The theme of the diploma work is the education to media literacy. It concerns the common project linking to diploma work which theme is education to communication competency. Basic principles the work is based on are pragmatic pedagogy and project education. First part of the work is focusing on theory. The content of this work is dealing with the problem of media education. Second part of the diploma work is dealing with education to media literacy. Game and cooperation activities are emphasized which serve to train the interactive forms of communication. The endeavour is to develop the skills such as looking up, gaining, processing, evaluation and using of information which comes from media (newspapers, radio, television and internet). The component of this part is proposal of structure of practical projects for 6. up to 9. grade of the basic school.

Processos avaliativos em mÃdia-educaÃÃo / Evaluation processes in media-education

Conselho Nacional de Desenvolvimento CientÃfico e TecnolÃgico / Esta pesquisa investiga como as dissertaÃÃes publicadas nos anos 2005, 2010 e 2015, que estudam experiÃncias/polÃticas mÃdia-educativas no espaÃo escolar, analisam os resultados dessas aÃÃes e em quais parÃmetros se apoiam. Para tanto, recorremos à plataforma Biblioteca Digital de Teses e DissertaÃÃes (BDTD) do Instituto Brasileiro de InformaÃÃo, CiÃncia e Tecnologia (Ibict). A busca pelos textos a serem analisados foi feita atravÃs do cruzamento dos filtros ano de publicaÃÃo (2005, 2010 e 2015), nÃvel (dissertaÃÃo) e palavras-chave (mÃdia-educaÃÃo, educomunicaÃÃo, media literacy). ApÃs a escolha dos recortes de anÃlise foram identificadas 48 pesquisas em potencial que poderiam esclarecer essa questÃo. Foram definidos critÃrios adicionais de seleÃÃo e descarte dessas dissertaÃÃes e, ao final, o estudo se circunscreveu a um corpus de 05 trabalhos. SÃo eles: Ramos (2005), Viezzer (2005), Hack (2005), Farias (2010) e Ribeiro (2015). Para estudÃ-los, recorreu-se a 10 (dez) categorias de anÃlise: CompreensÃo de mÃdia-educaÃÃo, Objetivos da experiÃncia/polÃtica, Contexto da experiÃncia/polÃtica, Atores envolvidos, Tipos de aÃÃo, MÃdias/Aplicativos abordados, Temas abordados, MÃtodos de promoÃÃo, Auto-avaliaÃÃo e AvaliaÃÃo dos resultados. Ao final da investigaÃÃo, foi possÃvel identificar que os pesquisadores tendem a apresentar um resultado geral, sempre positivo, das prÃticas realizadas, indicando os ganhos da mÃdia-educaÃÃo para: formaÃÃo de sujeitos autÃnomos e mais crÃticos perante os discursos das mÃdias, transformaÃÃo dos sujeitos em produtores de comunicaÃÃo, atualizaÃÃo do processo de ensino-aprendizagem com base nas experiÃncias concretas dos estudantes, o uso das mÃdias como prÃtica libertadora de ensino-aprendizagem, entre outros. Os parÃmetros de avaliaÃÃo que fundamentam esta avaliaÃÃo, contudo, nem sempre sÃo explicitados. Tais estudos, portanto, trazem lacunas na fundamentaÃÃo de seus critÃrios de anÃlise sobretudo em relaÃÃo a avaliaÃÃo diagnÃstica dos atores envolvidos antes da realizaÃÃo da experiÃncia/polÃtica mÃdia educativa, a evoluÃÃo do cenÃrio antes e depois da experiÃncia/polÃtica mÃdia educativa e a distinÃÃo entre os resultados desejados e os aferidos. Como aspectos positivos dessas investigaÃÃes, contudo, à importante reconhecer que os pesquisadores brasileiros que se debruÃam sobre esse tema buscam formas de avaliar suas experiÃncias de modo a tornar possÃvel, em outros espaÃos, a reproduÃÃo das prÃticas que analisaram; que as prÃticas mÃdias-educativas sÃo adaptÃveis a diferentes realidades sociais, podendo ser aplicadas tanto a estudantes mais jovens como jà adultos; que o profissional da educaÃÃo necessita acompanhar os elementos concretos existentes no cotidiano dos estudantes e as mÃdias ocupam um lugar privilegiado em suas vidas; que o fetiche tecnolÃgico, por si sÃ, nÃo à suficiente para promover o processo de ensino-aprendizado e o fortalecimento do senso crÃtico de cidadania. / This study investigates how the dissertations published in 2005, 2010 e 2015, which evaluated experiences/policies focused on media education in school environment, analyzed the products of these actions and their parameters. Thus, we consulted the digital platform of thesis and dissertations (BDTD) of the Brazilian Institute of Information, Science and Technology (Ibict). The text search was carried out by crossing the following filters; year of publication (2005, 2010 and 2015), level (dissertation) and keywords (mÃdia-educaÃÃo, educomunicaÃÃo, media literacy). 48 potential studies were selected after choosing the types of analysis and additional criteria were used to select and discard the dissertations. Finally, our research compiled 5 studies; Ramos (2005), Viezzer (2005), Hack (2005), Farias (2010) and Ribeiro (2015). We used 10 categories for their proper understanding; comprehension of media education, experiences/policies goals, context, involved subjects, types of action, the applications which were used, themes, promotional methods, self-evaluation and evaluation of results. So, it was possible to identify that the researches commonly presented general positive results considering the actions which were carried out, remarking the benefits of media education to transform the subjects into media producers, contribute to their critical sense, improve their learning process based on individual experiences and media use, etc. However, evaluationÂs parameters are not commonly demonstrated, thought these studies lack their criteriaÂs basis in topics such as involved subjects before media education experiences/policies and distinction between the results that were aimed or measured. It must be mentioned that positive aspects were observed; Brazilian researchers who study this topic usually find new ways of evaluating their experiences and making them viable and possible in other scenarios and reproduce analyzed actions, reinforcing the concepts that media education is adaptable to different social realities, being applicable to young and older students, professionals involved in education need to understand concrete elements that are part of the studentsâ daily routine and media must have fundamental importance in their lives. So, technological fetish is not sufficient to promote the learning process and reinforcement of citizenshipÂs critical sense.

