We are glad to present Tutor, a platform that allows adequate and timely communication
between the school and the parents, generating a mean of communication friendly, simple,
but at the same time efficient. This proposal was born because of identifying the
inconveniences found between teachers and parents to communicate efficiently. This tool has
the advantage of being versatile, since it can be accessed from any computer, including a
digital application version for mobile phones. This solution manages to maximize the
efficiency in communication between the teacher and the parent, for a correct and adequate
follow-up of the student during the school year, identifying in a single platform which are the
pending tasks, scheduling the delivery dates and monitoring the progress of their children,
that is why through various tests it is possible to determine the desirability of the product
considering the directors where 60% of the interviewees are willing to pay between 2,000 and
2,500 soles per month. Likewise, usability tests were carried out where the directors make
use of the modules sending notes and messages and we discover that only 20% abandon the
application showing a favorable acceptance. To valid our project, we run a Montecarlo
simulation. We obtained an average value of S/4’350,027 of the project's equity with a
probability of 0.00951% that the NPV is negative. On the other hand, it’s important to
consider that the project performs a NPV of 7'042.950 million soles with an IRR of 58.34%.
The proposal can also be considered sustainable since it manages to be clearly related to
SDGs 4, 8, and 15, considering the highest percentage of quality education with an IRO of
70% and a social NPV of 3’123,424 million soles. Thus, it is possible to consume less paper,
less ink in printing, teachers save time issuing communications and parents reviewing or
attending school meetings, becoming an eco-friendly and financially viable tool.

Social (ODS) ocho “Trabajo decente y crecimiento económico”.
Rurales. / The use of technology has grown exponentially in recent years having a strong impact
on financial companies, which have been required to innovate their digital services with the
goal to improve user experience. Furthermore, the fast growth of Fintech’s in the country has
increased user expectations and experience standards. As a result, users nowadays prefer to
use mobile applications or web pages to perform financial transactions to avoid a trip to the
bank, save time, and/or prevent exposure to various risks. Nevertheless, while this
technological progress has been achieved by Peru’s larger banks, financial entities with a
smaller market share -on the contrary- have had minimal growth, leaving their users without
access to the benefits of banking technologies.
This thesis presents a proposal that seeks to alleviate this problem: It takes more time
to users of smaller banks to perform financial transactions since, for example, they need to
stop by the bank and wait. This work is divided into eight chapters, and the problem at issue
is evidenced in the first one. Chapters two and three analyze the banking market and users of
banking services respectively, and chapters four through eight go over our business project
and its financial and social viability. This proposal seeks to solve a problem experienced by
users of 35 financial companies that do not have access to the benefits offered by the
digitization of the financial sector. This project aims to provide these users the possibility to
integrate their financial operations through a mobile application called "Al Toke.” This
platform would generate a positive impact socially by saving people time, and economically
by honoring the Social Development Goal (SDG) of "Decent work and economic growth".
Finally, this proposal focuses on users from socioeconomic levels B, C and D, and users of
Multiple Banking (banks), Financial Companies, Municipal and Rural Savings Banks.

This business model proposal addresses a relevant social problem faced by freelancers in the
creative and cultural industries in Latin America. It has been identified that many creative
ventures fail due to difficulties related to the management of the professional activity,
especially in administrative, financial and strategic planning areas. To solve this problem, we
propose the development of a management and productivity tool called Exprimidor. The
product is a software as a service (SaaS) that allows users to access it from anywhere through
a mobile application or a website. The main objective of Exprimidor is to reduce the time
spent on administrative activities, allowing users to focus more on creative work. In addition,
it seeks to increase professional competitiveness through the use of management and
productivity tools. The business proposal has been validated through a prototype by means of
experiments and usability tests with potential users. The target market in Latin America is
estimated to consist of 1'200,000 creative freelancers in areas such as graphic design, fashion
design, 2D animation, photography, urban art, visual arts, cultural management, journalism,
music production, film, marketing and advertising. In terms of financial viability, an initial
investment of $234,000 USD is considered. Five-year projections indicate a net present value
of $1'028,000 USD and an internal rate of return of 81 %. In addition, a social net present
value of $902,000 USD is estimated, demonstrating a positive impact on the fulfillment of
Sustainable Development Goal 8, with a social relevance index of 75 %. In conclusion, the
business model proposal is considered executable as it meets the criteria of desirability,
feasibility, viability, and sustainability.

want to eat healthy; however, given their daily activities they do not have the time to meet
this goal. Given this, we identify that millennials and centennials are a significant group with
a growing concern about this issue; many of them currently work remotely or like to eat
home-cooked food; however, due to lack of time, he consumes food services through
delivery. In addition, if we consider the exponential growth of this item, there is an attractive
market to invest. In this sense, we present our Healthy Friends business proposal, dedicated
to providing a supply delivery service for the preparation of healthy dishes and with
personalized nutritional advice, through a mobile application (app) of the same name. Orders
are registered through the app and served by housewives in 17 districts of Lima. During the
product design process, the value proposition that would satisfy the needs of the potential
user was defined. Applying agile methodologies, the prototype was defined to then validate
various hypotheses related to the desirability of the business model, verifying that customers
would be willing to use our app. The hypothesis related to the feasibility of the solution was
also validated by applying Montecarlo simulation on the sales projections. Finally, the
financial viability hypothesis was validated based on the probability of generating
profitability for the business under various growth scenarios. As a result, it is concluded that
Healthy Friends proposes a business model that generates economic and social value through
a healthy eating solution, satisfies the needs of the target audience and generates financial
value with a VAN of S/ 3,953,698 and a TIR of 75%; likewise, a Social VAN of S/

