Os estudantes universitários são um público mais propenso ao empreendedorismo por oportunidade, pois têm mais acesso a conhecimentos que a maioria da população. A educação empreendedora tem evoluído enquanto campo de pesquisa, trazendo evidências de que é possível desenvolver a intenção e as competências para empreender por meio do ensino formal. Diante desse contexto, a presente pesquisa teve como objetivo a elaboração de uma proposta de programa de educação empreendedora adequado ao contexto universitário brasileiro. Para tanto, utilizou-se a UFJF como um piloto para a aplicação dos questionários de diagnóstico e para a elaboração da proposta de programa. Foram aplicados 545 questionários junto a estudantes das áreas de (i) Engenharias, Tecnologias, Ciências Exatas e da Terra, (ii) Ciências Sociais Aplicadas, (iii) Ciências Humanas e Sociais e (iv) Ciências Biológicas e da Saúde. A análise dos dados coletados resultou na identificação de 4 fatores subjacentes ao construto da intenção empreendedora e 8 fatores subjacentes ao construto das competências empreendedoras. Verificou-se que a intenção de empreender e as competências empreendedoras estão mais presentes áreas (i) e (ii), tradicionalmente mais próximas ao mundo dos negócios. Além disso, observou-se uma predileção e uma maior crença na capacidade de empreender entre os homens do que nas mulheres. Com base na pesquisa primária realizada e na revisão da literatura, elaborou-se uma proposta de programa de educação empreendedora no contexto universitário, composto por 3 disciplinas que, oferecidas de maneira integrada, acredita-se que possam desenvolver a intenção e as competências empreendedoras dos estudantes. Entendendo que tanto as áreas de humanas e biológicas quanto as mulheres têm a contribuir para o desenvolvimento do empreendedorismo na UFJF e no Brasil, o programa proposto buscou incluir ações que contemplem esses públicos. / Different studies have pointed to the correlation between entrepreneurship by opportunity and the economic growth of a country. University students are a public more prone to entrepreneurship for opportunity, as they have more access to knowledge than most of the population. Entrepreneurial education has evolved as a field of research, bringing evidence that it is possible to develop the intention and skills to undertake through formal education. In this context, this research aimed to prepare a proposal for an entrepreneurial education program suitable for the Brazilian university context. For this purpose, UFJF was used as a pilot for the application of diagnostic questionnaires and for the elaboration of the program proposal. 545 questionnaires were applied to students in the areas of (i) Engineering, Technologies, and Exact Sciences, (ii) Applied Social Sciences, (iii) Humanities and Social Sciences and (iv) Biological and Health Sciences. The analysis of the data collected resulted in the identification of 4 factors underlying the construct of entrepreneurial intent and 8 factors underlying the construct of entrepreneurial skills. It was found that the intention to undertake and entrepreneurial skills are more present areas (i) and (ii), traditionally closest to the business world. Moreover, there was a predilection and a greater belief in the ability to undertake among men than in women. Based on the primary research carried out and the revision of the literature, a proposal for an entrepreneurial education program in the university context was elaborated, consisting of 3 disciplines that, offered in an integrated way, are believed to develop the student’s intention and entrepreneurial skills. Understanding that both human and biological areas and women can contribute to the development of entrepreneurship in UFJF and Brazil, the proposed program sought to include actions that contemplate these audiences.

