Devido à grande pressão pela redução de estoques e prazos de entrega, concomitantemente com o aumento da variedade de produtos, o planejamento e controle da produção tem se tornado cada vez mais complexo e desafiador. Basicamente, essa atividade das empresas objetiva planejar e controlar o uso dos recursos produtivos, visando atender à demanda dos clientes. Tradicionalmente, a literatura tem abordado os sistemas MRP, KANBAN, OPT, mas um novo conjunto de soluções de sistemas de programação finita vem sendo crescentemente tratado. As empresas, na busca de aprimoramento para a atividade de PCP estão à procura de ferramentas de programação finita, também conhecidas como Advanced Planning and Scheduling (APS), a fim de melhorar o processo de gerenciamento de pedidos, incluindo quesitos como a determinação de prazos de entrega na etapa de negociação dos pedidos, programação efetiva dos pedidos firmes e controle da produção. Esta dissertação pretende verificar as necessidades e dificuldades da programação detalhada da produção, as barreiras de implantação e os benefícios dos APS. O método utilizado foi o levantamento survey nas empresas filiadas à Federação das Indústrias do Estado de São Paulo (Fiesp). Os resultados obtidos mostram que a programação detalhada da produção é uma atividade complexa para a maioria das empresas com estratégia de produção contra pedido (MTO), que estão direcionadas para aumento de desempenho estratégico. A grande maioria das empresas ainda utiliza o modelo de planejamento MRP, porém elas possuem objetivos que podem ser mais facilmente alcançados com o uso de sistemas APS. O aspecto financeiro ainda é limitador para aquisição de sistemas e falta de capacitação. / Due to the great pressure to reduce inventory and delivery, together with the increasing variety of products, production planning and control (PPC) has become increasingly complex and challenging. Basically, this activity aims business planning and control productive resources, to meet customer demand. Traditionally, the literature has addressed the systems MRP, KANBAN, OPT, but a new set of solutions of finite scheduling systems is increasingly being investigated. Companies in search of improvement to the activity of PPC are looking for finite scheduling tools, also known as Advanced Planning and Scheduling (APS) in order to improve the process of order management, including issues such as the determination of time delivery in the stage of negotiation of claims, effective scheduling of orders and production control. This study aims to ascertain the needs and difficulties in the detailed production scheduling, the stage of implementation, and benefits that APS software can provide. The research method was the survey in industries affiliated to the Federation of Industries of Sao Paulo (Fiesp). The results indicated that scheduling production is a complex activity for most companies under the make-to-order strategy (MTO). Companies are using MRPII planning model, but they have goals that can be more easily achieved with the use of advanced planning and scheduling systems (APS). This financial point is still limiting for acquisition of systems and lack of training.

<p>Highland Group AB was helping a customer of theirs to create an All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV), a project Highland has never been involved with before. For the wishbone arms of the wheel suspension, traditional manufacturing methods and tubes with cylindrical or square shaped cross section was preferred. We performed a simulation where the ATV was driving on a bumpy road too see the forces involved. With the results we proceeded to calculate the strength of the concepts to find out which is best suited for the tough environment in which the ATV is used. The concept that turned out to be the best was a wishbone made of circular cross section, which had good structural strength and did fulfill the demands that we required for the construction. The company where interested in the project and could see themselves proceeding with the work in the future. We helped the company to find interest for computer aided simulation in collaboration with structural strength analysis, which they would like to engage in. The project has given us a larger knowledge in the choices of construction and structural strength analysis as well as experience working with computer aided construction tools.</p>

