Esta tese tem como objetivo discutir as variadas manifestações de mobilidades culturais e suas consequentes relações de alteridades no romance Relato de um certo oriente de Milton Hatoum, partindo do suposto de que a alteridade é parte constituinte da subjetividade e da relação humana de diferença e identidade com o Outro; e, ao mesmo tempo, analisar o processo intercultural da pré-tradução para a língua árabe de quatro capítulos do Relato de um certo oriente. Nesse sentido, este trabalho está focado em dois lócus das mobilidades culturais das alteridades: a narrativa de memória da imigração e a tradução literária. / This thesis aims to discuss the various manifestations of cultural mobilities and its consequent relations of alterities in the novel Tale of Certain Orient of Milton Hatoum, assuming that otherness is a constituent part of human subjectivity and its relationship of difference and identity with the Other; and at the same time we intend also to analyze the processo of intercultural pretranslation into Arabic of four chapters of the novel. Abordando esta construção numa perspectiva relacional da identidade e dinâmica territorial, procuro entender a partir de um mapeamento das agências, as relações de forças ou de poder presentes em suas intervenções e as formas criativas que os agentes têm encontrado para uma representação de seus interesses e posicionamento dentro deste campo social. Faço uma apropriação do conceito de agenciamento de Deleuze e Guattari para analisar esta construção de alteridades, que teria na exterioridade o seu meio de atuação, tendo em vista que para este autor não existem origens e nem fins, mas devires. Faço uma reflexão sobre minha trajetória como pastor e em seguida como pesquisador, e como estas posições se articulam. Abordo os sujeitos e a região onde estão inseridos, as agências, suas intervenções e os agenciamentos e por fim apresento uma reflexão conceitual com base no material empírico.

Diferenças sociais e culturais muito grandes são colocadas em contato de modo abrupto e expostas ao convívio tensionado. Movida por minha própria história como portuguesa no trânsito Brasil-Portugal, investigo a criação em dança motivada por trânsitos e deslocamentos (de sujeitos, ideias, informações, imagens, objetos, etc), através de um processo criativo solo que teve como ponto de partida a relação construída com o ambiente cultural de Salvador (Bahia), e de outros experimentos criativos desenvolvidos com criadores e público em geral, nos dois lados do oceano. Este estudo reafirma uma visão de dança como movimento-pensamento-abordagem de mundo, e dialoga com uma perspectiva multidimensional de entrelugar, caraterizando-o como um estado intervalar, relacional, como espaço/ experiência da diferença, como condição híbrida, ou exotópica (BAKHTIN, 2003), e como campo possível de mobilização de identidades/ alteridades. A partir da abordagem metodológica da Prática como Pesquisa (BARRETT&BOLT, 2007; CANDY, 2006), discute de que forma experiências de entrelugar-vividas em primeira pessoa ou provocadas no(s) outro(s)- interferem nas criações, imagens recíprocas e relações culturais entre Brasil e Portugal, países que no passado mantiveram elos baseados no colonialismo. O argumento aqui defendido é que processos de criação interessados em trânsitos culturais possuem o potencial para acessar e convocar diferentes entrelugares, e, por consequência, mobilizar identidades e alteridades. Numa dimensão mais ampla esta investigação vem argumentar que os processos criativos em dança no contexto de experiências interculturais imersivas têm grande potencial de modificar a relação dos sujeitos criadores consigo mesmos, com o outro e com o mundo ao redor, sugerindo assim um entrelaçamento entre processos criativos/ processos interculturais/ processos interpessoais. O estudo destas dinâmicas sublinha o papel da dança como prática de transformação social, como uma chave importante nas novas formas de convivência que estamos tendo que descobrir atualmente. / Intercultural exchanges are not a recent phenomenon but have been intensified in the post-colonial times, with displacements and migrations, launching new challenges for human beings. Large social and cultural differences are put into contact and exposed to strained coexistence. Driven by my own history as a Portuguese in traffic Brazil-Portugal, I investigate the creation in dance driven by exchanges and displacements (of subjects, ideas, information, images, objects, etc.), through a creative solo process that took as its starting point the relationship built with the cultural environment in Salvador (Bahia), and other creative experiments conducted with performers and the general public, on both sides of the ocean. This study reaffirms a vision of dance as movement-thought-world approach and dialogues with a multidimensional perspective of the in-between space, featuring it as an interval, relational state, as space/ experience the difference, as a hybrid or exotopic (BAKHTIN, 2003) condition, and as a possible field of mobilization of identities/ alterities. Based on methodological approach of Practice as Research (PaR) (BARRETT&BOLT, 2007; CANDY, 2006), it discusses how in-between experiences-lived in first person or caused in other(s) - interfere with creations, reciprocal images and cultural relations between Brazil and Portugal, countries which have maintained links based on colonialism in the past. The argument put forward is that creative processes interested in cultural exchanges have the potential to access and call different in-betweenesses, and therefore mobilize identities and alterities. On a wider scale, this research has argued that the creative processes in dance, in the context of immersive intercultural experiences, have great potencial to change the relationship of artists with themselves, with each other and with the world around, thus suggesting an interweaving of creative/ intercultural/ interpersonal processes. The study of these dynamics highlights the role of dance as a practice of social transformation, as an important key in the new forms of coexistence that we need to discover nowadays.

