A década de 70 foi caracterizada por grande atividade de construtoras brasileiras no exterior, particularmente na África e no Oriente Médio. Nos anos 80, as organizações brasileiras destacaram-se pelo grande fluxo de investimentos realizados no exterior, e na década de 90, em conseqüência da abertura comercial que houve em nosso país, as empresas brasileiras foram buscar atualização tecnológica no exterior, para enfrentar competidores estrangeiros. Esse movimento de internacionalização caracterizou-se principalmente pelo deslocamento de empresas do setor industrial; a internacionalização das empresas de varejo é um fenômeno mais recente. Pesquisas sobre o processo de internacionalização da empresa varejista brasileira ainda não são muito numerosas no país, o que talvez se deva ao fato de que esse fenômeno ainda é relativamente recente no cenário brasileiro. Nesse contexto o estudo objetivou investigar a relação entre as teorias sobre internacionalização de empresas e o processo de expansão de empresas de varejo brasileiras para países estrangeiros e identificar o que leva uma empresa a se deslocar para outros países, para onde se desloca (por que escolhe determinados locais em detrimento de outros), quais são os modos de entrada selecionados e como as empresas se adaptam aos novos locais, sob os conceitos de internacionalização de empresas. O estudo utilizou dados secundários provenientes de teses, dissertações, artigos e Internet, além de dados primários coletados em entrevistas em profundidade com os principais gestores de dez empresas de varejo brasileiras. A metodologia de pesquisa empregada englobou a Análise de Conteúdo e a Análise de Correspondência. Um dos resultados do trabalho foi a proposta de uma Taxonomia de Encadeamento Teórico sobre a internacionalização de empresas. A análise dos dados mostrou que todas as estruturas teóricas registradas nesta tese foram identificadas no processo de internacionalização das empresas de varejo brasileiras pesquisadas. / The decade of 1970 was characterized by the intense activity of Brazilian construction companies abroad, particularly in Africa and the Middle East. In the eighties, Brazilian organizations stood out because of the large flow of investments they made abroad and in the nineties, as a result of the trade opening made in our country, Brazilian companies sought updated technology abroad to face foreign competitors. However, the movement of internationalization is primarily characterized by the displacement of industrial companies. The internationalization of retail businesses is a more recent phenomenon. Studies on the process of internationalization of Brazilian retail companies are not numerous yet in the country. This may be due to the fact that this is a still relatively recent phenomenon in the Brazilian scene. Therefore, this study aimed to investigate the relationship between the internationalization theories and the expansion process of Brazilian retail companies towards other countries. Additionally, by using the concepts of international business, this work sought to identify why companies go global, where they head, which entry modes they employ and how they adapt themselves to new locations. This work has utilized secondary data retrieved from theses, dissertations, articles and internet, besides primary data collected through in-depth interviews with executives from 10 Brazilian retail companies. Content Analysis and Correspondence Analysis techniques were employed. Findings a taxonomy for theoretical comprehension of the phenomenon under investigation. Data analysis showed that all theoretical frameworks employed in this work were present in the internationalization process of Brazilian retail companies.