L’évolution de l’intention et le développement de l’esprit d’entreprendre des élèves ingénieurs d’une école française : une étude longitudinale / The development of entrepreneurial intentions and entrepreneurial spirit : a longitudinal study in the case of engineering students in a French Grande Ecole

L’engagement dans la création d’entreprise est un évènement rare et tardif chez les ingénieurs français. Pour changer cette situation et former davantage des ingénieurs-entrepreneurs, nous étudions l’impact de la formation dans une grande école d’ingénieurs en France. La problématique s’inscrit dans le cadre théorique du comportement planifié complété par la théorie de la carrière entrepreneuriale et la notion d’esprit d’entreprendre. Nous avons suivi une approche longitudinale afin d’étudier l’évolution des intentions et de la construction des identités professionnelles ainsi que les comportements observables associés au cours de leur formation. La thèse s’appuie sur un questionnaire posé chaque année au cours du curriculum et des entretiens semi-directifs en fin de cursus auprès des élèves ingénieurs. Elle aboutit à l’identification de plusieurs identités professionnelles d’ingénieurs (ingénieur technique, manager, entrepreneur) et la caractérisation de la trajectoire de l’intention qui mène au choix de carrière entrepreneuriale. L’impact des facteurs socioculturels, scolaires et extrascolaires sur la trajectoire de l’intention a été modélisé. Il permet d’expliquer la construction de chaque identité professionnelle / Although many researchers point out the emergence of new generations of engineers, the traditional model of the French engineer remains reluctant to entrepreneurship, few engineers are moving towards entrepreneurial careers and they do it rather late in their career. To reverse this trend and train more entrepreneurial engineers, we study educational impact of an engineering Grande Ecole in France. Drawing on the theory of planned behaviour completed by the theory of entrepreneurial career and the notion of entrepreneurial spirit, we use a longitudinal approach to measure the evolution of intention, together with the construction of professional identities and observable behaviours of students during their school years. This study is based on a longitudinal survey completed each year by engineering students and semi-structured interviews with them at the end of the curriculum. The findings include the identification of three engineering professional identities (technical engineer, manager, and entrepreneur) and the definition of the entrepreneurial intention trajectory Leading to entrepreneurial career choice. The impacts of socio-cultural, pedagogical and extra curriculum factors on the trajectory of intention have been modelled. They can explain the building up process of each engineering professional identity

Com o intuito de buscar compreender o quanto a ligação do indivíduo com a empresa em que trabalha, pode influenciar as intenções empreendedoras destes indivíduos. Este estudo é caracterizado como explicativo, através do método survey, com um questionário como instrumento de pesquisa. O questionário utilizou dois modelos já consolidados no âmbito acadêmico: o modelo do entrincheiramento organizacional de Rodrigues e Bastos (2015) e o modelo de intenção empreendedora de Kristiansen e Indarti (2004), além de coletar informações pessoais e sobre a trajetória ocupacional e atual dos indivíduos participantes do estudo. Com isso, identificou-se que a ligação das dimensões do entrincheiramento organizacional se relaciona em 5,4% com a intenção empreendedora, ou seja, parte do perfil de intenção empreendedora é afetado pelo fato de o indivíduo estar entrincheirado à empresa em que trabalha. Especialmente no que se refere à percepção do indivíduo sobre limitação de alternativas. Demonstrando que ao perceber-se um profissional desejado no mercado de trabalho, levando em consideração o desligamento da empresa atual, o indivíduo potencializa sua capacidade empreendedora. De maneira geral, 61,45% dos respondentes dizem que tem intenção de empreender e apresentam um médio entrincheiramento organizacional. Identificou-se também que os indivíduos que são responsáveis pela renda familiar e que possuem filhos acreditam que suas atitudes determinam o sucesso nas suas execuções, contrariando os demais respondentes. Já os respondentes que tem de 11 a 20 anos de atuação do mercado de trabalho afirmam ter mais estrutura para iniciar seu empreendimento do que os demais. Ou seja, responsabilidade familiar e experiência profissional são itens que geram nos indivíduos diferença na percepção sobre oportunidade de empreender e também na relação que estabelecem com a empresa onde atuam. Conjuntamente com isso, foi possível constatar que os níveis de entrincheiramento organizacional apresentam uma média maior junto às cidades fora da capital do estado. Dado que pode ser explicado pela diferença de oferta de emprego entre a região metropolitana e o restante do estado, muito também por conta do tamanho populacional