This document identifies elements of a stylistic change which occurred in several of the pieces Rachmaninoff wrote during the last years of his life. These elements reflect a progressive trend in his music, which certainly maintained in spite of the change, its characteristic sound. The Variations on a Theme of Corelli, Op. 42 illustrate these new developments in their lean, angular unison sonorities, stripped of chordal padding and virtuosic display, in their percussive, staccato and incisive ostinato rhythmic figures, astringent chromatic harmony and modern air of detachment. The Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini, Op. 43 confirms this stylistic development in its remarkable similarity to the Corelli Variations. In the last twenty-six years of his life in exile from his homeland, making his way around the world as a concert pianist, Rachmaninoff wrote only six major works. Perhaps his increasing age, separation from homeland, and the musical revolutions surrounding him in the Western world produced this stylistic development.

The thesis is focused on the creation of Jan Zahradníček in the 40th and 50th years of 20th century, namely collections of Rouška Veroničina, La Salleta, Znamení moci. Dům strachu and Čtyři léta. The aim of this thesis is to show exclusivity and specifics of these collections. The thesis analyzes the collection in the terms of composition, rhythm and motive, and monitors their individual transformations. All with taking into account the importance of historical context of the period in which these works were created. At the end we present prison Poetry of Zahradníček as a specific, non-contextual genre that does not have analogues in Czech literature. Postavení scénických příslovečných určení v angličtině a češtině. Srovnání na základě paralelních textů. / The position of scene-setting adverbials in English and Czech. A comparison on the basis of parallel texts

The subject of the presented paper is the analysis of the position of scene-setting adverbials based on parallel texts. The aim of the study is to find out the most typical position for placing of such adverbials realized by verbless construction and to determine the factors influencing the position in both languages with respect to differences between the Czech and English word order. The theory is based on the functional approach described in Brno linguistic school and is applied to 200 examples from the corpus Intercorp. Out of the given number of examples, exactly one hundred tokens belong to the translation direction from En to Cz and the second half to the opposite direction of translation. With respect to the English word order, which takes over some of the grammatical functions resulting in relative rigidity, scene-setting adverbials are usually placed in the final position. However, it is assumed that most languages have a tendency to place the most important information to the end of the sentence. It follows that one of the goals of this work is to describe the factors allowing these adverbials to be placed in this position with no effect on the communicative dynamism of the adverbials themselves as well as on other sentence elements. Esta tese focaliza a trajetória do tema musical Folias de Espanha, que constitui um dos mais notáveis fenômenos na musicologia devido à sua permanente recorrência na História da Música. Nosso objetivo foi ampliar o escopo interdisciplinar de estudo e de reflexão musicológica através da compreensão da utilização do tema na História da Música e sua historiografia, a fim de enriquecer o horizonte de nossa prática acadêmica. A Folias de Espanha é uma melodia simples e de caráter enigmático que surgiu em Portugal no início do século XVI como uma dança selvagem popular das ruas que teve sua estrutura rítmica e harmônica modificadas ao passar pela Espanha. Da península ibérica, migrou para a Itália e foi levada por guitarristas italianos à corte francesa, transformando-se ali em uma dança majestosa. Sua história a partir desse itinerário é complexa e reflete sua grande popularidade, pois ela ainda constitui grande fonte de inspiração para diversos compositores, desde nomes consagrados como Bach, Beethoven e Liszt, até trilhas compostas para filmes comerciais. Outros temas musicais apresentam a mesma recorrência histórica, como por exemplo, o hino católico Dies Irae do século XIII ou o tema do Capricho N.24 de Paganini, mas a retomada da Folias de Espanha como tema musical é a mais recorrente na História da Música. / This thesis focuses on the trajectory of the theme Spanish Folias, which is one of the most remarkable phenomena in musicology due to its permanent recurrence in music history. Our goal was to broaden the scope of interdisciplinary study and musicological reflection through the understanding of the use of the theme in music history and its historiography, in order to enrich the horizon of our academic practice. The Spanish Folias is a simple melody with enigmatic character that first appeared in Portugal in the early sixteenth century as a wild popular street dance that had its rhythmic and harmonic structure modified by passing through Spain. From the Iberian Peninsula, it traveled to Italy and was taken by Italian guitarists to the French court, becoming into a majestic dance. Its history starting from this itinerary is complex and reflects its great popularity, since it still constitutes a great source of inspiration for several composers, since renowned names such as Bach, Beethoven and Liszt, until soundtracks composed for commercial movies. Other musical themes display the same historical recurrence, as for example, the XIII century catholic hymn Dies Irae or Paganinis Caprice N.24, but the resuming of Spanish Folias as musical subject is the most recurrent in the History of Music.

