邊疆是國家領土的一部分,有邊疆便有邊疆政策。中國邊疆族支眾多,為適應邊疆地 位之重要、地形之特殊,環境之複雜,幾千年來,無論中華民族中任何一族系掌握中 原政權,均各有其治邊方針。 本論文旬在研究 國父與先總統 蔣公的邊疆政策思想,全文約八萬餘字,共分六章 十二節,各章要點如下﹕ 第一章 緒論,首先說明邊疆定義、特質及邊疆政策之意義。 第二、三、四章 國父「民族」、「民權」、「民生」主義邊疆政策思想。此三章之第一節簡略敘述「 民族」、「民權」、「民生」之要旨。其第二節仍蒐集國父三民主義及相關的言論、 著作中包含邊疆政策思想,以說明 國父對邊疆亦相當重視。 第五章 先總統 蔣公邊疆政策思想,蒐集 蔣公有關邊疆政策思想,並加以討論 蔣公將邊疆政策實施於蒙藏及台灣山地的成果。 第六章 結論。探討對當前邊疆應有的認識,及光復大陸後邊疆政策的原則。

CHINA’S MUSICAL REVOLUTION: FROM BEIJING OPERA TO YANGBANXI

This study seeks to investigate the modern derivative of Beijing opera, known as yangbanxi, through macro and micro approaches. The first part of the thesis surveys the development of Beijing opera under the historical context and in its social, political, and cultural perspectives. The second part, taking a microscopic perspective, undertakes an in-depth analysis of the compositions that were solely created by composer Yu Huiyong. First, it assays the application of Yu’s theory to his compositions of various Beijing opera arias. Second, it analyzes Yu’s instrumental music in compositional dimensions such as material, structure, and techniques, considering the larger implications of Yu’s approach. Third, it explores the highly acclaimed opera Azalea Mountain as a case study, integrating compositional analysis and sociopolitical perspective in order to give a relatively full picture of Yu’s final work as sole composer. The analysis also focuses on three aspects of the yangbanxi. The first aspect is the role of composers, in which Yu Huiyong was largely responsible for shaping the musical language and influencing the direction of Beijing opera. The second aspect is the role of politics, focusing on Jiang Qing, who had a clear vision to transform Beijing opera along revolutionary lines and the artistic and political wherewithal to implement that transformation. The third aspect is the role of culture in shaping society, with an emphasis on yangbanxi, as the artistic centerpiece of the Cultural Revolution, and special consideration is given to its role in creating a new mass culture. Beijing opera, as a living art form, had been undergoing a process of modernization throughout the first half of the twentieth century, but it was Yu Huiyong who clearly articulated what needed to be done to make the traditional art form relevant to modern audiences. In particular, the most significant achievement of yangbanxi was its music development, which achieved a new height in artistic development thanks to Yu Huiyong’s fully constructed music theory and newly established music and performance system. As the main composer, designer, theorist, and organizer of yangbanxi, Yu Huiyong made the greatest contribution to these developments. His academic research laid the theoretical framework of the further development of opera music, and his hands-on practice and music innovation provided valuable experience for the younger generation.

