[pt] Este trabalho teve como objetivo abordar a sustentabilidade empresarial pelo viés das competências organizacionais e individuais, buscando identificar as competências necessárias para suportar o Plano de Sustentabilidade do Grupo EBX, - holding que concentra sua atuação nos setores de infraestrutura e recursos naturais - sob a visão dos profissionais da empresa, bem como sugerir estratégias de Recursos Humanos para apoiar o desenvolvimento e/ou manutenção destas competências. Para tal, foi realizada uma pesquisa qualitativa, utilizando-se entrevistas abertas e um questionário fechado com os profissionais da área de Sustentabilidade. O conteúdo das entrevistas foi categorizado e analisado assim como os resultados dos questionários para posterior discussão com os profissionais da área de Recursos Humanos com o objetivo de se estabelecer ações estratégicas de recursos humanos, englobando a visão desses sujeitos. Como resultado da pesquisa, foram identificadas competências anteriormente previstas pela literatura e pelo modelo de competências do Grupo e de seu Plano de Sustentabilidade, e também, foram identificadas novas competências. Além disso, foi identificado o papel da área de Recursos Humanos no apoio à formação da cultura e valores da organização, e identificadas possíveis implicações estratégicas para a área de Recursos Humanos para o apoio ao desenvolvimento e manutenção dessas competências, objetivando também um maior alinhamento estratégico entre as áreas de Recursos Humanos e Sustentabilidade. / [en] This research approaches Corporate Sustainability by the individual and organizational competencies perspective. The main objectives were to identify the necessary competencies to support the EBX Group s – holding that focuses its activities in the infra-structure and natural resources sectors - Sustainability Plan, by capacitating the company s employees, as well as suggesting Human Resources strategies to support the development and maintenance of these competencies. For this purpose, a qualitative research was conducted. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews and the application of a questionnaire to Sustainability professionals. The content of the interviews was categorized and analyzed as well as the results of the questionnaires, to be use in following discussions with Human Resources professionals, aiming the establishment of Human Resources strategic actions embracing their points of view. As a result, competencies provided by the literature, by the EBX s competencies model and its Sustainability Plan and also new competencies were identified. Furthermore, it was identified the Human Resources role on shaping the organizational culture, values and strategic implications to support sustainability competencies development and maintenance, aiming a greater strategic alignment between Human Resources and Sustainability areas.