A experiência materna na clínica da obesidade infantil: estudo psicanalítico / The maternal experience in the clinical treatment of childhood obesity: a psychoanalytic study

A presente pesquisa objetiva investigar psicanaliticamente a experiência emocional de mães de crianças com diagnóstico de obesidade, justificando-se na medida em que o tratamento da condição, que inclui atenção psicológica, implica importante participação materna. O trabalho se organiza como estudo de caso da mãe de uma criança obesa em atendimento. O material clínico apresentado corresponde a duas narrativas transferenciais, relativas à história de vida e à entrevista individual da participante, que inclui suas manifestações produzidas em resposta ao Procedimento de Desenhos-Estórias com Tema. A consideração psicanalítica desse material permitiu a produção interpretativa de dois campos de sentido afetivo emocional: Sou mãe de um menino, logo existo e Minha mãe me ama, logo existo que apontam para dificuldades básicas e para movimentos de busca de constituição de si mesma como pessoa significativa para si e para o outro. Fica assim demonstrado que a experiência emocional materna, no caso estudado, está fortemente marcada por dificuldades subjetivas básicas, ligadas a processos de constituição de self, o que provavelmente afeta o cuidado psicológico do filho. Tal achado indica que é possível que a obesidade infantil seja expressão sintomática de complexas configurações familiares, de caráter transgeracional / The present study aims to psychoanalytically investigate the emotional experience of obesity diagnosis children´s mothers, justifying on the extent that the treatment of the condition, which includes psychological attention, implies important maternal participation. The work is organized as a case study of an obese in care child´s mother. The clinical material presented corresponds to two transferential narratives, related to life history and to individual participant interview, which includes their manifestation produced in response to the Theme Drawings-Story Procedure. The psychoanalytical consideration of this material allowed the interpretative production of two fields of emotional affection: I am a boy´s mother, so I exist and My mother loves me, so I exist, which points out to basic difficulties and to constitution seeking movements to herself as a significant person to her own and to the other individual. It is thus demonstrated that the maternal emotional experience, in the studied case, is strongly measured by basic subjective difficulties, linked to the constitution processes of self, which probably affects the psychological child´s care. Such discovery indicates it is possible that the childhood obesity is a symptomatic expression of family complex configuration, from a transgenerational nature

Este trabalho tem como objetivos compreender as dinâmicas da representação literária na literatura infantil e juvenil frente às demandas educacionais presentes na Lei 10.639, e identificar possíveis diferenças quanto à natureza da representação entre obras tematizadas no contexto dessa lei e obras não tematizadas, mas que abordam as questões afro-brasileiras no âmbito de sua complexidade estética. Para tanto, será apresentado um estudo comparativo entre duas obras que foram construídas no contexto da Lei e uma obra que não tematiza as questões afrobrasileiras, todas elas compõem o acervo do PNBE. As dinâmicas da autoria, as características do discurso utilitário e o contexto educacional são elementos estudados e constituem ferramentas importantes para as discussões. São analisadas as obras O Cabelo de Lelê, de Valéria Belém; Obax, de André Neves e Raul da Ferrugem Azul, de Ana Maria Machado. Para esse estudo, foi proposta uma perspectiva interdisciplinar conforme os princípios da Literatura Comparada. Diante deles, a interação entre textos literários, por procedimentos comparatistas de análise, articulada às outras áreas do saber, possibilita o estudo mais amplo da obra como manifestação estética posicionada historicamente. Ao final, são apresentadas considerações a respeito da necessidade de mudança nas relações entre a literatura infantil e juvenil e as questões educacionais. / This study aims to understand the dynamics of literary representation in child and youth across the educational demands present in literature Law 10.639, and to identify possible differences in the nature of the representation of themed works in the context of this law and works not presented, but that approach african-Brazilian issues within their aesthetic complexity. Thus, a comparative study between two works that were constructed in the context of law and a work that does not thematize the african-Brazilian issues, all of which make up the collection of PNBE will be presented. The dynamics of authorship, the characteristics of the utility discourse and educational context elements are studied and are important tools for discussions. The Hair of the works Lelê are analyzed, Valeria Bethlehem; Obax, André Neves and Ralph Rust Blue, Ana Maria Machado. For this study, we proposed an interdisciplinary perspective as the principles of Comparative Literature. Before them, the interplay between literary texts, for comparatists analysis procedures, and combined with other disciplines, provides the most comprehensive study of the work as historically positioned aesthetic manifestation. Finally, considerations are made about the need for change in the relationship between the child and adolescent literature and educational issues.

