Face à un retour en effectifs croissants des enseignants du primaire du Burkina Faso en formation continue à l’université, notre recherche visait à questionner cette démarche individuelle et à en dégager les fondements. En second point, il s’est agi d’interroger les dispositifs de formation continue en vigueur en général et, en ce qui concerne notamment les universités, de comprendre les mécanismes mis en place pour accompagner la demande des instituteurs. Au terme de nos investigations, nous retenons pour l’essentiel que les motivations des enquêtés sont multiples. Dans l’ensemble, des raisons de promotion professionnelle, de renforcement de compétences ainsi que des mobiles économiques sont à l’origine de cet engagement. S’il apparait un glissement entre les différents prétextes, il convient de mentionner toutefois la persistance du motif identitaire au travers des autres motifs laissant ainsi penser qu’aux côtés des raisons évoquées pour justifier le retour en formation continue universitaire, la reconnaissance sociale préside la démarche des enseignants du primaire concernés.En outre, si les universités burkinabè prévoient des dispositifs pour prendre en charge la formation continue, notre recherche révèle que ces dispositifs ne sont pas encore suffisamment outillés pour faire face à la demande des enseignants du primaire. / In view of a return to an increasing number of primary school teachers of Burkina Faso in permanent adult training at the university, our research was aiming at questioning this individual procedure and highlight its foundations. Secondly, it was to question the systems of permanent adult training generaly in force and as far as the universities are mainly concerned, to understand the mecanisms settled to accompany the request of the teachers.At the end at our investigations, we essentially understand that the motivations of those who have been questioned are many.In the whole, some reasons of professional promotion, of competence reinforcement as well as some economic motives are at the origine of this commitment. If a difference appears between the different excuses, we should however mention the persistance of the identitary motive through the others, which may lead us to think that next to the recalled reasons to justify the return in universitary permanent adult training, the social recorgnition presides over the approach of the concerned primary school teachers.In addition, if the univesities in Burkina Faso predict some systems to take in charge the permanent training, our research reveals that these systems are not yet suffisciently able to face the request of the primary school teachers.

This essay explores the challenges that we as teachers in the extended school can face whenimplementing sustainable special educational methods. With a specific focus on the TEACCHmethod and the use of visual support in communication. Our intention is that we, based on ourstories and experiences, will investigate what can hinder this development work and whetherthere are any success factors for us as leaders at the after-school center. The primary questionsare ”What is it that makes it so difficult to implement sustainable development work withTEACCH in the work teams?” and ”What kind of leaders do we need to be to be able to leadthis sustainable development work?”. Detta med fokus på tydliggörande pedagogik ochbilder som visuellt stöd i kommunikation. Syftet är att vi, utifrån våra berättelser ocherfarenheter, ska undersöka vad som kan försvåra detta utvecklingsarbete och om det finnsnågra framgångsfaktorer för oss som ledare på fritidshemmet. De primära frågorna är ”Vad ärdet som gör att det är så svårt att implementera ett hållbart utvecklingsarbete medtydliggörande pedagogik i arbetslagen?” och ”Vilka typer av ledare behöver vi vara för attkunna leda detta hållbara utvecklingsarbete?”. Som undersökningsmetod använder vi oss avessäformen då vi, genom det reflexiva skrivandet, bland annat vill få syn på vilka vi är somledare och vilka ledare vi behöver vara i ett effektivt utvecklingsarbete. I vår reflektionutforskar vi vilken kunskap vi på fritidshemmet behöver ha i bemötandet av elever i behov avsärskild kunskap och förståelse. Vi reflekterar även över hur vi får ny viktig kunskap och hurvi som ledare förmedlar den kunskapen.

