Gamarra Alor, Adrian Gonzalo, Portilla Mostacero, Andrea Lucía 20 August 2020 (has links)
Ecommerce leads companies to implement omnichannel strategies to give a better serve to the connected consumer. This is related that the service and its information is provided in the online and offline channel, both of which connect and invite an intention that culminates in purchase. The relationship between the seller and the customer is dynamic in this new purchasing mechanism, because it gives the opportunity for the consumer to have a better experience by accessing information about the products or services in which they are interested. In this way, there is a pattern called Webrooming, which encompasses the action of investigating an asset in the online channel and carrying out an exchange of channels, when making the purchase at the physical point of sale. / Trabajo de investigación

Vliv fyzických parametrů a stáří silnoproudého vedení na výkonnost a spolehlivost PLC/BPL / Influence of physical parameters and age of power lines on PLC/BPL performance and reliability

Benešl, Lukáš January 2020 (has links)
BPL technology is quite widespread nowadays and the public is also somewhat aware of it. This technology can be used as a means of communication without the need to install additional media and thus use the existing infrastructure. In an effort to use the full potential of the technology, BPL communication began to be used to monitor the current state of cables in distribution networks online. Where the technology is already fully implemented, the distributor can use the data to evaluate the current situation. In this way, BPL technology can be used as a diagnostic tool to test the quality of a cable connection on which not only time but also humidity and other external influences could have a significant effect.

Sledování objektu ve videu / Object Tracking in Video

Sojma, Zdeněk January 2011 (has links)
This master's thesis describes principles of the most widely used object tracking systems in video and then mainly focuses on characterization and on implementation of an interactive offline tracking system for generic color objects. The algorithm quality consists in high accuracy evaluation of object trajectory. The system creates the output trajectory from input data specified by user which may be interactively modified and added to improve the system accuracy. The algorithm is based on a detector which uses a color bin features and on the temporal coherence of object motion to generate multiple candidate object trajectories. Optimal output trajectory is then calculated by dynamic programming whose parameters are also interactively modified by user. The system achieves 15-70 fps on a 480x360 video. The thesis describes implementation of an application which purpose is to optimally evaluate the tracker accuracy. The final results are also discussed.

A transformation of a garment company from offline to online - an analysis with solutions based on SWOT and Enterprise Modeling : A case study on a small traditional enterprise

Shuting, Wan January 2020 (has links)
Chinese traditional garment enterprises not only have to face inventory and channel problems left over by history, but also encounter the influx of new online companies into the market, resulting in a significant decline in the turnover of the traditional garment industry. With the promotion of e-commerce, the economic development of the garment industry presents a new trend. In order to find new opportunities in the environment of increasingly fierce competition, traditional garment enterprises have embarked on the road of strategic transformation. This study takes a garment company DLD as the research subject and displays the primary information through the Business Model Canvas. A case study, therefore, is the research strategy applied in this study, and data are collected through interviews and questionnaires. The primary method of analyzing data is a combination of qualitative and quantitative analysis. The purpose of this study is to provide a useful reference for the enterprise in the transformation of e-commerce. SWOT analysis is conducted under the background information based on the Business Model Canvas, which demonstrates the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats encountered in the transformation process of its sales channel from offline to online. Combined with the Enterprise Modeling, this study summarizes the strategic transformation of the DLD company and proposes corresponding strategies and recommendations. Implementing the O2O e-commerce mode and the C2B business mode effectively reduces the product backlog and improves the company's competitiveness in the market. In the process of implementing these two modes, establishing a consumer database, unifying product prices, and establishing online and offline coordination teams are some practical methods for adjusting conflicts between sales channels and increasing product update rates. Besides, through the questionnaire, the recommendations proposed in this study are evaluated, two of which required further investigation and design.

Offline Reinforcement Learning for Optimization of Therapy Towards a Clinical Endpoint / Offline förstärkningsinlärning för optimering av terapi mot ett kliniskt slutmål

Jenner, Simon January 2022 (has links)
The improvement of data acquisition and computer heavy methods in recentyears has paved the way for completely digital healthcare solutions. Digitaltherapeutics (DTx) are such solutions and are often provided as mobileapplications that must undergo clinical trials. A common method for suchapplications is to utilize cognitive behavioral-therapy (CBT), in order toprovide their patients with tools for self-improvement. The Swedish-basedcompany Alex Therapeutics is such a provider. They develop state-of-theartapplications that utilize CBT to help patients. Among their applications, they have one that aims to help users quit smoking. From this app, they havecollected user data with the goal of continuously improving their servicesthrough machine learning (ML). In their current application, they utilizemultiple ML methods to personalize the care, but have opened up possibilitiesfor the usage of reinforcement learning (RL). Often the wanted behavior isknown, such as to quitting smoking, but the optimal path, within the app, forhow to reach such a goal is not. By formalizing the problem as a Markovdecision process, where the transition probabilities have to be inferred fromuser data, such an optimal policy can be found. Standard methods of RL arereliant on direct access of an environment for sampling of data, whereas theuser data sampled from the application are to be treated as such. This thesisthus explores the possibilities of using RL on a static dataset in order to inferan optimal policy. A double deep Q-network (DDQN) was chosen as the reinforcement learningagent. The agent was trained on two different datasets and showed goodconvergence for both, using a custom metric for the task. Using SHAPvaluesthe strategy of the agent is visualized and discussed, together with themethodological challenges. Lastly, future work for the proposed methods arediscussed.

[en] RHYMING WITH THE OTHER: (META)PRAGMATICS IN/ABOUT FEMALE RAP BATTLES ON YOUTUBE / [pt] RIMANDO COM A OUTRIDADE: (META)PRAGMÁTICAS NAS/SOBRE BATALHAS DE RAP FEMININAS NO YOUTUBE

LUCAS FELIPE DE OLIVEIRA SANTIAGO 21 March 2022 (has links)
[en] The focus of the present study is female Rap Battles. It seeks to understand metapragmatics built in female Rap Battles on two YouTube channels. The research lies in the historical and social assumptions of Hip-hop, in which Rap Battles are inserted, as an environment of male hegemony. Its theoretical orientation is Contemporary Sociolinguistics, within the scope of Applied Linguistics, in interface with Linguistic Anthropology, Pragmatics and Philosophy of Language. Language is understood as performance of meanings. Concepts of performance, performativity, metapragmatics, indexicality, entextualization and scale are used. The methodology adopted is ethnography with the concept of onlineOffline mobility in a qualitative and interpretive view. The analyzed data point out that when battles are posted on YouTube, stabilized meanings suffer a process of rescaling and meaning productions. The word, as the central axis of the battles, is a mechanism for operating meanings in struggles that cross the experience of the MCs. Metapragmatics point to collective causes in a spiral fashion and bring other voices to the rhymes. The semiotic process in the MCs rhymes seeks to produce alliances between women in rap. Meanings are evaluated by the virtual audience in comments, which promotes a reflective construction on the scales. Thus, we could notice the productions of meaning in female Rap Battles work with orders of indexicality, in order to operate metapragmatics on both cultural practice and life. Meanings are intertwined by historical, political, social and cultural issues about black women, lesbians, parenthood, sexuality, harassment, representation and religion.

Vallsäter, Sandra, Bengtsson, Felicia January 2023 (has links)