e consequente desenvolvimento. Este estudo trouxe uma perspectiva distinta das trabalhadas na linha organizacional e nos estudos de intenção empreendedora, pois indica que a ligação que o indivíduo tem com a empresa que atua, não se relaciona diretamente com àqueles que pretendem empreender. Os resultados aqui obtidos podem ser utilizados como base para novos estudos com as temáticas, na qual haja um aprofundamento de pontos interferem. / The aim of this dissertation is to investigate the relationships established between the entrepreneurial intentions of the individual and their level of organizational entrenchment with the startups and companies of Information Technology in the State of Rio Grande do Sul. The research also aims to understand how the connection of the individual and the organization in which he works, can influence the entrepreneurial intentions of these individuals. This study is characterized as explanatory, through the survey method, with a questionnaire as a research tool. The questionnaire uses two models already consolidated in the academic scope: the organizational entrenchment model of Rodrigues and Bastos (2015) and the entrepreneurial intention model of Kristiansen and Indarti (2004), besides collecting personal information and data about the current and occupational trajectory of the study participants. Thus, it was identified that the connection of the dimensions of the organizational entrenchment is related to 5.4% with the entrepreneurial intention, that is, part of the profile of entrepreneurial intention is affected by the fact that the individual is entrenched in the organization in which he works, especially regarding the individual's perception of the alternatives limitation, demonstrating that when perceiving a desired professional in the labor market, taking into account the disconnection of the current organization, the individual enhances his entrepreneurial capacity. As an overall, 61.45% of respondents say that they intend to undertake and present an organizational midfielder. It was also identified that individuals who are in charge of their family income and who have children, believe that their attitudes determine success in their executions, contrary to the other respondents. Respondents who have 11 to 20 years of work in the labor market say they have more structure to start their enterprise than the others. This means that family responsibility and professional experience are items that generate in individuals a difference in the perception about the opportunity to undertake and also in the relationship that they establish with the organization where they act. In addition to this, it was possible to verify that the organizational entrenchment levels present a higher average next to the cities outside the state capital. Having said that, it can be explained by the difference in the supply of employment between the metropolitan region and the rest of the state, much more because of population size and consequent development. This study brought a different perspective from the ones worked in the organizational line and the studies of entrepreneurial intention, since it indicates that the connection that the individual has with the company that he works, does not relate directly to those that intend to undertake. The results obtained here can be used as a basis for new studies with thematic ones, in which there is a deepening of interfering points.

Μέτρηση της πρόθεσης για ανάπτυξη επιχειρηματικότητας των φοιτητών του 1ου και του 4ου έτους του τμήματος Διοίκησης Επιχειρήσεων του Πανεπιστημίου Πατρών

Η πρόθεση για ανάπτυξη της επιχειρηματικότητας αποτελεί το αντικείμενο του ενδιαφέροντος της παρούσας μελέτης. Ο Bird (1988) και οι Souitaris et al. (2007) ορίζουν την εν λόγω έννοια ως μια κατάσταση που κατευθύνει την προσοχή και τις δράσεις ενός ατόμου προς την αυτό-απασχόληση, έναντι της απασχόλησης από κάποιον άλλο. Σκοπός της μελέτης είναι η μέτρηση της «πρόθεσης για ανάπτυξη επιχειρηματικότητας (entrepreneurial intention)» των φοιτητών του 1ου και του 4ου έτους του τμήματος Διοίκησης Επιχειρήσεων του Πανεπιστημίου Πατρών, ο προσδιορισμός των παραγόντων που τη διαμορφώνουν, αλλά και οι διαφορές μεταξύ των δύο ετών. Το μοντέλο που σχεδιάστηκε βασίζεται στη Θεωρία της Προ-Σχεδιασμένης Συμπεριφοράς (Theory of Planned Behavior), ένα καθιερωμένο μοντέλο της βιβλιογραφίας που συνδέει την πρόθεση με τις επακόλουθες ενέργειες (Ajzen, 1987, 1991). Ο Ajzen (1991) προτείνει ότι η «στάση ενός ατόμου απέναντι στη συμπεριφορά (attitude towards behavior)», στους «υποκειμενικούς κανόνες (subjective norm)», και στον «αντιλαμβανόμενο έλεγχο της συμπεριφοράς (perceived behavioral control)» είναι οι παράγοντες που καθορίζουν τις προθέσεις του. Για το σκοπό της παρούσας μελέτης, προστέθηκαν μεταβλητές δανεισμένες από τη διεθνή βιβλιογραφία οι οποίες αναμένεται ότι επιδρούν στο σχηματισμό της «πρόθεσης για ανάπτυξη επιχειρηματικότητας (entrepreneurial intention)». Αυτές είναι το «αρμονικό πάθος (harmonious passion)», το «υπερβολικό πάθος (obsessive passion)», το «πρόγραμμα