Autorské herectví jako (ne)výchova k osobnosti / Authorial Acting as (Non)education towards a Self

Pártlová, Zuzana January 2018 (has links)
This doctoral thesis explores the potential of authorial acting as a tool for open-ended self-education. It focuses on the properties and the process of acquiring psychosomatic capacity for presentation in front of an audience as a means of self-discovery and self-realization through play (Dialogical Acting with the Inner Partner) and other preparatory psychosomatic drama disciplines. The secondary subject of this thesis is the relevance of this capacity to teachers and educators. In the theoretical section, I present the essential terms and concepts as well as the basis of my research. I explain why I use the expression "(non)education towards a self” rather than "personal education” and how one's holistic and creative conditioning relates to the skills of a pedagogue or educator in the broadest sense of the word. The qualitative research section consists of three parts which correspond to three research projects. The first part explores the "personal trajectories" of students of the two-year “Creative Pedagogy-Pedagogical Condition” (CP-PC) study program. The exploration is based on written reflections and a two-day encounter devoted to discussion and creative work. The encounter involved practical workshops as well as talks with I. Vyskočil and E. Vyskočilová and student discussions. The aim was to explore the development of the individual psychosomatic “fitness" by means that go beyond written subjective reflections and offer live confrontations with oneself and others in workshops and discussions. The second part focuses on the issue of authenticity and the triple actor-viewer-assistant relation. Using simultaneous recording with two cameras and focus groups, we tried to analyze the moments of spontaneity during the experimentation and to identify the essential features of authentic expression. The themes that significantly emerged from the research were the theme of inner and outer spectator and of body resonance and joy as main characteristics of authentic presence. In the third section, I followed up on the findings of the previous sections in 16 semistructured interviews with students of the CP-PC program as well as regular and external students at the department. These interviews were analyzed using the method of open coding combining two perspectives: a broader, theme-focused perspective and a narrower, notional one. This research reveals the complexity of tacit learning processes which, in the context of play and psychosomatics, foster a personal evolution towards an original, creative personality, i.e. "becoming one's self”. Simultaneously, this research attempts to define the essential "virtues” of authentic acting and outlines the benefits of Vyskočil´s pedagogy for education of educators.

[en] THEME, SUBJECT AND AGENT: PORTUGUESE PASSIVE VOICE IN SISTEMICFUNCTIONAL PERSPECTIVE / [pt] TEMA, SUJEITO E AGENTE: A VOZ PASSIVA PORTUGUESA EM PERSPECTIVA SISTÊMICO-FUNCIONAL

HELENA FERES HAWAD 03 June 2003 (has links)
[en] The object of this work are the Portuguese grammatical structures traditionally known as analytical passive voice and synthetic (or pronominal) passive voice. Considering their use in texts, the semantic similarities and differences between them are analysed within a systemic- functional framework. The study of these structures in different journalistic genres - reports, editorials and articles - reveals distributional differences, as synthetic passive voice nearly does not occur in reports. Taking this fact as evidence of the functional nonequivalence between the two structures, the work studies the meaning of their occurrences in context, in order to identify the specific contribution of each type of structure to the realization of the text meanings. The meaning of each structure is thus analysed in its textual, ideational and interpersonal components. In the textual domain, analytical passive voice, which is characterized by the conversion of the affected participant into Subject and, consequently, into unmarked Theme, functions primarily as a resource for placing given information before new information, in the order of clause constituents. Synthetic passive voice, on the contrary, does not bear this property of turning a participant into Theme, once it is the Process that occupies the clause first position in this structure. In most of the occurrences of synthetic passive voice, the constituent which would be the Subject of the correspondent clause in analytical passive voice represents new information. So, the two structures contribute in different ways to the organization of the informational flow of the text. In the ideational domain, there is, on the one hand, a difference in the distribution of process types between the structures. Synthetic passive voice is more suitable for the representation of mental processes than analytical passive voice. On the other hand, however, it is in the ideational component that the two structures share a semantic feature, as both of them allow representation of a process without identification of the Agent. Finally, in the interpersonal domain, the structures are distinguished by the fact that synthetic passive voice has indeterminate Subject, differently from analytical passive voice. Indeterminate Subject, characterized by a maximum indefiniteness of grammatical person, permits a variety of meaning effects concerning the author`s and the reader`s involvement. A characterization of analytical passive voice and synthetic passive voice is thus proposed in terms of semantic features, in a system of three binary parameters, correspondent to the three systemic- functional metafunctions. This analysis of meaning in independent features allows a better understanding of the specific semantic potential of each structure, as well as of the functionality of each one in discourse.

