De Saxcé, Anne 10 March 2017 (has links)
First in De libero arbitrio, then in De ciuitate Dei, Augustine describes his theory of affectivity. In books IX and XIV of De ciuitate Dei, he objects to the Stoician theory of apatheia and the Platonician dualism. He points out the Christian idea of affectivity, which considers the affects depending on the will. In this way, emotions are parts of the Augustinian ordo amoris. They are good if they reveal a true love of the good. In these texts however Augustine does not explain what kind of emotions heis thinking about. He gives no definition of them and does not analyse their interconnections. But in the rest of his writings, we can find various descriptions of several emotions. In this work we try to appreciate Augutine’s affectivity, by understanding that it is not predicated on the good will, but on the hope in the beata uita. This hope makes the thought of Augustin different from Stoician or Neoplatonician philosophy. From this point of view, we can understand how affectivity is linked tolanguage, how emotions are embodied by the voice, the respiration, the laughter and the tears, and how they are also a langage, which tells us the peregrinatio to the uita beata.

[pt] A CENTRALIDADE DO QUERIGMA NA EVANGELII GAUDIUM: IMPLICAÇÕES ECLESIOLÓGICAS E PASTORAIS / [en] THE CENTRALITY OF THE KERYGMA IN THE EVANGELII GAUDIUM: ECCLESIOLOGICAL AND PASTORAL IMPLICATIONS

EDMILSON JOSE DOS SANTOS 16 June 2023 (has links)
[en] The centrality of the kerygma in the Apostolic Exhortation Evangelii Gaudium, by Pope Francis, is the subject of this dissertation. Through the referred Apostolic Exhortation, the aim is to presente the kerygma as an inherent dimension of the evangelizing action, emphasizing the primacy of the proclamation of Jesus Christ and its implications in the ecclesiological and pastoral scope. Therefore, it was necessary to make explicit the meaning of kerygmatic evangelization in the mission of the Church, from the Second Vatican Council to the current pontificate. The theme of the kerygma, as the announcement of God s saving love revealed in Jesus Christ, permeats the entire Evangelii Gaudium and has its consequences in all pastoral action, both in the liturgy and is catechesis as well as in the service of charity and spirituality. From this analysis, it is expected to propose a kerygma theology that explains the vision of Christ and the Church underlyng the proclamation. It highlights the profile of Pope Francis, his Affinity with the perspectives of the Council, as well as the interpellationsof this time and the challenges of evangelization. We sought to adopt the methodology of the document under analysis, adding to the research the contribution of theologians who help the Church to discern the most aprropriate way to carry out the proclamation of the faith in the midst of changing times.

"Allt liv är möte" : En posthumanistisk läsning av Martin Bubers Jag och Du / "All real life is meeting" : A Posthumanistic reading of Martin Buber's I and Thou

Klawitter, Marie January 2023 (has links)
This work examines a relational ontology with the focus on our relationships with the more-than-human world. The aim is to investigate a subject that is more suitable to face the challenges of our times. Inspired by the posthumanistic project as presented by Rosi Braidotti I propose a non-anthropocentric reading of Martin Buber’s I and Thou. In the first section of the essay I present an overview of Buber’s understanding of the subject and I also answer the question whether we can consider the I-Thou relationship to include the non-human world. In part two I investigate the characteristics of such a relationship, covering as well the act of dialogue. This opens up for a new understanding of the subject as constituted by relationships including non-human others. As an example of how to protect living I-Thou relationships with non-human others through the I-It logic of law I present the case study of the river Wanganui in New Zealand and its newly acquired status as a subject by law. Finally I conclude by discussing a possible ethic where relational capacities are key.

Fritidshemmet – en trygg och lustfylld lärandearena : En diskursanalys av fritidspersonalens konstruktion av ideal för fritidshemmets verksamhet / Leisure time-center – a safe and joyful learning arena : A discourse analysis of the staff's construction of ideals for the leisure-time center's activities

Ehrlow, Patrik January 2021 (has links)
According to previous research, the leisure-time center has been in a field of tension between social-pedagogical and educational-pedagogical values since its integration with the school in the 1990s. Against this background, the purpose of the study is to shed light on the image of the leisure-time center that emerges in the staff's language. The question that is answered is: What ideals are constructed in the staff's language about planning the leisure-time center's activities? The study takes its theoretical starting point in social constructionism and its view of how knowledge and truths are created through language. The empirical material consisting of transcribed interviews with teachers in leisure-time center and observations of planning meetings with leisure staff is analyzed using a discourse analysis influenced by Foucault's theories. Four overarching ideals are identified in the study: the learning ideal, the safety ideal, the joy ideal and the consensus ideal. Taken together, the identified ideals/results show that the image of the leisure-time center that emerges has entailed an adaptation to the desired learning, but can still be said to be in the field of tension between social pedagogical and educational pedagogical values. /
Bedömande lärare: Charlotte Tullgren

Earth Forms

Mock, Janelle Marie Tullis 15 July 2010 (has links) (PDF)
Earth Forms narrates and explains the Masters Project Exhibition by the same name. The sculptures included in the exhibition, Earth Forms, use a variety of personal symbols centered on one stylized human head. Some of the symbols included are antlers, branches, coral, leaves, plants and stones. Each of these symbols represents personal ideas of balance, growth and decay. They also represent the earth from which we are formed and the earth to which our bodies will return at the end of life.
