Liderazgo y transformación en una organización publica de salud

Tesis de grado para optar al grado de MAGÍSTER EN GESTIÓN DE PERSONAS Y DINÁMICA ORGANIZACIONAL / Las organizaciones vivencian diferentes transformaciones a lo largo de su historia, las cuales han sido motivadas por personas o por situaciones que han obligado a tomar las decisiones de cambios. En esta investigación interesa poder establecer y explicar que ocurre en el ámbito social de una institución cuando ve el cambio manifestarse y que papel cumplen los líderes en la motivación de sus seguidores para que este cambio se produzca. Esta investigación se centra en los procesos de liderazgo que vive una organización de salud, la cual su grupo objetivo son los adultos mayores, los cuales atiende; para esto se debe entender que el liderazgo es un concepto relativamente nuevo dentro de las organizaciones y que no siempre esta función la cumplen los directivos. El liderazgo es un mecanismo que moviliza a la acción y a la consecución de objetivos y en definitiva se desea lograr establecer como este proceso provoca los cambios organizacionales que la institución necesita para lograr objetivos en común. Dado lo anterior es que esta investigación se centra en estudiar el proceso de liderazgo del Instituto Nacional de Geriatría Eduardo Frei Montalva (INGER), ya que desde esta manera se explica como a lo largo de su historia ha podido mantenerse y evolucionar, generando estos cambios necesarios para su subsistencia. Esta investigación se propone estudiar los procesos relacionados al liderazgo y cómo estos afectan al cambio organizacional en el INGER. En otras palabras, se apunta a explorar las dinámicas organizacionales que guían el proceso de cambio, y la forma en que el líder ejerce la influencia necesaria para poder sostener este proceso. El documento está compuesto por 5 capítulos, en el primero se encuentra el Marco Teórico, en donde se muestran las teorías que sustentan la investigación, para ello, en primera instancia, se explica la Teoría Organizacional, de aquello interesa conocer cuáles son las dinámicas que pueden aparecer en una organización y desde esta mirada centrarse en la teoría de burocracia profesional, ya que esta investigación está basada en una organización de salud. Luego, en el mismo capítulo, la Función del directivo, ya que interesa conocer cómo el liderazgo de la figura del directivo ha influido en la organización, en su evolución a lo largo de su historia, esto desde la perspectiva de como este liderazgo desarrolla la estrategia de la organización y como hace que esta idea de la organización en la mente la lleva a cabo, es decir moviliza a la acción a su personal. En esta investigación también interesa conocer cómo se configura el liderazgo en una organización por lo que, como parte del Marco Teórico, se revisarán conceptos sobre poder y autoridad, características que definen al líder, cómo influyen en sus seguidores y los factores situacionales que definen la forma que se ejerce el liderazgo y cómo influye la personalidad del líder a sus seguidores. Luego, en el capítulo 3, se presenta la metodología, en la cual se describe la teoría científica de la investigación en Ciencias Sociales, por consiguiente, la orientación está en la investigación cualitativa, luego se explica el diseño de investigación, objetivos, identificación del problema, definición de la metodología a utilizar, recolección de datos, análisis de datos y el alcance de la investigación. Posteriormente, en el capítulo 4, la presentación de resultados explicará los resultados obtenidos en la investigación, ésta constará de dos partes, Análisis de la Historia Organizacional del INGER y La Historia Biográfica de la Directora del INGER. Finalmente, en el último capítulo, se exponen las conclusiones, se revisan los principales aprendizajes de esta investigación, el cumplimiento de cada uno de los objetivos propuestos y se entregan algunos comentarios y consideraciones finales.