[pt] O presente trabalho apresenta os resultados de uma pesquisa de recepção da mídia rádio, empreendida com 46 crianças com idades entre 6 e 11 anos, com a finalidade de perceber a presença e relevância (ou não) dessa mídia em seu cotidiano. Nossa intenção, mais do que mapear os conteúdos ouvidos por elas, era compreender, a partir dos relatos das entrevistas, qual a importância e lugar dessa escuta para as crianças entrevistadas, e pensar as possibilidades de aprendizagem a partir da escuta. As entrevistas foram feitas com a utilização de um roteiro de questões, que procurava dar conta de itens pontuais sobre o uso das mídias no cotidiano dos sujeitos pesquisados, assim como avaliar o quanto o conteúdo das emissões radiofônicas é relevante para formação de gosto; o quanto dialoga com conteúdos aprendidos de outras fontes/instituições (pares, escola, família, igreja, outras mídias); o quanto e de que forma a escuta está presente em espaços cotidianos; o quanto e de que forma a escuta está presente em espaços educacionais.As perguntas e os filtros analíticos utilizados por esta pesquisa, estão baseados em autores que estudaram a recepção da mídia a partir da cultura e dos cotidianos, como Martin-Barbero (2009); Silverstone (2002) e Hartmann (2009) – que abordam a questão da mídia nas sociedades contemporâneas a partir de conceitos como casa, domesticação, mediatização, mediação e textura da experiência. Também procurei dialogar com autores que pensaram as especificidades da escuta e a educação pela escuta, como Schafer (1991, 2001) e Schaeffer (1966), e autores que articulam o conceito de território sonoro –que aqui aproximei às ideias sobre a constituição da textura da experiência –tomado a princípio em Obici (2008) que o elabora a partir de Deleuze e Guattari (2005). / [en] This paper presents the results of a reception research on radio , undertaken with 46 children aged 6 to 11 years, in order to realize the presence and relevance (or not) of the radio in their daily lives. Our intention, rather than map what they listen to, was to understand, from the reports of the interviews, how important is the listening to the children interviewed, and think about the possibilities of learning through listening.The interviews were conducted with the use of a list of questions, which concern to specific items about the use of media in everyday life of the individuals. The main concern was assess how the content of radio is relevant to cultural paterns; the relantionship between radio and the content learned from other sources or institutions (peers, school, family, church, other media); how much and how listening is present in everyday; how much and how listening is present in educational spaces.Questions and analytical filters used for this research are based on authors who have studied the media reception looking at culturals and daily life aspects, as Martin-Barbero (2009); Silverstone (2002) and Hartmann (2009) -that work the issue of media in contemporary societies with concepts like home, domestication, mediation, mediation and texture of experience. This thesisseeks dialogue with authors who work on issues about the listening and the education by listening, as Schafer (1991, 2001) and Schaeffer (1966), and with authors that articulate the concept of sound territory -which i think similar to the ideas of texture of experience -taken first at Obici (2008) that develops the concept from Deleuze and Guattari (2005).

