Propuesta de un modelo de mesa de ayuda para mejorar la gestión de incidencias y solicitudes basado en ITIL v3.0 en el Aeropuerto de Lima / Proposal for a help desk model to improve incident and request management based on ITIL v3.0 at Lima Airport

Kawazo Kian, Jorge, Samanamud Susanivar, Alexis Arturo 28 November 2020 (has links)
The Help Desk provides users and clients with a single point of contact for all requests and incidents they may need. It is like a representative of IT services in an organization and is considered a key point within the best practices on IT service management (ITSM). If we talk about IT service management, many people will relate it to ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library). ITIL offers a set of good practices for managing IT services and this is the most widely accepted framework of reference worldwide. However, there are companies that still do not adopt this type of methodologies, as is the case of the organization in this study. Because this consortium manages one of the main airports in South America, they need to improve their processes and be efficient in their management. The present research work aims to design a help desk that can solve the problems that your IT service currently has. Likewise, the best alternative solution that best suits your needs and resources will be evaluated and recommended. As a last point, the parameters to be considered for its implementation will be provided. / Trabajo de investigación

När föräldrar begär hem sitt barn : En kvalitativ studie om socialsekreterares handlingsutrymme och barnets anknytning vid en hemtagningsbegäran / When Parents Request Their Child Back Home : A Qualitative Study of the Social Workers Room for Maneuver in the Case of Home Return Request and Children'S Attachment

Hussein, Sara, El Dakkak, Sara January 2022 (has links)
The aim of this study is to examine how different factors affect the social worker's room for maneuver in relation to the case of home return request and the LVU process. Furthermore, the purpose is to examine how the social workers experience that the children are affected during home returns and what kind of effects it has on the children's attachment. The questions that have permeated our work are: What does the social worker's room for maneuver look like in relation to the case of home return request? and which factors do social workers believe affect the children's attachment to a home return request? The questions have been answered with the help of semi - structured interviews with five social workers from family home care. The results of the study have been analyzed with the help of previous research, Lipsky's theory, “Street level Bureaucracy” and Bowlby's attachment theory. The conclusion of the study has shown that the social workers' room of maneuver are complex but that the social workers have to some extent freedom of action. The room for maneuver is made possible and hindered by laws, guidelines and frameworks that exist in the organization. Furthermore, the conclusion showed that children's development can be affected when a home request becomes relevant, as the child both has a connection to the family home and their biological family. These attachment patterns that the child creates in turn create whether the child will develop healthily or not.

Gestion dynamique de ressources appliquée aux réseaux cellulaires avec interférence / Dynamic resource allocation for cellular networks with interference

Villa Trapala, Tania 26 September 2013 (has links)
The aim of this thesis is to design, implement and evaluate practical cross-layer algorithms. We focus on LTE and post-LTE uncoordinated networks where interference is a key issue given the new traffic patterns. The goal is to allocate the radio resources in an efficient way. We develop mathematical and computational interference models that allow us to understand the behavior of such networks and we apply an information-theoretic approach to different interference scenarios and traffic characteristics. We have tried to remain as close as possible to practical systems to be able to test the feasibility of the proposed techniques. The thesis deals with performance evaluation of interference scenarios in 4G networks, in particular those arising from small-cell deployments. The work in this thesis also deals with analysis of resource-allocation and incremental-redundancy based hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) for bursty interference (or more general time-varying channels) which allows for only partial channel state information at the transmitter. The work is then applied to practical scheduler design for LTE base stations and includes performance analysis for real LTE modems.

A Framework for Dynamic Selection of Backoff Stages during Initial Ranging Process in Wireless Networks

Mufti, Muhammad R., Afzal, Humaira, Awan, Irfan U., Cullen, Andrea J. 07 August 2018 (has links)
yes / The only available solution in the IEEE 802.22 standard for avoiding collision amongst various contending customer premises equipment (CPEs) attempting to associate with a base station (BS) is binary exponential random backoff process in which the contending CPEs retransmit their association requests. The number of attempts the CPEs send their requests to the BS are fixed in an IEEE 802.22 network. This paper presents a mathematical framework that helps the BS in determining at which attempt the majority of the CPEs become part of the wireless regional area network from a particular number of contending CPEs. Based on a particular attempt, the ranging request collision probability for any number of contending CPEs with respect to contention window size is approximated. The numerical results validate the effectiveness of the approximation. Moreover, the average ranging success delay experienced by the majority of the CPEs is also determined. / The full text will be available at the end of the publisher's embargo: 7th Aug 2018