The eye witnesses against MacArthur were members of the Truman Administration. Acheson and Marshall were the principal critics of MacArthur’s stand. Secretary Acheson testified that MacArthur had done a fine job in Japan and our allies agreed without policy there. Acheson replied to the alleged lack of policy by making a distinction between our policy and our war aims. Our policy in Korea looked to a unified, independent democratic government, but our war aim was to stop the attack on South Korea. Regarding the proposal that the United States take unilateral action if our allies did not support us, he said that our collective-security system could not survive if we took action other members of the system disapproved. He opposed the use of Nationalist troops on the grounds that it would weaken the defense of Formosa, and was complicated by other nations fighting in Korea that did not recognize the Nationalist Government. Finally Acheson denied that MacArthur was not allowed to issue battle communiques on the real military situation in Korea. However he felt that the General’s release of March 20 concerning truce negotiations gave the impression that the United States was speaking with two voices. Secretary of Defense George Marshall has a military point of view and at the same time a global picture of the situation. He believed that the Nationalist forces would not be effective in Korea. He testified that MacArthur’s removal was necessitated by his public disagreement with the foreign and defense policies of the United States. He made it clear that MacArthur had not violated any military policy, but he had made public his disagreement with it to such a degree that it interfered with the carrying out of that policy. All of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Marshall testified, concurred in the relief of General MacArthur. General Bradley’s testimony was probably the most damaging to MacArthur. The principal point bought out by Bradeley was that MacArthur’s strategy would involve us in the wrong war, at the wrong place, at the wrong time, and with the wrong enemy. He pointed out that we also had sanctuary since the Chinese did not bomb out ports and supply bases. He felt that a blockade would involve the ports of Hong Kong and Dairen, and therefore would not be tenable. Furthermore, MacArthur was not in agreement with the decision to limit the conflict to Korea, and his actions, Bradeley said, jeopardized the civilian control of the military authorities. Both Generals Breadeley and Collins agreed that they would have to resign and speak out in case they were involved in a conflict in which duty and the best interest of the country could not be reconciled.

This project analyzes three documentaries that explore the inherent tensions and difficulties in building a sense of community in three different settings in Rio de Janeiro. The documentaries Boca de Lixo (1993), Santo forte (1999), and Edifí­cio Master (2002) by Eduardo Coutinho present an in-depth look at the tensions inherent in developing communal identity based on vocation in Boca de Lixo, religion in Santo forte, and location in Edifício Master. Through these documentaries, Eduardo Coutinho presents the difficulties faced by different groups of people in Brazil as they explore the development of a sense of community. Boca de Lixo endeavors to understand the tension between using a sense of community to bolster one's self-respect and personal pride in the face of perceived outsider contempt. Santo forte addresses the problems associated with establishing a sense of community in a favela that contains various different religious traditions, each vying for more members at the cost of the others. Edifí­cio Master focuses on the difficulties of developing a sense of community within an apartment building in Copacabana, and in this film Coutinho explores the power of storytelling as an alternative method for creating communal identity. Together these three films examine the resiliency of the human spirit while challenging various forms of prejudice and stereotypes within Brazilian culture.