The alterity and culture on which these texts are inscribed indicate the differences that constitute the social life which is a permanent source of tension and conflict. Based on this guidance, we forward the analyses on the referring works, discussing such opinions from the postcolonial theory with the studies of Bonnic (2000), Hall (2006) and Bhabha (2003) on cultural identity and diaspora; Canclini (2007) and Ortiz (2000) on issues such as globalization and internationalization. Regarding to questions of alterity and poetics of relation, Glissant (2005) emphasizes the fact that mankind cannot lead the world and therefore be instinctively led to conceive the world with others, at the same position which for the author means one of the first conditions of the relation poetics In memory we associate our discussions with Le Goff (1996) , Seligmann (2003) and Ecléa Bosi (1994), and the author who discuss the Portuguesespeaking African literature: Afonso (2004), Abdala Júnior (2003) Tânia Macedo (2007), Rita Chaves (2008), Bezerra (2007), Duarte (2010), among other ones. Thus, the analyses of this study lead us to understanding of literary universe of Mia Couto s work and its relation with the world that fits in each conception of territories and diluted borders. / Investigaremos nesse trabalho os processos de alteridades e identidades que ocorrem nas personagens das obras O outro pé da sereia (2006) e Antes de nascer o mundo (2009), de Mia Couto, além da memória e o esquecimento nas travessias em que esses mesmos personagens retratam o cotidiano de Moçambique, das vilas, aldeias e cidades. A alteridade e a cultura em que esses textos se inscrevem apontam para a diferença, que constituem a vida social que é fonte permanente de tensão e conflito. Com base nessas orientações, encaminhamos as análises nas obras referidas discutindo tais posicionamentos a partir da teoria pós-colonial com os estudos de Bonnic (2000); Hall (2006) e Bhabha (2003) sobre identidade cultural e diáspora; Canclini (2007) e Ortiz (2000), em questões como globalização e mundialização. No que diz respeito às questões de alteridade e poética da relação, Glissant (2005) enfatiza o fato do homem não conseguir conduzir o mundo e, por isso, ser instintivamente levado a se conceber no mundo com os outros, no mesmo nível que os outros, o que para o autor, significa uma das primeiras condições da poética da relação. We based our study theoretically in the enunciativo-discursive language theory of Mikhail Bakhtin and, to leave of that referential, we defined the methodological procedures , as then organization and the discussions presented in the results. We left of the presupposition that to understand the subjects it is necessary to request to place them in your reality, in the universe of relationships in which they are submerged, and that are decisive the construction of meanings and the relationships and interactions for them established, considering, still, the researcher's active paper in the construction of the data. It participated with us, in the interviews and interactions, 27 TILS, located in series of the Fundamental Teaching II (6th to the 9th year), in schools of the municipal public nets of 8 (eight) Brazilian states. The interviews were recorded, and we did, also, annotations of context elements, important for the understanding of the subjects and yours speeches. We created dialogue spaces and reflection concerning the elements that guide the social practices of these subjects in your professional contexts and, leaving of discussions centered in the speech concepts, subject, dialogy and ideology, we cleaned our perception on the construction of the senses and meanings attributed by the TILS to your material realities and related universes, besides the function of the speeches in the manners as the subject of the research understand your function and responsibilities and they look at the work place for them in the sceneries of development of the deaf students' schooling. Among ours (in) conclusions, detached that the local sceneries indicate significant changes in course in what plays to the deaf students' education and, mainly, in the relationship with the TILS. The plurality of professional entails and of wages it demonstrated that there is a lot to be done in this field of the rights and duties. The suitable situations for the subjects also appeared for the distance among what it would be the ideal and what is the Real in the implantation of bilingual educational projects. We saw as indispensable the support offer to the faculty, as well as the need of the TILS of if they feel part of the teaching team