Cross-border taking of evidence in civil and commercial matters in Switzerland, South Africa, Botswana, Namibia, Nigeria, and Uganda

Schleiffer Marais, Prisca Christina Leonie 11 December 2014 (has links)
The thesis investigates the extent to which cross-border taking of evidence in civil and com-mercial matters in relation to Switzerland, South Africa, Botswana, Namibia, Nigeria, and Uganda is allowed. Such evidence-taking is not only governed by the domestic law of the state seeking evidence abroad and that of the state where the relevant means of proof are located, but also by public international law, and more specifically by the concept of sovereignty. The ad-missibility of the cross-border taking of evidence under public international law depends on whether or not evidence-gathering in civil litigation is regarded as a judicial act, which violates sovereignty when performed on foreign territory, or as a purely private act. In the first case, the evidentiary material has to be obtained through channels of international judicial assistance. Such assistance can either be rendered based on the basis of an international treaty, or through courtoisie internationale. No international judicial assistance is necessary in cases of a so-called “transfer of foreign evidence”, provided no compulsion is applied which infringes the sovereignty of the foreign state. The thesis analyses the taking of evidence abroad based on the Hague Evidence Convention, and the Hague Procedure Convention. It further expounds how evidence located in Switzer-land, Botswana, Namibia, Nigeria, and Uganda can be obtained for the benefit of civil proceed-ings pending abroad in the absence of any relevant international treaty. The thesis also exam-ines under what conditions a litigant in civil proceedings in the aforementioned countries may request evidence to be taken on foreign soil. The position of cross-border taking of evidence in civil and commercial matters in the said countries is assessed, and suggestions are made on how such status quo may be improved. The thesis makes an attempt to establish the basic prin-ciples for a convention on evidence-taking in civil and commercial matters between South Af-rica, Botswana, Namibia, Nigeria, and Uganda. The development of such principles, however, is only possible once the similarities and differences in the procedure for the taking of evidence and the means of proof in the relevant laws of the aforesaid countries have been identified. / Public, Constitutional, & International / LL.D.

Žádost o ukončení života v zemích Beneluxu z pohledu občanského práva / Request for termination of life in Benelux countries from the perspective of civil law

Lutonský, Tomáš January 2015 (has links)
Request for termination of life in Benelux countries from the perspective of civil law The master's thesis is about euthanasia which is known as one of the most controversial and discussed topic in the world of law and medicine, especially termination of life on request. The aim of this work is to innovatively interduce unique legislation of termination of life on request in Benelux countries from the perspective of civil law because I am convinced of its importance despite being overshadowed by the meaning of criminal perspective. In a first chapter the terminology, definition and theory dividing will be explained. The other terms which are connected with the things above are the content of this part as well. The human rights related to euthanasia are discussed in next part of this work. Benelux countries have their own euthanasia enactment - this is what third chapter is about. Next part shows in-depth analysis of due care criteria which are countained in second chapter of Termination of life on request and Assisted Suicide Act. Fulfilment of these is one of criterias needed for impunity of the executor of termination of life on request. Fifth chapter is a key part of this work for civil law perspective because of legal requirements for request itself. It also describes related institutes -...

Zdvořilost v dánštině ve srovnání s češtinou / Politeness in Danish in Comparison with Czech

Halamíčková, Zuzana January 2011 (has links)
The aim of this thesis is to compare linguistic means of expressing politeness in Czech and in Danish. The term politeness covers both norms defining socially acceptable behaviour and strategies that speakers use to achieve their goals and avoid conflicts. After defining the term politeness, I briefly introduce the most influential theoretical approaches to politeness since the 1960s. The second chapter brings an overview of linguistic means of expressing politeness in Czech and in Danish. The last, most comprehensive part of the thesis is concerned with selected areas typically connected to politeness, i.e. greetings and forms of address, expressing thanks and reacting to them, orders, bans, and requests. In Czech, a polite request usually contains the particle prosím (please). This word has no equivalent in spoken Danish; however, Danish speakers can make use of other expressions, such as particles godt, nok, lige and vel, or the expression vil du være sød/venlig (would you be so kind). They can also use some of the conventional means of expressing a request indirectly. Many of those strategies are common to both languages, especially formulating the requests as a question, perhaps in a negative form. Polite requests in Czech are characterized by the use of conditional, Danish requests typically...
