Analýza pohybových aktivit žáků základních škol ve městě České Budějovice / The analysis of the physical activity of primary school students in the city České Budějovice

HÁVA, Lukáš January 2015 (has links)
This graduation thesis deals with the analysis of physical activities of primary school pupils in České Budějovice. The research was conducted by questionnaire survey at three primary schools through a standardized anonymously registered sociological questionnaire COMPASS II. Questionnaire survey which was subject to a total of 284 pupils in the 6th and 9th grades was conducted during November 2014. Based on answered questionnaires we were able to determine the structure of leisure time physical activities, which are nowadays popular among primary school students. Where these activities are most often realised and as well other valuable information regarding physical activities. The results of the survey where graphically evaluated and described in detail in the practical part of this paper. The theoretical part is dedicated to physical activities and health problems that arise due to the lack of these activities and, last but not least, we also describe ontogenetic development of primary school pupils.

O BRINCAR-E-SE-MOVIMENTAR A LINGUAGEM DA CRIANÇA / PLAY AND MOVE: THE LANGUAGE OF THE CHILD

Berleze, Daniele Jacobi 22 March 2016 (has links)
Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior / The child language consists of symbols and signs. One of its functions is the communication and dialogue, assisting in the construction and development of thought and knowledge. The child has many languages one of which is the "Play and Move." From this, comes this work in order to start the study and discussion of the theoretical knowledge about the child's language and its "Play and Move." Starting from a brief theoretical research, which is dedicated to formulating frames of reference, study, create and (re) formulating theories, namely improving knowledge. She bases and open the way for new productions. From this we can understand that the language of children is composed of multiple signs and symbols, acting as an important development tool. The first form of natural language of child's play and Move ", which is usually expressed and the bodily play a form of expressiveness inherent be. The "If-Move" is a form of "understanding-the-world-by-Act" and to communicate with the same and with people, so an "inherent human need". The language becomes a way to joke, and this becomes a form of language, being a dialogue with the world. This dialogical conception takes into account more subjective, spontaneous and free, present in essence and intuitiveness of the movement of the child.

Optimal Move Class For Simulated Annealing With Underlying Optimal Schedule

Hartwig, Ines 26 July 2005 (has links)
The thesis at hand presents an attempt to optimize simulated annealing. In particular, annealing results are computed based on different move class definitions for Ising spin systems while simultaneously applying an existing algorithm to determine the optimal temperature schedule for each case. The aim is to find a rule of thumb for dynamic adjustment of the move class during an annealing run.

Physical Activity Integrated into Teaching in Schools in Finland

Salmela, Johanna January 2020 (has links)
Background: Physical activity levels have dropped among children worldwide over the past decade, and physical inactivity has become a global public health problem. The majority of the time of a school day is spent sedentarily; therefore, schools and teachers have a significant role affecting the physical activity levels and sedentary time of children.Aim: The aim of the study was to examine, describe, and discuss primary school teachers' perceptions and experiences of physical activity integrated into teaching in schools in Finland. Methods: Eight Finnish primary school teachers participated in the research. The data was collected by semi-structured interviews conducted online. Thematic analysis was employed to interpret the data collected from the interviews. The phenomenology of perception and the body by Merleau-Ponty was applied as a theoretical framework. Results: The teachers had positive perceptions of physical activity integrated into teaching; however, their practices varied slightly between individuals. Teachers had experienced several benefits within the phenomenon. In addition, there were some constraints experienced; however, those restricted teachers only to some extent from integrating physical activity into teaching. The teachers had a positive feeling of their already existing competence; however, all teachers were open to further knowledge and training. Conclusion: Most of the teachers have become aware of the effect of accomplishing learning by letting the students use the whole body to embodied knowledge. The results indicate the importance of teacher education to develop and cover the skills required from a teacher in integrating physical activity into teaching.