La Perspectiva Indigenista y Neoindifenista de Huasipungo y Porque se Fueron las Garzas

Bergman, Laura 08 July 1996 (has links)

The Effect of Processing Conditions on the Energetic Diagram of CdTe Thin Films Studied by Photoluminescence

Collins, Shamara P. 02 July 2018 (has links)
The photovoltaic properties of CdTe-based thin films depend on recombination levels formed in the CdTe layer and at the heterojunction. The localized states are resultant of structural defects (metal sublattice, chalcogen sublattice, interstitial), controlled doping, deposition process, and/or post-deposition annealing. The photoluminescence study of CdTe thin films, from both the bulk and heterojunction, can reveal radiative states due to different defects or impurities. Identification of defects allows for potential explanation of their roles and influence on solar cell performance. A thorough understanding of the material properties responsible for solar cell performance is critical in further advancing the efficiency of devices. The presented work is a systematic investigation using photoluminescence to study CdTe thin films with varying deposition processes. The thin (polycrystalline) films explored in this study were deposited by either the elemental vapor transport technique (EVT) or close spaced sublimation (CSS). Two device architectures were investigated, the typical CdTe/CdS device and the CdSeXTe1-X (CST) alloy device. Post-deposition annealing processes were either laser or thermal. The study of the CdTe thin films is grouped in three general categories: (a) EVT films: Intrinsic and Extrinsic (Group V: Sb and P), (b) CST alloys, and (c) Post-deposition Laser Annealed (LA) films. The main goal of this dissertation is to understand the influence of fabrication procedures (deposition conditions, post deposition thermal and chemical treatments, added impurities, and device architecture) on the defect structure of the CdTe thin films. The behavior of the photoluminescence (PL), studied as a function of the measurement temperature and excitation intensity, provides insight to the mechanism causing the radiative recombination levels. Analysis of the PL spectra for CdTe films with intrinsic doping demonstrated stoichiometric control of native defects for both the Cd- and Te-rich conditions. PL spectra of CdTe:Sb films showed unique Sb-related bands. Also, impurity-related defects were identified in the CdTe:P spectra. Spectral analysis support the need for optimization of dopant concentration. The effects of selenium (Se) thickness and post-deposition processing on the formation of CST alloy were demonstrated in the changing PL spectra. The native defects (and complexes) identified in films with thermal anneal processing were the same as those identified in films with laser anneal post-deposition processing. The PL data were collected and other characterization techniques were used to support the defect assignments. A repository of material properties, which include the recombination levels along with structural defect assignment for each of the CdTe deposition processes, is provided. This project will lend the solar cell community information on CdTe defects for different processing conditions, ultimately influencing the fabrication of improved solar cells.

Finansiella nyckeltal - analysinstrument eller reklam?

Westdahl, Ann-Britt January 2009 (has links)

Subordinação Adverbial : um estudo cognitivo sobre o infinitivo, o clítico SE e as formas verbais finitas em proposições adverbiais do Português Europeu / Adverbial subordination : a cognitive study on the infinitive, the clitic SE and finite verb forms in European Portuguese adverbial clauses

Vesterinen, Rainer January 2006 (has links)
<p>The aim of this study is to analyse the variation between infinitive and finite verb adverbial clauses in European Portuguese. In order to understand this variation, three central questions are raised: (1) What determines the use of the uninflected vs. the inflected infinitive in same-subject adverbial clauses? (2) What does the pronoun SE signal in these adverbial clauses? (3) What difference is there between the use of the inflected infinitives vs. finite verbs in different subject adverbial clauses?</p><p>Earlier investigations about these three questions are discussed. One conclusion of this review is that former research almost exclusively has been conducted from a traditional or formalistic point of view that has given priority to structural descriptions instead of semantic or conceptual explanations. In contrast to this, the present study endeavours to examine these issues from a cognitive linguistic perspective.</p><p>It is claimed that the use of the inflected infinitive in adverbial same-subject clauses may be explained by contextual factors which create a cognitive need to highlight the subject of the adverbial clause. Further, an analysis about how the grammatical micro-context can determine the interpretation of the clitic pronoun SE as a marker for a generic trajector is conducted. It is also argued that the difference between infinitive and finite adverbial clauses can bee explained by means of theories of subjectification and mental spaces.</p><p>The conclusion is drawn that a cognitive approach to grammar can, indeed, shed light on the issues considered. In particular, it is shown that different adverbial constructions can express different conceptual meaning. In the light of this fact, other issues concerned with finite and infinite verb forms are raised.</p>
