Διαδικτυακά συστήματα διαχείρισης προσωπικού. Εφαρμογή διασύνδεσης επιχειρήσεων και εργαζομένων

Η συνεχής και αλματώδης πρόοδος της τεχνολογίας και της χρήσης του διαδικτύου, φέρνουν στο προσκήνιο νέες ευκαιρίες για την προώθηση των προϊόντων και των υπηρεσιών των επιχειρήσεων, τονίζουν την αναγκαιότητα για χρήση των στρατηγικών τεχνικών του διαδικτυακού μάρκετινγκ καθώς και των αποδοτικότερων και "εξυπνότερων" μεθόδων διοίκησης. Σκοπός της παρούσας εργασίας είναι η θεωρητική και πρακτική ανάλυση του θέµατος <<Διαδικτυακά συστήματα διαχείρισης προσωπικού. Εφαρμογή διασύνδεσης επιχειρήσεων και ανέργων>>. Η θεωρητική επισκόπηση του θέµατος ,στο πρώτο μέρος, αποτελεί μια προσπάθεια κατανόησης των όρων Ηλεκτρονικό Επιχειρείν (e-Business) , Διαδικτυακό Μάρκετινγκ (e-Marketing) , Οργάνωση και Διοίκηση επιχειρήσεων (Management) και Διαχείριση Ανθρώπινων Πόρων (Human Resources Management). Σε αυτή την ενότητα, καταγράφονται οι στρατηγικές τεχνικές που μπορεί να χρησιμοποιήσει το Μάρκετινγκ στο χώρο του διαδικτύου με τη βοήθεια εργαλείων για την επίτευξη των στόχων της επιχείρησης. Παράλληλα, διαπιστώνεται ότι η ολοκλήρωση ενός έργου εξαρτάται από την πολιτική της επιχείρησης και από την πιστή εφαρμογή των κανόνων της οργάνωσης και διοίκησης. Τέλος, επισημαίνεται ο σημαντικός ρόλος του ανθρώπινου παράγοντα και δείχνεται ότι η επένδυση σ’αυτό μπορεί να προσθέσει οικονομική αξία στην επιχείρηση. Στο δεύτερο μέρος, η διατριβή εστίασε στην ανάπτυξη μιας πρότυπης εφαρμογής ηλεκτρονικής γραμματείας και e-management που αφορά τον τρόπο που μπορεί μια εταιρία να χειριστεί τους πελάτες της. Ουσιαστικά, παρουσιάζεται η λειτουργία ενός Κέντρου Δια Βίου Μάθησης (ΚΔΒΜ) το οποίο έιναι μια εταιρία που καλείται να διαχειριστεί έναν όγκο υποψηφίων για τα προγράμματα VOUCHER. Η εφαρμογή αποτελείται από δύο τμήματα: Το τμήμα του marketing (ιστοσελίδα στον πελάτη) και το τμήμα του management (ιστοσελίδα διαχείρισης) που χρησιμοποιούν την ίδια βάση δεδομένων. / The continuous and rapid advances in technology and the use of internet, bring forward new opportunities to promote products and services of enterprises, emphasize the need for use of strategic internet marketing techniques and the most efficient and intelligent methods of administration . The purpose of this paper is the theoretical and practical analysis of the issue << Online human resources mamagement systems . Application of Business and unemployed interconnection>>. The theoretical overview of the subject, in Part One, is an attempt to understand the terms Electronic Business (e-Business), Internet Marketing (e-Marketing), Business Administration (Management) and Human Resource Management . In this section, technical strategies are recorded that can be used in marketing in the space of internet with the help of tools in order to achieve business objectives. Furthermore, it is found that the completion of a project depends on the company policy and the strict application of the rules of organization and administration. Finally, the important role of the human factor is highlighted and is indicated that investment in this can add economic value to the business. In the second part the thesis focused on developing a prototype implementation of electronic literature and e-management that involves how a company can handle their customers(unemployed applicants). Essentially, it is presented the operation of the Centre for Lifelong Learning ,a company which manages a volume of candidates for VOUCHER programs. The application consists of two parts: The part of marketing (customer site) and the part of management (website management) using the same database.

