Previous issue date: 2007-10-03 / Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior / This study investigated teachers feelings before the challenges of the school practice of
inclusion. The sample involved 10 teachers teaching grades 1 to 4 working in public
schools in the city of Osasco and surrounding areas. Participants were selected on the
basis of whether they taught in inclusive classes with special education students. Data
were collected through questionnaires and classified for content analysis. According to
the findings, teachers feelings involved frustration, lack of adequate preparation, and
lack of confidence before the challenge of dealing with special education students in
mainstream classrooms. Predominant feelings were lack of confidence, frustration,
isolation, anxiety, lack of preparation, and anguish due to difficulties such as lack of
resources and lack of adequate teaching methods for inclusion. The analysis of teachers
feelings and difficulties suggested implications for improving inclusion in schools, such
as: (a) the implementation of school policies geared towards improving work
conditions, (b) the improvement of teacher and staff training, and (c) more opportunities
for teachers working on affective components of their practice. All these should foster
collaboration among teachers and a deeper reflection on their actions as a way to assure
a more meaningful professional practice that supports a deeper concern with the needs
of each student, which is the very principle of school inclusion / O objetivo deste estudo constituiu em investigar os sentimentos de professores frente às

Previous issue date: 2009-09-16 / Secretaria da Educação do Estado de São Paulo / The inclusive education has been discussed a lot in Brazil and in the entire world.
For School Physical Education it has also been a challenge, since disability
children and teenagers do not effectively participate on this subject at the regular
public teaching system. This dissertation is a qualitative research and its scientific
base is the social and history perspective. This base considers the relation manworld
as a dialect relation of both constitutions. Its objective is the comprehension
of the sense built by the Physical Education Teachers towards the process of
inclusive education on disability students. In order to pick the data questionnaires
and interviews were used as instrument. The participating professionals were two
Physical Education teachers who teach for Fundamental Level (1º to 5º first school
years) and who has disability students. To make the analysis meaning nucleus
were developed as a way to approach the senses built by these two teachers. By
the results we conclude that frustration, love and suffering are factors which permit
making the analysis of the senses of inclusive education on disability students as
like as the difficulties faced on this process. We could also see the Physical
Education as a space to include that kind of students in classes. The reflection
about the research data permit us to point the need of an effective work on
common students and school community in order to really include the disability
students. That means to make them feel greeted and harbored on their
exceptional characteristics. This dissertation also point the need of overcoming
simplistic and superficial view on inclusion in order to develop an wide view on

Previous issue date: 2009-11-11 / Conselho Nacional de Desenvolvimento Científico e Tecnológico / The present study had the purposed of analyzing the concept of school inclusion - having students with deficiencies as primary focus - as expressed in educational and psychological literature. The search for publications was done at PEPSIC and SCIELO inside CAPES website, educational online bases and manual search in books and papers published from 1994 to 2008. Four elements were analyzed linked to the concept of school inclusion: the target population, the principles that underlay school inclusion, the school inclusion objectives and school inclusion policies. As a result, it was verified that school inclusion is a wide-ranging concept, inserted in a wide social inclusion concept; the basic principles behind it were already built-in in the first education initiatives to the people with deficiencies. The origins of problematic aspects of school inclusion have been identified and discussed. It was concluded that, being a complex matter, there is not a single concept of school inclusion of students with deficiencies. Such a diversity of conceptions may be due to the fact that the population that seeks/has to be included has grown and collisions appeared between the regular school and the special school as holders of the education of students with deficiencies / O presente estudo teve como objetivo analisar o conceito de inclusão escolar para alunos com deficiências, expresso na literatura das áreas da educação e da psicologia.

Previous issue date: 2008-05-08 / Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior / This work aims to analyze the education of teachers who work with students
with Special Education Needs in regular schools, in light of the fact that the
majority of teachers plan their pedagogical work based on their initial education,
and add to it knowledge and strategies deemed necessary during their careers.
The main authors that subsidize the work are Freire, Garcia, Imbernón, Mantoan,
Mizukami, Nóvoa, Sacristán and Tardif. The legislation and terminology pertaining to the
educational context were also used to provide a basis for the dialog of the theoretical
principles and for the opinion that the educators of a public school have on education.
As for research methodology, the choice was the qualitative approach. The
procedures used in the present study were bibliographic research, supported by
the analysis of some national and international documents; individual semistructured
interviews; and content analysis. Field research was conducted with
educators from an elementary school located in a city of the state of São Paulo
that included students with Special Education Needs. The collected data were
then compared with the theoretical framework.
Results show that the teachers current initial education virtually does not
approach the education of students with Special Education Needs. The teachers
personal processes of self-education and continuing education have to meet this
kind of demand. The teachers stated that their need to obtain basic information
about disabilities is fundamental, due to fear of the emergence of physical
problems, but, above all, to subsidize them in their pedagogical practice.
Education as a permanent process that is both individual and collective can
provide the teacher with knowledge to promote the inclusion of these students, but
this implies attitudes and commitment to the formation of an environment in which
diversity is the central focus of the learning process. In addition, public schools
need to make investments, as their discourse is inclusive, but they have difficulties
in changing the formats and organization in order to provide the adequate
education for teachers so that they can educate students with special education
autoformação e formação contínua municiar as demandas. As educadoras

confronts - from subjects of School Administration the lack of family structure.
Due to the found reality, we can infer that is done necessary an urgent
reformation of the school curriculum, investments of the publish politics in the

cidadania.