σπουδών του τμήματος και το περιεχόμενο των μαθημάτων (entrepreneurial curriculum and content)» (μόνο στο 4ο έτος), καθώς και κάποιες μεταβλητές σχετικές με το προφίλ των φοιτητών του τμήματος. Η μεθοδολογική προσέγγιση που επιλέχθηκε στην παρούσα μελέτη είναι η ποσοτική έρευνα με την μορφή ερωτηματολογίου. Ο πληθυσμός της έρευνας αποτελείται από το σύνολο των 413 προπτυχιακών φοιτητών που φοιτούν στο 1ο (264 φοιτητές) και στο 4ο (149 φοιτητές) έτος του τμήματος Διοίκησης Επιχειρήσεων του Πανεπιστημίου Πατρών, το ακαδημαϊκό έτος 2013-2014, εκ των οποίων 186 ανταποκρίθηκαν (108 φοιτητές από το 1ο έτος και 78 από το 4ο), οι οποίοι αποτελούν το δείγμα της έρευνας. Αρχικά, χρησιμοποιήθηκε η ηλεκτρονική, ενώ στη συνέχεια η προσωπική μέθοδος συλλογής δεδομένων. Η έρευνα διεξήχθη από τις 28/03/2014 έως 14/05/2014. Τα αποτελέσματα έδειξαν πως το δείγμα χαρακτηρίζεται από ουδέτερη «πρόθεση για ανάπτυξη επιχειρηματικότητας (entrepreneurial intention)», με τους τεταρτοετείς να εκφράζουν μειωμένη πρόθεση σε σχέση με τους πρωτοετείς. Τα τρία συστατικά της Θεωρία της Προ-Σχεδιασμένης Συμπεριφοράς (Theory of Planned Behavior) συσχετίζονται θετικά με τη «πρόθεση για ανάπτυξη επιχειρηματικότητας (entrepreneurial intention)» του δείγματος. Όμοια είναι και τα ευρήματα του «αρμονικού πάθους (harmonious passion)» και για τα δύο έτη, καθώς και του «προγράμματος σπουδών και του περιεχομένου των μαθημάτων για την ενίσχυση της επιχειρηματικότητας (entrepreneurial curriculum and content)» των τεταρτοετών. Οι μεταβλητές που προβλέπουν την «πρόθεση για ανάπτυξη επιχειρηματικότητας (entrepreneurial intention)» και για τα δύο έτη είναι κατά σειρά σημαντικότητας η «στάση απέναντι στην αυτό-απασχόληση (attitude towards behavior)» και ο «αντιλαμβανόμενος έλεγχος της συμπεριφοράς (perceived behavioral control)», ενώ είναι εμφανής η συμβολή του «αρμονικού πάθους (harmonious passion)» στην «πρόθεση για ανάπτυξη επιχειρηματικότητας (entrepreneurial intention)» των πρωτοετών και των «υποκειμενικών κανόνων (subjective norm)» στους τεταρτοετείς. Bird (1988) and Souitaris et al. (2007) define this concept as a condition that directs the attention and actions of an individual towards self-employment, against employment by someone else. The purpose of the study is to measure the “entrepreneurial intention” of the 1st and 4th year students of the Business Administration Department, University of Patras, the definitions of the factors that shape it, as well as the differences between the two years. The model which has been designed is based on the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB), an established model of literature linking the intention with the subsequent actions (Ajzen, 1987, 1991). Ajzen (1991) suggests that "a person's attitude towards behavior”, the “subjective norm”, and the “perceived behavioral control” are the factors that determine his intentions. For the purpose of this study, variables have been added, borrowed from the international literature which are expected to affect the formation of the "entrepreneurial intention”. These are the “harmonious passion”, the “obsessive passion”, the "entrepreneurial curriculum and content” (only in the 4th year), and some variables related to the profile of the students of the department. The methodological approach that has been chosen in this study is the quantitative research in the form of a questionnaire. The survey population consists of all 413 undergraduate students enrolled in the 1st (264 students) and 4th (149 students) year of the Business Administration Department, University of Patras, in the academic year 2013-2014, of which 186 have responded (108 students from the first year and 78 in the fourth), who constitute the sample of the study. Originally, the electronics method of data collection was used, while later on the personal one. The survey was conducted from 03.28.2014 to 05.14.2014. The results have shown that the sample is characterized by a neutral “entrepreneurial intention”, with the fourth-year students expressing a reduced intention, compared with the first-year ones. The three components of the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) are positively related to the "entrepreneurial intention” of the sample. Similar are the findings of the “harmonious passion” for both years, and the “entrepreneurial curriculum and content” of the fourth-year students. The variables which provide the “entrepreneurial intention” for both years are, in order of importance, the “(attitude towards behavior” and the “perceived behavioral control”, while there is a clear contribution of the “harmonious passion” in the “entrepreneurial intention” of freshmen and the “subjective norm” of the fourth-year students. The variable “entrepreneurial curriculum and content” contributes to the percentage which reflects the variability of “entrepreneurial intention” of the fourth-year students, but it has no statistically significant effect. Finally, the fourth-year students with parents involved in entrepreneurship have shown a higher “entrepreneurial intention”.

