We aim to demonstrate that there is a story behind a set of apparently unrelated stories and that what bundles these stories is not only the symbolic description or records of an important period of the history of Brazil, but also, despite its incipient literary load, the path a man must necessarily follow in order to accomplish his journey under the absurdity of the world. When we think about writing and surviving in Cartas da prisão [Letters from prison], by Frei Betto, we try to identify, in this tug-‐of-‐war, in what measure would there be a movement of dynamic balance of the origin of the author in the denial of death. For the high degree of subjectivity we aim for here, Roland Barthes' concept of Neutral has proved to be an efficient methodology, having provided us with the attribute of the impasse and, therefore, the right to news paths, the access to surprising answers and, above all, a sparkling creative-‐critical-‐aesthetic experience, to use an expression of Barthes himself. The lucidity that ties Sisyphus to his destiny under the huge rock of his condemnation or Camus to his human rebellion in face of the race condemnation is of the same order of the one that connects Betto to literature and which represents his only real possibility of achieving true freedom: through consciousness / A presente dissertação representa a busca por uma narrativa.

In this dissertation we shall try to establish a relation between the practices and theories applied to obtain different salts which were used in a number of products like soaps, glasses, medication, as well as in gunpowder industry. In order to understand the studies on salts we turned to the work of the Portuguese friar José Mariano da Conceição Veloso, entitled Alographia dos alkalis fixos vegetal ou potassa, mineral ou soda e dos seus nitratos, segundo as melhores memórias estrangeira, que se tem escrito sobre este assunto. The commission of the above work was directly made by the Portuguese government in a period while the country was passing trough transformations. Their main concern was to resolve problems related to manufacturing and to food production. It is in this context that a reform in the University of Coimbra established the Natural Philosophy course, which would be responsible for the professional training of naturalists. Their goal would be to collect data and identify the natural wealth of the kingdom trough their trips. A second step was also made with the creation of the Arco do Cego typography, in charge of friar Veloso. There he published texts, many of them translations, willing to help people interested in developing different economic activities / O estudo sobre a forma de se identificar e produzir os vários tipos de álcalis no final do século XVIII foi preocupação de muitos estudiosos.

Songel Gonzalez, Juan María 23 June 2008 (has links)
Songel Gonzalez, JM. TEXTILBASIERTER LEICHTBAU IN SACHSEN: Ergebnisbroschüre 2015

Ehrlich, Andreas, Röhrkohl, Meike, Rudolph, Enrico, Krübel, Stine January 2016 (has links)

Organic Light-Emitting Diodes: Development of Electrode and Multilayer Deposition Processes

Hengge, Michael 01 June 2023 (has links)
Organic light-emitting diodes have many advantages compared to their inorganic counterparts. Not only can they be used more energy-efficiently, but they can also be used in new, flexible technologies. To reach their full potential, additional layers and new materials can be added. Replacing brittle electrodes with thin metal layers can make OLEDs more flexible, intermediate layers improve charge transport, and novel materials can simplify solution processing of OLEDs. In each of the chapters of this thesis, an approach to increasing the performance of OLEDs was examined. Thin silver layers were produced from a particle-free silver ink using inkjet. Their optical and electrical properties were characterized. The printed electrodes show a high flexural strength while retaining good electrical properties. The efficacy of the light-emitting diodes produced in this way exceeds that of reference diodes. To be able to further increase the efficiency of organic light-emitting diodes, intermediate layers made of new material combinations were subsequently investigated. The efficiency of inverted light-emitting diodes could be significantly increased by means of a blend intermediate layer made of zinc oxide and a polymer. Furthermore, two newly synthesized molecules were used to improve the wetting of perovskites on electrodes and thus enable their manufacturability using inkjet printing. Finally, crosslinking of polymers to fabricate multilayer devices was investigated. Here, the solubility of a polymer is reduced by various approaches. This principle was demonstrated using the light-emitting polymer Super Yellow. The resistance of a layer of Super Yellow against toluene was successfully reduced significantly. Thus, subsequent processing of an additional layer from the same solvent was made possible.

