Anarquismo, ciência e educação: Francisco Ferrer y Guardia e a rede de militantes e cientistas em torno do ensino racionalista (1890-1920) / Anarchism, science and education: Francisco Ferrer y Guardia and the web of militants and scientists on the rationalist education (1890-1920)

Silva, Rodrigo Rosa da 29 October 2013 (has links)
The thesis aims to investigate the anarchist\'s conceptions of science and their role in the construction of an educative methodology and practice. Our reference in this study is the Escuela Moderna de Barcelona (1901-1906), founded by Francisco Ferrer y Guardia (1859-1909), with aid of various collaborators. We analyze the textbooks from the publisher Publicaciones de la Escuela Moderna. We also engage to understand the process of organization of the International League for the Rational Education of Child, which involved some of the most renowned scientists of that time. We understand the Ferrer\'s educational action as a part of a broader political project that includes school, propaganda through the press, the unions activities and scientific dissemination. In this process Ferrer y Guardia mobilized various collaborators. We highlighted his relationships with scientists and activists anarchists like Piotr Kropotkin, Élisée Reclus, Clemência Jacquinet, Paul Robin, Jean Grave e Charles-Ange Laisant. We checked the influences of the anarchist thought in the pedagogical practices of the Escuela Moderna and the network formation of activists and scientists around the rationalist education in the early twentieth century. The research sources were publications of the time and personal documents such as letters and manuscripts. The Escuela Moderna has become inspiration for other educational projects in many cities of the world and the mathematician and anarchist Charles-Ange Laisant (1841-1920) was one of those responsible for the conception and dissemination of the Pedagogical Rationalism.

Les textes de chansons : entre le langage et la musique : (sur l'exemple de la chanson d'auteur des années 1950-1980) / Song lyrics : where language meets music : (a study of the French chanson d’auteur, 1950s – 1980s)

Savtchenko, Mikhail 14 December 2015 (has links)
The thesis studies song lyrics as a concept. As the song is a synthetic genre, the modes of interaction between its two main domains, words and music, are studied, along with the effects of their coexistence. The example used it that of the French chanson of the 1950s – 1980s. Within this period, the study focuses on three authors (Serge Gainsbourg, Boby Lapointe, Nino Ferrer), whose songs, on account of their stylistic similarities, can be considered examples of the “formalist chanson”. This type of chanson prefers linguistic play (puns, alliteration) and other rhetorical or play-oriented devices (pastiche, parody), and makes heavy use of intertextuality. This is often a paradox, as music, as it entails constraints comparable to those of metric poetry, often minimizes formal effect; indeed, the genre of chanson in general is ill-suited to complex wordplay. The song lyric is problematic because whereas it is technically identical to the poem, and can also be put in the same cultural context (in particular, by being published or read aloud), the principles of its functioning are not the same. The analysis of “formalist chanson” lyrics reveals that while the devices used by Gainsbourg, Ferrer and Lapointe can also be found in poetry, the song lyric nonetheless possesses distinguishing features: in particular its dependency on the other elements of the song (music and performance), but also its temporal linearity.

Nebot Diaz, Esther 13 January 2015 (has links)
Nebot Diaz, E.