Ainda, busca identificar diferenças deste incremento em relação aos alunos de sexo masculino e feminino e em relação aos que possuem ou não experiência anterior nos negócios. Para atingir os objetivos propostos foi realizado um quase-experimento que, para a estimativa dos efeitos das empresas juniores na intenção empreendedora, se valeu de um pareamento entre grupos de tratamento (participantes de empresa júnior) e controle (não participantes da EJ) e aplicação de regressão linear múltipla. A abrangência da amostra, 5969 alunos, e a utilização de grupo de controle, ofereceram um bom nível de validade interna e a amostragem de diferentes universidades de localidades distintas aumentou a validade externa das descobertas. Foi demonstrado que a participação na empresa júnior tem um efeito positivo no incremento da intenção empreendedora dos alunos. Há evidências de que o efeito das empresas juniores sobre o aumento da intenção empreendedora é superior para as mulheres. O mesmo não se confirma quando se trata da experiência prévia dos alunos nos negócios. A principal limitação da pesquisa é relativa a variável dependente pois não foram consideradas as relações entre as empresas juniores e as variáveis comumente utilizadas que buscam predizer a intenção empreendedora. Assim, a utilização de uma escala, de maior grau de validade e confiabilidade, seria útil para testes empíricos futuros. A partir dos resultados, os agentes envolvidos no contexto podem utilizá-los como insumo para o processo de fomento ao empreendedorismo e desenvolvimento socioeconômico, dada a evidência de efeitos positivos das empresas juniores. Este estudo contribui para a pesquisa sobre educação para o empreendedorismo, revelando o efeito benéfico para os alunos participantes de programas de educação empreendedora. Pelo nosso conhecimento, este é o primeiro estudo sobre empresa júnior que apresenta impactos sobre a intenção de empreender em uma ampla amostra de alunos e universidades, com mitigação de endogeneidade a partir do pareamento entre grupos de tratamento e controle. / This study intends to investigate if the junior enterprise contributes to the increase of the entrepreneurial intention of the students of Brazilian universities. Also, it seeks to identify differences in this increase in relation to male and female students and in relation to those who have or do not have previous business experience. In order to reach the proposed objectives, a quasi-experiment was carried out which, in order to estimate the effects of the junior companies on the entrepreneurial intention, a pairing between treatment (participants of junior enterprises) and control groups (non participants of junior enterprises) and multiple linear regression application was performed. The scope of the sample, 5969 students, and the use of the control group provided a good level of internal validity and the sampling of different universities from different locations increased the external validity of the findings. Findings - The outcome indicated the participation in the junior enterprise has a positive effect on the increase of the students' entrepreneurial intention. There is also evidence that the effect of junior enterprise on the increase of entrepreneurial intent is higher among women. The same scenario does not apply to students with previous experience in business. The main limitation of the research is related to the dependent variable because the relations between the junior companies and the commonly used variables that seek to predict the entrepreneurial intention were not considered. Thus, the use of a scale of greater validity and reliability would be useful for future empirical tests. As practical relevance, this study allows the actors involved in the context to use it as an input to foster entrepreneurial and socioeconomic development, given the evidence of positive effects of junior enterprises. This study contributes to the research on education for entrepreneurship, revealing the beneficial effect for students participating in entrepreneurship education programs.