The Christian theology of religions reconsidered : Alan Race's theology of religions, Hans Frei's theological typology and 20th century ecumenical movements on Christian engagement with other faiths

Collins, Dane Andrew January 2018 (has links)
The contemporary debate concerning the Christian theology of religions has been profoundly shaped by Alan Race’s three-fold typology of exclusivism, inclusivism and pluralism. Although the insufficiency of this typology’s descriptive and critical capacity has become increasingly acknowledged within the field, widespread agreement about its replacement remains elusive. This thesis argues that a replacement can be found in Hans Frei’s five-fold typology of Christian theology, which differentiates between a range of approaches to theology, from theology as philosophical discourse (Type 1) to theology as quarantined, Christian self-description (Type 5). It is suggested that the more basic question posed by Frei’s typology of how Christian theology is understood in relation to philosophy and other external discourses, provides a better means of accounting for the different positions in the Christian theology of religions within 20th century ecumenical movements. It is shown how Frei’s typology emerges from his emphasis on both the limitations and the significance of external discourses for Christian theology, an emphasis which results from his construal of the mystery of Christ’s universal presence as a function of the particular incarnation in Jesus of Nazareth. Chapter one considers the philosophical foundations upon which Race’s typology is constructed, with particular emphasis on Troeltsch’s historicism, Hick’s epistemology of religious experience and WC Smith’s phenomenological hermeneutic, concluding that they determine the typology’s apologetic approach. It is shown how these commitments lead Race’s typology to differentiate between types of Christian theology primarily in relation to the philosophical viability, as Race understands it, of their Christology. Chapter two focuses first on the theology of Hans Frei and his analysis of the relationship between Christology and historicism, epistemology, and hermeneutics. It is suggested that Frei’s focus on the ordering of the relationship between Christian theology and external discourses, while undermining Race’s approach, affirms the possibility of a theologically valuable relationship between Christian theology and external discourses. Moreover, unlike Race, Frei’s emphasis on the significance of external discourses for Christian theology is derived in light of, and not in spite of, a faith in the incarnation and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Chapter three looks at Frei’s fivefold typology as a better means of accounting for the differences Race posits between exclusivists, inclusivists and pluralists. It is argued that in following Frei’s typological logic and the historical, epistemological and hermeneutical considerations characteristic of a Christian theology between types three and four, an approach to the theology of religions emerges which addresses the question of the universality of divine revelation – the central concern of Race’s typology – while also showing the inadequacy of Race’s typology and its prioritisation of philosophy. This will be shown by applying Frei’s typology to 20th century ecumenical movements and the positions on the theological significance of non-Christian religions that have emerged therein. Though Frei did not directly take up the issue of the Christian theology of religions, chapter three will demonstrate how his typology of Christian theology is of particular importance for this discussion. For his typology highlights the central question driving the theology of religions – how the ‘internal’ discourse of Christian self-description in reference to the gospels’ history-like witness to the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ relates to the historically contingent, public world outside the church. The conclusion will point toward a constructive proposal for a theology of evangelism and interfaith dialogue in pluralist societies of the 21st century, drawing on the ecumenical discussion viewed in relation to the theological and typological insights of Hans Frei.

O que é isso, companheiro? (1997), directed by Bruno Barreto, and Batismo de Sangue (2007), by Helvécio Ratton. They are understood as vehicles of construction and appropriation of memories. The research trails the way since the publication of the books that inspired the movies till the movie’s release. Besides the books and movies narrative the essay deals with the personalities who wrote versions about the dictatorial past: moviemakers, armed force militants and writers. In the decades that followed the political freedom the memories about the period of dictatorship are built and reconstructed within the dialogue with the environment of the personalities and the transforming political structures. Through the analysis of the use, meanings and circulation of the cultural industrial products it is possible to have a view of the actual concepts of the dictatorship past and also identify the debates about these memories. The polemics and interpretations that rises from the literary and cinema versions of “O que é isso, companheiro” e “Batismo de Sangue” is used to investigate the process of auto critics of the armed fight, the construction of the emblematic figures of the opposition to the regime, such as Tito de Alencar e Carlos Marighella, the silence about the collaboration and omission before the arbitrary, among other questions that arises from the elaboration about the years of lead.
