Quelles contextualisations pour l’enseignement du français hors de France ?Cette thèse se propose d’étudier la problématique de la contextualisation de l’enseignement du français hors de France. Basé sur des enquêtes de terrain menées en Louisiane et en Australie Occidentale, ce travail de recherche s’inscrit dans une démarche compréhensive et cherche, d’une part, à analyser les orientations didactiques mises en œuvre pour l’enseignement du français en portant une attention particulière aux éventuelles formes de contextualisation présentes dans cet enseignement et, d’autre part, à donner des éléments de réponse explicitant les raisons de ces choix. A partir de l’étude de deux terrains présentés d’un point de vue historique et sociolinguistique, cette recherche interroge la perspective de l’enseignement du français hors de France entre universalisme et contextualisation en tentant d’éclairer sa construction et d’explorer les principaux facteurs de contextualisation, avant de proposer quelques pistes pour une évolution. / Which contextualization of the teaching of French outside of France ?The purpose of this thesis is to study the contextualization of French-language didactics outside France. Based on fieldwork conducted in Louisiana and Western Australia, this research is part of a comprehensive approach. Firstly, I will analyse the didactic guidelines for French-language teaching with a close look at the eventual forms contextualization. Secondly, I will explain the reasons for these choices.This research is based on the historical and sociolinguistic study of two cases examining whether the teaching of French outside France is strictly based on a universal perspective or whether it can be contextualized. I will also analyse the factors of contextualization involved and will suggest some means of evolution.

The aim of this literature study is to find out how four Swedish scholars identify themeaning of the subject religious education in Sweden. Thereafter the result of theSwedish scholars interpretation is to be compared with British theories on how religiouseducation may be applied in schools through different strategies and principlesdeveloped by five different RE scholars.The method used in this thesis is a systematic literature study with a qualitative hermeneuticmethod. The empirical literature is analyzed and interpreted by me and thereafterplaced in the right context to read how the scholars view the subject. Accordingto the scholars and the Swedish curriculum, the results showed that the Swedishscholars have a similar view on what they think is the meaning with RE. The fundamentalidea is that the education should be child-centered and evolve around pupilsknowledge, background and abilities to attain the purpose of the subject. Which willlead to an immersed knowledge, understanding, respect and tolerance for different religiouspositions.Both the British and the Swedish scholars agreed that the dominating secular and atheistpoint of view in the classrooms and in the society, constitutes challenges for theteachers to apply the different strategies to achieve the meaning of RE. The Swedishscholars opine that the RE needs to contribute to learning about and learning fromreligions through different perspectives that show religions from the inside perspectiveand the outside perspective.

Navegação hidroviária interior no RS : vantagem econômica comparada aos outros modais e implantação do calado sazonal

O Rio Grande do Sul possui um grande potencial para a navegação interior devido à extensão de sua rede hidrográfica de quase 2200 km, sendo 930 km navegáveis. Aliado a isto, na última década o estado apresentou um crescimento econômico em relação ao Produto Interno Bruto (PIB) de 167,2 %, segundo a Fundação de Economia e Estatística/RS. Mesmo com estas condicionantes favoráveis constata-se que o modelo atual da estrutura logística da movimentação de cargas continua a não privilegiar o setor hidroviário interior. Tendo em vista estes aspectos, esta dissertação apresenta um estudo cujos objetivos são: (i) identificar a representatividade do modal hidroviário interior em relação à movimentação de cargas, destinadas à exportação e importação, da metade norte do Rio Grande do Sul aos principais terminais privados hidroviários e ao porto público, localizados na cidade de Rio Grande; (ii) comparar o modal hidroviário com seus principais concorrentes, os modais rodoviário e ferroviário e (iii) avaliar o impacto econômico da adoção do calado sazonal. Para a comparação dos modais foram escolhidos três parâmetros que estabelecem custos em relação à tonelada quilometro transportada, são eles: custo médio de operação; custo despendido com combustíveis; e custos sociais. Após as informações coletadas foram processadas e analisadas, possibilitando identificar os custos gerados por cada modal. Na comparação destaca-se que o custo dos modais rodoviário e ferroviário são respectivamente 1541% e 405% maior do que o hidroviário interior e que a carga movimentada pelos três modais, em 2011, representou um custo total de R$ 1,79 bilhões, ou seja, 0,65% do PIB estadual. Na avaliação da adoção do calado sazonal foi estudado o possível ganho em termos de capacidade de transporte de cargas e a redução de custos gerada pela utilização do transporte hidroviário interior, no Rio Grande do Sul, decorrentes da possível implantação da permissividade de um calado sazonal, em função da variação histórica dos níveis de água, verificados através das curvas de permanências em nove estações pluviométricas localizadas na Laguna dos Patos e no Lago Guaíba. Constatou-se que a adoção do calado sazonal, no ano de 2011, teria um impacto de redução de custos de transporte na ordem de R$ 40,7 milhões, considerando a migração do modal rodoviário para o hidroviário e de R$ 10,1 milhões se fosse considerado a migração do modal ferroviário para o hidroviário. / The state of Rio Grande do Sul (RS), in Brazil, has a significant potential for internal navigation due to the extent of its drainage network of almost 2,200 km, of which 930 km are navigable. Allied to this, in the last decade the state had an economic growth in relation to Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of 167.2%, according to the Foundation of Economics and Statistics/RS. Even with these favorable conditions it appears that the current model of logistic structure of shipment continues to not emphasis on the internal waterway sector. Considering these aspects, this dissertation presents a study whose objectives are: (i) identify the representativeness of the interior waterways in relation to handling, for export and import, the northern half of Rio Grande do Sul to the main private terminals waterway and the public port, located in the city of Rio Grande , (ii) compare the waterways with its main competitors, the road and rail modes, and (iii) evaluate the economic impact of the adoption of the draft season. To compare the modals, three parameters that establish costs in relation to the tone kilometers transported were chosen, they are: average cost of operation, cost spent on fuel, and social costs. After the data were processed and analyzed, it was possible to identify the costs generated by each mode. In comparison it is emphasized that the cost of road and rail modes are respectively 405% and 1541% higher than the inland waterway and the shipment handled by the three modes, in 2011, represented a total cost of R$1.79 billion, i.e. 0.65% of the state GDP. In assessing the adoption of the draft seasonal possible gain was studied in terms of load carrying capacity and reducing costs generated by the use of inland waterway transport, in Rio Grande do Sul, from the possible deployment of the permittivity of a quiet season in function of the historical variation in water levels, checked through the curves stays in nine rainfall stations located in the Patos Lagoon and Lake Guaiba. It was found that the adoption of the draft season , in 2011, would have an impact of reducing transport costs in the order of R$40.7 million, considering the migration from road transport to waterways and R$10.1 million if found migrating the railroad to the waterway.

