Model inteligentnog tutorskog sistema za unapređenje informatičkih kompetencija studenata / A Model of the intelligent tutoring system for upgrading the students’ ICT competencies

Jotanović Gordana 27 September 2016 (has links)
U sistemu su razvijeni moduli za procjenu znanja studenta, isporuku nastavnih sadržaja, unapređenja kompetencija i automatsku sintezu IF...THEN pravila. Procjena znanja vr&scaron;i se pomoću Mamdani fazi inferentnog metoda. Automatska sinteza IF...THEN pravila bazirana je na Teoriji grubih skupova. Eksperimentalno testiranje rada sistema izvr&scaron;eno je na Java programskom jeziku.</p> / <p>The present dissertation deals with the issue of upgrading the students&rsquo; ICT competencies. The fundamental function of the system is aimed at personalization of educational contents in accordance with the student&rsquo;s current level of knowledge. On the basis of this, a model of the intelligent tutoring system that consists of basic functional components &ndash; the Tutor model, the Student model and a deduction mechanism &ndash; has been designed. Within this system the modules for assessing students&rsquo; knowledge, delivery of educational contents, competence upgrading and automatic synthesis of IF ... THEN rules have been developed. The knowledge assessment is carried out by means of a Mamdani&rsquo;s fuzzy inference method. The mechanism for educational content delivery operates on the principle of an Alpha algorithm. The automatic synthesis of IF ... THEN rules is based on a rough set theory. The upgrading of the competencies is performed by moving to the right the parameters of a membership function which represents the student&#39;s competence. Experimental testing of the system was carried out using the Java programming language.</p>

Zimmerman Nilsson, Marie-Helene January 2009 (has links)
The way in which music teachers choose and use the subject content in ensemble and music theory in the upper secondary school is focused in this study. The point of interest is the everyday classroom teaching of music teachers. The intentions that music teachers have with their teaching is also studied. This thesis is a study of music teaching and is a subject-didactic investigation, inspired by variation theory. The overarching aim of the thesis is to study how music teachers in upper secondary school choose teaching content when teaching ensemble and music theory. The teachers’ use of the teaching content implies that they choose to focus and teach certain parts in their teaching. This choice of con- tent and how it is used is in focus in this study. The research questions are: How do music teachers choose teaching content when teaching ensemble and music theory in upper secondary school? How do music teachers use the teaching con- tent in their teaching? The data collection includes video-documented lessons and qualitative inter- views with five music teachers in upper secondary school in 2004. The analysis reveals two different choices of content. When the teachers have music and theory as the content of their teaching, it is the content that guides the teaching methods, where the teacher uses a fixed content, which is then presented in different ways; this was mainly in music theory. When the content is music activities, the music teachers adjust the activity-based content in accordance with the level of the pupils’ skills in ensemble. The differences that occur in the varia- tion theory results are closely related to the teaching content. The foundations of the two different choices of content that are made by the music teachers, as well as the significance of the learning objects, are finally discussed.

Os conteúdos de ensino prescritos nas disciplinas integradoras de alguns cursos de licenciatura em química / The teaching contents prescribed in the integrative disciplines of some Chemistry Teachers\' Education courses

Janaína Farias de Ornellas 27 September 2016 (has links)
The aim of this work is investigate the syllabus of integrative disciplines of some classroom courses of Chemistry Teachers\' Education at Brazilian Institutions of higher education (IHE). These disciplines are called so because they integrate chemistry specific content with pedagogical content. In this way, our research focuses on mapping the content that is considered to form teachers from what is prescribed in the curriculum of some Chemistry Teachers\' Education courses. In order to achieve this goal we have developed a qualitative approach research in the official documents that include: the syllabus of integrative disciplines, the Political Pedagogical Project and even some curricular matrices presenting information on subjects of interest. These documents were obtained through a survey of higher education institutions in each region of the country that offer more classroom courses on Chemistry Teachers\' Education. Our theoretical framework is based on the ideas of Michael Young as we understand that while mapping the chemistry teaching contents on the official documents we are identifying the powerful knowledge that IHEs consider to train chemistry teachers. For this, we opted for the inductive content analysis perspective in which the data is the starting point to build categories. As support for data organization we used the ATLAS.ti software that, through interpretation allowed us to organize and create a system of categories. Altogether, we obtained 38 contents which were grouped semantically resulting in seven families: The nature of science, teaching as profession, instructional strategies, teaching resources, curriculum, function of teaching, and learning theories and approaches. Each family group has a certain set of subcategories that are our contents extracted from the analyzed documents. We can say that the subjects investigated indicate that the most prescribed contents are related to the family instructional strategies with emphasis on content organization / management and related to the family curriculum with emphasis on official documents contents. However, the mapped content on integrative disciplines in this work cannot be called powerful knowledge for Chemistry teachers; they do not turn to didactis of Chemistry itself but specify content focused on general didactics. Although they are considered integrative disciplines realize that their syllabus leave in the background the issue of Chemistry content facing the k-12 school and thus hinder the work of the former teacher who acts in these disciplines. We believe that these results can contribute to a necessary reflection on the improvement of the Chemistry Teachers Education curriculum, in particular as regards the sillabus of the integrative disciplines