The thesis focuses on a teacher beginner at country primary school. It is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. In the theoretical part, we define the concept of a beginning teacher, his competences, professional preparation for teaching in primary school and specific problems of a novice teacher. It also deals with a small school with mixed-age (multileveled) classes, with the history and the specifics of this type of school. A special part of this thesis is focused on the teaching process in schools with age-mixed classes. The practical part aims to describe and evaluate specific problems beginning teachers have at small schools with age-mixed classes, as well as their personal experience. The thesis focuses on differentiation, which is currently a highly discussed topic in connection with inclusive education. Teachers are expected to adjust their way of teaching to the individual needs of students in heterogeneous classrooms. The aim of this thesis is to examine various differentiation strategies and methods, which teachers could use and moreover, to discover whether the methods are being applied to education scheme in a private primary school and if so, then in what ways. The theoretical part introduces the terms differentiation and individualisation and in addition, explores teaching strategies and methods supporting differentiation together with allowing for the individual students' needs. The empirical study investigates the use of differentiation strategies among private primary school teachers. Qualitative research is based on in-depth interviews with teachers, which were conducted right before and after detailed in class-observation of their teaching. The research discovered that out of various differentiation strategies and methods, which were introduced in the theoretical part, the majority of observed classes were focusing on group work and critical thinking. The thesis examines the personality of an introverted teacher at elementary school. In the theoretical part, it shows the profession of teacher through the professional competences and activities of which the profession of teacher consists. Following is a brief overview of personality theories, which aims towards a deeper understanding of the personality of man and a closer understanding of the concepts of introversion and extraversion. It also addresses the strengths and weaknesses of introversion and lists four types of introverted perception of the world. The empirical part examines how the introverted type express itself in the role of teacher and what are his strengths and weaknesses. Both men and women currently working as teachers at elementary school were approached for the research. An online personality questionnaire was used to identify the personality type of individual respondents. Method of in-depth interview was chosen for the data collection itself. Only respondents with an introverted personality type were selected for in-depth interviews. The results of the research brought a deeper understanding of the personality of the introverted teacher. This diploma thesis brings information about the perception of the teaching profession by secondary school students, their parents, and teachers of a selected primary school. The aim of the work is to find out with the help of questionnaires, how pupils and their parents subjectively see and perceive teachers and how the teachers who teach pupils themselves see their profession as a teacher. In the theoretical part, I deal with the historical development of education and the teaching profession in our territory. I also deal with the characteristics of the teaching profession by clarifying the very concept, personality traits, and typology of the teacher's personality. This section also includes chapters on the competence of the teacher, his authority and motivation to choose the teaching profession. In the last part, I deal with the current form of the teaching profession in primary school, the requirements for the profession, and including selected problems of our education. In the practical part, I used a questionnaire survey to evaluate the data obtained by individual respondents among students, parents, and teachers and then I analyzed the data of individual groups of respondents and drew a conclusion. Påtvingat flexibelt arbete : En kvalitativ studie om gymnasielärares distansarbete under Coronakrisen

Syftet med denna kvalitativa studie är att bidra med kunskaper om gymnasielärares subjektiva upplevelser av omställningen till distansarbete, i och med Coronakrisen, samt bringa kunskaper om omställningens påverkan på arbetslivsbalansen samt välbefinnandet. För att möjliggöra besvarande av studiens forskningsfrågor valde vi intervju som datainsamlingsmetod. Sju gymnasielärare med olika undervisningsämnen, olika kön och olika åldrar som arbetar på fyra olika gymnasieskolor i Sverige valde att delta i studien. De semistrukturerade intervjuerna tillhandahöll oss kunskaper om gymnasielärarnas upplevelser av omställningen till distansarbete samt hur det påverkar gymnasielärarnas arbetslivsbalans och välbefinnande. Det empiriska materialet som först analyserades med hjälp av en tematisk analysmetod analyserades sedan mot bakgrund av JD-R-modellen (Bakker & Demeroutis, 2017) samt Gränsteori (Clark, 2000). Resultaten visade på att de förändrade kraven vid distansundervisning upplevdes som både utmanande och hindrande. Vissa ansåg att omställningen fört med sig fördelar såsom en ökad kontroll och förbättrat välbefinnande medan andra upplevde att det fört med sig negativa aspekter gällande dess motivation och arbetsglädje. Gemensamt var upplevelsen av avsaknad av socialt stöd samt avsaknad av feedback från eleverna. Vidare, visade resultatet på att gränsdragning mellan arbetsliv och privatliv, anses av respondenterna, som mer eller mindre relevant. Resultatet visade förekomsten av en del konkreta strategier för att skapa balans, om än balansen ansågs uppstå naturligt på grund av familjeförhållanden i privatlivet såsom barn som kräver full uppmärksamhet. I syfte att utöka sina resurser samt öka arbetsglädjen och välbefinnandet använde sig många respondenter av så kallat job crafting, genom att omforma sitt arbete. En framgångsfaktor för ökat välbefinnande visade sig vara en balans mellan krav och resurser. / The aim of this qualitative study is to contribute with knowledge of high school teachers' subjective experiences of the transition to distance work, during the Corona crisis, and to bring knowledge about the impact of the transition on the teachers’ work-life balance and well-being. To enable answering the study's research questions, we chose interviews as data collection method. Seven high school teachers with different subjects, different sexes, and different ages who work at four different high schools in Sweden chose to participate in the study. The semi-structured interviews provided us with knowledge about the experiences of high school teachers regarding the transition to distance work and how it affects their work- life balance and well-being. The empirical material was analyzed using a thematic method of analysis and then analyzed in the light of the JD-R model (Bakker & Demeroutis, 2017) and Boundary Theory (Clark, 2000). The results showed that the changed requirements in distance education were perceived as both challenging and hindering. Some considered that the transition resulted in benefits such as increased control and improved well-being, while others felt that it resulted in negative aspects regarding motivation and job satisfaction. One common experience was a lack of social support and a lack of feedback from the students. Furthermore, the results regarding the boundary between work and private life, are considered by the respondents as more or less relevant. The result showed the existence of some concrete strategies for creating balance, although the balance was considered to occur naturally as a result of family relationships in private life, for example children who require full attention. In order to increase their resources as well as increase job satisfaction and well- being, many respondents used so-called job crafting, by reshaping their work. A success factor for increased well-being turned out to be balance between demands and resources.