The diploma thesis "Media Education in grammar school - Objectives and Reality" is focused on the introduction of a new topic in Czech schools - media education - as a part of the new reforms of the education system. The first part of the thesis defines the concept of media literacy in the context of different types of new literacies. Media education presents particular ways of how to increase media literacy. The thesis deals with the historical development of media education, various approaches to the media education movement, conditions abroad and questions under debate of this domain. The first part also illustrates different forms of media education in the Czech Republic, the new reform of media system and its formation, actual status of media education and its conception in mandatory documents. The second part of the thesis is empirical research that used the qualitative method focus group in discussion with students of grammar school. The research was executed in four groups. Students in two of the groups are passing at this moment subject of media issues, students in the other two groups never went over this subject.

This diploma thesis deals with the problematics of new media in the field of media education in the second stage of basic education. In the first part of the thesis, history of social media is presented. Their influence and conduct in society have changed with their mass growth. The development of media production presents risks which need to be faced through complex education of society; development of media literacy, digital literacy, critical thinking, and reading is therefore crucial. The theoretical part of this thesis describes how the age group of lower secondary education students utilizes media. Moreover, the reader is introduced to risks which adolescents face online, and subsequently, means of preparing students for these risks are devised. The second part of the thesis consists of three projects dealing with media literacy and critical thinking advancement. Students are learning to critically asses media messages and they examine all factors which influence message production. Furthermore, the students work with visual image material in a similar way, and they reflect on their own media and digital technology usage.

The main purpose of the thesis Mediální výchova na gymnáziích pohledem českých a německých pedagogů is to compare the conditions, practice, and goals of media studies at high schools in Prague and Leipzig and provide inspiration for both sides through this comparison. The theoretical part focuses on the role of the teacher, introduces educational concepts, and describes the historical development of media education and mentions of it in official documents both in Germany and the Czech Republic. The practical section of the thesis is dedicated to the teachers and their concrete opinions and experience with media education collected with the help of a series of questionnaires and half-structured interviews.

Problematische Nutzung von digitalen Medien (z. B. Onlinespiele, Social Media, aber auch Internetaktivitäten im Allgemeinen) hat in den letzten Jahren verstärkte Aufmerksamkeit in Wissenschaft und Öffentlichkeit gleichermaßen erfahren und stellt ein verhältnismäßig neues Themenfeld im Bereich der Verhaltenssüchte dar. So gaben z. B. im Wiener Suchtmonitoring aus dem Jahr 2017 acht Prozent der Befragten (N=600) an, dass sie die Gefahr sehen, selbst einmal „internet-/handysüchtig“ zu werden, und ein Viertel der Befragten sieht diese Gefahr bei Angehörigen. Beide Werte sind etwa gleich hoch wie jene für Alkohol und deutlich höher als jene für illegale Substanzen (IFES, 2017). ... Instrumente zur Messung sind z.T. sehr umfangreich (Barke, Nyenuis, & Kröner-Herwig, 2014; Bischof, Bischof, Besser, & Rumpf, 2016; Demetrovics et al., 2012; Hahn, Jerusalem, & Meixner-Dahle, 2016; Mak et al., 2014 und Marmet, Notari, & Gmel, 2015). Mangels konsolidierter Literatur einerseits und lediglich punktuell vorhandener repräsentativer Datenlage zur tatsächlichen Prävalenz der problematischen Nutzung von unterschiedlichen Anwendungen andererseits (speziell in Österreich) (Strizek & Puhm, 2018, S.