The research considers the content analysis of the main business magazines published in Brazil, from 2011 to 2014, and discusses their results considering the role of the individual in the organization and the concept of competence . It concludes with a reflection on the main characteristics required of workers in the XXI century. / Com esta pesquisa, busca-se identificar qual o perfil do profissional demandado pelas organizações contemporâneas, a partir do retratado nas publicações da mídia de negócios, aqui chamada de pop-management, de acordo com o trabalho de Wood Jr e Paula (2002). A pesquisa compreende a análise de conteúdo das principais revistas de negócio publicadas no Brasil, entre 2011 e 2014, procurando discutir seus resultados sob a luz das referências do indivíduo na organização e o conceito de competência. Dessa forma, tais reflexões poderiam possibilitar a humanização da Ciência, o desenvolvimento do pensamento crítico, além de melhorar a compreensão dos conteúdos e a formação do professor. Isto nos remete aos cursos de Licenciatura e às possibilidades formativas que estes vêm proporcionando em relação a esta temática. Assim, esta pesquisa buscou compreender qual o perfil formativo dos quatro cursos de Licenciatura em Química de uma universidade pública do Estado de São Paulo, no que tange a articulação da HFC com ensino. (Resumo completo, clicar acesso eletrônico abaixo) / Abstract: The oncoming of aspects of History and the Philosophy of Science (HPS) to teaching has been discussed as an important approach to scientific literacy, with potential to develop a more substantiated view on the Nature of Science (NoS) by deconstructing its comprehension as a sum of absolute truths, discovered by great isolated geniuses and free from all influences. In this way, such reflections could enable a humanization of science, a development of critical thinking, and an improvement in the understanding of contents and in the teacher formation. This brings us to the teacher education programs courses and the formation possibilities that these have been providing in relation to this theme. Therefore, this research sought to understand the formative profile of four teacher education programs courses in Chemistry of a public university in the State of São Paulo, regarding the articulation of HPS with teaching. We start from the analysis of the Courses' Pedagogical Projects (PPCs) and the teaching plans of the specific HPS disciplines. We also seek to investigate the professors who teach this subject in order to understand how their formation could influence their practice. Este trabalho tem por objetivo verificar as motivações inconscientes presentes na escolha da profissão de psicólogo dos alunos do primeiro e segundo anos de Psicologia, procurando compreender a relação entre conteúdos latente, inconsciente, e manifesto, consciente, desta escolha, com base nos pressupostos da teoria de Melanie Klein. Realizamos esta pesquisa utilizando dois instrumentos de investigação: a Prancha 1 do TAT, tendo por objetivo entender os conteúdos das respostas a nível inconsciente, através do mecanismo de projeção, e a utilização da Entrevista Semidirigida, objetivando que o aluno pudesse agir de modo mais natural, nos propiciando a observação de sua postura, reações e compreender os conteúdos das respostas a nível consciente. Constatamos que os alunos tiveram percepções variadas com relação ao estímulo da Prancha 1 do TAT e várias foram as combinações das reparações apresentadas a níveis inconsciente e consciente. Baseado nas reparações sugeridas por Bohoslavsky, inserimos dois outros tipos de reparação: autêntica/maníaca e maníaca/autêntica, mediante constatação clínica, devido a dinâmica do funcionamento mental apresentada, onde nos detivemos para isso aos |a elementos citados nas estórias, bem como no contexto em que as mesmas se deram, como o relato foi feito e no tipo de solução apresentada. Verificamos através das análises das respostas, que nem sempre o que foi mostrado a nível consciente pela escolha da profissão de psicólogo, coincidiu com o nível inconsciente, revelando a importância de se levar em consideração a questão do conteúdo inconsciente presente nesta escolha. / This dissertation aims at studying the existing unconscious motivations in the professional choice of a psychology career of first and second year undergraduate students, trying to understand the relation between latent, unconsciousness and manifest, consciousness content of this choice from the theoretical framework of Melanie Klein.The research was carried out through two investigation tools: Picture 1 of TAT (Thematic Apperception Test), with the objective of comprehending the content of the answers at an unconscious level, through the projection mechanism, and the use of the Semi-directed Interview, which would have the student act more naturally. This would allow us to observe the students posture, reactions and the content of his/her answers at a conscious level. We have found that the student had varied perceptions in relation to Picture 1 stimulus and they presented several reparation combinations at an unconscious and conscious level. Based on the reparation suggested by Bohoslavsky, two other types of reparation were included for us: authentic/manic and manic/authentic, by means of clinical study, due to the functioning of mental dynamics, in which we have examined the elements mentioned in the stories, the content where these stories took place, how the account was given and the sort of suggestion offered. Through the analysis of the answers, we have verified that what was displayed at a conscious level regarding the psychologist career choice not always coincide with the unconscious level. This reveals the importance of taking the question of the unconscious content existing in that choice into consideration.