and they develop partnership relationships with the teachers. We saw, also, that the realities and singularities lived by the performance in school atmospheres they hinder these professionals excessively to define your roles, the limits of your responsibilities in the teaching process and of the deaf students' learning. Finally, on formation, professionalization and politization of the TILS, we believed that are aspects they be constantly pursued her, not just in your dimension individual, but collective, considering the interlacement and the crossings of the aspects political, ideological, philosophical, that constitute them in the group of your professional identities. With relationship to the unfoldings of this research, because the done questions raised many other, we believed, mainly, in the importance and need to think on her the formation in a deep and connected way to the beginnings of the alterity. And, still, we waited that, after materializing doubts, conflicts, anguishes and reflections of TILS, this material can serve, also, to the formulation of new and others idealize and ideas of professional formation for them. / O foco deste trabalho foi desvelar, nos discursos de Tradutores-Interpretes de Língua de Sinais (TILS), a compreensão e as concepções que eles têm acerca de seu papel no processo de formação do aluno surdo e da constituição de suas alteridades profissionais. Fundamentamos teoricamente nosso estudo na teoria enunciativo-discursiva da linguagem de Mikhail Bakhtin e, a partir desse referencial, definimos tanto os procedimentos metodológicos, quanto a organização e as discussões apresentadas nos resultados. Partimos do pressuposto de que compreender os sujeitos requer situá-los em sua realidade, no universo de relações no qual estão imersos, e que são determinantes a construção de significados e as relações e interações por eles estabelecidas, considerando, ainda, o papel ativo do pesquisador na construção dos dados. Participaram conosco, das entrevistas e interações, 27 TILS, atuantes em séries do Ensino Fundamental II (6º ao 9º ano), em escolas das redes públicas municipais de 8 (oito) estados brasileiros. As entrevistas foram gravadas, e fizemos, também, anotações de elementos contextuais, relevantes para a compreensão dos sujeitos e seus discursos. Criamos espaços de diálogo e reflexão acerca dos elementos que orientam as práticas sociais destes sujeitos em seus contextos profissionais e, partindo de discussões centradas nos conceitos de discurso, sujeito, dialogia e ideologia, apuramos nossa percepção sobre a construção dos sentidos e significados atribuídos pelos TILS às suas realidades materiais e universos relacionais, além da função dos discursos nos modos como os sujeitos da pesquisa entendem seu papel e responsabilidades e olham para o lugar ocupado por eles nos cenários de desenvolvimento da escolarização de alunos surdos. Dentre nossas (in)conclusões, destacamos que os cenários locais indicam mudanças significativas em curso no que tange à escolaridade de alunos surdos e, principalmente, na relação com os TILS. A pluralidade de vínculos profissionais e de salários demonstrou que há muito a ser feito neste campo dos direitos e deveres. As situações indicadas pelos sujeitos apontaram também para a distância entre o que seria o ideal e o que é o real na implantação de projetos educacionais bilíngues. Vimos como indispensáveis a oferta de suporte ao corpo docente, assim como a necessidade dos TILS de se sentirem parte da equipe de ensino e desenvolverem relações de parceria com os professores. Vimos, também, que as realidades e singularidades vivenciadas pela atuação em ambientes escolares dificultam sobremaneira a estes profissionais definirem seus papéis, os limites de suas responsabilidades no processo de ensino e de aprendizagem dos alunos surdos. Finalmente, sobre formação, profissionalização e politização dos TILS, acreditamos que são aspectos a serem perseguidos constantemente, não apenas em sua dimensão individual, mas coletiva, considerando o entrelaçamento e os atravessamentos dos aspectos políticos, ideológicos, filosóficos, que os constituem no conjunto das suas identidades profissionais. Quanto aos desdobramentos desta pesquisa, visto que as perguntas feitas suscitaram muitas outras, acreditamos, principalmente, na importância e necessidade de se pensar sobre a formação de maneira profunda e conectada aos princípios da alteridade. E, ainda, esperamos que, após materializar dúvidas, conflitos, angústias e reflexões de TILS, este material possa servir, também, à formulação de novas e outros ideais e ideias de formação profissional para eles.