本文採取道教文獻研究方法,以蔣叔輿(1162-1223)所撰的《無上黃籙大齋立成儀》為例子,探討南宋道教黃籙齋儀的發展與變革。 / 黃籙齋儀是具有久遠歷史發展之道教科儀,其儀式傳統可接源六朝道教科範。蔣叔輿承其師留用光(?-1206)的啟導,從六朝靈寶經典中編修齋儀,其中《金籙簡文》和《黃籙簡文》的科範更是蔣氏整理「古法」黃籙齋儀時最重要的參考;而內容則以懺謝為中心。 / 另一方面,在一個新科儀、新法術傳統出現之變革時代,南宋黃籙齋也不可避免地出現了一些新變革,其中最明顯是文書系統和薦拔度亡儀式的加入。 / 黃籙齋之文書系統,是一個涉及「文書」、「天上官署」、「印篆」、「法」、「籙」的龐大系統;這是吸收了世俗行政文書之應用,亦是道教科儀能區別於一般民間祭祀的重要特點。另各法派之文書系統、印篆運用、對行儀者法籙要求也各成一系,這亦是讓我們判別不同法派齋儀的重要依據。 / 此外,南宋黃籙齋晚上新增的度亡儀式,包括了破獄、召魂、沐浴、設斛、鍊度、傳戒環節,並會分正薦亡魂、普薦幽魂兩線並行,而且兩種薦度的重點也不一樣。對比「古法」黃籙齋儀,這些新儀式更著重採用行符、存想、唸呪的法術來薦拔度亡。然而通過對這些法術行持的分析,又會發展其源與六朝道教經科有不少聯繫。 / 南宋黃籙齋儀一方面延續了六朝靈寶黃籙齋儀懺謝的傳統,另一方面又能確保齋儀能從新法術中吸取養份,以更有效而全面地拔度亡魂。《無上黃籙大齋立成儀》的黃籙齋儀同時存在著新、古兩類儀式;這種試圖於新法術和舊傳統中以爭取平衡,只怕亦是南宋黃籙齋在儀式變革的一種體現。 / This thesis adopts the study of Daoist liturgical texts, based on Standardized Rituals of the Supreme Yellow Register Retreat (WushangHuanglu dazhai licheng yi 無上黃籙大齋立成儀) written by Jiang Shuyu 蔣叔輿 (1162-1223), to investigate the development and transformation of rituals of the Yellow Register Retreat (Huanglu zhai 黃籙齋). / The thesis attempts to demonstrate that rituals of the Huanglu zhai had a long historical Daoist ritual background. The rituals could be tracked back to the liturgies of Six Dynasties. Jiang Shuyu was inspired by his teacher Liu Yongguang 留用光 (?-1206) to compile the rituals of Retreat (zhai 齋) from Lingbao 靈寶 scriptures. Among the scriptures, Jinlu jinwen 金籙簡文 and Huanglu jinwen 黃籙簡文 were the most important references for Jiang to compile "old ways"(gufa 古法). The central idea of them is confession and apology (chanxie 懺謝). / It was an era with the transformation of new rites, the Huanglu zhai in Southern Song unavoidably brought in some reforms. The most obvious two examples were the application of the system of written-documents (wenshu 文書) and the ritual of salvation of souls (duwang 度亡). / The system of written-documents in the Huanglu zhai is enormous and it involved written-documents, supernal offices (guanshu 官署), stamps (yin 印), rites (fa 法) and register (lu 籙). It absorbed the administrative documents system. And it was a crucial differentiation between Daoist ritual and folk sacrifice. Different rites adopted different systems of written-documents, different use of seals and different requirements on the ritual master. These are important evidences for us to differentiate various traditions of the rituals of zhai. / Besides that, the Huanglu zhai of Southern Song introduced the ritual of salvation of souls at night, including breaking the hell, summoning the souls, bathing, feeding, refining and teaching the precepts. They were divided into two parallel lines, the salvation of the ancestors and the universal salvation of orphan souls, and their focus were different. Comparing to Lingbao "old ways", these new salvation of souls rituals valued more on sending talismans (fu 符), visualization (cunxiang 存想), and chanting incantations (nianzhou 唸呪). And through analyzing these practices, we discovered that the origin has many connections with the scriptures and liturgies of Six Dynasties. / The ritual of Huanglu zhai, on the one hand continued the practice of confession and apology of LingbaoHuanglu zhai ritual in Six Dynasties, on the other hand it ensured the ritual could absorb new elements from the new rites in order to save the souls effectively and thoroughly. The ritual of Huanglu zhai in WushangHuanglu dazhai licheng yi included both old and new rituals. It tried to strike a balance between the new practice and the old tradition. A Study on the Marketing Strategies of Festivals ~ A Case Study on the Activity about the Neimen Song Jiang Battle Array in Kaohsiung

Recently, the festival activities who hold in Taiwan not only promote the development of related industries, but also directly rise regional ecomomic productivity value. In past, the related study about the festival activities usually focused on North Taiwan. Generally speaking, the administrative and financial resource who were gotten by North Taiwan was better than South Taiwan. To understand the marketing strategies of festivals in South Taiwan, the study will focus on the festival activity in South Taiwan to Further speaking, the study will focus on the ¡§Neimen Song Jiang Battle Array in 2009¡¨. By this case study, we will discuss whether the government supports the activity by administrative recourse. On the other hand, we will explore the effect on marketing strategies whether impact on festival activity. In research method, we will take on the relative of difference population statistic variables and the scatification on customers. Second, we will take interview method to understand the practice situation by different groups. In our result, we find the marketing strategies of festivals almost lack the support of government sector and only depend on civil groups. The role of festival acaticities can satisfy the demand of consumers, and promote visitors who can experience the culture meanings and infrastructure. On the other hand, the visitors pay attention on the level of restaurant and hotel side, but unsatisfy on walking line and commodity sale side.

