The following tasks were set for the thesis: to analyse and systematize scientific literature of Lithuanian and foreign authors on the topic, to analyse the legal acts, adopted by the LR Government as well as strategical documents, regulating activities of science and technology parks, to assess impact of the economic, social and technologic environment upon development of the parks, to evaluate Public Institution Šiauliai University MTP development opportunities and directions: material, technologic and human resource bases. The work results will be employed in training of Public Institution Šiauliai University MTP staff, project preparation as well as presentation of MTP to the students and to the broader masses.

In the Final Paper, the problems of practical application of methods of investigation on links between profits and sales profitability as well as its importance and methodic aspects are analyzed. In order to establish the impact of the sales profitability and other factors that are inseparable from it on profits, Du Pont’s pyramidal analysis is performed in the Paper. It is proposed to use the methodics of flexible budget for a settlement of the problem of comparison of static indicators, because such methodics help to obtain more precise and comparable values. A considerable attention is paid to investigation and improvement of the link between the expenditure calculation systems and the analysis of profit-affecting factors. Applying the absorbing method of expenditure calculation, the analysis of links between expenses, volumes of sales and profits had been carried out. The investigation of supply and rational volumes of production on the base of the analysis helped to disclose the problems of the applicability of the method of investigation on marginal costs in practice, its complicated character and efficiency.

Setting background of scientific problem author notices that communication style of manager with employers, his work stile isn’t only personal but also social thing. From communication depends employer’s satisfaction of work, psychological background of collective and productivity of activity. Manager must know not only technique and technology but also people management and art background and its components: psychology, ethics, logic, etc. Manager should not only understand but also use this knowledge every day planning collective work and in interaction with employers. In other hand, we should analyze management stiles peculiarity, look at specific managers attributes. We also should analyze how managers recognize their role. Such information could give us understanding how management styles impacts to organization activity.
Research object – Peculiarity of management styles.

The master‘s paper formulates job motivation problems, analyses Lithuanian and foreign authors statements on job motivation aspect. Here is also detected correlation between motivational and demographical factors as well as identified the main factors making influence on job motivation in Šiauliai City budgetary organizations. The author proves her scientific research hypothesis that the motivation of an individual working for Šiauliai City budgetary organizations is influenced by groups of economical, psychological and philosophical motivators, however, the methods of psychological management play the greatest role. At the end of the master‘s paper outcomes and recommendations are submitted. On May 4th, 2006 the author took part in the 6th conference for Junior Researchers “Urgent Issues of Economics and Management” organized by Šiauliai University, Faculty of Social Sciences, and read the article: “The analysis of Job satisfaction in Budgetary Organizations of Šiauliai City: the Aspect of Remuneration”.

The paper deals with problems related to organisation development management. Works and researches by Lithuanian and foreign authors on the issues of organisation management, development, administration, transformations and organisational culture have been analysed and systematized. It has been found out that deep understanding, insight and administrative competences are necessary for organisation management. The analysis shows that organisation development is not a characteristic feature of every organisation. The process of development needs understanding and administration skills otherwise the organisation does not develop. Applying theoretical solutions and methods the analysis of the stock company „Lithuanian Railways“ Šiauliai branch „The Infrastructure of Šiauliai Railways“ has been carried out and included: the assessment of the performance of the branch, the analysis of its human resources and attitudes of the managers and the staff towards the dominating type of organisational culture in the company. The model of management of organisation development is proposed: how changes implemented in its management structure and organisational culture can transform its performance to a higher level. The hypothesis formulated by the author has not been proved: organisational culture and flexible management structure are not characteristic for the branch „The Infrastructure of Šiaulai Railways“ of the stock company „Lithuanian Railways“ as a developing organisation.

This study has an argument that the level of problems of religious education in secondary schools depend on the localization of the school (village and town schools). 30 religious teachers took participation in anonymous survey, who are taking lections at Šiauliai district schools. The main problems are the lack of training materials, methodical and organizational equipment. The educationists working in town have highly appraised the help of school administration and school-board. The lowest evaluation had the help of colleagues and co-workers. The educationists working in village schools have highly appraised school-board and the help of colleagues. The lowest evaluation had the help of religious community. According to the teachers, the help of the parents comes through the interest in child’s grades and problems. The least direct help was expected for a teacher and financial support. The approach was formulated for the development of religious education.

The objective of the present work is to evaluate the features of AB „Lietuvos telekomas“ as a learning and gaining knowledge organization. In the master’s final paper theoretical researches on learning organization of foreign and several Lithuanian authors are analyzed and systematized: conception, models and features of learning organization are discussed. A lot of attention is allotted to learning as information, knowledge creation and spread in business organization, for improvement of employee competence and basic competence. There was made an analysis of features expression of AB “Lietuvos telekomas” as a learning organization, basing on employees’ opinion, competence education centre representative’s viewpoint to this phenomenon, and documents regulating the company’s activity. The hypothesis was proved that the features of learning organization in the joint-stock company “Lietuvos telekomas” are expressed fragmentary; learning partially matches the holistic model described in the theoretical part.

This master’s work presents the analysis of the theoretical aspects of the organizational climate of Lithuanian and foreign authors in consideration of the peculiarities of financial mediation company, and the particularity of its activity. There is analyzed the concept of “organizational climate” and is presented the factors influencing the organizational climate in this work. With reference to scientific theoretical literature, a research of organizational climate has been carried out in SC bank “Snoras”, using a standardized “Test of Organizational Climate Crisis”, and evaluating the peculiarities and assumptions of the expression of organizational climate. This research together with the written report about it constitutes the main part of this master’s work. 51 respondents of SC bank “Snoras” Šiauliai branch have been examined in pre-test and 43 respondents representing 7 departments – in first and second retests. The data have been processed using the typical SPSS programme. It emerged that positive organizational climate dominates in SC bank “Snoras” Šiauliai branch, but critical dimensions of the expression of organizational climate have also been identified.

There is analysis of competence’s levels, a contact with activity, broad-brush conceptions of common competences and necessity of effective leadership in the organization’s context. There are assessed results of research, analyzed in detail problems of leader’s personalities, objective competences. The research showed that leader’s and workers’ relations have a huge influence to leader’s activities efficiency. Leaders become the main axis of organization, of their competence solutions depend all results of organization and luck of subjects. The organization will be that, what will be relations between people. Effective commanding leader should be able to assess people and their actions, to trust in his subordinates, to assess and understand them. That’s why, leader should have specific features, strong character and personal features, which have a huge meaning for quality of leadership.