A Single-Blind, Randomized, Controlled study of Efficacy and Effectiveness of Pharmacy Quality Improvement

Background: The Alliance for Patient Medication Safety (APMS) helps community pharmacies comply with continuous quality improvement requirements of many states and third party payment contracts through use of their Pharmacy Quality Commitment (PQC) program. Aims: To assess changes in the incidence of prescription Quality Related Events (QREs) and adoption of patient safety culture attitudes after guided PQC implementation. Methods: Twenty-one pharmacies were randomized to standard PQC practices (control) or guided PQC implementation (treatment). Pharmacy staff completed retrospective pre and post safety culture questionnaires. Negative binomial mixed and linear regression analyses were employed to examine changes in QREs rates and attitudes, respectively. Rasch analysis was used to assess questionnaire validity and reliability. Results: During the 2-month study period 3,343 QREs were reported to the online PQC system. At baseline, no difference in the average QRE reporting rate was identified between groups. Treatment group QRE reporting rates differed in one category post treatment (more incorrect safety caps QREs reported in treatment group, p<0.034). Seventy-one employees completed the questionnaire (70% response). Attitude improvement in the treatment group was 36% greater than in control (p<0.0001). The questionnaire demonstrated acceptable reliability and validity evidence. Conclusions: Guided PQC implementation increased reporting of certain QREs and increased the adoption of patient safety culture attitudes among staff pharmacy.

Το μονοθέσιο δημοτικό σχολείο Μοίραλι Αχαΐας 1908-1936

Η ιστορική έρευνα της εκπαίδευσης των αρχών του 20ου αιώνα αποτελεί ένα ιδιαίτερα ενδιαφέρον και δύσκολο εγχείρημα. Η απουσία ιστορικών αρχείων με επαρκή και αξιόπιστα δεδομένα, αποτελεί ίσως το σημαντικότερο πρόβλημα των ερευνητών. Στην εργασία αυτή διερευνάται το Δημοτικό Σχολείο Μοίραλι Αχαΐας από το 1908 μέχρι το 1936, με βάση το αρχείο του σχολείου (Μαθητολόγια, Βιβλία Προόδου μαθητών και άλλα έγγραφα). Εξετάζονται η οργάνωση, η διοίκηση, η εποπτεία και η λειτουργία του σχολείου σε σχέση με το πολιτικό, οικονομικό και κοινωνικό συγκείμενο της εποχής. Η φοίτηση των μαθητών, η σχολική διαρροή και αποτυχία και οι διαφοροποιήσεις των δύο φύλων στην εκπαιδευτική διαδικασία αποτελούν τους άξονες ανάλυσης. Παρουσιάζονται τα ευρήματα και ερμηνεύονται σε σχέση με το τοπικό συγκείμενο και την ασκούμενη εκπαιδευτική πολιτική. Το Δημοτικό Σχολείο Μοίραλι Αχαΐας παρουσιάζει τα χαρακτηριστικά των σχολείων εκείνων που βρίσκονται σε περιοχές όπου δεν ισχύει η «έξοδος από την αγροτική παραγωγή» και η χρήση του σχολικού μηχανισμού ως ιμάντα κοινωνικής κινητικότητας. Διαπιστώνεται επίσης η καθοριστική επίδραση του «πολιτικού συγκείμενου» στη λειτουργία του σχολείου ως αποτέλεσμα της γενικότερης επίδρασής του στην εκπαίδευση και τις εκπαιδευτικές μεταρρυθμίσεις. / The historical research of education in the beginning of the 20th century constitutes a particularly interesting and challenging issue. The lack of historical archives can be considered as the most important problem encountered by researchers. This paper presents a research on the Elementary School Moirali Achaias from 1908 to 1936, based on the school’s archive (School registers, files concerning the students’ Progress and other documents). The organization, the administration, the supervision and the functioning of the school are discussed in relationship to the political, financial and social context of the period. The students’ learning process, school drain and failure and the differentiations of the two sexes in the educational procedure constitute the axes of analysis. Findings are presented and interpreted in relation to the surrounding context and the chosen educational politic. The Elementary School Moirali Achaias presents those characteristics shared by all schools in areas where there is no chance of “escaping from the agricultural production” or using the school mechanism as a factor of social mobility. The decisive influence of the “political context” on the school’s functioning is also ascertained as a result of its’ general influence on education and educational reforms.