Previous issue date: 2012-02-23 / Conselho Nacional de Desenvolvimento Científico e Tecnológico / This work aims on educational polices issues on teachers´ education formation, also focuses
on the teacher´s education current institution centers, its curricular proposals and specific
discipline available by taking into account the service enabled for disabled students or those
with special intellectual needs. The main issue on this research is based on the investigation
about the reconceptualization level on curricular proposals focused on disabled student s
integration in regular school and, on teacher education institutions in Mozambique related to
domestic polices and into this subject, take into account recommended worldwide
organizations. Such research has also as a general objective to analyze how do the teachers
education formation polices are being embodied by different institutions, based on the
service provided to disabled students in the educational system in Mozambique. As a
procedure on the collection and data treatment, it has been prioritized the document analyses
on educational polices, academic organizations, curricular organizations from distinct courses
taken in the six institutions in different educational teaching levels and finally, interviews
taking place with the coordinators of teachers trainings. The data analysis is mainly based on
four basic sources: 1) national documentation on educational polices; 2) documentation from
teacher´s educational institutions; 3) documentation from curricular disciplines such as
discipline programs and its forecasts; and 4) interviews with coordinators from the
educational course having its content on services rendered to disabled students in each one of
the six different levels of education, based on Bernstein (1985 e 1988) and Gimeno Sacristán
(2000) contributions, when it comes to reconceptualization, organization and assessments
introduced in distinct educational system levels, especially in teacher´s educational
institutions located in Mozambique. The main findings demonstrate the centralized curricular
proposal in Institutos de Formação de Professores (IFPs) and it didn´t guarantee action
sameness, neither incorporation on the main national education polices for everybody, aiming
in foreseeing an inclusive education that reflects through its reduction a subtype of general
discipline. Regarding university degree, it has been verified the same process on reduction
basis. Although, it is possible to certify that, next to the reduced perspective and traditional
one, when it comes to disabled or intellectual students education it has been discovered
some candidate initiatives still not yet completely formed but on the incorporation of
Bernstein (1985 e 1988) e Gimeno Sacristán (2000), no referente à recontextualização,

Previous issue date: 2013-07-29 / Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior / The objective of this thesis is to analyze the limits and possibilities of school inclusion for students with disabilities in high school modalities EJA/Special Education. Taken as empirical field a school in the state capital of the state of São Paulo, accredited as inclusive for catering to a significant number of disabled students. As research procedures were used: bibliographic survey, documentary analysis and questionnaires answered by twelve (12) students and nine (9) teachers. The analysis of collected data was based on the theoretical contributions of Pierre Bourdieu, Escolano e Viñao Frago, Antônio Nóvoa e Licínio C. Lima. The argument is that the government agencies, federal and state policies aim to propose actions to promote school inclusion of students with disabilities or not, by means of the EJA; and school inclusion of students with disabilities, by means of the Special Education, but maintain or create a set of impediments of organizational, political, bureaucratic, such that they, rather than support, usually produce barriers to their accomplishment. At the end of the analysis, it was confirmed the hypothesis that in order to decrease the limits and extend the possibilities of achieving the proposed objectives for the EJA, eliminating the supplementary nature and focus on streamlining which nowadays characterizes this modality, besides making the inclusion of disabled students an effective educational policy through Special Education, the state would need to invest more than it has or is willing to in its "left hand" through the administrative-bureaucratic organization, financial resources and dialogue among formulators, executors and recipients of actions / O objetivo desta tese é analisar os limites e possibilidades da inclusão escolar de alunos deficientes no Ensino Médio nas modalidades EJA/Educação Especial.

Previous issue date: 2016-03-09 / Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior / The inclusion of students with intellectual disabilities requires the development of educational proposals for learning the content established in school. The guidelines established by PMSP seek operationalize the teaching strategies geared towards students with disabilities included in regular education classes through the support of Regent's professor of Follow-up and support room the inclusion. Whose current instrument is the document entitled "Evaluation Referential About Student Learning with Intellectual Disabilities Elementary School I" (São Paulo, 2008), based on "Curriculum Guidelines Preposition of Expectations of Learning Elementary School I" (2007). This document is intended to support the evaluation of the teacher of the classroom, have students with intellectual disabilities, to analyse the learning process and propose actions for the resizing of the pedagogical practices. This research aims to analyze the guidelines, conceptions and theoretical and practical propositions contained in this Benchmark, by matching them with those contained in the guidelines for Curriculum students considered normal. The analysis of the data collected and organized, the documents cited above, was based on the contributions of Vygotsky (1997, 2001, 2005, 2007, 2008, 2009), in particular the concepts of zone of proximal development, mediation processes and exploration of abstraction ability of students with intellectual disabilities. The main findings of the investigation can be thus described: 1) that the suggested adaptations Express, by lentificação and reduction of content, the prospect of impossibility of access to written language, but that expectations of school content learning (Oral Language, mathematics, science, geography and history) promote generally the development of abstract thought, which shows that the prospect of irreversibility of mental deficiency lies especially in relation to the field of written language; 2) the constant reiteration that indicated expectations can only be met with support from the teacher or more experienced colleagues are damaging to the development of abstract thought, which meets with the vygostskyana perspective, that the document claims to be its theoretical basis / A inclusão dos alunos com deficiência intelectual requer o desenvolvimento de propostas educacionais para a aprendizagem dos conteúdos estabelecidos na escola.