This diploma thesis focuses on creating an art series on a theme of garden for primary school children. The thesis has got a theoretical and a practical part. In theoretical part, it focuses on the history of garden art and theme of garden in genre and intermedia production. The following chapter combines the theme of the garden with the use of curriculum documents. The next part takes the garden as a motive and medium for art education at primary school. The next chapter deals with the method of project teaching and use of art series in the art education. In practical part, this thesis focuses on the creation of a thematic series, which contains organization and implementation of five lessons created on the theme of the garden. The aim of this series is to bring children closer to the enviroment of the garden through the use of art activities.

A presente tese volta-se a um estudo bibliométrico descritivo que toma como base as dissertações de mestrado geradas nos Programas de Pós-Graduação em Turismo (PPGTUR), no Brasil, e a contribuição recebida da produção científica da área, com foco na análise das temáticas e das referências bibliográficas. Desenvolveu-se um estudo da produção gerada nos PPGTUR, reconhecida e recomendada pela Capes por meio do mapeamento das dissertações de mestrado defendidas de 2008 a 2012. A coleta de dados foi feita em sites diferentes: no site da Capes - para a identificação dos PPGTUR, nos sites dos Programas e bases de dados bibliográficas - para a identificação dos mestrados e, na consulta in loco das dissertações - para a identificação das citações. A classificação temática das dissertações pautou-se nas categorias criadas na área. As referências bibliográficas listadas nas dissertações sofreram o processo de amostragem, o número de citações foi obtido a partir da estimativa da proporção populacional. Para cada referência amostrada foram identificadas as seguintes características: tipo de documento, autoria, idioma e temporalidade. Foram selecionados quatro PPGTUR (UNIVALI; UCS; UAM e UFRN), que forneceram 206 dissertações de mestrado, das quais, por sua vez, se extraiu o conjunto das citações amostradas (1.638 referências). As temáticas que se destacaram foram \"Gestão Turismo\" (18%), \"Patrimônio Turístico\" (17%) e \"Serviços Turísticos\" (15%), as demais temáticas representaram os outros 50% dos temas estudados nas dissertações de mestrado. A pesquisa mostrou que os livros e capítulos contribuíram com o maior número de citações (58%), tendo os artigos de periódicos contribuídos com apenas 15%. A maior concentração dos documentos citados tem datas de publicação de até 15 anos antes da data da defesa da dissertação; o idioma português predominou nas citações (85%) e o inglês (11%). A análise da produção acadêmica em Turismo, representada pelas dissertações de mestrado dos PPGTUR, contribui para construção de uma visão geral da pesquisa em turismo no Brasil, com vistas à consolidação da área. / This thesis addresses a descriptive bibliometric study based on Master\'s Dissertations developed in Brazil\'s Post-Graduation Programs in Tourism (PGPTOUR), as well as on contributions from the scientific production in that area focused on the analysis of themes and bibliographic references. A study was conducted on the production developed in PGPTOUR, recognized and recommended by Capes, by means of a mapping of Master\'s Dissertations defended from 2008 to 2012. Data collection was undertaken in different sites: the site of Capes - for the identification of the PGPTOUR, Programs sites and bibliographic databases - for the identification of Masters\' and in loco consultation of those Masters\' - for the identification of citations. The thematic classification of the Masters\' was based on the categories created in the area. The bibliographic references listed in the dissertations were subjected to a sampling process and the number of citations was obtained from an estimate of the population proportion. For each reference sampled, the following characteristics were identified: kind of document, authorship, language and temporality. Four PGPTOUR were selected: UNIVALI, UCS, UAM and UFRN; they produced 206 Master\'s Dissertations from which the bulk of citations sampled was excerpted (1,638 references). The themes that stood out were \"Tourism Management\" (18%), \"Touristic Heritage\" (17%) and \"Touristic Services\" (15%); the remaining themes stood for the other 50% themes studied in Masters\' dissertations. The research showed that books and chapters contributed the most citations (58%) while articles in periodicals contributed only 15%. The largest concentration of documents quoted have publishing dates up to 15 years prior to the defense of the Master\'s Dissertations. In citations, Portuguese was the most used language (85%) while English was used in only 11% of them. The analysis of the academic production in Tourism, represented by Master\'s dissertations developed in PGTOUR, contributes to the building of an overview of research in Tourism in Brazil for the purpose of consolidation of the area.