Grundskollärares utmattning associerat med organisatorisk och social arbetsmiljö : En tvärsnittsstudie om krav och kontroll samt obalans mellan arbete och privatliv

Bakgrund: Det har påvisats att brister i den organisatoriska och sociala arbetsmiljön kan ge upphov till psykisk ohälsa och att grundskollärare är särskilt utsatta gällande höga krav och låg kontroll i arbetet. Tidigare studier har visat på att höga krav är en stor riskfaktor för att stressrelaterade psykiska besvär kan uppkomma i den organisatoriska och sociala arbetsmiljön. Vidare ses att obalans mellan arbete och privatliv kan påverka den psykiska hälsan negativt och att grundskollärares arbetsuppgifter kan påverka balansen mellan arbete och privatliv. Syfte: Syftet med studien var att undersöka om det finns något samband mellan utmattning bland grundskollärare och deras organisatoriska och sociala arbetsmiljö samt den balans mellan arbete och privatliv de beskriver. Metod: Studien var kvantitativ med en tvärsnittsdesign och bekvämlighetsurval som bestod av grundskollärare. Ett elektroniskt frågeformulär baserat på Copenhagen Psychosocial Questionnaire Version III användes för att samla in data som genererade 85 ifyllda frågeformulär. Korrelationsanalys, bivariata och multipla regressionsanalyser samt oberoende t-test användes som analysmetoder i SPSS. Resultat: Resultatet från den multipla regressionsanalysen indikerade en statistisk signifikant association mellan utmattning och obalans mellan arbete och privatliv (β= ,601, SE= ,072, P< ,001). Signifikanta samband identifierades i bivariata regressionsanalyser för krav och kontroll i arbetet och utmattning. De oberoende t-testen påvisade signifikanta skillnader för utmattning där de respondenter som upplevde en hög obalans mellan arbete och privatliv upplevde högre utmattning jämfört med de som upplevde låg obalans oberoende av vilken grad av krav och kontroll som upplevdes. Slutsats: Faktorer i den organisatoriska och sociala arbetsmiljön påverkar utmattningsgraden negativt. Då detta är en tvärsnittsstudie går det inte att dra några kausala samband och mer forskning med longitudinella studier med större population och ett obundet slumpmässigt urval krävs för att säkerställa dessa resultat. / Aim: The aim of the study was to investigate whether there is any association between exhaustion among primary school teachers and their psychosocial work environment as well as the work-life balance they describe. Method: The study employed a cross-sectional design and an electronic questionnaire, based on Copenhagen Psychosocial Questionnaire Version III, was used to collect the data which generated 85 completed questionnaires. The data was analyzed with correlations analysis, linear regression analysis, and t-test. Results: The result indicated a statistically significant association between exhaustion and work-life imbalance (P< .001). The degree of exhaustion was significant higher for those who experienced a high work-life imbalance compared with those who experienced a low imbalance regardless of the degree of demand and control in work. Conclusion: The psychosocial work environment affects the degree of exhaustion. As this is a cross-sectional study, it is not possible to draw any causal relationships and more research with longitudinal studies with random sample and larger populations is required to ensure these results.