Unveiling the Art of Discourse : A Genre Analysis of Ballet Reviews

Höglind, Annika January 2024 (has links)
This is a genre analysis study in linguistics whose purpose is to identify the structure of a Ballet Review using Swalesian move analysis. Whilst the review genre has been explored in the past (e.g., de Jong, & Burgers, 2018; Nodoushan & Montazeran, 2012; Taboada, 2011) there have been no dedicated studies on Ballet Reviews. To fill this void, the traditional review genre framework has been used as a starting point to investigate whether a similar framework applies to Ballet Reviews. Employing Moth-Roth’s (1996) and Nodoushan’s (2012) adapted frameworks, this study delves into the compositional structure, and rhetorical functions of Ballet Reviews. An in-depth genre analysis is carried out based on 40 Ballet Reviews using move analysis. Additionally, insights from a ballet critic interview enrich the study, providing deeper insights into Ballet Reviews. The research identifies four moves in the reviews, highlighting a consensus among critics on the typical structure. Furthermore, the study reveals the impact of publication venues, emphasising the use of specialist terminology in arts publications compared to mainstream newspapers. Implications of the study include discussions on the classification of Ballet Reviews as a distinct genre and the educational gaps for ballet critics. Overall, this study lays the foundation for understanding Ballet Reviews, contributing to genre theory and paving the way for future research.

Integrating newly arrived immigrant youths – an evaluation of IM´s project in Landskrona, Sweden

Kronqvist, Sanna January 2010 (has links)
The intent of this paper is to evaluate the aid organization IM´s (the Swedish Organization for Individual Relief) two year project in Landskrona, with a focal point on their two activities “Move it” and Café for women and girls. Focus lie on how IM has strived to achieve their objectives and perceived effects. The evaluation is conducted from an individual perspective, seeking participating individual’s and cooperation partner’s perception. Secondly the paper discusses on what ground and what possibility the project has for integrating newly arrived immigrant youths and women in relation to theories of integration, social capital and sport-based social mobility. Semi-structured interviews were held with key persons, participants and volunteers and were complemented with participant observations at activities, in the area and by following the work of the project leader. Effects are detected at mainly an individual level. Participants have gained language skills, tested sports and know slightly more about the town. Especially the women have received weak ties with Swedes and other participants and to some degree extended their knowledge about the society. Some youths have “dropped off” to other organizations but the amount is not established here. The project mainly works on a “structural integration” level. It appears to lower prejudices among the participants and volunteers, however most likely they did not hold strong prejudices from the start. Contact with associations was experienced mainly positive however a few negative contacts have occurred and could have enlarged prejudices about immigrant, Swedes, youths, the association etc. The findings show a very limited enlarged social capital for the participants, but the women’s weak ties represent some. To enlarge the positive effects seen IM ought to focus more on language skills, knowledge about the town and develop relationships rather then centre on visiting associations. The volunteers have also gained from their engagement, for example interest in cultures or personal development. To sustain IM´s activity in Landskrona it requires additional volunteers, as well as team building and communication regarding the future. Furthermore the “Move it” activity need to focus more on socializing, continuity and gaining a wider context.

MOVE: RELIGION, SECULARISM, AND THE POLITICS OF CLASSIFICATION

Evans, Richard Kent January 2018 (has links)
This dissertation is a study of how religion is manufactured, policed, imagined, and defended in the modern United States. It traces the history of one group, MOVE, from its inception in the late 1960s to the present in order to illustrate how the category of religion functions in the modern United States. The central premise of the book is that MOVE people believed MOVE was a religion. They believed, nearly from the very beginning of the group, that John Africa was a prophet who communicated on behalf of the divine, that his Teachings were inspired and had supernatural effects on the body, and that MOVE people had a role to play in a cosmic conflict between forces of good (The Law of Mama) and forces of evil (The System). Despite this, MOVE was rarely allowed to be a religion. That is, MOVE’s claim that they had a religion was, more often than not, dismissed. Historians of religion have, in recent years, begun turning their attention to the people with the power to define lived experience as either religious or secular. In MOVE’s case, the people who defined their experience as secular, and not religious, included police officers, judges, journalists, established religious leaders, and politicians. At various points throughout MOVE’s history, these social actors articulated a series of claims about what “true religion” was and why MOVE did not count. The disconnect between how MOVE people viewed themselves and how MOVE was understood by most outside the group points to the central concern of this dissertation. / History