To choose what and when : groupinterviews on choices of content in ensemble in upper secondary school

Asp, Karl January 2011 (has links)
This study investigates how teachers of the subject ensemble in Swedish upper secondary school talk about their choices of subject content in light of their background as musicians and/or music teachers? According to current regulations and curricula (Läroplan för de frivilliga skolformerna, Lpf 94; Programmål för Estetiska programmet, ES 2000:05) the Swedish upper secondary school system can be described as goal-centered, which implies that the goals of the education are in focus and that methods and material to achieve those goals can show great variances. The aim of this study is to investigate how music teacher talk about their choices of content in relation to several background factors like music teacher education and experience and their experience as professional performers. Research questions are: * How do musicteachers talk in groupinterviews regarding choices of content in ensemble in upper secondary school? * What do musicteachers perceive as essential contents in music teaching in the subject ensemble? The conceptual framework in this study is inspired by Berger and Luckmann’s (1966/1979) theories of the construction of reality. This means that a non-essentialist approach is taken and that subject matter, content and curricula all are understood as constructs in relation to a context, historically and cultural specific (Burr, 2003). This explains the focus on the interviewees professional backgrounds in relation to choice of content. Furthermore it relies on discourse psychology (Potter &amp; Wetherell, 1987) where interpretative repertoires is used as an analytical tool. By focus group-interviews (Wibeck, 2000; Morgan, 1998) data has been collected and then analyzed. The interviewees are both professional musicians and music teachers, and they are all working as music teachers in upper secondary schools. The results of the study indicates that the teachers’ talk about choices of content is constructed mainly through their experiences of performing and professional musicianship and that didactical constructions highly relies on those experiences. This means that music as a subject (cf. Nielsen, 1998) is often seen as a product, as in a concert or a recording, and that the music teachers’ professional experiences of making music is an important ground for accomplishing that task. This raises further questions about how music teaching should be carried out and what implications the focus on a product has on musical learning from a democratic as well as a pedagogical perspective.

“Students are holistic beings after all that exist outside the classroom” : A qualitative study of music theory teachers' view of their own teaching in Swedish kulturskola.

Blom, Emanuel January 2023 (has links)
The purpose of this study is to investigate how music theory teachers relate to lesson content, student influence and feedback in a non-curriculum school format. The study is based on a sociocultural perspective with a focus on knowledge trading between people. The data collection is done through semi-structured interviews which are then processed through thematic analysis. In the results section of the work, the teachers' thoughts on the subject of music theory and how they work with lesson content and student influence are presented. It appears that all teachers work a lot with practical exercises which are also linked to the students' current repertoire. Furthermore, it appears that all three teachers use creative tasks to put theory into practice. In the discussion, an argument is made as to whether the teachers carry values and ideas from their own course of study at the Swedish kulturskola to the music college, in order to then bring these back to the kulturskola again as qualified teachers. The discussion also shows that music theory (as a school subject) is changing in that there is not only an increase in student influence, but also the content is increasingly moving from a genre-wise, classical content to a student-related content where the students have to work with the music they themselves play, or are interested in.

Petersson, Maria January 2012 (has links)
Biological evolution is part of the syllabi for Biology and Science in Swedish upper secondary school. In the syllabi, evolution is not only presented as a topic in Biology courses, but is also regarded as a unifying theme. The teacher has a fundamental role in deciding how the national curriculum is translated into the educational situation. This thesis investigates teachers’ accounts of their teaching of evolution in Swedish upper secondary school, describing their understandings of the purpose of teaching and learning evolution as part of biology education. The thesis is based on interviews of teachers teaching the course Biology A, which is compulsory as dictated by the Natural Science Program. The interviews were supplemented with questionnaires. The interviews were orientated towards questions about selection of course content and the reasons for choosing this content. The interviews were focused on teachers experiences based on their own practice. Two aspects of content were examined: (1) the scientific content taught in terms of themes and (2) the socializing value-laden aspects, such as priorities taken by the teachers and the teachers´ overarching aims.   The results showed that teachers described different teaching contents with regard to values, even when the core content of themes was similar. Four different selective traditions for choosing content were identified among teachers. The results are discussed in relation to the context and conditions that the teachers identify as influential on the content chosen. Teachers’ interactions with their students as well as their world views are important for their selection and adjustment of content. There are also indications that teachers’ personal views about purposes are important for selecting the teaching content.

Undervisningsmetoder inom läsförståelse i teori och praktik. : Sex lärares uppfattningar och konkreta arbete gällande undervisningen inom läsförståelse i årskurs 1-3.

Stålhandske, Johanna January 2016 (has links)
<p>Svenska</p>