Tesis por compendio / In this paper, we go deeper into the knowledge of Valencian and Spanish music through the multifaceted figure of the composer, musicologist and Valencian critic Eduardo López-Chavarri Marco, mainly, from his piano work. In his almost 100 years of existence, López-Chavarri explored severals artistic fields and became interested in several musical trends, to which he contributed in a very outstanding way with a large number of works, many of them with the presence of pianoforte. Hence, within its extensive creation, the piano repertoire offers us an example of some of the different styles that happened all along the 20th century. This thesis will focus and analyze his work with this instrument, although we shall also be discussing an overview of his whole work. Specifically, we will refer to the twenty originals and complete piano compositions. Some of them belong to a series or a cycle, although they have been popularized independently, especially by their outstanding students. From the analysis of Eduardo López-Chavarri Marco's personality and from the study of a selection of his compositions, especially those of piano solo, it has been observed that his music is constructed from a strong burden of popular elements that represent in a perfect way its Valencian character and style. All this, in accordance with the nationalistic and impressionistic musical tendency that prevailed in Spain and Europe with figures such as Manuel de Falla, Enrique Granados or Maurice Ravel, among others. Furthermore, his activity in several fields was a turning point or paradigm which was followed by subsequent Valencian composers. / En el presente trabajo, profundizamos en el conocimiento de la música valenciana y española a través de la multifacética figura del compositor, musicólogo y crítico valenciano, por citar sólo tres de sus muchas actividades, de Eduardo López-Chavarri Marco, a partir, fundamentalmente, de su obra para piano. En sus casi 100 años de vida, López-Chavarri hizo incursiones en varios campos artísticos y se interesó por varias corrientes musicales, a las que contribuyó, de forma muy destacada, con un gran número de obras, muchas de las cuales, cuentan con la presencia del piano. Así, dentro de su amplia creación, el repertorio pianístico nos ofrece una muestra de algunos de los diferentes estilos que se suceden a lo largo del siglo XX. Esta tesis se centrará y analizará, principalmente, su obra con este instrumento, aunque también trataremos una panorámica del conjunto de su producción. Concretamente, nos referiremos a las veinte composiciones, originales y completas para piano. Algunas de ellas pertenecen a una serie o un ciclo, aunque hayan sido popularizadas de forma independiente, sobre todo por sus destacados alumnos. Del análisis de la personalidad de Eduardo López-Chavarri Marco y del estudio de una selección de sus composiciones, especialmente, las de piano solo, se ha podido observar que su música está construida a partir de una fuerte carga de elementos populares que representan, de forma perfecta, su carácter y estilo valencianos. Todo ello, en consonancia con la tendencia musical nacionalista e impresionista que imperaba tanto en España como en Europa, con figuras como Manuel de Falla, Enrique Granados o Maurice Ravel, entre otros. Así mismo, su actividad en varios campos representó un punto de inflexión o paradigma que fue seguido por compositores posteriores valencianos. / En el present treball, aprofundim en el coneixement de la música valenciana i espanyola a través de la multifacètica figura del compositor, musicòleg i crític valencià, per citar només tres de les seves moltes activitats, d' Eduardo López-Chavarri Marco, a partir, fonamentalment, de la seua obra per a piano. En els seus quasi 100 anys de vida, López-Chavarri va fer incursions en diversos camps artístics i es va interessar per diversos corrents musicals, a les que va contribuir, de manera molt destacada, amb un gran nombre d'obres, moltes de les quals, compten amb la presència del piano. Així, dins de la seua àmplia creació, el repertori pianístic ens ofereix una mostra d'alguns dels diferents estils que se succeeixen al llarg del segle XX. Aquesta tesi es centrarà i analitzarà, principalment, la seva obra amb aquest instrument, encara que també tractarem una panoràmica del conjunt de la seua producció. Concretament, ens referirem a les vint composicions, originals i completes per a piano. Algunes d'elles pertanyen a una sèrie o un cicle, encara que hagin estat popularitzades de forma independent, sobretot pels seus destacats alumnes. O samba em arranjos para coral: três olhares sobre a cidade de São Paulo / The samba in arrangements for choral: three ways of seeing the city of São Paulo