A pesquisa elegeu como referencial empírico o Curso de Pedagogia da Unesp, campus de Rio Claro, focalizando o estágio de prática de ensino nos anos iniciais do Ensino Fundamental nele desenvolvido. Como objetivo geral, buscamos: explorar os processos de constituição do acompanhamento compartilhado de estágio didático-pedagógico na formação de professores de um curso de licenciatura em Pedagogia de uma universidade pública. Nos objetivos específicos, buscamos: a) documentar e analisar o processo de elaboração conjunta de dispositivos de acompanhamento de estagiários; b) analisar a contribuição do dispositivo proposto no processo de desenvolvimento profissional dos estagiários na e para a escola; c) identificar as transformações introduzidas pelo dispositivo no desenvolvimento do estágio segundo o ponto de vista do estagiário e dos agentes de formação. No quadro teórico, conceituamos: acompanhamento e suas possibilidades; parceria; análise de práticas; dispositivos de formação e prática reflexiva. A investigação se desenvolveu a partir de uma pesquisa qualitativa construtivo-colaborativa, tendo como espaços seis escolas municipais e uma universidade. The focus is the pre-service teacher training in the Education program at Unesp-Rio Claro. The general aim is: to explore the pre-service teacher education in didactic-pedagogic shared accompaniment. The specific aims are: a) to document and to analyze the process of joint preparation of devices to accompany the student teachers; b) to analyze the contribution of the suggested device in the professional development process of student teachers in school and to school; c) to identify the changes introduced by the device in pre-service teacher's development according to the student teachers' and education agents' opinion. In the theoretical framework, we conceptualized: accompaniment and its possibilities; partnership; analyzes of practices; training devices; and reflective practice. The investigation is a qualitative constructive-collaborative research. It was developed in six primary schools and a public university. There were 45 participants: a pre-service Supervisor (professor), a school principal, four pedagogical-coordinators of schools, 27 school teachers (partner-teacher) and 12 student-teachers. L'accent de l'investigation est mis sur le stage supervisé du programme de baccalauréat en enseignement préscolaire et primaire (Pédagogie) de l'Unesp à Rio Claro. L'objectif général est le suivant : explorer les processus de constitution de l'accompagnement partagé de stage didactique-pédagogique dans la formation des enseignants d'un programme de baccalauréat en enseignement préscolaire et primaire (Pédagogie) d'une université publique. Les objectifs spécifiques sont : a) documenter et analyser le processus d'élaboration conjoint des dispositifs d'accompagnement de stagiaires ; b) analyser la contribution du dispositif proposé dans le processus de développement professionnel des stagiaires dans et pour l'école ; c) identifier les changements introduits par le dispositif dans le développement du stage, selon la perspective du stagiaire et des agents de formation. A literatura aponta o crescente interesse acerca da dor e da religião. Concernente com o conceito de dor total e com o referencial da psicofísica, o presente estudo teve como objetivo elaborar o Instrumento de Avaliação de Conteúdos Religiosos (IACOR). Participaram do estudo 240 sujeitos, divididos em seis grupos de acordo com a denominação religiosa (católicos, evangélicos e espíritas) e de acordo com a prática que exercem (afiliados e líderes). A coleta de dados foi realizada por meio de entrevista semiestruturada que abarcou os aspectos sociodemográficos e percepções gerais acerca das específicas religiões e por meio de instrumento elaborado com base nas escalas disponíveis da literatura e na nossa experiência. Nas entrevistas foram levantados aspectos referentes à idade, ao sexo, à profissão, à religião anterior e à escolaridade. Foram levantadas as categorias de análise: Tempo de afiliação, Início da prática religiosa e mudanças de afiliação, Responsabilidade pelos atos e relação com a morte, Descrição de Deus, Consciência da existência de experiências profundas, Possibilidade de recompensa, Aumento da fé na proximidade com a morte, Religião como tentativa de explicar as limitações humanas, Relação entre religião e ciência e A religião do passado e do presente em relação à ciência. Em relação à escala do IACOR, os cinco itens de maior atribuição entre todos os grupos foram: \"Eu acredito que a natureza deveria ser respeitada\" (9,94±0,28), \"Eu acredito que todos os seres vivos merecem respeito\" (9,81± 0,64), \"Minha vida é um processo de transformação\" (9,59±1,11), \"Fazer a vida valer a pena\" (9,51±1,21) e \"Eu sinto que a minha vida tem propósito e significado\" (9,47±1,22). Os itens se referem às dimensões: relação com o meio - criação, no primeiro e no segundo itens e ideias gerais sobre a vida, no terceiro, no quarto e no quinto itens. Os cinco itens de menor atribuição