Investigating the formation of Entrepreneurial Intent (EI) is determinant for the understanding of the whole process of entrepreneurship. Based on Schwartz’s Theory of Human Values (THV) (2001) and Ajzen’s Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB), the present study aimed to identify the influence of human values and the planned behavior in EI of university students of 11 educational institutions, established in the southwestern region of Paraná, in the south of Brazil. The research universe covered the 3rd and 4th year students of the classroom-based administration courses. The instrument of data collection was a questionnaire, composed by the following items: (1) sociodemographic questionnaire, (2) Schwartz’s Portrait Values Questionnaire (PVQ) (2001), (3) Liñán and Chen’s Entrepreneurial Intention Questionnaire (2009) and (4) three items of Thompson’s Entrepreneurial Intention Scale (2009). Through the Multiple Linear Regression analysis, the results showed that the Personal Attitudes construct was shown to be the most influential in EI, in relation to the other constructs. The construct Perception of Behavior Control, in order of greater influence, ranked second. For the human values constructs, only the values of self-promotion were significant, having a positive influence on the EI of the students surveyed. The TCP-based model allowed to explain 51.1% of the variance of the EI, which is an average value compared to the values found in previous investigations, ranging from 20% to 65%. The human values model added to TCP allowed to explain 51.8% of the variance in EI. The present research evidenced the regionality factor, making possible future comparative studies between Brazilian states and regions. / Os empreendedores se destacam como agentes de fortalecimento das economias locais, em decorrência de seu poder de promover o crescimento econômico ligado aos seus negócios. Investigar a formação da Intenção Empreendedora (IE) é determinante para o entendimento de todo o processo de empreendedorismo. Tendo como base a Teoria dos Valores Humanos (TVH) de Schwartz (2001) e a Teoria do Comportamento Planejado (TCP) de Ajzen (1991), o presente trabalho teve como objetivo identificar a influência dos valores humanos e do comportamento planejado na IE de estudantes universitários de onze instituições de ensino, estabelecidas na região sudoeste do Paraná. O universo de pesquisa abrangeu os discentes do 3° e 4° anos dos cursos de administração, na modalidade presencial. O instrumento para coleta dos dados foi um questionário, composto pelos itens: (1) Sociodemográfico; (2) Questionário de Perfis de Valores (QPV) de Schwartz (2001), (3) Questionário de Intenção Empreendedora (QIE) de Liñán e Chen (2009) e (4) três itens da Escala de Intenção Empreendedora de Thompson (2009). Por meio da análise de Regressão Linear Múltipla, os resultados evidenciaram que o constructo Atitudes Pessoais, da TCP, se mostrou como o mais influente, na IE, em relação aos demais constructos. O constructo Percepção de Controle do Comportamento posicionou-se em segundo lugar, diante dos demais. Para os constructos da Teoria dos Valores Humanos os valores de autopromoção se mostraram significativos, desempenhando influência positiva na IE dos alunos pesquisados. O modelo baseado na TCP permitiu explicar 51,1%, da variância da IE, o que constitui um valor médio se comparado com os valores encontrados em investigações prévias, que variam entre 20% e 65%. O modelo dos valores humanos adicionados permitiu explicar 51,8% da variância na IE. A presente pesquisa evidenciou ainda o fator regionalidade, possibilitando futuros estudos comparativos entre estados e regiões brasileiras.

The entrepreneurial intentions of academic researchers in an emerging knowledge economy

This study analysed the entrepreneurial intentions of academic researchers to create spinoffs in a country where the phenomenon of academic spinoffs is emerging. The study consisted of a quantitative analysis of entrepreneurial intentions, performed within the context of South Africa’s Higher Education Institutions and Science Councils.The study drew from psychological and entrepreneurship research on intentionality to measure the level of entrepreneurial intentions using specific determinants (entrepreneurial self-efficacy, personal networks, perceived role models, number of years spent at the academic institution, number of patents/ copyrights/ designs, type of research, and cooperation with industry) that characterise the emergence of academic entrepreneurial intentions that lead academics to the creation of spinoffs. The study also aimed to determine if there were differences in the entrepreneurial intentions between researchers in technical and non-technical fields of expertise.A quantitative online survey was conducted amongst researchers in higher education institutions and science councils, followed by data analysis using a multiple linear regression to measure the entrepreneurial intentions. Thereafter a determination of factors associated with the higher levels of intention and a comparison of the level of intentions was conducted between researchers from the two study groups using an analysis of coefficients and significance tests respectively.The study showed that the entrepreneurial intentions of researchers in South Africa were very low. It was also shown that entrepreneurial self-efficacy was the strongest predictor of academic entrepreneurial intentions. El uso de la gamificación en la enseñanza del emprendimiento: actitud e intención de uso por parte del profesorado universitario