Study on the Predicament and Transformation of Festivals with Local Characteristics : An Example of Song Jiang Jhen Battle Array in Neimen, Kaohsiung

Local festivals have become a significant resource and trend in regional development. In Taiwan, there are twelve important local festivals; only the Song Jiang Jhen Battle Array in Neimen, Kaohsiung has been listed for the Kaohsiung area. It reveals its local characteristics and traditions, as well as the cultural intention. However, most related researches focused on issues of visitors¡¦ behavior and tourist satisfaction; no analysis and review of implementation facets was completed. This qualitative research was carried out with the festival of Song Jiang Jhen Battle Array in Neimen, Kaohsiung taken as the case study. By conducting a textual analysis, participant observation and in-depth interview, the study aims to explore the following four facets relate to the implementation of the festival, i.e. organization operation, content planning and management, community participation and marketing strategy. Furthermore, after analyzing the contents of literature and case review, 14 indicating items were generalized from each facet so that the status of conducting the Song Jiang Jhen Battle Array in Neimen, Kaohsiung can be reviewed. Its indicating items and main factors of success that conform to a great festival were analyzed. The predicaments encountered in its development were also researched. Relevant proposals of transformation strategy was provided and submitted to the organizers of local government as applicable strategies for future activity arrangement. The study results showed that the Song Jiang Jhen Battle Array in Neimen, Kaohsiung completely conforms to the pattern of a successful festival and the indications include: the attitude of the organizer in arranging sustainable activities, the unique theme, cultural characteristics and local imagery, diversity and creativity of activity concepts, as well as the contribution of community organization and local volunteers. Some indications did not conform to the festival, such as the interaction with visitors/tourists, atmosphere and management of the field, infrastructure and traffic network. Other indications partly conformed to the success of the festival. The interviewees particularly pointed out that the key successful factors of the Song Jiang Jhen Battle Array in Neimen, Kaohsiung include: regularly held every year; the support of authorities; the characteristics and creativity both attract many visitors; the assistance of experienced operators; religious beliefs and folk culture; TV live transmission of the competitions; etc. The predicaments it faces include: lack of a set budget; no cooperation among three local temples: they are operating units with the venue changing annually; no profound connection with local industries; the festival¡¦s purpose does not conform to the traveling mechanism; no guidance for a long-term planning; focus only on local prospects; local government does not care much about tourism; no gathering of community strength; the date of the activity cannot be confirmed as early as possible; the scope of marketing between local and central government is varied and most of the marketing ideas are focused on the creative Song Jiang Jhen Battle Array. Seven transformation strategies were suggested in this study: establishing a communication platform for cooperative units having an interest relationship for this festival, the traditional perspective cannot be abandoned in a traditional event, ¡§originality¡¨ brings out the validity and uniqueness of the festival, a great atmosphere has been made by having an appropriate field management, the festival benefits can be extended to other events, the intention of community development can become the energy supporting local festivals and the festival marketing can go beyond merely promoting the festival.

Doctor Educationis / Diabetes has since been a global epidemic; an estimated 5.0 million deaths of diabetes in the world have been recorded; one in 11 adults have diabetes (415 million); and by 2040, one adult in 10 (642 million) will have diabetes. In Africa, more than two thirds of people with diabetes are undiagnosed, and 42 million have diabetes in the Sub-Saharan region with 324 877 adult deaths in South Africa (IDF, 2015). The global prevalence (age-standardized) of diabetes has nearly doubled since 1980, rising from 4.7% to 8.5% in the adult population. This reflects an increase associated with risk factors such as overweight or obese (WHO, 2016). Medicinal plants on the other hand, have played a significant role in the treatment and prevention of diabetes for centuries. In South Africa, indigenous medicinal plants have increasingly been used in the treatment of diabetes. In this study, a new anti-diabetes herbal compound named Jiang Tang 2016 (JT2016), made of three well researched South African indigenous medicinal plants is investigated for its hypoglycemic effects in HFD/STZ induced diabetic SD rats. These plants have been used for centuries in the indigenous system of medicine against various ailments, they are easily accessible, they grow in abundance, and are economically sustainable

宋詞研究學者提出許多詞律上的規定與特色,然而有關宋詞詞調之間的互動研究仍相當缺乏,因此本研究旨在探討北宋詞人姜夔的十七首自度曲當中語言形式的規定與音樂的關係。本篇研究包含語料庫與理論分析,其中語料庫分析針對結構、節奏與聲調歸納出姜夔十七首詞當中的傾向,並佐以數據分析。理論分析根據優選理論的框架說明姜夔作品中的語言形式如何選擇,並證實所有輸出值皆可用階級式制約來決定。本篇研究希望能解釋宋詞中語言與音樂的關係並為詞牌規定提出不同觀點。 / Researchers of Song verses have often proposed the rules to describe the poetic composition, but few have focused on the interactions between verse language and music. Therefore, the aim of the study attempts to explore how music and the linguistic requirements are related in Jiang Kuei’s seventeen verses. This research involves a corpus-based and a theoretical analyses. The corpus-based analysis focuses on structure, rhythm and tone to generalize the patterns of Jiang’s verses on a statistic basis. Under the framework of Optimality Theory, the theoretical analysis explains Jiang’s linguistic and musical arrangements in verses and confirms that the output forms are determined by a hierarchy of constraints. To conclude, this study sheds new light on the relationship between music and language and provides a fresh perspective on the Song verse formats.
