<p>Mrka trulež, čiji je prouzrokovač Monilinia laxa, spada u najče&scaron;če i najznačajnije bolesti ploda ko&scaron;tičavih voćaka, naročito tre&scaron;nje. Cilj ovog rada je bio da se utvrde razlike u reakciji&nbsp; devet sorti plodova tre&scaron;nje (različitih pomolo&scaron;kih osobina) prema mrkoj truleži, uzorkovanih sa oglednog dobra Departmana za voćarstvo i vinogradarstvo, Poljoprivredni fakultet Novi Sad na Rimskim &Scaron;ančevima (koordinate: 45&deg;20&acute;N, 19&deg;51&acute;E). S obzirom da se u prirodnim uslovima plod tre&scaron;nje može zaraziti od strane vi&scaron;e patogena, biohemijski parametri su analizirani i na ve&scaron;tački inokulisanim plodovima. Ispitivane sorte su pokazale značajne razlike u pojavi oboljenja na plodu, kako u uslovima ve&scaron;tačke inokulacije, tako i u prirodnoj infekciji. U oba slučaja kod sorti su zabeležene različite ocene intenziteta zaraze, zavisno od sortimenta. Biohemijskom analizom plodova zabeležene su značajne razlike u sadržaju rastvorljivih proteina (SP), aktivnosti supereksid dismutaze (SOD), aktivnosti gvajakol peroksidaze (GPx), aktivnost pirogalol peroksidaze (PPx), lipidnoj peroksidaciji (LP). Utvrđene su značajne razlike u sadržaju &scaron;ećera, organskih kiselinih i sekundarnih metabolita (fenoli, tanini, proantocijanidini, flavonoidi, antocijanini). Takođe rezultati su pokazali razlike u antioksidantnoj aktivnost (DPPH, FRAP, ABTS i TRC testovi). Na sadržaj sekundarnih biomolekula kao i na antioksidantnu&nbsp; aktivnost&nbsp; uticali su sorta, intenzitet zaraze ploda, kao i interakcija između ova dva faktora. Syftet med föreliggande studie har varit att med hjälp av kvalitativa intervjuer undersöka hur sex musiklärare inom ’en-till-en’ undervisning förhåller sig till att skapa och upprätthålla en relation gentemot deras elever i kulturskolan. Tidigare studier föreslår att lärare måste upprätthålla en komplex tvådelad relation som både tillhandahåller den auktoritära- och den personliga lärarrollen. Detta sätt att betrakta lärarrollen kallas för Persona, ett begrepp som är centralt i uppsatsen. Lärarnas utsagor har analyserats med hjälp av tematisk analysmetod och temana som skapades presenteras och kopplas samman med den teoretiska utgångspunkten att lärare har två roller att upprätthålla vad gäller relationen gentemot eleven. Resultatet visar att den personliga relationen är av stor vikt för informanterna då den synliggör elevens styrkor och svagheter; således kan lärarna individanpassa undervisningen för eleverna. Denna relation skapas och upprätthålls via lärarens intresse för eleven. Detta intresse yttrar sig bland annat genom mellanmänskliga samtal under lektionerna. Dock så bör inte detta intresse vara lektionens enskilda fokus. Utifrån intervjuerna framgår det att lärarna även måste tillhandahålla mer auktoritära och opersonliga lärarroller för att eleven faktiskt ska lära sig något. Dessa två lärarroller ska alltså inte ses som dikotomier, utan ska istället användas som komplement för varandra. / The purpose of this study has been to, with the help of qualitative interviews, examine how six music teachers in ’one-to-one’ tuition relate to creating and upholding a relationship in regards to their students in music schools. Earlier studies suggest that teachers must uphold a complex two-parted relationship that involves the teacher both as an authority and in a more personal role. This way of observing the teacher role is called Persona, a term central in this essay. The statements of the teachers have been analysed with the help of thematic analysis and the themes which were created are presented and connected with the theoretical perspective that teachers have two roles to uphold when it comes to the relationship towards the student. The result of the study shows that the personal relationship is of great importance for the informants as it throws light upon the students strengths and weaknesses. This makes it possible for the teachers to customize the education to fit the student. The relationship is created and upheld on the basis of interest that the teachers have for their students. This interest makes itself shown, among other ways, through interpersonal conversations during the lessons. The teachers interest in their student shouldn’t be the single focus of the lesson though. Based on the interviews, it appears that the teachers also must provide more authoritarian and impersonal teacher roles in order for the student to actually learn anything. These two teacher roles should in other words not be seen as dichotomies, but should instead be used as a complement to each other.