foram: \"Não existe vida após a morte\" (0,82±2,41), \"Tentei lidar com a situação do meu jeito, sem a ajuda de Deus\" (1,75±2,68), \"Uma pessoa pode ser completa sem buscar uma vida espiritual ativa\" (2,06±3,25), \"Eu não sei como começar a resolver meus problemas e entendo a morte como um desses problemas\" (2,09±2,74) e \"Não consigo compreender o propósito da morte\" (2,12±3,29). Tais itens se referem às dimensões respectivamente: pós-morte sem continuidade, relação negativa com Deus, ausência de prática espiritual e relação negativa com a morte nos dois últimos itens. Decorrente da análise da entrevista e da escala do IACOR, foi possível perceber as associações existentes entre a opinião dos participantes e os constructos religiosos da denominação da qual fazem parte e evidencia a necessidade de se conhecer e abordar o fenômeno religioso como parte integrante do ser humano, bem como um potencial recurso do manejo e da modulação da dor do existir, expresso pela dor do mesmo diante das questões associadas à morte, à finitude e à desesperança / The literature indicates the growing interest about pain and religion. Concerning the concept of total pain and the framework of psychophysics, the present study aimed to develop the Assessment Instrument of Religious Items (IACOR). The study included 240 subjects divided into six groups according to religious denomination (catholic, evangelical and spiritualists) and according to the practice performing (members and leaders). Data collection was conducted through semi-structured interview that encompassed sociodemographic characteristics and general perceptions about specific religions and by an instrument drawn up on the basis of scales available in the literature and our experience. In interviews aspects regarding age, gender, profession, the former religion and education were raised. Categories of analysis were raised: time affiliation, initiation of religious practice and changes in affiliation, liability for the acts and relationship with death, description of God, awareness of the existence of profound experiences, chance of reward, increased faith in proximity to death, religion in an attempt to explain human limitations, relationship between religion and science and the religion of the past and present in relation to science. Regarding IACOR scale, the five items with higher scores among all groups were : \" I believe that nature should be respected \" ( 9.94 ± 0.28 ), \" I believe that all living beings deserve respect \" ( 9.81 ± 0.64 ) , \" My life is a process of transformation \" ( 9.59 ± 1.11 ), \" Making a life worth living \" ( 9.51 ± 1.21 ) and \" I feel that my life has purpose and meaning \" ( 9.47 ± 1.22). The items refer to the dimensions: relationship with the environment - creation, in the first and second items and general ideas about life, in the third, fourth and fifth items. The five items were lower attribution : \"There is no life after death \" ( 0.82 ± 2.41), \" I tried to handle it on my own without the help of God \" ( 1.75 ± 2.68 ), \" A person can be complete without seeking an active spiritual life \" ( 2.06 ± 3.25 ), \" I do not know how to begin to solve my problems and understand death as one of those problems \" ( 2.09 ± 2 74 ) and \" I cannot understand the purpose of death \" ( 2.12 ± 3.29). These items refer to dimensions respectively: postmortem without continuity, negative relationship with God, no spiritual practice and negative relationship with death in the last two items. From the analysis of the interview and scale of IACOR, we could perceive the existing associations between participants\' perceptions and constructs of religious denomination of which are part and highlights the need to understand and address the religious phenomenon as an integral part of being human as well as a potential resource management and the modulation of pain exists, expressed by pain in the face of issues related to death, finitude and hopelessness

As a significant distribution of ambient music and the emergence of companies offering the environmental-musicalization service could be noted, this thesis aimed at investigating the roles of music in service environments. Herein, it was presented the evolution and application of music in marketing and services marketing researches in order to contextualize the state of art of the literature, such that the functionalities of music could afterwards be identified and categorized into roles. Moreover, the study discussed the market practices related to the utilization of music in service places and had these practices compared to the literature. It is important to mention that in this thesis, the service environments were found to be the restaurants and clothing stores, once the participants of the study brought cases and examples related to these contexts. Also, it is relevant to say that the thesis was conducted from the qualitative methodological approach and its design was based on the content analysis analytical approach. By this, a systematic review of the literature was