Anotation Most available studies dedicated to the identity of Roms fail to give a sutisfactory reply to some questions given by the social reality. The reason why lies in the fact that they explore the Romany identity based on culture and culture border studies. This work based on the biographical research is mapping the identity of Roms from the point of view of the participants themselves and their experience. It is focused on factors playing an imortant role when creating and reproducing the Romany identity and when giving meanings to it by its bearers themselves. The work shows that even the absence of any shared culture and social relations in the frame of the broader community it is possible to consider an etnic Romany category since it is is presented as the category not only by the Roms themselves, but by the majority society, which has a real impact on everyday live of each individual who is classified as a Rom.

The subject of this diploma thesis is Cellini's literary work The Autobiography. Firstly, his profile is introduced within the cultural and historical context as well as the events that mostly influenced his artistic career. Secondly, other prominent biographers of his era are introduced and the most important issues of The Life as well as Cellini himself, as a unique exponent of Italian Cinquecento, are analyzed. In the next chapter The Life is confronted with The Lives of the Artists written by Giorgio Vasari, especially with the life of Michelangelo Buonarroti who was Cellini's lifelong teacher. Die vorliegende Diplomarbeit fragt danach, welche Bedeutung die subjektiven Rassismuserfahrungen für die Biografien betroffener Menschen haben, die in einer Gesellschaft mit einem rassistischen Differenzordnungssystem dominiert werden. Das machtvolle gesellschaftliche Phänomen des Rassismus wird als wechselseitiges Verhältnis von Gesellschaft und Subjekt aus einer rassismuskritischen Perspektive betrachtet. In einer subjektorientierten Herangehensweise wurden die Rassismuserfahrungen im Kontext von Biographie, Bildung und Subjektivierung untersucht. Dafür wurden biografische Interviews geführt und mithilfe des Konzepts der Modellierung und der Grounded Theory ausgewertet. Als Ergebnis wird die äußerst relevante Bedeutung von Rassismuserfahrungen für die Biografien der davon betroffenen Menschen herausgearbeitet. The submitted dissertation thesis focus on the role of biography in contemporary historical culture and on the possible ways of its conceptualization from the perspective of historiography. Historical biographies are traditional and successful form of historical writing both in academia and in popular culture. Moreover there is also a field of "theory of biography" which brings theoretical reflections of biographical writing. The goal of this thesis is to analyse the current state of biographical production and to offer appropriate conceptualization of this phenomenon. The dissertation gradually deals with following three fields. First, it describes and reflects key topics of existing theory of biography. The middle part of the text researches the contemporary biographical production. The sources for these two parts are at first theoretical texts written under the term "theory of biography" and then paratexts surrounding particular biographies. The part focus on the contemporary biographical production researches disputed biographies between the years 20009 - 2019, the regular production of biographical publishing series and particularly also the case study of the edition series The Legacy of the progressive personalities of our past (1961-1991). The main purpose of the present diploma thesis is to introduce the transgender identity as a newly emerging lifestyle and political activism of transpeople. Because the transgenderism has been formed in opposition to the dominant medical discourse of transsexuality, it is necessary to include the transsexual stand of view which transgender people are defining against. I regard the transsexuality and transgenderism as two different discourses forming new different identity categories, having specific impact on lives of people they are naming. I focus mainly on the impact of different concepts of sex, gender and sexuality on formation of specific shapes of these ideologies. In the empirical part, I am applying my mind on the narrative construction of transgender identity. Through some parts of interview with a person diagnosed with transsexuality, that has accepted the identity of a transgender in the course of his life, I try to mediate a more realistic and sculpturesque image of transgender/transsexual life, identity and sense of self.

This paper attempts to examine the different parts of a sports biography and which importance they are of in the making of a sports biography. The biography and the sports biography are examined and the parts biographical noteworthiness, authenticity, structure and successes and failures in a sports biography are highlighted and their roles in the sports biography are discussed for the purpose of offering a greater understanding for the sports biography.   Die vorliegende Examensarbeit untersucht die verschiedenen Komponenten einer Sportlerbiografie und welche Rolle die Komponenten beim Schreiben einer Sportlerbiografie spielen. Die Biografie und die Sportlerbiografie werden untersucht und die in einer Sportlerbiografie erscheinenden Komponenten Biografiewürdigkeit, Authentizität, Struktur und Erfolge und Misserfolge werden hervorgehoben und ihre Rollen in der Sportlerbiografie werden diskutiert, zum Zweck einem größeren Verständnis der Sportlerbiografie zu geben.

Was ist ein Leben? Kann man es knapp erzählen, etwa im Lexikonformat? Man hat es versucht, im 17. Jahrhundert etwa Louis Moréri in seinem 'Grand Dictionnaire Historique', der 1674 in der ersten Auflage und 1759 in der zehnten erschien. In dieser Zeitspanne publizierten auch in Deutschland mehrere Verleger, zumal in Leipzig, verstärkt biografische Lexika, von denen das größte paradoxerweise am wenigsten bekannt ist: Johann Heinrich Zedlers 'Großes vollständiges Universal-Lexicon' in 68 Folianten, ein völlig ungehobener Schatz biografischer Information.