Modeling and Simulation of Microelectromechanical Systems in Multi-Physics Fields

The first objective of this dissertation is to present hybrid numerical-analytical approaches and reduced-order models to simulate microelectromechanical systems (MEMS) in multi-physics fields. These include electric actuation (AC and DC), squeeze-film damping, thermoelastic damping, and structural forces. The second objective is to investigate MEMS phenomena, such as squeeze-film damping and dynamic pull-in, and use the latter to design a novel RF-MEMS switch. In the first part of the dissertation, we introduce a new approach to the modeling and simulation of flexible microstructures under the coupled effects of squeeze-film damping, electrostatic actuation, and mechanical forces. The new approach utilizes the compressible Reynolds equation coupled with the equation governing the plate deflection. The model accounts for the slip condition of the flow at very low pressures. Perturbation methods are used to derive an analytical expression for the pressure distribution in terms of the structural mode shapes. This expression is substituted into the plate equation, which is solved in turn using a finite-element method for the structural mode shapes, the pressure distributions, the natural frequencies, and the quality factors. We apply the new approach to a variety of rectangular and circular plates and present the final expressions for the pressure distributions and quality factors. We extend the approach to microplates actuated by large electrostatic forces. For this case, we present a low-order model, which reduces significantly the cost of simulation. The model utilizes the nonlinear Euler-Bernoulli beam equation, the von K´arm´an plate equations, and the compressible Reynolds equation. The second topic of the dissertation is thermoelastic damping. We present a model and analytical expressions for thermoelastic damping in microplates. We solve the heat equation for the thermal flux across the microplate, in terms of the structural mode shapes, and hence decouple the thermal equation from the plate equation. We utilize a perturbation method to derive an analytical expression for the quality factor of a microplate with general boundary conditions under electrostatic loading and residual stresses in terms of its structural mode shapes. We present results for microplates with various boundary conditions. In the final part of the dissertation, we present a dynamic analysis and simulation of MEMS resonators and novel RF MEMS switches employing resonant microbeams. We first study microbeams excited near their fundamental natural frequencies (primary-resonance excitation). We investigate the dynamic pull-in instability and formulate safety criteria for the design of MEMS sensors and RF filters. We also utilize this phenomenon to design a low-voltage RF MEMS switch actuated with a combined DC and AC loading. Then, we simulate the dynamics of microbeams excited near half their fundamental natural frequencies (superharmonic excitation) and twice their fundamental natural frequencies (subharmonic excitation). For the superharmonic case, we present results showing the effect of varying the DC bias, the damping, and the AC excitation amplitude on the frequency-response curves. For the subharmonic case, we show that if the magnitude of the AC forcing exceeds the threshold activating the subharmonic resonance, all frequency-response curves will reach pull-in. / Ph. D.

