Primeiro, fazemos a caracterização dos subcorpos do p-ésimo corpo ciclotômico e dos elementos do ideal, também calculamos a norma desse ideal. Em seguida, é apresentada uma forma quadrática e explicitado o seu mínimo para o cálculo do raio de empacotamento dessa representação geométrica. Finalizamos com o cálculo da densidade de centro. / Abstract: The main aim of this work is to calculate density of the center from the geometric representation of the totally ramified ideal in prime conductor fields. First of all, we make the characterization of the elements from subfields of the p-th cyclotomic field and from the ideal of the elements, we also calculate the norm of this ideal. Motivated to a game seemingly naive, Bulgarian Solitaire, we study dynamics in finite sets. Due to the finiteness of the domain,all points of the sys-tem converge to a periodic orbit, but it is interesting to know how many distinct orbits the system displays depending on the size of the domain. Da primeira forma, utilizando a teoria algébrica dos números clássica vimos como calcular o discriminante dos corpos quadráticos e corpos ciclotômicos. Através desta teoria é possível calcular o discriminante somente desses corpos com um árduo trabalho. Da segunda maneira utilizando os caracteres de Dirichlet e seus condutores vimos o cálculo do discriminante para qualquer corpo abeliano de uma maneira não muito trabalhosa. Finalmente, utilizando esses resultados damos aplicações sobre reticulados algébricos. / The aim of this work is to make a parallel between two forms of computing discriminants of fields of numbers. In the first form, by classic algebraic number theory we computed the discriminant of quadratics fields and ciclotomic fields. Through of this theory, is possible to computing the discriminant alone of this fields with a arduous work. In the second form using Dirichlet's character and their conductors we computed the discriminant of any abelian field of a form not very hard. Finally, using this results we give applications on algebraic lattices.

Finaliza-se com a ideia do protocolo de criptografia RSA, a construção de um sistema de correios eletrônico, cuja essência é o método para estabelecer uma criptografia de chave pública RSA, baseada no conceito apresentado por Diffie e Hellman / This dissertation presents Cryptography, which is studied since the ancient times and whose techniques consist basically of mathematical concepts. The integers play an important role on the Public Key Cryptography RSA, for which are presented some important results and properties of this set, emphasizing its relations with prime numbers, Euler’s totient function and the modulo operation, also known as the problem of discrete logarithm. We present the foundations of the Public Key Cryptography RSA, whose basis is the asymmetric cipher, showing the privacy security of the messages. It ends with the idea of the RSA cryptography protocol, a construction of an electronic mail system, whose gist lies in the method used to establish a Public Key Criptography system RSA, based on the concept presented by Diffie and Hellman

Também identificamos os elementos de Γ 12 com os elementos da ordem O associada a uma álgebra dos quatérnios A. / In this work, we study the Fuchsian Group Γ 8g-4 related to the family of hyperbo- lic tessellations {8g-4, 4} which is a discrete subgroup of PSL(2, R), where g >= 2 represents the genus. This tessellation presents interesting geometric properties, and the results linked to this theory produce applications in coding theory. Our intention is to find the generators of the group Γ 8g-4 for the case where g = 2. We also aim to identify the elements of Γ 12 with the elements of order O associated with an quaternion algebra of A.

Esta investigação foi realizada a partir do acompanhamento da utilização do Material numa sala de aula, cujos alunos eram professores de Matemática. A análise foi conduzida em dois momentos. Um deles denominado Apresentação/Comentário, que situou os dados do Diário de Campo ao centro, e, o outro, que traz essas possibilidades da análise de Entrevistas. A literatura mostra que a forma como o conjunto dos números reais tem sido apresentada aos futuros professores furta a oportunidade de que noções e conceitos inerentes ao mesmo sejam discutidos. Introduzir os números reais via medição, oportuniza que noções e conceitos intrínsecos ao número real possam ser explorados, em particular, conceitos básicos da Análise, como convergência, continuidade, completude, etc., e mesmo que indiretamente àqueles relacionados a outros campos da Matemática como a Álgebra, a Geometria e a História da Matemática. / Understanding the Material A treatment, via measurement for the real numbers as an alternative to deal with the real numbers in teacher education courses, we looked for the possibilities the Material presents when introducing the real numbers from a process of measuring segments. This investigation was done through the observation of using the Material in a classroom, whose students were Mathematics teachers. The analysis was conducted in two moments. One of them denominated Presentation/Comment, sited the data of the Camp Diary to the center, and, the other one that brought these possibilities of the analysis of the Interviews. The literature shows that the way how the set of the real numbers has been presented to the future teachers steals the opportunity for notions and concepts inherent to this set to be discussed. Introducing the real numbers via measurement, gives the opportunity that notions and intrinsic concepts to the real number can be explored, in particular, basic concepts of Analysis as convergence, continuity, completion, etc; and even indirectly those related to other branches of Mathematics as Algebra, Geometry and History of Mathematics.