O tema da razia de gado (boēlasía) na épica homérica / The cattle-raid (boēlasía) theme in the homeric epics

O tema da razia de gado (boēlasía) é uma constante nos textos conservados da tradição épica grega arcaica, nos quais figura na forma de narrativas breves ou de referências alusivas. Apesar disso, pouco se escreveu acerca desse tema, e os poucos estudos realizados se concentraram apenas na consideração da recorrência boēlasía como um reflexo da importância do gado na economia da honra típica dos poemas homéricos ou na sua explicação como um derivado de estruturas míticas herdadas do protoindo-europeu. É justamente essa lacuna que esta tese se propõe a atacar, por meio da recolha e cotejo de parte das narrativas e referências homéricas a essa atividade e do seu exame a partir dos referenciais teóricos e metodológicos oriundos da crítica oralista do épos arcaico, particularmente os métodos de análise temática que partem da recepção dos poemas. / The cattle-raid (boēlasía) theme is a constant in the preserved texts of the tradition of Greek archaic epic, wherein it appears either in the form of brief narratives or of allusive references. Nonetheless, little has been written about this theme, and the few studies there are have focused only in the consideration of the recurrence of the boēlasía as a reflex of the importance of cattle in the honour economy typical of the homeric poems or in its explanation as a derivation of mythical structures inherited from the proto-indoeuropeans. This dissertation aims precisely at such blind spot, recovering and comparing part of the homerical references to this activity and examinig them via theoretical and methodological insights originated in the oralist critical tradition of the archaic épos, particularly those theme-based analytical methods that take into consideration the reception of the poems.

Thématique persécutrice et narcissisme chez des patients du cancer au Cameroun / Theme of persecution and narcissism at cancer patients in Cameroon

Plusieurs patients du cancer au Cameroun pensent que leur état résulte d’une attaque de sorcellerie. Les auteurs en contexte africain attribuent cette thématique persécutrice au caractère collectiviste de la société qui fait de l’individu, en cas de maladie, la scène d’expression d’un conflit interpersonnel et communautaire. Nous tentons de montrer qu’au-delà de cet enjeu groupal, le vécu de persécution et son expression remplissent une fonction narcissique au niveau individuel. Le thème de la persécution chez la plupart de ces patients constitue un déni de la maladie, un moyen d’inhibition de l’angoisse de mort afférent à celle-ci, une expression du sentiment de toute puissance et d’immortalité caractéristique du narcissisme. Ainsi, il s’accompagne d’une hypertrophie du moi du sujet, lequel se croît envié par une personne de la génération parentale dans une lutte œdipienne mais parfois aussi de la même génération. Il s’agirait en réalité d’une forte réaction au vécu de catastrophe narcissique suscitée par le cancer.Le vécu et l’expression du thème de la persécution est aussi la recherche d’une protection contre la détresse liée au cancer par une fuite dans l’imaginaire observée chez les malades parfois même en milieu occidental. Ce qui favorise une richesse imaginaire en contradiction avec l’idée de démentalisation des malades somatiques soutenue par l’école psychosomatique de Paris notamment. Mais les patients sont débordés par cet imaginaire, ce qui leur ôte l’aptitude de l’élaboration mentale, et ne débouche pas sur une mentalisation et une symbolisation langagière. Par ailleurs, le vécu et l’expression du thème de la persécution s’est révélé être un moyen d’affirmation subjective pour des sujets aux prises avec des alliances narcissiques aliénantes. / Several cancer patients in Cameroon think that their sickness is the outcome of a witchcraft attack. Authors in the African context ascribe the theme of persecution to the collectivist character of the society that make the individual, in case of illness, the scene of expression of an interpersonal and community conflict. We try to show that beyond that goupal stakes, the experience and the feeling of persecution fulfils a narcissistic function at the individual level. The theme of persecution among most of these patients is a denial of the sickness, a mean of inhibition of anguish of death related to it, an expression of the feeling of omnipotence and immortality proper to narcissism. Thus, it is accompanied of an ego hypertrophy, which believes to be envied by a person of the parental generation in an Oedipian fight, but at times also with somebody of the same generation. It would be in reality a strong reaction to an experience of catastrophe provoked by cancer. The feeling and expression of the theme of persecution is also a search for a protection against the distress related to cancer by a escape in the imaginary observed among the patients even in the western milieu. This favors an imaginary affluence in contradiction with the idea of deficit of mentalising of somatic patients supported by Ecole psychosomatique de Paris. But these patients are overwhelmed by this imaginary richness, and this deprives them from the mental elaboration ability, and doesn’t lead to a mentalising and language symbolization. Moreover, the feeling and expression of the theme of persecution is also a mean of subjective affirmation for subjects confronted to alienating narcissistic alliances.