O aprendizado e a evolução constantes são elementos essenciais na construção de uma empresa de sucesso. / The increasing complexity that involves organizations and the environment in which they are inserted has led their members and researchers of management area to continuous searches for new and more suitable approaches for analyses that contribute to the organizational development. The effort to survive in concurrent conditions has made imperative the implementation of several types of changes in order to improve organizational performance, reduce costs, improve quality, increase productivity, innovate products and processes of production, and increase the speed of entering into the market. However, most of these theoretical and practical effortsdo not seen to have reached expected results because the range of methods avaliable withvery distinct characteristics have not gathered contradictions and connections that frame the organizations. An urgent need to adapt these methods to social and organizational needs is overcoming traditional scientific methods limitations. A proposal for better organizational integration would be to put into practice one of the guidelines of the project: the integration of Bio-Manguinhos actions in management area. In a true team work, a standardization proposal will be discussed in this work eliminating superposition, but respecting particularitities. This integration allows the adoption of a unified, clear, and efficient framework, what extends the competitiveness of the Unit. Constant learning and evolution are essential elements in the construction of a successful company.

Aspectos facilitadores e dificultadores do trabalho do enfermeiro em cargos gerenciais em hospital / Facilitating and hindering aspects of the work of nurses in hospital management positions

A nova configuração do papel dos hospitais, na perspectiva da construção de redes de atenção à saúde, tem implicações para o trabalho do enfermeiro com cargo gerencial no tocante às suas ações/decisões administrativas, assistenciais e de ensino. Nesse sentido, este estudo teve o objetivo de identificar os aspectos facilitadores e dificultadores do trabalho do enfermeiro em cargos gerenciais, em um hospital público, de urgência, do interior paulista. Para tanto, foi realizado um estudo descritivo de abordagem quantitativa de dados qualitativos, utilizando a Técnica do Incidente Crítico, para o levantamento das percepções e atitudes em relação ao objeto de investigação. O estudo foi desenvolvido em uma instituição hospitalar de ensino, pública, de nível terciário, situada no nordeste do Estado de São Paulo, Brasil. Participaram 15 enfermeiros em cargos gerenciais que atuavam no referido cargo há pelo menos um ano, sendo excluídos aqueles que se encontravam ausentes do local de trabalho à época da coleta dos dados, em decorrência de afastamentos legais ou por não ter sido possível realizar a entrevista após cinco agendamentos cancelados. A coleta dos dados ocorreu por meio de entrevista semiestruturada individual. Foram relatados incidentes críticos, que se constituíram em 42 situações, das quais 33,3% foram positivas e 66,7% negativas; repercutindo em 57 comportamentos, sendo 84,2% positivos e 15,8% negativos e 74 consequências, sendo 41,9% positivas e 58,1% negativas. Os dados da análise de conteúdo foram agrupados por similaridade de conteúdo. Consideram-se aspectos facilitadores situação/comportamento/consequência com referências predominantemente positivas, as categorias, a saber: interação: equipe, paciente, família; gerenciar a unidade de trabalho; questionar a implantação do Grupo Gestor e comunicar-se. Em contrapartida, foram considerados aspectos dificultadores situação/comportamento/consequência com referências predominantemente negativas, as categorias: estrutura organizacional; gestão de infraestrutura e gestão de pessoas. Cabe destacar que esses resultados podem subsidiar o trabalho do enfermeiro em cargo gerencial e, também, dos próprios gestores do hospital, uma vez que os aspectos dificultadores do trabalho do enfermeiro em cargo gerencial dizem respeito, em sua maioria, a questões de pouca governabilidade para esse profissional. Assim, evidencia-se a necessidade de maior aproximação dos gestores e enfermeiros com cargo gerencial, a fim de, juntos, solucionarem questões que favoreçam o processo de cuidar e de coordenar o trabalho. É inegável a clareza que os participantes trouxeram sobre sua responsabilidade profissional, visto que, embora os incidentes tenham tido referências predominantemente negativas, os comportamentos apresentados tiveram referências predominantemente positivas, evidenciando os esforços que esses profissionais despendem para superar as dificuldades vivenciadas e a importância considerada em poder compartilhar decisões e ações a serem realizadas / The new configuration of the role of hospitals, with a view to building health care networks, has implications for the work of nurses in management positions in relation to their administrative, helth care and teaching actions/decisions. This study aimed to identify the facilitating and hindering aspects of the work of nurses in management positions in a public emergency hospital in the interior of the state of São Paulo. A descriptive study with quantitative approach of the qualitative data was performed, using the Critical Incident Technique, to survey the perceptions and attitudes in relation to the researched object. The study was developed in a public tertiary-level teaching hospital, located in the northeast region of São Paulo state, Brazil. In total, 15 nurses in management positions, who worked in the function for at least one year, participated, excluding those who were absent from the workplace at the time of data collection as a result of legal absences or because it was not possible to conduct the interview after five appointments canceled. Data collection was performed through individual semi-structured interview. Critical incidents consisting of 42 cases were reported, of which 33.3% were positive and 66.7% negative, culminating in 57 behaviors, of which 84.2% positive and 15.8% negative, and 74 consequences, 41.9% positive and 58.1% negative. Content analysis data were grouped by similarity of content. Situation, behavior and consequence with predominantly positive references were considered as facilitating aspects, with the following categories: interaction- team, patient, family; to manage the work unit; to question the implementation of the Management Group and to communicate. On the other hand, situation, behavior and consequence with predominantly negative references were considered hindering aspects, with the following categories: organizational structure; infrastructure management and personnel management. It is highligted that these results may support the work of nurses in management positions as well as hospital managers, once the hindering aspects of the work of nurses in management positions are related mostly to issues of poor governance to this professional. Thus, the study evidences the need for closer alignment of managers and nurses with management position, in order to commonly solve issues that favor the care process and work coordination. It is undeniable the clarity that participants have about their professional liability, since although the incidents have had predominantly negative references, behaviors presented had mainly positive references, showing the efforts that these professionals expend to overcome the difficulties experienced and the importance considered in sharing decisions and actions to be taken