A dissertação tem como objetivo apresentar o estudo dos elementos rítmicos do samba e propor uma forma de escrita desse gênero para coro. Apresentamos a análise de sambas de compositores paulistas, a elaboração de arranjos corais para três obras selecionadas e a leitura e apresentação dos arranjos por coros com diversos perfis, domínios musicais e níveis de performance. Os autores representantes do samba paulista selecionados foram: Adoniran Barbosa, Eduardo Gudin e Paulo Vanzolini. Depoimentos, entrevistas e outros meios foram utilizados para contextualizar vida e obra dos compositores durante os processos de análise e de idealização dos arranjos. As análises foram ancoradas no Referencial Silva Ramos de Análise de Obras Corais, método de análise criado por Marco Antonio da Silva Ramos. Os arranjos a quatro ou mais vozes foram elaborados com a utilização das características do gênero samba, procurando clareza estilística para que o chamado \"balanço\" possa acontecer sem a utilização de instrumentos de percussão ou acompanhamento: um samba a capela. Os arranjos foram lidos pelos coros comunitários e de estudantes de música do Comunicantus - Laboratório Coral do Departamento de Música da ECA/USP. As partituras estão apresentadas em um Caderno com dezoito arranjos (quinze deles escritos entre 2016 e 2018). O processo de criação dos três arranjos principais foi documentado em um Diário de bordo, que dialoga com os processos analíticos e os dados da pesquisa no decorrer do trabalho. / The purpose of the masters dissertation is to present the study of the rhythimic elements of samba and to propose a writing way of this genre for choir. We present the analysis of sambas by São Paulo composers, the elaboration of coral arrangements for three selected works and the reading and presentation of the arrangements by choirs with different profiles, musical skills and levels of performance.The selected authors that represent the samba from São Paulo are: Adoniran Barbosa, Eduardo Gudin e Paulo Vanzolini. Interviews, testimonials and other ways were used to contextualize the composers\' life and work during the process of analysis and creation of the arrangements.The analysis procedures were based on Referencial Silva Ramos de Análise de Obras Corais, analysis method created by Marco Antonio da Silva Ramos. The arrangements to four or more voices were elaborated by means of the characteristics of samba genre, seeking stylistic clarity to enable the so called \"balanço\" (swing) can occur without the usage of percussion or instrumental accompaniment: a \"samba a capela\". The arrangements were read by the community choirs and music students choirs from Comunicantus: Laboratório Coral do Departamento de Música da ECA/USP (Choral Laboratory of the Dept. of Music - ECA-USP). The scores are presented in a songbook with eighteen arrangements (most of them wrote between 2016 and 2018).The process of creating the three main arrangements was documented in a logbook that alternates the analytical processes and the research data, throughout the work.

Esse estudo trata de seis variações do preto na pintura. O trabalho apresenta telas de Edouard Manet, Vincent van Gogh, Henry Matisse, Iberê Camargo, Eduardo Sued e Pierre Soulages. A pesquisa das obras e procedimentos poéticos desses pintores visa a indicar para diversas maneiras como o preto, não mais usado para o sombreado, se transforma em áreas de cor e como esses campos cromáticos atuam nas pinturas. A análise mostra que a cor preta, na qual há variações de tonalidade e saturação, pode ser usada como um meio de tensão cromática na superfície pictórica, como um elemento expressivo, ou para criar uma nova espacialidade para além do plano do quadro. Vale a pena notar que esses usos não são mutuamente exclusivos e, por exemplo, o preto que cria a tensão cromática pode ser expressivo e criar uma nova espacialidade. / This essay deals with six variations of black in painting. Reaserch on the production and poetic procedures by Eduoard Manet, Vincent van Gogh, Henry Matisse, Iberê Camargo, Eduardo Sued and Pierre Soulages, indicates several manners where black, contrary to its use as a shadowing component, transforms itself in areas of color. The manner in which the cromatic fields act upon the painting is analised and show that the color black, with its variations in tone and depth, may be used as an element of expession; as a means for chromatic tension over the pictures surface or for the production of a new spaciality beyond its surface. These uses are not mutually exclusive and, as where black creates chromatic tension, it may also be expressive and generate a new spaciality.

Este trabalho examina os estudos literários que se seguem, publicados em meados de 1970: A perversão do trapezista: o romance em Cornélio Penna (1976), de Luiz Costa Lima; Verso Universo em Drummond (1975) de José Guilherme Merquior; Ao vencedor as batatas (1977), de Roberto Schwarz; Fundamentos da investigação literária (1974), de Eduardo Portella e Carlos Drummond de Andrade (1976) de Silviano Santiago. Nosso objetivo é investigar de que modo a produção do conhecimento sobre literatura e a produção do valor literário se deram nesses trabalhos, bem como indicar algumas transformações no campo literário naquele período. / This academic work examine the literary studies that follows, all published in the mid-1970s: A perversão do trapezista: o romance em Cornélio Penna (1976), by Luiz Costa Lima; Verso Universo em Drummond (1975), by José Guilherme Merquior; Ao vencedor as batatas (1977), by Roberto Schwarz; Fundamentos da investigação literária (1974), by Eduardo Portella e Carlos Drummond de Andrade (1976), by Silviano Santiago.