Previous issue date: 2007-03-20 / Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior / The present study aims at investigating the interaction between mentally impaired students enrolled on regular school courses and their classmates, and identifies evidences of rejection or acceptance behaviors. This work verifies the variation in the levels of acceptance or rejection by comparing two schools, one with an implemented inclusion program and other with no such concern. It is based upon the concept that inclusion processes bring about new questions that require investigation and in the presumption that a mental impairment (as a negative characteristic of a student) brings difficulties to his social relationships which can be reduced by well defined inclusion policies. Two hypotheses are proposed considering this: first, that the rejection levels towards mentally disabled students are high, especially in terms of study matters, due to their learning capability; and second, that the existence of a pedagogic program on school inclusion favors interpersonal relationships between the mentally impaired student and his classmates. Pursuing a broader view of the students relationships and answers to these questions, the main data collection tool was the sociometric test. It has been chosen due to its competency for denoting multiple aspects of the social processes in a more vivid and spontaneous manner, and for its versatility and universality. The research was conducted with students of the second grade of one school and with students of the fourth grade of a different one. It verifies the effects of a pedagogic program on school inclusion, present in only one of the two schools, in the relationships established by the disabled students. Considering the interaction between regular students and disabled ones, it was found that penalty truly existed in all fields surveyed, named affectivity, playing and study. But differences were observed as the rejection levels towards the disabled student were not the highest in one school meanwhile the presence of the disabled student was not even noticed in the other. This was expected and had been registered before in the literature (Moreno, Bastin). The hypothesis of highest disadvantage in terms of study, probably due to learning deficiencies of the impaired students, has not been verified as they have not been the most reject students. Similarly, their rejection levels in terms of study were not above their average regarding the other topics of the survey. Finally, there has been no confirmation regarding the hypothesis of social relationships benefits for the disabled student in a school with a pedagogic program on school inclusion.

Previous issue date: 2012-05-07 / Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior / The demand for school inclusion of students with mental disabilities we
face today has caused a great commotion for all of those involved, both
students and their families and educators of regular schools and professionals
of specialized institutions. This research aims to address this theme analyzing
the diagnosis and definition of this disability.
Along the way, we encountered the heavy load of studies and researches
on this subject, which are characterized by the profound discrimination which
has historically followed this disability, as well as the difficulties human beings
face when dealing with it. As a result, studies and solutions provided by the
modern with the purpose of achieving normative ideals had segregative
characteristics. Thus, specialized actions were taken towards people diagnosed
with a disability associated to an organic and incurable pathology. In addition,
the mental disability was slowly identified as children s intellectual and
developmental disabilities, which made it become a monopoly of behavioral and
organicistic sciences.
When discussing this theme, psychoanalysis introduced the matter of the
subject, which triggered an actual subversion of how de disability was
approached, making it possible to introduce the subject of the unconscious in a
clinic filled with behavioral concepts. Thus, we analyzed the psychoanalytical
approach on the inhibition and difficulties to advance in this study, with the
purpose of going beyond the understanding of a simple cognitive deficit for this
disability. Therefore we dedicated a chapter to the disability, on how the subject,
in a weak position, builds social ties and how the subject faces instances of
symbolic, imaginary and real.
Analysis of contemporaneity was required so that we can understand the
world where we live and the place occupied by the current inclusion movement.
We verified that we live a moment when an anthropological turn is taking
place, where both social life and according to some authors, the very psychic
economy. Our time is characterized by the weakening of the Great Other, by the
loss of legitimacy of the father figure, which evidently have consequences on the subject, and, not by chance, the disability is increased in this context. In our
contemporaneity, specialized institutions created in order to enforce segregation
are able to reverse this process taking part of inclusion and enabling the subject
to leave that weak position. However, this possibility is created if they accept
changing themselves and performing actions which include subjective issues,
normative and homogenizing ideals.
The last chapter explores school institutions and those institutions
specialized in education, mastery and teaching, expressing our point of view
that the inclusion will take place when the subject is included in all of these
deficiência, possibilitando introduzir o sujeito do inconsciente numa clínica
impregnada de conceitos comportamentais. Diante deste fato, contemplamos a
social, quanto, segundo alguns autores, a própria economia psíquica. Nossa
As