This thesis discuss the matter of non-profit-making associations as a self regulatory technique out of a theoretical concept of power. The object for the study is the non-profit-making association Ditt Nya Hageby, which work in the neigborhood of Hageby, a suburb to Norrköping. In the study the association is placed in a contemporary postmodern social context and analyzed through semi- structured qualitative interviews, accordingly to hermeneutical method, with five active members of the association as informants. The association consists of members who lives in the neighborhood. Together with a hired organizer they realizes their own ideas in to projects which unquestionably improves the social and physical enviroment in Hageby. The author of this thesis, however argues their activities also can be looked at in a normative way concerning social order in a non-compelling sence. Thus the author means that the association, in this particular sense, could be understood theoretically by implying Michel Foucaults govermentality concept. In order to reach the final conclusion the informants experience concerning sense of community and identity in relation to Ditt Nya Hageby is analyzed. Further theoretical framework is provided by Ferdinand Tönnies concepts of gemeinschaft/gesellschaft and Jürgen Habermas civil publicity. The paper also accounts for what the authorbelieves to be the ideological/methodological basis for Ditt Nya Hageby’s activities by presenting and discussing the"from the inside out"-perspective which is recomended by John P. Kretzman&John.L McKnight regarding the reconstruction, in a wider sense, of exposed neigborhoods.

Characterization and the study of the behavior of transporting cold plasmas in dielectric capillary tubes and their applications / La caractérisation et l'étude du comportement de transport de plasmas froids dans des tubes capillaires diélectriques et leurs applications biomédicales