Stress, a feeling of pressure, tension, strain or threat, is a problem for contemporary female participants in the primary and secondary educational milieus who automatically respond to stressors (causes of stress), in the same way as women and girls in the past, since human beings have not changed psychologically and biologically over the millennia. Like their ancestors many female educators, learners and caregivers today do not return to a calm mental and physical state after an initial stress reaction. They often remain under stress, which results in emotional, behavioural, physical and cognitive manifestations of stress. Moreover, females may be predisposed to stress because of psychological, biological and social factors that have underpinned their response to time-related stressors that have faced them throughout history. Yet, history has also shown that women and girls taught and learnt successful stress coping mechanisms. Ce travail dans le domaine de la « neuropsychanalyse » propose une spéculation théorique sur la structure physiologique de l’inconscient psychanalytique en recoupant les observations expérimentales et cliniques des deux cadres. L’écoute clinique indique une insistance de phonèmes récurrents dans ce qui fait conflit, appelés « phonèmes fantômes ». En effet, tel un membre fantôme, le signifiant refoulé est investi d’une intention mais son articulation est bloquée. Or, du fait de la structure ambiguë du langage, un même mouvement d’articulation peut radicalement changer de signification. C’est ce mécanisme qui donne lieu au retour du refoulé dans le signifiant et permet la survie de fantômes phonémiques qui tisseraient la structure linguistique de l’inconscient. Cette question du signifiant est présentée en écho à une question plus fondamentale, celle de l’émergence du psychique en réponse à la contrainte de l’organisme de faire la distinction entre intérieur et extérieur. Pour cette distinction, il faut supposer l’existence d’un système d’inhibition ciblé puisqu’il doit faire ressortir précisément ce qui dans la façon d’appréhender le monde extérieur n’a pas été anticipé. Cette précision est offerte par le modèle sensorimoteur des copies d’efférence, qui présentifie le mouvement avant qu’il ne se fasse et montre comment l’inhibition est condition de la représentation, constitutif du psychique. Pour l’humain la nécessité de la distinction intérieur-extérieur est impérieuse du fait précisément du langage qui rend complexe l’identification du lieu d’où ça parle. Elle mène au mouvement de refoulement, qui par inhibition fait apparaitre les fantômes phonèmiques comme les représentations en négatif des fragments de paroles refoulés. Cette réflexion théorique est précédée d’une mise en contexte élaborée dans l’histoire et l’épistémologique parfois controversée de la neuropsychanalyse et revendique pour sa méthodologie une approche transcendantale. / This study in the domain of « neuropsychoanalysis » proposes a theoretical speculation on the physiological structure of the psychoanalytic unconscious by cross-checking the experimental and clinical observations from both domains. Clinical listening indicates the insistence of recurring phonemes when it comes to conflictual topics, called “phonemic phantoms”. Indeed, as is the case in a phantom limb, the repressed signifier is invested by an intention while its articulation is blocked. However, due to the ambiguous structure of language, a same articulation movement can radically change signification. It is this mechanism that causes the return of the repressed in the signifier and allows for the survival of phonemic phantoms which are thought to weave the linguistic structure of the unconscious. The question of the signifier is presented as an instantiation of a more fundamental question, the emergence of the psychic realm in response to the constraint of the organism to distinguish interior from exterior. For this distinction, the existence of an accurate system of inhibition must be postulated since it has to be able to delineate precisely what in the way of apprehending the world was not anticipated by the organism. This precision is allowed by the sensorimotor model of efference copies, which presentifies the movement before its realisation and shows how inhibition is a condition for representation. For humans, the necessity of the interior-exterior distinction is imperious due to language which renders complex the identification of the locus from where speech is initiated (from where “id” speaks). This necessity leads to the movement of repression, which by inhibition induces phonemic phantoms in the form of negative representations of repressed speech. This work is preceded by an introduction which contextualises the theoretical reflexion in the sometimes controversial history and epistemology of neuropsychoanalysis and which claims a transcendental approach for its methodology.

Part of the thesis is also author's own research of preferences of potential visitors, image and the research of attitude of locals to visitors. Also the PEST analysis of this destination was carried out and then was created the list of strenghts and weaknesses of the tourist area and the list of opportunities and threats for the next development of tourism.

A perspectiva dos fisioterapeutas que desenvolvem programas de educação postural com crianças bem jovens é que essas medidas de prevenção primária possam reduzir, a longo prazo a prevalência de dores nas costas.Esse estudo experimental, verificou os efeitos da educação postural comparando duas estratégias educacionais utilizando-se da pedagogia de uma história em quadrinhos (HQ) na retenção de informações desses hábitos posturais e de um circuito demonstrativo (CD), onde as crianças vivenciavam cada postura correta e incorreta. O programa de educação postural foi aplicado em três sessões educativas em escolares das 2ª e 3º séries, com idades entre 7-11 anos, de uma Escola Municipal, no Estado de São Paulo. A amostra consistiu de 80 crianças nos grupos HQ e CD. As sessões tiveram a duração de uma hora e serviram para transmitir noções básicas sobre: anatomia, biomecânica e fisiopatologia de dores na coluna vertebral e hábitos posturais corretos nas seguintes situações: postura sentada, postura em pé, postura deitada, transporte de mochila, técnica de levantamento e transferência de objetos. O conhecimento dos hábitos posturais foi verificado por intermédio de questionários aplicados antes do início do programa e após um período de 6 meses do término da pesquisa. Os resultados do estudo indicaram que para todas as variáveis estudadas não foram detectadas diferenças no aprendizado e memorização dos hábitos posturais corretos em ambos os sexos que se submeteram às duas metodologias de ensino, exceto no jeito de dormir, onde o índice de aumento das respostas corretas foi de 23% para o Circuito, enquanto o HQ apresentou apenas 7% / OBJECTIVE: This experimental study compared two educational strategies using the pedagogy of a comic book story (HQ) and a demonstration circuit (CD), to teach instructions for correct posture habits. METHOD: 80 students from the 2nd and 3rd grades of an elementary school in São Paulo city were studied using a questionnaire before and after the education program, and also six months after the end of the research, to assess the retention of the correct habits. RESULTS: The correct rates after the instructions increased 90% for both education strategies, except for the sleeping posture, which had more correct responses in the CD education practice. CONCLUSION: In the comparison between the comic book story and the demonstration circuit education strategies, both were effective in the memorization of correct postural habits