Alinhamento estratégico / Strategic alignment

Trata-se de uma pesquisa exploratória realizada com os principais executivos de 153 das mil maiores organizações brasileiras, e que buscou ampliar o conhecimento até então existente acerca da contribuição do alinhamento organizacional para a eficácia da implementação das estratégias organizacionais através de uma abordagem sistêmica, cuja proposta metodológica reduziu a complexidade do contexto estratégico em pares de elementos organizacionais a serem alinhados, especificados como combinações de sistemas, as quais foram, então, analisadas de forma integrada em relação à variável dependente eficácia da implementação das estratégias, através da aplicação de técnicas estatísticas multivariadas. As análises quantitativas efetuadas permitiram a elaboração de um ranking de prioridades de alinhamento para o estrategista, a partir da conclusão de que o alinhamento de algumas combinações de sistemas é mais importante do que o alinhamento de outras combinações, no que diz respeito às suas contribuições para a eficácia da implementação das suas estratégias. A comparação deste ranking com aquele extraído a partir da manifestação dos executivos acerca da importância que eles atribuíram a cada uma das combinações de sistemas, evidenciou avaliação divergente em diversos itens, que podem se traduzir em oportunidades para as organizações ampliarem os seus níveis de eficácia na implementação de estratégias. Com relação ao propósito de investigar a possível existência de correlação entre o alinhamento das combinações de sistemas em estudo e a eficácia da implementação das estratégias das organizações, os trabalhos de campo e todas as subseqüentes análises dos dados coletados ratificaram essa hipótese, o que confere duplo valor ao achado. Primeiro por confirmar os conceitos obtidos a partir da base teórica, consolidando-os em um modelo abstrato, e, segundo, por permitir a utilização prática, de tal forma que as organizações podem, baseadas nestas constatações, concentrar os seus esforços de alinhamento naquelas combinações de sistemas que mais contribuem para a eficácia da implementação das estratégias. Essa descoberta é tão importante quanto aquela que esclarece que a eficácia na implementação de estratégias evidenciada hoje decorre mais do alinhamento organizacional presente do que do alinhamento organizacional passado. Ou seja, para o bem e para o mal, os alinhamentos passados não são suficientes para sustentar os níveis de eficácia presente. A boa notícia é a de que, com base nesta tese, as organizações que mantiverem, ao longo do tempo, os alinhamentos capazes de sustentar níveis superiores de eficácia na implementação de suas estratégias, podem usufruir de vantagem competitiva sobre as organizações rivais, neste quesito. / This Thesis consists of an exploratory research carried out with 153 top executives from the largest Brazilian organizations, aiming at expanding current knowledge concerning the contribution of organizational alignment to effectiveness of organizational strategies implementation, by means of a systemic approach, whose methodological proposition reduced strategic context complexity in pairs of organizational elements to be aligned, here specified as systems combinations that were analyzed in an integrated manner in relation to dependent variable strategies implementation effectiveness, with the application of multivariate statistics techniques. The quantitative analyses enabled the elaboration of an alignment priority ranking to the strategist, from the conclusion that the alignment of some systems combinations is more important than the alignment of other combinations, in relation to their contribution to the strategies implementation effectiveness. The comparison between this ranking and that emerged from the manifestation of organization executives about the importance of each systems combinations, has revealed divergent evaluation in several items, which can be translated into opportunities to the organizations to improve their strategies implementation effectiveness level. With respect to the objective of investigating the eventual correlation between the studied systems combinations alignment and the effectiveness of organizational strategies implementation, the field works and subsequent gathered data analyses ratified this hypothesis, which offers double value to the findings. First, confirmed the concepts obtained from the theoretical basis, consolidating them in a conceptual framework and, second, allowed the practical use in a way that organizations can, based on these evidences, concentrate their alignment efforts on these systems combinations that more contribute to the strategies implementation effectiveness. This discovery is as important as that which explains that the strategies implementation effectiveness evidenced today arise more from the present organizational alignment than from the past organizational alignment. Therefore, for better or for worse, the past alignments are not sufficient to support the present effectiveness level. Good news is that, based on this argument, organizations that maintain the appropriate alignment to sustain superior levels of strategies implementation effectiveness over time, can benefit from competitive advantage over rivals, in this matter.