Nous avons développé une décharge transportée fonctionnant à la pression atmosphérique. Le générateur fonctionne en mode alternative avec une fréquence d’excitation variant entre 1 et 10kHz. Grace à une forme d'onde en dents de scie, il a été possible de transporter la décharge à l’intérieur d’un tube sur une longueur qui pourrait atteindre 200cm. L’influence des différents paramètres tels que la forme de la tension appliquée, le diamètre du tube et la configuration d’électrode, sur la formation de la décharge a été étudié. La nature des espèces excitées à l’intérieur et extérieur du tube a été identifié par Spectroscopie Optique d’Emission. La propagation de la décharge dans un système multi jets et un jet unique de la même section a été comparée. L’influence de ces deux types de jets transportés exposés aux bactéries de type E. coli a été étudiée et les résultats montrent que la zone d’inactivation des bactéries augmente significativement.De plus le potentiel de cette décharge pour le traitement de surface et dépôt des couches minces de polymère a été investigué aussi bien à l’extérieur qu’à l’intérieur du tube capillaire pour la première fois. Nous avons employé deux types de précurseurs: le TEOS, et le DEGME. Sous certaines conditions, les couches de type PEG présentant des propriétés antiadhésives des cellules ont été déposées sur le PS. Afin d’étudier les modifications de surface créées sur les polymères par cette décharge. Les résultats obtenus par des méthodes d’analyse différentes montrent qu’à part l’oxydation de la surface du UHMWPE nous pouvons déceler une insaturation de la surface qui est souvent accompagnée de la réticulation de la surface. / We have developed a transporting discharge source that can operate at atmospheric pressure. The device is working by using AC power supply with a frequency ranging between 1 to 10 kHz. The sawtooth waveform enabled the transport of discharge as long as 200 cm. The different parameters that affect the plasma delivery such as voltage of the waveforms, tube diameter and electrode configuration were investigated. The electronically excited and active species inside and outside of the plasma channel were characterized by Optical Emission Spectroscopy. The electrical and temporal characteristics of the plasma, discharge power and charges on the sample were investigated. The propagation of transporting discharge with multi-jets and a single jet with the same cross-sectional area has been compared. Also, E.coli bacteria were exposed to the transporting discharge multijets and single jet for different time durations.The potential of the transported discharge for the surface treatment of polymers and deposition of thin films has been investigated. Two different precursors namely TEOS, and DEGME have been employed for the elaboration of thin organic coatings by introducing the precursors inside and at the exit of the capillary tube. The PEG like coatings obtained in the case of DEGME on PolyStyrene films showed for particular operating conditions nonadhesive coatings with respect to Ovary Carcinoma Celles. In order to study the surface modification effects of the discharge, the Ultra High Molecular Weight PolyEthylene was used as the substrate in the two different configurations. The results show that besides the oxydation of the UHMWPE, crosslinking takes place.

Doppler-free spectroscopy of acetylene in near infrared spectral region inside photonic band gap fiber

Master of Science / Department of Physics / Kristan L. Corwin / We investigate the nonlinear spectroscopy of acetylene in the near infrared region inside a photonic band gap fiber. The near infrared region of the optical spectrum is an area of intensive research due to its relevance to telecommunication and optical metrology. Acetylene provides a large number of reference transitions coincident with the international telecommunication band. Acetylene contains about 50 strong lines between 1510 nm and 1540 nm in the ν1+ν3 ro-vibrational combination band. We have observed the Doppler-free saturated spectrum of several of these lines. The light from a tunable diode laser at ~1531 nm, resonant with the P(11) transition, is amplified by an erbium doped fiber amplifier and split into a strong pump beam and weak probe beam which counter-propagate inside the gas-filled fiber. The measured Doppler linewidth of the P(11) line at room temperature is about 467 MHz wide. The sub-Doppler profile over a pressure range of 200-1600 mT appears as a narrow absorption feature about 20-40 MHz wide, even at the low pump power of ~10 mW. It is found that for a fiber with an 80 cm length, 20 core size, pumped with 29 mw, the optimum pressure is ~530mT. But the optimum pressure condition will further decrease when the fiber length increases.

The break is an important element in educational activities. Previous research shows that the free form of the break gives much more leeway for students to act independently but that it is sometimes at the expense of some students. The purpose of this study is to further investigate how one works within the recreational home to counter social exclusion and exclusion among students at the break. The study has an emphasis on data collected from interviews. These have been conducted with professionals working in the leisure home. Results are reported in four themes identified in the processing of collected empirical data. The study concludes that staff attach great importance to norms. Regarding the work towards creating exclusion, much of their work during the break refers to being an active part of the students' play. This is to be able to communicate inclusive norms and create a common sense among the students. / Rasten är ett viktigt element inom pedagogiska verksamheter. Tidigare forskning har betonat att rastens natur och den frihet som medföljer utgör en plattform för elever att ta till större handlingsutrymme som ibland kan resultera i att vissa elever blir socialt exkluderade. Det blir således ibland blir på bekostnad av de elever som hamnar utanför och socialt exkluderas från gemenskapen. Denna studie har som syfte att närmare undersöka hur man inom fritidshemmet jobbar för att motverka social exkludering och utanförskap bland elever på rasten. Studien bygger på insamlade data från genomförda intervjuer med verksamma inom fritidshemmet. Resultat redovisas i fyra teman som identifierats vid bearbetning av insamlade empiri. Studien konkluderar att personalen fäster stor vikt vid normer. Beträffande arbetet mot att utanförskap skapas avser stor del av deras arbete under rasten till att vara en aktiv del i elevernas lek. Detta för att kunna förmedla inkluderande normer och skapa en samsyn bland eleverna.

The thesis covers a proposal of extention of portfolio of services of GRANTECH limited liability company. It is divided into three parts. The first one is based on theoretical starting points. It describes in details some chosen methods which explore inside and outside surroundings of the company. In the second part of the thesis, it means in the analytical part, these methods apply to the company itself. The third part contains suggestions of extension of services portfolio which will lead to an increase of competitive ability. The thesis represents a document which will help the company owner to realise the suggested changes.