[ES] A las universidades actuales no se les demanda solamente que actúen como centros de enseñanza e investigación, sino que contribuyan al desarrollo económico y social de los territorios en los que están implantadas. Una de las maneras en las que las universidades pueden contribuir a este desarrollo es mediante la transferencia de conocimiento de investigación aplicada que contribuya a la generación de riqueza y puestos de trabajo. Otra es incrementar la empleabilidad de sus egresados facilitando su incorporación al sistema productivo. En este sentido, la universidad puede jugar un papel relevante facilitando una formación que potencie y desarrolle el sentido de la iniciativa y el emprendimiento de sus estudiantes, considerado una de las habilidades fundamentales demandadas en el siglo XXI. Asimismo, la formación en el espíritu emprendedor de los estudiantes pasa por el uso de metodologías docentes que sean innovadoras y motivadoras y, por lo tanto, capaces de hacer frente a los retos a los que se enfrenta la educación superior actual. En este sentido, en los últimos años, se ha señalado la capacidad de la gamificación como herramienta de instrucción altamente motivadora y eficaz. Los estudios actuales señalan asimismo las posibilidades del uso de la gamificación para desarrollar la competencia emprendedora entre los estudiantes universitarios. No obstante, el profesorado es un elemento clave en la implantación de las metodologías y aproximaciones pedagógicas empleadas en el aula. Por este motivo, el objetivo principal de esta tesis es analizar las actitudes e intención de uso de la gamificación, por parte del profesorado universitario, como metodología docente dirigida a desarrollar la competencia emprendedora de los estudiantes universitarios. Con este objetivo se plantea un diseño exploratorio de corte cuantitativo orientado a conocer la actitud e intención de uso del profesorado universitario hacia la gamificación como metodología docente con la que desarrollar la competencia emprendedora de los estudiantes universitarios. Para alcanzar este objetivo se desarrolla, y valida, un modelo predictivo que incluye tanto variables personales (edad, género,) como moduladoras (clima laboral) explicativas de la actitud e intención de uso del profesorado universitario. Los resultados sugieren que la actitud frente al uso resulta explicada fundamentalmente por la utilidad percibida, y en menor medida por el clima laboral, la edad y el género. Por otro lado, la intención de uso se explica básicamente por la utilidad percibida y la edad, y en menor grado por la actitud, el clima laboral y el género. / [CA] En els últims anys, a les universitats no se'ls demanda únicament que actuen com a centres d'ensenyament i investigació, sinó que contribuïsquen al desenvolupament econòmic i social dels territoris en els quals estan implantades. Els estudis actuals assenyalen així mateix les possibilitats de l'ús de la gamificació per a desenvolupar la competència emprenedora entre els estudiants universitaris. No obstant això, el professorat és un element clau en la implantació de les metodologies i aproximacions pedagògiques emprades a l'aula. Per aquest motiu, l'objectiu principal d'aquesta tesi és analitzar les actituds i intenció d'ús de la gamificació, per part del professorat universitari, com a metodologia docent dirigida a desenvolupar la competència emprenedora dels estudiants universitaris. Amb aquest objectiu es planteja un disseny exploratori de tall quantitatiu orientat a conéixer l'actitud i intenció d'ús del professorat universitari cap a la ludificació com a metodologia docent amb la qual desenvolupar la competència emprenedora dels estudiants universitaris. Amb aquest objectiu es desenvolupa, i valguda, un model predictiu que inclou tant variables personals (edat, gènere,) com a moduladores (clima laboral) explicatives de l'actitud i intenció d'ús del professorat universitari. To do so, universities can contribute in many ways, like transfering applied research knowledge that helps in the generation of wealth and jobs or by increasing the employability of their graduates by facilitating their incorporation into the productive system. In this sense, the university as an institution can play a relevant role by providing training that enhances and develops the sense of initiative and entrepreneurship of its students, considered one of the fundamental skills demanded in the 21st century. Likewise, training students in entrepreneurship requires the use of teaching methodologies that are both innovative and motivating and, therefore, capable of meeting the challenges faced by today's higher education. In this sense, in recent years, the capacity of gamification as a highly motivating and effective instructional tool has been pointed out. Current studies also focus on the possibilities of using gamification to develop entrepreneurial competence among university students. Taking this into account and considering that teachers are still a key element in the implementation of the methodologies and pedagogical approaches used in the classroom, the main objective of this thesis is to analyze the attitudes and intention to use gamification, by university teachers, as a teaching methodology aimed at developing the entrepreneurial competence of university students. With this objective, an exploratory design of quantitative cut is proposed, oriented to know the attitude and intention of use of university professors towards gamification as a teaching methodology, to develop the entrepreneurial competence of university students. Having this objective in mind, a predictive model is developed -and validated- that includes both personal variables (age, gender) and modulating variables (work environment) that explain the attitude and intention of university professors towards the use of gamification as a teaching methodology to develop the entrepreneurial competence of university students. The results suggest that attitude towards the use of gamification is explained mainly by perceived usefulness, and to a lesser extent by work environment, age and gender.