Road safety is a complicated issue that affects most world economies due to its negative socioeconomic impact. Road safety programs include different programs that cover different areas for minimizing the effects of these impacts. One of these programs focuses road safety against invasion of wildlife into traffic roads. Most economies that heavily include these particular programs, such as Sweden, rely on specific machinery and techniques for clearing road shoulders that allows driver to foresee any possible danger or road invasion in good time. The most common piece of machinery used for covering this type of activity is known as a boom mower. Boom mowers can be pictured as giant lawnmowers that are attached into a long boom crane from wheel loaders or excavators, so they can clear invading vegetation from the road shoulders. Boom mowers suffer from heavy wear due to their dimensions, weight and operating speed which it requires companies to pay extra attention to their construction and choice of materials. Cranab Slagkraft is a Swedish company that has been specialized for providing high quality boom mowers for the last 30 yearsfor clearing vegetation on the Swedish roads. But, despite their higher quality products, these boo mowers are often expensive and complicated to manufacture. For this reason, Cranab has requested a study to minimize the manufacturing burden in order to simplify its production and diminish cost. This research study focuses on the latest components addition into the boom mower construction to assess their performance. For this research, the researcher will put to test the reinforcements of the boom mower’s model SH150 and see what their performance against harmonic vibrations and structural strength against local stresses are. The research follows two complementary analysis. First, a modal analysis on the boom mower’s main structure for evaluating resonance levels at an operating frequency. Second, a structural analysis with idealized conditions at operating speed to determine construction stress resilience. The results in this research reveals that the modal analysis rejects the viability of one group of reinforcements and confirms the implications of the other one. Also, the results reveal that the complicated geometry requires advanced software for providing more conclusive results. In addition, the boom mower’s own geometry and choice of material might play a role in adjusting the harmonic resonance and adjusting the boom mower’s mechanical properties. The latter conclusion should be considered as a theme of study for future research in this same field. / Trafiksäkerhet är ett komplicerat ärende som påverkar de flesta världsekonomier på grund av dess negativa socioekonomiska inverkan. I trafiksäkerhetsprogrammen ingår olika program som täcker olika områden för att minimera de socioekonomiska effekterna. Ett av dessa program koncentrerar sig på trafiksäkerhet mot invasion av vilda djur på motorbanor. De flesta världsekonomiers system som omfattar dessa trafiksäkerhetsprogram, till exempel Sverige, är beroende av specifika maskiner och tekniker för röjning av vägarna som gör det möjligt för föraren att i god tid ska kunna förutse eventuell fara eller vilt som kommer in på vägen. Den vanligaste maskinen som används för röjning av vägar kallas kättingröjare. Kättingröjaren kan liknas vid gigantiska gräsklippare som är fastsatta på en grävmaskin, hjullastare och/eller väghyvel så att de kan rensa bort gräs från vägkanten. Kättingröjare lider av kraftigt slitage på grund av deras dimensioner, vikt och driftshastighet. Det kräver att tillverkaren uppmärksammar konstruktionen och materialvalet till kättingröjaren. Cranab Slagkraft är ett svenskt företag som under de senaste 30 åren har specialiserat sig på att leverera högkvalitativa kättingröjare. Kättingröjarna är ofta dyra och komplicerade att tillverka. Av den anledningen har Cranab begärt en studie för att förenkla produktionen och minska tillverkningskostnaderna. Den här studien koncentrerar sig på det senaste komponenttillägget i kättingröjarens konstruktion för att bedöma deras prestanda. I den här studien testas flera förstärkningar i kättingröjarens modell SH150 för att undersöka deras prestanda mot harmonisk vibration och strukturell hållfasthet mot lokala spänningar. I studien ingår två kompletterande analyser. Först görs en modalanalys på kättingröjarens huvudstruktur för utvärdering av resonansnivåer vid driftsfrekvensen. Sedan görs en strukturell analys med idealiserat tillstånd vid driftshastigheten för att bestämma spänningsmotståndet. I resultatet beskrivs en grupp av förstärkningar som inte har någon påverkan för kättingröjarens harmoniska vibration och spänningsmotstånd och en andra grupp som visar påverkan. Även resultaten visar att den komplicerade geometrin kräver avancerad mjukvara för att ge mer avgörande resultat. Dessutom kan kättingröjarens egen geometri och materialval ha påverkan vid justering av dess harmoniska resonans och mekaniska egenskaper. Den senare slutsatsen bör betraktas som ett begrepp för framtida studier inom samma område.

