No. of bitstreams: 1 Letícia Ferreira Frigo.pdf: 1475126 bytes, checksum: a0366034bcf56a5b72fe550bfe772a50 (MD5) Previous issue date: 2017-09-06 / Conselho Nacional de Pesquisa e Desenvolvimento Científico e Tecnológico - CNPq / The present research deals with the use of digital technologies in the classroom as an auxiliary resource in the teaching-learning process, aiming at the individual and / or collective cognitive extension of subjects guided by interactivity and the adoption of collaborative learning practices: hybrid teaching and connectivism. The corpus of this research is anchored in the use of these technologies in the construction of the student's autonomy, making him the co-author of his learning, from the information search process to the content transformation, through filtering and data selection. Within this link, the following questions are raised: [1] Are the procedures, which presuppose interactive bilaterality, adopted by the practice of hybrid teaching, and establishe the use of such technologies in the classroom, to be applicable? [2] Do connectivist practices that seek to expand content circulating on the web through data sharing really form networks of interests in which the subjects involved exchange discoveries? [3] What are the reasons why many schools and teachers reject technological immersion in school, discouraging and / or prohibiting the use of such equipment in schools? The hypotheses drawn during this research point to the need to define how these processes become possible; and to this end, the topics addressed to digital learning highlight some of these practices, such as the search for information, through rhizomatic navigation and hypertextual and / or hypermedia reading, and the development of self-learning practices. The research highlights the role of the teacher in face of this new panorama and his current attributions regarding the methodologies for the insertion of the subjects in the cyberspace. The objective of this work is justified in the use of digital equipment as auxiliary tools to promote the cognitive expansion of subjects and to increase collective intelligence through playful and transformative practices. The result of the research, noting these two intellectual effects through the use of these technologies and the large-scale exclusion of society, which is on the margins of this process, advocates the need to include more subjects in these innovations and democratize the use of digital technologies as way to reduce social differences generated by educational discrepancies in our society. Research indicates that matching the learning opportunities will reduce the social gulf among the students; Therefore, the adoption of collaborative practices with the use of digital technologies promotes inclusion in the learning spheres, potentially improving their socioeconomic conditions / A presente pesquisa versa sobre o uso das tecnologias digitais em sala de aula como recurso auxiliar no processo de ensino-aprendizagem, visando à ampliação cognitiva individual e/ou coletiva dos sujeitos pautada pela interatividade e pela adoção de práticas colaborativas de aprendizagem: ensino híbrido e conectivismo.

This research aims to investigate aspects around the public image of Mathematics (PIM) in a setting in which pre-service Mathematics teachers were engaged in the production of digital mathematical performance (DMP), in other words, to investigate the educational role of Arts and technologies regarding Mathematics visions around pre-service Mathematics teachers. Research question was: how does occur the process of construction of Mathematics images in a setting in which pre-service Mathematics teachers produce DMP? DMP refers to the use of Arts and digital technologies (DT) in Mathematics Education, conceived as a research line, a didactical and pedagogical approach or as an artistic mathematics multimodal narrative. Methodologically, this research is qualitative, using Arts-Based Research to communicate itself through poems. Data were produced in a course at Sao Paulo State University “Júlio de Mesquita Filho” (UNESP) in which pre-service Mathematics teachers produced seven DMPs, which were seven Harlem Shakes, one music and one video clip. Mathematics ideas communicated were Four Color Theorem and a Geometrical Convergent Series. Methodological proceedings were field notes, DMPs, classes’ film recordings and semi structured interviews and questionnaires. Theoretical framework in respect of the Mathematics images constructed in this setting, besides artistic and technological aspects in Mathematics Education composed the description and analyses of data. The findings are related to the construction of Mathematics as flexible, in other words, admitting human influence, as well as creative, being colorful, live and active. Besides, we can stress the formation of thinking collectives of teachers-with-Arts-and-digital-technologies throughout this research data. We can also point out to DMP as a pedagogical and didactical possibility in which students can be active throughout teaching and learning process. This research contributes to the production of knowledge in regard of artistic and technological innovation on Mathematics Education. / CNPq: 130448/2015-0

No. of bitstreams: 1 PDF - Celina José Freitas.pdf: 8569549 bytes, checksum: 68a432b55d07313c2e58fb6dd3453a0a (MD5) Previous issue date: 2015-04-24 / The schools, jointly the digital immigrants-those with little experience of technology (mostly teachers) - and digital natives-those who have knowledge of technology (the students) -, two groups with different ways of thinking, learning and acting. These differences are incorporate into the fear of the new and the lack of trainings for the teachers to face this generation of students for whom they have to teach. The problems are compound when the contents are the exact area, as is the case in disciplines such as mathematics, among others, and in schools with poor infrastructure. What to do? This questions that came in as a citizen of Timor-Leste, a teacher and a graduate student of the Master in Teaching Science and Mathematics of UEPB. In search for the answers, we decided for this research, which goal is to analyse the perception of teachers and students of basic education in Baucau/Timor- Leste. We seek theoretical support from authors such as Tardif (2011), D'Ambrosio (1996, 1999), Moita (2007), Nóvoa (2001), Moran (2013), Fiorentini (2003), Bicudo (2005) and Papert (2008), among others. This research was conduct in two schools in Timor-Leste, with the Subjects of Research, 10 mathematics teachers of the third cycle, divided into two groups: GTP-working groups of teachers and in two (public and private) elementary schools. In total, 50 students participated in the survey, members of the two referenced schools, along with two principals of both schools. Data collection was through observation of classes, standardized questionnaires and semi-structured interviews. This research is therefore qualitative, exploratory and descriptive. The results indicate that despite a number of courses observed teachers presented in everyday traditional methods. However, during the short course participants revealed they would like to use the software, especially in mathematics teaching and think again new line in the future because they believe that their lessons can be facilitate with the use of educational technologies. As the final product of this research we developed an e-book entitled " Learning by doing with Geogebra software " recorded on CD which includes teaching guide in Portuguese, with math curricula developed using Geogebra software, duly accompanied by a tutorial for the use of Mathematics’ teachers.