Analyses of interorganizational relationships among community mental health organizations in Kitimat and Terrace, British Columbia (1975)

This study is, in part, a product of the efforts of the Kitimat-Stikine Regional District Health Care Research Project (1975). During the course of this project interviews with representatives of local health care organizations were held in order to inventory the kinds and numbers of health care services in the Kitimat-Stikine Regional District. In assessing the roles of health care organizations in Kitimat and Terrace, British Columbia it became apparent that a number of community mental health organizations in these two centres were experiencing varying degrees of success and/or frustrations in attempting to meet their organizational goals. In attempting to analyse these experiences it became evident that they were frequently described in terms of the activities and decisions of other organizations. It was also considered that individual organizations had unique characteristics of an internal nature which were also seen to affect the relative success they had in meeting their goals. The question then arose as to the possibility of analysing community mental health services in Kitimat and Terrace in terms of the interrelationships of the organizations which were providing these services. This was seen to be a reasonable approach to the problem of analysis in that the specific intent of the research project from which this study emanated was to provide an inventory of local health care services. In considering the methodology for the analysis of these inter-organizational relationships a review of the literature showed that there had been three basic approaches to organizational research used to analyse organizational behaviour. These approaches were, in order of their development, analysis of an organization as a single unit in terms of its internal characteristics; analysis of an organization in terms of its relationships with other organizations and, analysis, as a unit, of a group of organizations which have recurrent interactions with one another. It was determined that each of these forms of analysis could be utilized in the context of the community mental health organizations located in Kitimat and Terrace. This approach has important implications from a planning point of view in that it affords analyses of benefit to planners and administrators of individual organizations within the context of their own organization's internal framework and within the context of the overall activities of other organizations with which they interact. Further more, it provides an advantageous perspective to authorities in central planning organizations as they attempt to coordinate activities of organizations under their jurisdiction. Five specific variables were selected to facilitate the analysis of inter-organizational relationships at each of the three levels. These variables were: resources; power, organizational autonomy; domain consensus; and inter-organizational coordination. The analyses showed that each of the three levels offer unique opportunities to view the interrelationships between and/or among organizations. It was also illustrated that the third level of analysis was an abstract concept that required further development before it could be clearly differentiated from the other levels. The five variables selected to analyse the interrelationships at each level exhibited varying degrees of relevance to the analysis. The main observation was that, although there was some overlap in their application to specific issues which were discussed, the five variables were able to satisfactorily address any factors which were seen to affect inter-organizational relationships at each of the three levels. Perceived Barriers to Teaching for Critical Thinking by BSN Nursing Faculty

The ability to think critically is considered an essential skill of nursing graduates and competent nursing practice. Yet, the literature reports that teachers are having difficulty teaching for critical thinking and that critical thinking is lacking in new nursing graduates. This research study sought to identify barriers to the implementation of critical thinking teaching strategies by nursing faculty currently teaching in generic baccalaureate programs in Tennessee. Surveys were mailed to 262 nursing faculty; 194 were returned, and 175 were usable. Students' attitudes and expectations represented the single greatest barrier to the implementation of critical thinking teaching strategies, followed by time constraints and the perceived need to teach for content coverage. Recommendations to support and encourage faculty to teach for critical thinking are outlined.