Title: Testing of motor competencies of 6th grade elementary school students using the MOBAK test Objectives: The aim of this work was to analyze the level of motor competencies of 6th graders using a MOBAK 5-6 test battery. Based on the analysis of the obtained results, the aim was to identify shortcomings and suggest the possibility of positive influence in school practice. At the same time, the aim was to verify the suitability of this test battery in school physical education. Methods: The research group consisted of a total of 144 students in the 6th grade of primary school (81 boys and 63 girls). Test results were obtained using 8 MOBAK motor tests (category 5-6). The first 4 tests form the category Movement with an object and the next 4 tests form the category Self-movement. The test results themselves were supplemented by data obtained by the method of questioning. Students' parents filled in questionnaires about their children's sports activities. Students were divided into groups according to gender, leisure activities and sports activities with their parents, and within this division their results were compared. La valoración del capital humano contrasta la manera habitual de evaluar el rendimiento de las personas en las organizaciones, tomando en cuenta las diversas opiniones de los autores que han realizado estudios referentes al tema. Por ello, se propone un mínimo de criterios, generalmente aceptados, para calificar al capital humano a nivel corporativo según las necesidades de información requeridas por las empresas. De esta manera, se pretende generar una ventaja competitiva en un contexto altamente dinámico que, en la actualidad, prioriza el conocimiento y habilidades blandas, sustentándolas a través de indicadores que permitan tomar las mejores decisiones de gestión. Este estudio contiene una amplia investigación que analiza los factores más importantes que repercuten en el desempeño de las personas dentro de las organizaciones. Se estableció seis criterios que sirvieron como guía del desarrollo de este trabajo, tomando en cuenta que el entorno laboral es muy competitivo y requiere que las empresas revisen permanentemente sus procesos mediante el desarrollo de metodologías adecuadas, favoreciendo la capacidad creativa de las personas y, en consecuencia, su aprendizaje. La literatura indica que no hay un acuerdo universal para determinar los factores que evalúen íntegramente la capacidad productiva de las personas, es decir, existen diversas propuestas para medir el capital humano según el sector del mercado en el que compite la organización, por lo que no es posible calificar la gestión del capital humano con un solo criterio. En términos generales, esta investigación está orientada a buscar aquellos aspectos en común que conlleven a evaluar de manera unánime el rendimiento humano, ya que permite identificar a aquellos colaboradores que poseen un alto potencial como próximos generadores de valor, independientemente de la organización en la que se encuentren. Asimismo, estas cualidades pueden potenciarse permanentemente a través de capacitaciones que incluyan diversos programas formativos con la finalidad de contar con un personal debidamente calificado. / The valuation of human capital is based on the usual way of evaluating the performance of people in organizations. Therefore, a minimum of criteria, generally accepted, is proposed to qualify human capital at corporate level according to the information needs required by companies. In this way, it is intended to generate a competitive advantage in a highly dynamic context that, at present, prioritizes knowledge and soft skills, supporting them through indicators that respond to the best management decisions. This study contains an extensive research that analyzes the most important factors that affect the performance of people within organizations. Six criteria were established that served as a guide for the development of this work, taking into account that the work environment is very competitive and requires companies to permanently review their processes through the development of appropriate methodologies, favoring the creative capacity of people and, consequently, their learning. The literature indicates that there is no universal agreement to determine the factors that are fully evaluated the production capacity of people, that is, there are many possibilities to measure human capital according to the sector of the market in which the organization competes, so that it is not possible to qualify the management of human capital with only one criterion. In general terms, this research is oriented to look for those aspects in common that lead to universally evaluate the performance of human resources, since it allows to identify those collaborators with high potential that will be generators of value, independently of their organizations. The diploma thesis is about the current problem of the lack of nurses, in particular general, children and practical nurses in the environment of the Czech health care. In the introduction of the theoretical part, there is an overall view of the current lack of workers in these professions and the consequences that this deficit brings to the Czech hospitals. Furthermore, the theoretical part is about several topics that are generally identified as causes of the lack of interest in this profession due to the lack of nurses. These are especially the issues of education of nurses, salaries and also the prestige of a nurse's profession. The area of competence in nursing professions is elaborated as a supplement chapter, to the overall view of current issues. The empirical part includes eleven interviews with nurses in senior positions (ward and head nurses in hospitals), the topics of which are processed in the theoretical part. The interviews were processed as thematic analysis with the help of open coding. Particularly, data obtained from a discussion group of nurses on social networks was used to illustrate the situation. The rapid development of the intensive care medicine with a large amount of highly specific information requires sufficiently educated nurses in the field. A nurse anesthetist is a nurse working in intensive care with a focus on anesthesiology. She provides highly specialized nursing care to patients during the course of general or local anesthesia. The work is divided into two parts, a theoretical part and a practical part. The theoretical part focuses on the development of anesthesiology and intensive care medicine. It also focuses on the education of nurses. The education of nurses is summarised from historical beginnings to the present time. This part also includes new requirements for the education of non-medical medical staff and the current supporting legislation. Higher education for intensive care is also mentioned. The next chapter of the theoretical part focuses on the competencies of nurses in anesthesiology and intensive care medicine. The practical part includes interviews with six nurses. Three interviews were conducted with nurses that witnessed the beginnings of the field of anesthesiology as we know it nowadays. During the last decades, a shifting paradigm has occurred in the classroom in connection to the technological evolution. Due to digitalization a student in Sweden can discuss with a counterpart on the other side of the globe. The aim of this study is to examine how the role of telecollaboration has been researched in a primary school context. The study will include several methods that could benefit the use of virtual exchange projects. This investigation will briefly explain the terminology and history behind telecollaboration and how it can be used in a modern classroom environment. An explanation on how the findings have been explored will be included in the methodology component. Thereafter, the study will present the research from the chosen articles connected to the aim and research question. The presented research will further be compared and connected to each other. In the following component, the data found will be connected back to the theoretical hypothesis mentioned in the introduction as well as the Swedish syllabus for English education in the primary school. The implications from investigating this subject were due to the lack of thoroughly conducted research on younger participants, the outcome rendered inadequate. An evidence on the insufficiency was that hardly any prior investigations used control groups to validate their findings.