Rastreamento visual e por photoscreener em escolares do primeiro ano do ensino fundamental / Visual acuity screening and photoscreening in school-children at the first grade of elementary school

INTRODUÇÃO: Aproximadamente 20% das crianças brasileiras em idade escolar apresentam algum problema oftalmológico e cerca de 95% dos distúrbios poderiam ser evitados ou minorados com promoção de saúde e assistência. A triagem visual é realizada por agentes comunitários de saúde, professores e alfabetizadores. Apesar do treinamento que os professores recebem, muitas crianças são dispensadas na triagem realizada nos serviços especializados e ainda existe um alto índice de absenteísmo, evidenciando-se a necessidade de melhorar a gestão dos recursos humanos e financeiros envolvidos no rastreamento visual e refrativo de escolares do ensino fundamental. OBJETIVOS: O estudo buscou comparar o rastreamento visual com corte de acuidade visual monocular, sem correção, <= 0,7, corte <= 0,6, medida de acuidade visual binocular e corte <= 0,7 e rastreamento refrativo com Spot Vision ScreeningTM PediaVision (SPOT). O segundo objetivo deste estudo foi avaliar a performance do SPOT como auto-refrator. MÉTODOS: Durante o Projeto Visão do Futuro, ocorrido em 2012, no HCFMUSP, avaliamos 1554 crianças, que preencheram os critérios de inclusão do estudo e destas, 148 foram submetidas ao photoscreening. RESULTADOS: A adoção de corte <= 0,6 no rastreamento visual monocular reduziria em 29% o número de crianças encaminhadas para avaliação oftalmológica e a triagem binocular com corte <= 0,7 em 41,1%, porém 61 casos de ambliopia deixariam de ser diagnosticados. O SPOT apresentou sensibilidade em detectar erro refracional com necessidade de prescrição de 73,3% e especificidade de 93,18% e, em média, a diferença da refração do Spot com a refração clínica subjetiva foi de + 0,63 DE com -0,33 DC no eixo de 4°, para o olho direito de cada paciente. CONCLUSÕES: As mudanças de corte para 0,6 e binocular 0,7 reduzem consideravelmente o número de avaliações, porém, a última deixa de diagnosticar parcela importante das crianças amblíopes. O SPOT apresentou bons índices de sensibilidade e especificidade no rastreamento refrativo em escolares e os valores de refração obtidos com este equipamento assemelham-se clinicamente aos valores de refração clínica subjetiva / BACKGROUND: Approximately 20% of brazilian children of school age have some eye problem and about 95% of the disorders could be prevented or reduced with health promotion and care. PURPOSES: The present study aimed to compare visual screening by monocular visual acuity with cut-off of 0,7, 0,6, binocular visual acuity and cut-off 0,7 and photoscreening by Spot Vision ScreeningTM PediaVision (SPOT). The second objective of this study was to evaluate the performance of the Spot as auto-refractor. METHODS: During the Program \"Visão do Futuro\", in 2012, at HCFMUSP, 1554 children that met the inclusion criteria were examined, 148 of these were photoscreened. RESULTS: The adoption of cut-off <= 0.6 in monocular visual screening would reduce by 29% the number of children referred for ophthalmic evaluation and binocular screening with cutting <= 0.7 to 41.1%, however 61 cases of amblyopia would not be diagnosticated. SPOT had a sensitivity to detect refractive error requiring prescription of 73.3% and specificity of 93.18%. The mean difference between refraction obtained by Spot and clinical subjective refraction was of +0.63 SD combined with -0,33 CD in the 4° axis for right eye of each patient. CONCLUSIONS: Reducing cut-off in monocular visual acuity to 0.6 or 0.7 binocular considerably reduce the number of evaluations, however, the last leaves to diagnose significant portion of amblyopic children. The SPOT showed good levels of sensitivity and specificity in refractive screening of school children and refraction values obtained with this equipment are clinically similar to the values of subjective clinical refraction