conducted in the way the selection of music-in-marketing scholars followed some criteria and the thesis\' analytical goal of operationalizing the functionalities of music in service places could be justified. The field phase of the thesis\' content analysis was characterized by the in-depth interviews with marketing specialists that had been being dealing with the environmental music in service places and the operational observations in some musicalization providers and clients. Hence, three main roles could be identified to categorize the functionalities of music brought by the interviews and observations: the role of being a commodity, the role of being a sound, and the role of being inspirational. As a theoretical implication, it can be highlighted the influence of music on the service environment\' employees and vice-versa. As a practical implication, it was suggested to the musicalization providers and clients to target the consumer outcomes other than the stay duration. / Como pode ser notado um significativo valor financeiro relacionado à distribuição de música ambiente além do surgimento de empresas oferecendo musicalização ambiental, esta dissertação objetivou investigar os papéis da música em ambientes de serviços. Assim, foram apresentadas a evolução e as aplicações da música nas pesquisas de marketing e de marketing de serviços a fim de contextualizar o estado da arte da literatura, de maneira que as funcionalidades da música pudessem ser posteriormente categorizadas em papéis. Além disso, o estudo discute as funcionalidades da música praticadas no mercado e as compara com as apontadas pela teoria. Vale notar que, para esta dissertação, os ambientes de serviços foram operacionalizados como sendo restaurantes e lojas de roupas, haja vista que os participantes deste estudo trouxeram casos e exemplos relacionados a esses contextos. Também se faz necessário mencionar que esta dissertação trata-se de um estudo qualitativo sob o design da abordagem analítica de análise de conteúdo. Por meio dessas abordagens, foi realizada uma revisão sistemática a fim de selecionar autores e estudos relevantes para a dissertação, e, consequentemente, justificar o objetivo analítico de operacionalizar as funcionalidades da música nos ambientes de serviços. A fase de campo da análise de conteúdo desta dissertação foi caracterizada por meio das entrevistas em profundidade realizadas com especialistas de marketing que vinham lidando com a musicalização de ambientes de serviços, e por meio das observações operacionais conduzidas com algumas provedoras de ambientação musical bem como com alguns de seus espaços clientes. Logo, três papéis puderam ser identificados na categorização das funcionalidades musicais apontadas pelas pesquisas de campo: o papel de ser uma commodity, o papel de ser um som, e o papel inspirador. Portanto, a influência da música nos funcionários de um ambiente de serviço e vice-versa é apontada como uma implicação teórica. Nas implicações práticas, é sugerido de os provedores e clientes de musicalização ambiental focarem em reações de consumidores além do tempo de permanência nos ambientes de serviços.

Assim, foram apresentadas a evolução e as aplicações da música nas pesquisas de marketing e de marketing de serviços a fim de contextualizar o estado da arte da literatura, de maneira que as funcionalidades da música pudessem ser posteriormente categorizadas em papéis. Além disso, o estudo discute as funcionalidades da música praticadas no mercado e as compara com as apontadas pela teoria. Vale notar que, para esta dissertação, os ambientes de serviços foram operacionalizados como sendo restaurantes e lojas de roupas, haja vista que os participantes deste estudo trouxeram casos e exemplos relacionados a esses contextos. Também se faz necessário mencionar que esta dissertação trata-se de um estudo qualitativo sob o design da abordagem analítica de análise de conteúdo. Por meio dessas abordagens, foi realizada uma revisão sistemática a fim de selecionar autores e estudos relevantes para a dissertação, e, consequentemente, justificar o objetivo analítico de operacionalizar as funcionalidades da música nos ambientes de serviços. A fase de campo da análise de conteúdo desta dissertação foi caracterizada por meio das entrevistas em profundidade realizadas com especialistas de marketing que vinham lidando com a musicalização de ambientes de serviços, e por meio das observações operacionais conduzidas com algumas provedoras de ambientação musical bem como com alguns de seus espaços clientes. Logo, três papéis puderam ser identificados na categorização das funcionalidades musicais apontadas pelas pesquisas de campo: o papel de ser uma commodity, o papel de ser um som, e o papel inspirador. Portanto, a influência da música nos funcionários de um ambiente de serviço e vice-versa é apontada como uma implicação teórica. Nas implicações práticas, é sugerido de os provedores e clientes de musicalização ambiental focarem em reações de consumidores além do tempo de permanência nos ambientes de serviços.