Robson de Andrade Gonçalves 10 October 2016 (has links)
From the basis of documentation and oral history resources this research proposes a documentary method for performing arts street. Five artists working in the city of São Paulo were selected to document their memories about street art theme, and had their artistic performance recorded in audiovisual format. The method consists of three qualitative steps capture and documentary treatment using digital technology, namely the recorded pre-audio interview, the record of action in place of artists in the street and finally an interview scripted by the previous steps recorded in video in a studio. The theoretical framework is based on Ecléa Bosi memory studies and the concept of Cultural Hybridization Néstor García Canclini. We conclude the importance of memory of artists to the history of cities, but also found the conceptual challenges and faced practical when considering the documentation of street performers in contemporary times.

This research aims at investigating how the teacher perceives the student producing mathematical knowledge with technology. The data of the research comes from a continuous education group of mathematic teachers from state public schools in Guaratinguetá, a city in São Paulo state. / The study on participation is a classic theme of Political Science. Digital technologies have enabled new forms of participation, promoting profound changes in the costs and time required for political engagement. Therefore, the investigation of the determinants of web participation has been gaining more and more relevance. In the field of electoral participation, however, Brazilian literature has been dedicated mainly to the examination of mechanisms for using Internet tools through on-line campaigns, especially to the degree of adhesion of candidates and parties to these technologies, as well as to the analysis of content published on digital social media platforms stemming from voter interaction with fanpages of politicians. In turn, this work is an unprecedented contribution, investigating through a household opinion survey the determinants of on-line and off-line electoral participation for the first time in Brazil, based on a sample of Salvador electorate. Their research is guided by three main objectives: 1) To examine the use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs), particularly digital platforms of social media (Facebook, WhatsApp, Instagram, YouTube and Twitter), in the process of civic engagement and political participation during the Brazilian presidential elections of 2014; 2) To measure the impact of sociodemographic variables (gender, age, education and family income), political attitudes (civic participation, political interest and party preference), Internet use (frequency of access and digital platforms) and media consumption (TV, journals, magazines, radio etc.) in the on-line and off-line political participation of the electorate, in addition to the impact of one form of participation on another; 3) To define the profile of the participants and nonparticipants, establishing comparisons between the patterns and levels of participation and prove, from empirical data and multivariate statistical analyzes, whether on-line participation attracts new actors or reinforces the participation of traditional activists. According to main results: 1) The Internet tools reinforced the participation of the most active voters in face-to-face campaign activities and mobilized inactive voters for on-line participation; 2) There is no indication that Internet tools can solve the classical dilemmas of representativeness of participation, such as underrepresentation of the poor in electoral campaigns; 3) There is also no evidence that web participation only reinforces on-site participation, as skeptics say; 4) The use of digital platforms of social media was determinant for the participation on-line and off-line; 5) The level of higher education was a predictor of web participation; 6) Political interest was a predictor of moderate/high on-line participation, but not low participation.

Disserta??o (Mestrado Profissional) ? Programa de P?s-Gradua??o em Ci?ncias Humanas, Universidade Federal dos Vales do Jequitinhonha e Mucuri, [2016]. / Considering the presence and the performance of a group of Higher Education Institutions in the northern region of Minas Gerais, the proposal of this research was to investigate the curricular contribution made available to the undergraduate students of these institutions, aiming at bringing their formations closer to the particularities involved in the use of Information and Communication Digital Technologies (ICDT) in pedagogical actions. Having as sample the town of Montes Claros, we proceeded to a cut of a social and cultural problematization, which is the relation between the teaching-learning processes and the technologies. The objective was to find out which and how many undergraduate courses and in which institution there are any discipline, which makes reference to the use of technologies in educational process, in order to enable the graduates to use ICDT. The institutions of higher education of the region investigated are: Universidade Estadual de Montes Claros-UNIMONTES, Instituto Superior de Educa??o Ibituruna-ISEIB e Faculdades de Ci?ncias Gerenciais e Empreendedorismo-FACIGE, Funda??o Presidente Ant?nio Carlos- FUPAC, Faculdades Integradas Pit?goras- FIP, Faculdades Prisma e Universidade Norte do Paran?-UNOPAR (Distance Educationmodality). The relation with the university frequently is reflected in basic education. This proposal of work becomes possible and necessary in the modern society, in which occurs a transition of paradigms, in several extents, also embracing the education and consequently the individuals' habits. The methodology used in the accomplishment of this work is qualitative, making possible a critical glance on the subject. For that, it was made a bibliographical research and a literature revision in which it was sought to contextualize teachers? formation with the new times called of ?modern?, as well as with the changes happened in the individuals' life in the modernity. Documentary research was also carried out, with documents from the Ministry of Education (MEC), guidelines for undergraduate courses in the country, and curricular structures and syllabuses for undergraduate, university and collegiate courses mentioned above. The research verified that, of the thirty undergraduate courses investigated, in the six higher education institutions, only eighteen courses have the theoretical disciplines andor practices, with views to insert the use of ICDT in the daily educational. This result corresponds to 60% (sixty percent) of the analyzed courses, what indicates a need of a better adaptation among the formation presented by the degrees, the orientations of MEC and the educational practice.
