Personnages et paysages dans Un beau ténébreux de Julien Gracq : réflexion sur la poétique romanesque gracquienne

Tableau d’honneur de la Faculté des études supérieures et postdoctorales, 2013-2014. / Au cours de cette étude, nous verrons combien les personnages d'Un beau ténébreux de Julien Gracq font place à des paysages grandioses qui se sur-impriment à l'humain jusqu'à la confusion. En premier lieu, nous nous pencherons sur la question du personnel romanesque. Nous éclairerons la construction des personnages du roman par clichés, par stéréotypes et par renvois. Nous observerons comment ses actants se dépersonnalisent et se déréalisent. Et nous aborderons la question du regroupement sous divers angles. Dans un second temps, nous étudierons le temps et l'espace romanesques, en portant une attention particulière à ce dernier. Nous mettrons en lumière les effets liés à la représentation du paysage chez Gracq. Nous considérerons le décor fictionnel en étudiant le style gracquien de près pour tenter d'en dégager certaines caractéristiques fondamentales. Ce faisant, nous envisagerons attentivement la relation qui s'établit dans le roman entre le personnage et son environnement.

Seu propósito central consiste em identificar as marcas do discurso oficial quanto às suas singularidades, ou seja, descrever, analisar, tentar resgatar efeitos de sentido resultantes dessa construção discursiva a partir das características observadas e aprendidas por meio de uma rede de traços pertinentes cujas relações façam sentido. O corpus foi organizado a partir do levantamento de campanhas governamentais no período de 2000 a 2009. Para tanto, as análises são baseadas nos princípios da Semiótica Greimasiana, a partir do percurso gerativo de sentido nos três níveis de organização do texto (os níveis fundamental, narrativo e discursivo). Em linhas gerais, os resultados apresentaram um direcionamento para a tradição, isto é, falas oficiais que se utilizaram de questões ligadas à natureza, dizendo respeito ao turismo ecológico, segmento que seria desenvolvido no Parque Nacional dos Lençóis Maranhenses. Tais discursos compreendem a natureza presente no Parque como um produto a ser comercializado pela atividade turística como forma de lazer. Mostram também que, para seduzir o seu público-alvo, a propaganda oficial constrói a imagem do lugar, partindo, sobretudo, de estereótipos turísticos indicativos da “vocação” natural do Nordeste para o desenvolvimento da atividade. A extensão da área que abrange o Parque Nacional dos Lençóis Maranhenses e suas características geológicas e naturais únicas foram os argumentos utilizados pelo setor público maranhense para promover esses atributos turísticos e fizeram com que o mesmo parecesse... / This study aims to investigate the discourse of the official propaganda about the Lençóis Maranhenses in order to identify the effects of meanings that were produced as discursive strategies for the publicizing of this place. Its main purpose is to identify the marks of the official discourse about their singularities, that is, to describe, to analyze and to try to recover the effects of the meanings which resulted from this discursive construction and also from the features observed and learned through a network of relevant traits whose relations make sense. The corpus was organized from a survey of government campaigns from 2000 to 2009. For this, the analyses are based on the principles of the Greimasian Semiotics, from the generative trajectory of meaning in the three levels of organization of the text (the basic, the narrative and the discursive levels). In general, the results showed a trend to tradition, that is, official speeches that are used according to issues related to nature, pertaining to eco-tourism which is a segment that might be developed in the National Park of the Lençóis Maranhenses. These discourses comprise the present nature in the Park as a product to be commercialized by the tourist activity as leisure. They also show that to tempt their target audience, the official propaganda builds the image of the place, mainly from the tourist stereotypes that indicate the natural voting of the Northeast for the development of the activity. The extent of the area which includes the National Park of the Lençóis Maranhenses and its unique geological and natural features were the arguments used by the maranhense public sector to promote these touristic attributes and made it seem to be like the “true” and “reliable” enunciatee. Assim como a videoarte e o cinema experimental e de vanguarda influenciaram sua configuração como produto midiático, observamos os recursos de produção presentes nos diferentes dispositivos de comunicação infoeletrônicos contribuindo na constituição de sua linguagem, criando experiências inovadoras nos modos de fruição e nas novas realidades de consumo. Nessa alteração na maneira de consumir e produzir os meios de comunicação observa-se que a interatividade é utilizada como um recurso das formas de produção e consumo da contemporaneidade. O objetivo deste trabalho é entender as mudanças nas relações de comunicação e formas de consumo do videoclipe em novos formatos, pautados pelos conteúdos interativos, possibilidades pelas tecnologias digitais das mídias contemporâneas. Após realizarmos