Komunikace mezi vyučujícími a rodiči / Collaboration of teachers and parents

The subject of this thesis is teacher-parent communication and cooperation with school management within this communication. The research took place in two Prague schools, high school and grammar school. Qualitative methods were applied for the analysis. Data were acquired via in-depth interviews with six teachers and two school psychologists. The main goal of the empirical research was to map how teachers perceive communication with parents and assess cooperation with school management in this communication. The results of the analysis suggest that there are many similar elements in teacher-parent communication. The communication usually takes place during formal class meetings with parents and via group e- mails. In case of problems teachers contact parents by phone or meet them individually in person. The variability in the category content of one teacher and in the frequency profile of the other teacher seems to be closely related to the risks associated with communication. One of the risks is crossing the boundaries of school competence by parents. In the latter case, there was a vague delineation of boundaries and the confluence of school and family competences. Method: The study follows qualitative analysis and the data was collected by conducting seven semi-structured online interviews with managers working at Ericsson's headquarters office in Stockholm. The thematic analysis approach is used which resulted in five themes: digital transformation, remote working, implications, competence development, and managerial practices. Conclusion: This study concludes with managers’ perspectives that Ericsson has successfully undertaken the digital transformation and remote working during the pandemic. Identifying hidden costs of the process helped the company to adapt its competence development and managerial practices.

Syftet med denna studie har varit att bidra med information om hur en mindre grupp gymnasister anser att distansundervisning har innehållit meningsfulla undervisningsmoment, som sin tur har gynnat deras möjligheter för kunskap- och färdighetsutveckling. Därtill har studien försökt avgöra om enkätens resultat kan antyda till att samma gymnasister har tagit del av gynnsam förmedling av medborgarkompetenser som anses viktiga för möjligheten till aktivt samhällsdeltagande. För att undersöka detta har studien genomfört en enkätundersökning med 147 gymnasister, varav samtliga har studerat samhällskunskap genom distansundervisning under perioden mars 2020 till april 2021. Enkätundersökningens resultat har därefter analyserats genom studiens analytiska verktyg, som i sin tur har hjälp att besvara studiens frågeställningar Resultaten visar att en majoritet av respondenterna kan ha tagit del av undervisningsaspekter som antyder till meningsfull undervisning, medan en tydlig minoritet anser motsatsen. Dock visar resultatet även på motsägande aspekter, exempelvis att distansundervisning även har bidragit till ett ökat fokus på att nå kunskapskrav istället för utvecklandet av kunskaper och färdigheter. Resultaten visar även att en majoritet av elever antyder till att de har tagit del av kunskaps- och färdighetsutvecklande undervisning som kan bidra till utvecklandet av medborgarkompetenser. Resultatet bidrar dessutom med uppfattningen om att distansundervisning i ämnet samhällskunskap har haft varierande framgångar i förmedlandet av medborgarkompetenser som kan kopplas till utvecklandet av intresse- och ökat engagemang för politiska- och samhällsrelaterade frågor. / The purpose of this study has been to contribute information about how a small group of upper secondary school students consider that distance education has included meaningful teaching moments, which in turn have favoured their opportunities for knowledge and skill development. In addition, the study has tried to determine whether the survey’s results can imply that the same students have taken part of favourable intermediation of civic competences which are considered important for the possibility of active participation in society. To investigate this, the study has conducted a survey with 147 upper secondary school students, of which all have studied social studies through distance education during the period of March 2020 to April 2021. The results of the study where then analysed through this study´s analytical instrument, which in turn has aided answering this study’s research questions.  The results show that a majority of the respondents may have taken part of teaching aspects that implies to meaningful education, while a minority consider the opposite. However, the results also show contradictory aspects, for example that distance education also has contributed to an increased focus on reaching knowledge requirements instead of the development of knowledge and skills. The results also show that a majority of students imply that they have taken part of knowledge and skills developing education that can contribute to the development of civic competences. Additionally, the results also contribute to the notion that distance education in the subject of social studies has had varying degrees of success concerning mediation of civic competences which can be connected to the development of interest and increased commitment in political and societal issues.

In the context of this work the central bodies are the President of the United States as the head of the executive branch, bicameral Congress, consisting of the House of Representatives and the Senate, as the major body of the legislative branch and the Supreme Court as the major body of the judicial branch. The aim of this work was to analyze how these bodies function and their position within the constitutional system of the United States, both horizontally and vertically. The first part of the thesis deals with the circumstances of the establishment of the United States of America, the adoption of the Declaration of Independence and the end of the American War of Independence.