Na região de Açailândia/Maranhão, que possui o terceiro Produto Interno Bruto (PIB) do estado e tem como principal fonte econômica as indústrias beneficiadoras de minério, ainda é comum nas fazendas e carvoarias os trabalhadores serem expostos às condições de trabalho escravo. Tais condições representam uma violação dos direitos fundamentais e dos direitos humanos dos trabalhadores. Estes indivíduos, mesmo após serem libertados, ainda estão vulneráveis ao aliciamento, face à ausência de políticas públicas para o enfrentamento deste problema social. Neste cenário, foi criado em Açailândia/MA o Centro de Defesa da Vida dos Direitos Humanos Carmem Bascarán (CDVDH/CB), com objetivo de proporcionar um espaço para o acolhimento dos indivíduos que sofreram violação de direitos humanos. O CDVDH/CB possui uma sede, onde realiza o acolhimento dos trabalhadores e desenvolve atividades socioculturais e dois polos que produzem artesanato derivado de papel reciclado e móveis planejados, utilizados para a qualificação técnica, geração de renda e reinserção dos trabalhadores na sociedade. O CDVDH/CB conta com o apoio da esfera pública e privada para a realização das suas atividades, como a ONG Manos Unidas, Brazil Foundation, Petrobras, ONG Repórter Brasil, entre outras. Este estudo tem como objetivo identificar as contribuições realizadas pelo CDVDH/CB para o desenvolvimento humano de trabalhadores escravizados, tendo como referência a Abordagem das Capacitações de Amartya Sen. A escolha desta abordagem para delimitar o estudo se deu em função da estrutura normativa proposta por Sen, para a avaliação da desigualdade e do desenvolvimento humano. O método é qualitativo, baseado na pesquisa bibliográfica, documental e de campo. Foram realizadas entrevistas com diretores do CDVDH/CB e trabalhadores assistidos, além da observação e análise de relatórios de prestação de contas do CDVDH/CB às empresas patrocinadoras. No tratamento dos dados foi utilizada a análise de conteúdo. Identificou-se que o CDVDH/CB tem como estratégia de apoio dividir suas ações em três eixos: Prevenção, Repressão e Inserção, desta forma, além de combater o trabalho escravo, objetiva-se reinserir o trabalhador na sociedade. Os trabalhadores demonstraram satisfação e se sentem seguros com o apoio promovido pelo CDVDH/CB. O estudo levou em consideração as cinco liberdades propostas por Sen: políticas, econômicas, sociais, transparência e segurança protetora. Após serem acolhidos pelo CDVDH/CB os trabalhadores tiveram suas capacidades expandidas. Como meio de expansão de liberdades os trabalhadores participam de qualificação profissional, obtiveram seus documentos pessoais e passaram a atuar em movimentos sociais e religiosos. Desta forma, tendo a liberdade como fim, a amplitude do ser e do fazer da pessoa, os colaboradores conseguiram atividade profissional remunerada, residência fixa, bens de consumo e lazer. Verificou-se que o apoio desenvolvido pela CDVDH/CB é referência no combate ao trabalho escravo no Maranhão, na reinserção desses trabalhadores no mercado e contribui para a promoção do desenvolvimento humano dos assistidos. / After 125 years of slavery abolishment, there still are slave work concentrations in Brazil. In the region of Açailândia/Maranhão that has the third Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in the state and as it’s main source of income, the benefactoring industries of minerals, still is common for the workers of farms and coal mines to be exposed to slave work conditions. Such conditions represent a violation of fundamental and human rights of workers. These individuals, even after being freed, still are vulnerable to persuasion due to the absence of public policies. Because of that, in the city of Açailândia/MA, the Carmen Bascarán Human Rights and Defense of Life Center (CDVDH/CB) was created, with the objective of providing shelter to the individuals that suffered violation of human rights. The CDVDH/CB has a headquarters where they shelter the workers and hold social cultural activities and two places that produce artesian work derived from recycled paper and furniture utilized for the technical qualification and income for the workers in the society. The CDVDH/CB depends on the support of public and private circles to go on with their activities, as the Manos Unidas NGO, Brazil foundation, Petrobras, Reporter