um recenseamento das interações mediadas em ambientes informáticos a partir da linguagem nos estudos da comunicação, buscamos problematizar a semiotização da interatividade nos videoclipes. Para constituição do corpus, foram selecionados três projetos de videoclipe interativo desenvolvidos pelo diretor Chris Milk em parceria com a Google Data Arts, The Johnny Cash Project, The Wilderness Downtown e Three Dreams of Black. O referencial teórico-metodológico utilizado baseia-se... / The music video clip, while being an audiovisual production, had always been linked to contexts strongly influenced by image and sound new technologies, incorporating proceedings of the artistic making, but at the same time, penetrating the mass media environment which in turn is influenced by the strong presence of the logic of trade and market. In the same way vídeo art, vanguard and experimental cinema influenced the configuration of music video clip as a media product, we observe production resources present on the different info electronic communication devices, contributing to constitute its language, creating innovative experiences for the ways of enjoyment and on the new realities of consumption. In this change in the way communication media are produced and consumed we observe that interactivity is used as a resource for forms of production and consumption in contemporaneity. The objective of this work is to understand the changes in communication relations and forms of consumption of music vídeo clip in new formats, guided by interactive contents, enabled by the digital technologies of contemporary media. Après avoir proposé une définition opératoire du mythe littéraire, et suggéré, sous l’étiquette de « mytholectures », un mode d’approche de cet objet, le travail se subdivise en deux grandes parties. La première, diachronique, cherche à sonder le devenir historique du mythe de Perceval, de Chrétien de Troyes à nos jours ; il s’agit essentiellement d’observer comment la valeur et le sens du mythe se sont élaborés progressivement au fil de ses réécritures – comment chaque période, chaque auteur a rencontré le mythe sous un rapport singulier, susceptible de lui fournir un « miroir » qui reflète certaines de ses préoccupations et lui permette, parallèlement, de configurer son expérience du monde. Les principales étapes de ce parcours (qui touche à environ quatre-vingts auteurs) sont Richard Wagner et Julien Gracq. La seconde partie propose deux approches thématiques du mythe de Perceval : l’une d’elles est centrée sur la problématique familiale et les enjeux relationnels qui, de reprise en reprise, ne cessent d’être réinterprétés sous divers angles (dont Œdipe, cet « anti-Perceval » n’est jamais très loin). L’autre axe thématique s’intéresse à la propension marquée du mythe de Perceval à fonctionner comme modèle des deux pôles de l’activité littéraire que sont la lecture (quête de sens) et de l’écriture (quête poétique) : divers « arts poétiques percevaliens » (de Wagner à Perec, en passant par Proust ou Handke) closent ainsi le parcours. / After having outlined a functional definition of the “literary myth”, and having proposed a new way of approaching this object under the label “myrhoreadings”, the present work is divided into two main parts. The first one is diachronic. Its aim is to analyse the historical construction of the myth of Percival, from Chrétien of Troyes until now. The main purpose of this inquiry is to examine how the myth’s value and meaning were gradually elaborated through its rewritings, and how each period, each author have met the myth as a “mirror” reflecting his personal concerns and allowing him to configure his experience of the world. The main figures along this journey are (among about eighty authors) Richard Wagner and Julien Gracq. The second part proposes two thematic approaches to the myth of Percival: the first one focuses on the family issues and the relational stuctures central to most of the rewritings of the myth (where Oedipus, this “anti-percival”, is rarely far away). The second theme examines the frequent use of this myth as a model for the two poles of the literary activity: reading (quest of meaning) and writing (poetic quest). A few “percivalian poetic arts” thus conclude this study, from Wagner to Proust, Handke or Perec.

Julien Freund (1921-1993) disait de son maître ouvrage, L'Essence du politique (1965), qu'il était le résultat d'une déception surmontée. De quelle déception s'agit-il et comment a-t-elle orienté le développement de sa pensée ? Voilà l'interrogation qui a guidé notre recherche. Notre premier chapitre aborde les années de préparation de l'œuvre de Freund, de son expérience de la Résistance aux lectures qui l'ont influencé : Aristote, Machiavel, Weber, Schmitt et Aron. Notre deuxième chapitre présente et explique les principaux arguments de L'Essence du politique, qui nous permettront de mieux comprendre la critique freundienne de l'utopisme dont nous parlerons dans notre troisième chapitre. Notre dernier chapitre explore les dimensions philosophique et anthropologique de l'œuvre freundienne. Au terme de ce développement, nous serons en mesure d'identifier la dynamique particulière de la pensée de Julien Freund, dynamique qui implique de façon essentielle la notion de résistance.