Diabetes is a silent disease that progressively worsen patient’s health and having has
main triggers following a poor diet and having a sedentary life. In Peru, there are more than 1
million people with Type 2 diabetes and another million that have not been diagnosed.
According to the Demographic and Family Health Survey (2016), 27% of the diagnosed
people do not respect the treatment. The panorama is heighten by the lack of qualified
personal and health care centers and the annual diagnosis of approximately 23,000 new cases
according to the Ministry of Health (2018). SARS-CoV-2 has also complicated the control of
diabetes, as it made it difficult to access medicines and glucose measuring instruments.
For this reason, after going through a process of Design Thinking and Lean Startup, a
digital ecosystem was developed for people with Type 2 diabetes; where they can obtain
personal nutritionists and specialized trainers services, find relevant information on diabetes,
acquire measuring instruments at a lower price and interact with a community. Thus, thriving
a robust and sustainable business model that generates value, with a financial NPV of
approximately S/.1'046,711 that has an investment return of 2.12 years, and with a social
NPV of S/. 5'240,447, which impacts positively on 18,250 people during the 5 years.
Likewise, the feasibility was validated with montecarlo test, obtaining as a result a
probability of success of 70.36%. It is important to mention that an average NPV S/. 579,746
with a TIR of 64.4% and a payback of 2.9 years, thus endorsing the sustainability of Miski ́s
business model.

mascotas a domicilio.
Cliente VIP - Very Important Pet.
According to INEI data (2021), the unemployment rate for women was 12.0%, 3.7
percentage points higher than the unemployment rate for men (8.3%). Therefore, we propose
a business solution that seeks to address one of the existing social problems in our country,
one that includes unemployed young women who are unable to meet their basic needs, and in
this way gradually reduce the existing gaps of gender inequality in the labor market.
This solution consists of a mobile application called Best Pet Forever, where
customers can purchase gift packs for their pets, including healthy and environmentally
friendly products. The activities will be developed by women who will benefit from a payroll,
continuous training, a good working environment, and collaborative workspaces; making it a
socially sustainable model due to the positive impact on their quality of life.
Our solution is innovative because it offers a new way of acquiring this type of
service, through a fast, intuitive, and safe process; moreover, it is disruptive because it
introduces activities of recycling and reusing pet fur, which will allow the client to achieve
the category of VIP Client - Very Important Pet. The sum of these impacts aligns with SDGs
8, 11 and 12. Finally, it is financially viable, as it starts with an initial investment of
S/502,650.00 and increases its sales volume and cash flow in a five-year projection, with an
NPV of S/4’130,630.00 and an IRR of 197.17%. In regard to Social NPV, the result is
S/4’053.813.

In this thesis we have developed the business project called Maestro al Toque, which is a
profitable solution that includes senior citizens dedicated to home services as key
collaborators and provides an app as a marketplace and training center. The pandemic
COVID 19 exposed the difficulties related to the lack of retirement plan and healthcare in
Peru of the senior citizens, in other words, people over 60 years old, who offer in-home
services since their youth in informal environments. Our idea is to provide them a new
chance of accessing decent and formal work (SDG 8) and with this, in turn, we would
contribute to reducing inequality (SDG 10). Because of this, we studied the development of
an app, supported by surveys to the working senior citizens and potential customers, that
brings them together, overcoming the technological gap through the telephone intermediation
and constant training. We propose to keep track of all the associates with the intention of
reaching a minimum of 70% of active associates after 1 year. In addition, we will offer
different alternatives until reaching at least 50% of payments digitally. In relation to
profitability, the NPV in the conservative scenario is 3.8 million soles for a period of 5 years
and the modified IRR for that period amounts to 78%; in the pessimistic scenario, the
recovery period is 3 years and the NPV is 1 million soles. On the other hand, the EBIDTA
coverage ratio is 4 to 5, which makes it attractive to obtain bank financing, for this a WACC
of 27% has been proposed.
The Social NPV is 42 million soles, meaning, ten times the returns of the shareholders, and
about the Target Specific Relevance Index (TRSI), our solution reaches 60% to the SDG 8
(decent and formal work) and 20% to the SDG 10 (reducing inequality).

inversionistas. / In Peru, the absence of food culture has become a great concern, since it leads to
diseases related to obesity and overweight, especially in children and adolescents. It was
identified that parents have limited options for preparing and sending nutritious lunches to
their children's schools, so they choose to send them processed foods, high in sugar and fat.
Mainly for three reasons: (a) they consider that more money is needed to prepare a nutritious
lunch, (b) they do not have the time required to cook and take lunches to school, and (c)
because it is easier for them to get junk food.
The solution proposes the development of a mobile application called Scoolanch,
which will allow parents to program the school lunches that their children will consume, in
addition these will be taken to the door of their school. These lunches will be designed by
nutritionists, and certified biodegradable containers suitable for direct contact with food will
also be used.
The purpose of the solution is to contribute to improving the nutritional health of
children and adolescents in the school stage, in addition to replacing the time that parents
spend preparing their children's lunches with time dedicated to improving the quality of
family life. This project directly influences SGD 3, 8 and 13, referring to "health and well-
being", "decent work and economic growth" and "climate action".
To evaluate the business model, various assumptions about the desirability of the
product were tested using a final prototype. In addition, after carrying out the financial
analysis, a NPV of S/ 4'202,172 was obtained, and an IRR of 225%, a percentage that is
higher than 15.12% of the WACC, likewise, a Social NPV of S/ 19'900,347 was obtained,
figures that validate the financial and social viability of the Scoolanch project for partners and
investors.