Brasil NGO, among others. This study, had and it’s objective, identify the contributions done by the CDVDH/CB to the human development of slave workers, having as reference Capability Approach of Amartya Sen. The choice of this approach to conduct the study, was because of Amartya Sen’s concept, to evaluate inequality and the human development. This method is qualitative based on the bibliographic, documental and field research. Interviews with the directors of CDVDH/CB were done, and workers attended, beyond the observation and analysis of stock reports from CDVDH/CB to the sponsoring companies. The content’s analysis was utilized in the data. It was identified that CDVDH/CB has as support strategy, to divide it’s bonds in three axes: Prevention, Repression and Insertion, so besides fighting against slave work, the objective is to reinsert the worker in society. The workers demonstrate satisfaction and feel safe with the help provided by CDVDH/CB. The study took into consideration the five liberties proposed by Sen: political, economical, social, transparency and safe protection. After being sheltered by CDVDH/CB, the workers were able to qualify their capabilities. As a way of freedom expansion, workers participated in professional qualifying, obtained their personal documents and started to act in social and religious movements. This way, they were able to get paying jobs, permanent homes, leisure and consumer goods. It was verified that the support given by the CDVDH/CB is a reference in the fight against slave work in Maranhão, by reinserting these workers in the market and contributing to assist in the development of the assisted.

Esta dissertação tem por objetivo geral compreender se e como a outridade é construída na editoria Mundo da Folha de S. Paulo. Nosso ponto de partida foi o entendimento de que o jornalismo, além de estar centrado na contemporaneidade, deveria evidenciar as relações intersubjetivas baseadas tanto na diferença quanto na semelhança. Identificamos três eixos centrais para a discussão proposta: alteridade, outridade e jornalismo. Nas seções teóricas, trabalhamos com a alteridade e a outridade pela perspectiva fenomenológica e o jornalismo pelo paradigma construtivista, compreendendo que a participação ativa dos sujeitos sociais se reflete nas distintas percepções e interpretações que se pode ter do mundo. As abordagens metodológicas utilizadas foram Análise de Conteúdo e Análise de Narrativa. Na investigação empírica, analisamos 214 textos informativos publicados na versão impressa do jornal, em 2015. Como resultados, organizamos um mapeamento quantitativo da editoria estudada e, em uma análise qualitativa de 32 textos, identificamos os tipos de sujeitos narrados e construídos pela Folha: 1) o outro como sujeito transgressor e inconformado com sua condição particular; 2) o outro como sujeito desamparado ou à margem, 3) o outro como sujeito ameaçador, violento ou radical, 4) o outro como fenômeno da natureza, 5) o outro como sujeito sobrevivente, 6) o outro como sujeito ligado ao passado histórico. / This study aims mainly to understand if and how otherness is constructed in Folha de S. Paulo’s World section. We considered that journalism, in addition to being centered on contemporaneity, should highlight intersubjective relations based on both difference and similarity. Here, we identified three central axes: alterity, otherness and journalism. In the theoretical sections, we worked with alterity and otherness through the phenomenological perspective, and journalism through the constructivist paradigm, understanding that the social subject’s active participation is reflected at different perceptions and interpretations that one can have of the world. The methodologies employed were Content Analysis and Narrative Analysis. In the empirical investigation we analyzed 214 informative texts published in Folha de S. Paulo newspaper, in 2015. As a result, we organized a quantitative mapping and, a qualitative text analysis, in which we identified the subject’s types narrated and constructed by Folha: 1) the other as a transgressor and recusant subject; 2) the other as a helpless or marginalized subject, 3) the other as a threatening, violent or radical subject, 4) the other as natural phenomenon, 5) the other as a survivor, 6) the other as a subject related to historical past.
