2	Impuls in i det okända : En studie i fritt improviserande utifrån instruktioner / An impulse into the unknown : A study in free improvisation from instructions Jakobsson, Joakim January 2023 (has links) I den här undersökningen har jag fördjupat mig i fri improvisation utifrån ensemble med instruktioner skrivna på förhand. Med hjälp av egenproducerade instruktioner och slump har fyra musikstycken skapats i realtid i syfte att undersöka impulser och upplevelser på min och ensemblens musikaliska, praktika och konstnärliga val inom fri improvisation. De fyra styckena har haft olika antal instruktioner som utgångspunkter som har jämförts med varandra. Arbetet har resulterat i nya insikter om mig själv som improvisatör som har utökat mitt vokabulär, gett ett bredare spektrum av interaktion och en djupare förståelse för fri improvisation i allmänhet, vilket gör mig positiv att fortsätta söka och utvecklas inom genren och ”det okända.” fri improvisation experimentell musik improvisation impuls Music Musik

Fokus ligger på aktörer inom populärkulturen som använt sig av konstnärliga strategier med rötter i finkulturen. Undersökningen spårar ljudkonstens historiska bakgrund och främst de förlopp som bidragit till att det är en gränsöverskridande konstform. Den populärkulturella konstvärldens etablering som en social organisation där konstnärlig verksamhet är möjlig undersöks. / With concentration on the art form sound art and the artistic treatment of sound, this essay investigates an interaction between the fine arts and popular culture. The focus is on participants within popular culture that used artistic strategies with roots in the fin arts. The study traces sound arts historical background and the events that contributed to the fact that it is an interdisciplinary art form. 4	Ljud - livets parentes : Några nedslag längs vägen Trottner, Theodor January 2012 (has links) Essän Ljud – livets parentes handlar om ljud I relation till idéer om experimentel musik och ett utökat tankesätt om vad music och ljud är. Vad lyssnande kan vara och hur vi uppfattar ljud I relation till den teknologiska och industriella utvecklingen. 5	Rum och rundgång : Ett försök att kartlägga ljudande upplevelser Hållsten, Mattias January 2019 (has links) Den här texten diskuterar mina ljudande upplevelser och hur dessa relaterar till tankar kring vad som är verkligt och vad som virtuellt. Detta görs genom att jämföra skillnader mellan upplevelser av dels akustiskt och elektronisk ljud, dels analogt och digitalt ljud. Dessa tankar tar avstamp i James J. Gibsons och Eric Clarkes respektive teorier om ekologisk perception, samt Casey O'Callaghans tankar om ljudontologi. 6	Mot händelsernas horisont : Att komponera improviserad musik med ljuddesign som metod Jonsäll, Hans Lennart January 2021 (has links) This Bachelor Thesis in composition explores an alternative compositional process for creating improvised music through the approach of sound design. The questions addressed in the thesis are concerned with how the soundscape can be controlled by the composer while still maintaining the expressivity of an improvised performance. Thus, the composer’s role as both sound designer, producer and performer is investigated using live electronics and score design. The theoretical framework for the thesis is to be found in the intersection between Anglo-American experimental music, electronic music, sound design and electroacoustic improvisation. Key influences include indeterminacy as expressed in the music of John Cage, Deep Listening practices pioneered by Pauline Oliveros as well as the aesthetical paradigms of electronic and electroacoustic music. The artistic methods revolved around the following steps: studio workshops with musicians (Fredrik Ekenvi and José Louis Relova Gallego) exploring timbres, playing techniques and music technology in real-time followed by associative discussions about the soundscapes created; composing audio and graphical drafts influenced by the workshops; designing diagrams for the electronics and compiling these to a design document; workshopping and performing the final piece (Towards the Event Horizon). Towards the Event Horizon (for bass clarinet, electric guitar and live electronics) is the final result of the work, comprising a score with accompanying design document as well as a recording of the original performance at Studio Acusticum in Piteå 20th of March 2021. The artefacts and associated documentation are presented in their entirety on the dedicated Research Catalogue exposition.
