Debido al incontrolado crecimiento de la ciudad y el desarrollo de sub-centros en la periferia o más allá de ésta, es motivo de atención considerar los problemas que se generan respecto a las distancias y, por consiguiente, accesos a determinadas zonas e infraestructura cuando la ciudad crece y se reconfigura constantemente de acuerdo a las necesidades y/o demandas de la población. La variada gama de flujos hacia el centro de Santiago o alrededores de éste exige permanentemente estrategias de abarcamiento y suministros de transporte capaces de solventar de la mejor manera la demanda de transporte público. El proyecto Metro en Santiago ha sido uno de los mecanismos que otorga una solución rápida, segura y limpia para hacer frente a este problema. Hoy en día se encuentra en proceso de expansión hacia comunas que realmente necesitan de este servicio. Su paulatina extensión en unos años más abarcará la segunda comuna más poblada de Chile y la que cuenta con uno de los mayores flujos hacia el centro de Santiago: la comuna de Maipú.

Este estudio a lo que se dedica específicamente, es a ensayar un modelo que ilustre el funcionamiento hipotético de las obras de arte permanente de Metroarte, al interior del universo socioestético de la ciudad de Santiago. Para ello utilizaremos como instrumental teórico de análisis, el modelo con que (principalmente) Umberto Eco da cuenta de la operatividad semiótica de las obras de arte, para después y luego de examinar el contexto especifico y los agentes particulares del fenómeno en cuestión, cualificar y visualizar con mayor precisión, los tipos de rendimientos socioestéticos que se consigue cuando aquellas obras de Metroarte son actualizadas por el publico transeúnte.

El presente proyecto tiene como objetivo la creación e implementación de un aplicativo móvil donde los usuarios pondrán recargar la tarjeta de la línea 1 del tren de Lima con la finalidad de mejorar el proceso de espera del usuario al trasladarse a sus centros de trabajo y/o estudios. Es importante mencionar que, a través de este aplicativo el usuario podrá visualizar su saldo disponible y contará con dos opciones de suscripción la clásica y la Premium. La primera, por cada recarga realizada se le cobrará al usuario una comisión mientras que, con la segunda opción, estaría accediendo a una membresía mensual en la cual podrá obtener beneficios. Asimismo, se analizará la problemática en las estaciones del tren tomando en cuenta el punto de vista de las personas que se trasladan en estas unidades de transporte. Con ello, podremos identificar los principales malestares que enfrentan al momento de querer recargar sus tarjetas y proponer soluciones tomando en cuenta nuestro aplicativo móvil respaldado por el creciente uso de aplicativos en los consumidores limeños según Diario Gestión. Por ello, optamos por ofrecer una aplicación sencilla de manejar y útil que pueda satisfacer las necesidades del cliente. Para implementar nuestro proyecto se requiere de un capital de S/ 60,000 que incluyen los gastos preoperativos, la implementación de la plataforma móvil entre otro. Para finalizar, validaremos nuestro proyecto a través de la intención de suscripción para adquirir nuestra membresía y al hacer clic en la landing page utilizada en la página de Facebook. / The main objective of this project is to create and implement a mobile application where users will recharge their card of line 1 of Lima train in order to improve the user waiting process when moving to their jobs centers and / or studies. It’s important to mention that, through this application, the user will be able to view how much money they have on the card and will have two subscription options: classic and Premium. The first one, for each recharge made, the user will be charged a commission while, with the second option, he would be accessing a monthly membership in which he can obtain benefits. Likewise, the problem in the train stations will be analyzed taking into account the point of view of the people who move in these units transport. With this, we can identify the main discomforts they face when they want to recharge their cards and propose solutions taking into account our mobile application backed by the increasing use of applications in Lima consumers according to Diario Gestión. For this reason, we opted to offer a simple and useful application that can satisfy the client's needs. In the area with a strong past where river Flon was covered with 3 horizontal platforms and changed into industrial area there is now a new cultural center of the city growing. Our diploma thesis is a proposal to transform one of the blocks into a municipal library of Lausanne. The library is conceived as two objects turned towards each other with even and silk double glass facade as if it was one object sliced into two. It creates an exterior space in the system of whole platform. Interior is a system of bigger spaces, where you can go to light, and smaller spaces, where you can go for silent and concentration.

CONVERGENCE OF PATHS Within the vast urban fabrics live many threads of paths. These paths weave in, out, diagonal, above and underground forming city blocks that we well know. Events happen when these paths interact. They either weave into each other or separate into many. Sometimes a force or desire within the urban layout is so strong that cuts through the threads and weaves a new path that needs to be discovered. The thorn threads become the manifesto of the desire and the spectacle of event. A place is created. When a singular path reaches a point of convergence with another path, their energy merge and transforms into a moment. There is a desire of purposely converge and communicate these paths into unexpected spatial encounters. At the point of convergence, strangers paths merge into each other blending all together into a spider wed of logical confusion, they briefly loose orientation, change form and ultimately experience an event in common. / Master of Architecture

[pt] A mobilidade urbana tem sido objeto de manifestações e estudos por parte de leigos, acadêmicos, políticos e planejadores urbanos. Nos centros já densamente povoados, o metrô é o único modal capaz de escoar o grande volume de pessoas que necessitam se deslocar nos horários de pico. Entretanto, o retardamento na execução da rede de metrô, no município do Rio de Janeiro, é agravado pelas alterações nos projetos que expõem a carência na utilização das ferramentas de logística disponíveis na tomada de decisão pelos gestores públicos. Os traçados devem reduzir o tempo necessário ao deslocamento e otimizar a redistribuição do fluxo de passageiros. No caso em estudo, essa otimização pode ser obtida com a ligação das estações Uruguai e Gávea/Jóquei, conforme projeto licitado em 1998. Em particular, esta tese avalia uma das linhas de expansão do Metropolitano do Rio de Janeiro, a linha 4, por forma a inferir da sua adequação para melhorar a mobilidade urbana daqueles que se deslocam da Zona Oeste para o Centro, via Zona Sul. A linha 4 será avaliada por oposição a uma linha alternativa que liga as estações Uruguai e Gávea/Jóquei, conforme projeto licitado em 1998 e que permitiria definir uma rede circular. / [en] In recent years, urban mobility has been a major topic of debate among general public, academics, politicians and urban planners. Despite public policy programmes on mobility kick-started by the City Statute (Estatuto das Cidades), the resources invested in Brazil have not produced significant improvement in the quality of public transport in metropolitan areas, culminating instead in mass public demonstrations in June 2013. According to calculations made by the Federation of Industries of the State of Rio de Janeiro (FIRJAN), taking into account loss of production and additional expenditure on fuel, among other variables, the cost of traffic congestion in Rio de Janeiro metropolitan area amounted to 29 billion reais in 2013, the equivalent of 8.2 percent of the area s GDP and higher than the GDP of the states of Piaui and Tocantins. Against this background of increasing urban immobility, investment in public transport, as against private transport, has become a priority.