No presente estudo também avançaremos na introdução de efeitos de temperatura nita via mecanismo de Matsubara. / In this work we make quantum corrections to the potential of a classical theory with symmetry ZN with the intention of understanding the effects quantum of theory via the radiative corrections of effective potential in a loop. For this to happen we need the n elds that make up the theory with discrete symmetry, expected values have nonzero vacuum that minimizes the potential. However, we know that the potential has interaction terms, and that if we look at the quantum vacuum that has physical interpretation of the state of particles, these terms yield corrections to the potential and obtain the true vacuum expectation value of the theory that minimizes the effective potential. With this we hope that arises the phenomenon of spontaneous symmetry breaking whose purpose is to produce topological defects like domain walls and junctions. In the present study advance the introduction of nite temperature effects via mechanism Matsubara.

Loussavaara Kirunavaara AB (LKAB) har lidit av flertalet haverier i sina olika omrörare runt om i sina kulsinterverk. Haverierna har bestått av axelbrott, navbrott och skadade lager. Dessa haverier resulterar i produktionsbortfall som kan kosta företaget summor i 10 miljoner kronorsklassen. För att i framtiden kunna minska risken för haverier har ett konstruktionskoncept tagits fram för nästa generation av omrörare. Kriterierna för konceptet togs fram genom att analysera de tidigare haverierna för att identifiera de brister som fanns i konstruktioner. Beräkningar, intervjuer, konstruktionsförslag och jämförelser mellan olika dellösningar till konstruktionen utfördes för att ta fram delkoncept. Delkoncepten sammanställdes till olika konceptförslag i en morfologisk matris. Utvärdering av de valda koncepten skedde i jämförelse med en av de befintliga lösningarna med hjälp av en Pugh-matris. Författaren har under arbetets gång använt sig av sin tre års erfarenhet som fulltidsanställd automationstekniker på LKAB. Konceptförslaget bedöms av författaren kunna användas vid konstruktion av nästa generations omrörare. Delkoncept för olika delar av konstruktionen bedöms av författaren kunna användas för att konstruera förbättringar av de befintliga lösningarna hos LKAB. / Loussavaara Kirunavaara AB (LKAB) have been suffering from several agitator failures in their slurry tanks, part of their pellet plants. These failures have been caused by axle fractures, hub cross fractures and damaged bearings. These failures results in production losses that can cost the company sums around 10 million SEK. To minimize the number of future failures, a new concept been developed for the next generation of agitators. Criteria for this concept have been generated by analyzing the previous failures to identify flaws in the current solutions. Calculations, interviews, design concepts and comparisons between different partial solutions were preformed to generate partial concepts. These partial concepts were then compared using a morphological matrix. Selection of the suggested concept was made by evaluating all the developed concepts in comparison to the current solution using a Pugh-matrix. The author has throughout the work been drawing on his three-year full time experience of working as an automation technician at LKAB. The herein proposed concept is assessed to be usable for construction of the next generation of agitators. Partial concepts are assessed by the author to be able to implement on current agitator solutions at LKAB.

Este número é obtido através de um importante objeto algébrico: o módulo dual de Grothendieck. Com o intuito de facilitar a obtenção deste número, mostraremos que ele está relacionado com outro número, chamado delta, mais fácil de ser calculado. Por fim, mostraremos que, de maneira análoga, Nuño-Ballesteros e Tomazella definem um número associado a germes de função finita definidos em curvas reduzidas. Este número está relacionado com o grau deste germe e com o número de Milnor da curva reduzida associada. / The aim of this work is to study reduced curves. Associate to them, Buchweitz and Greuel define a number, called Milnor number once that in the case of plane curves, this number coincides to the Milnor number defined by Milnor. This number is obtained through an important algebraic object: dual module of Grothendieck. In order to make it easier to obtain this number, we will prove that it is related to another number, called delta, easier to be computed. At last, we prove that, in the same way, Nuño-Ballesteros and Tomazella define a number associate to finite function germs defined over reduced curves. This number is related to the degree of this germ and to the Milnor number of the reduced curve associated to it.
