The analysis of a communication vehicle specialized in the theme of social responsibility is intended for the definition of characteristics which support the elaboration of a discourse whose relevance and dissemination in our society has been constantly increasing, thus contributing for the understanding of this phenomenon. Bearing in mind the transformation scenery in which the capitalism finds itself in post-modernity, this research will investigate how the re-signification process of the role of the private company for a new inclusion in the political agenda of discussion occurs. This research will be developed with the theoretical basis of the French Discourse Analysis (AD) formulation, making use of its concepts and implements for a study of the corporative social responsibility placed in an amplified social-historical scene.(AU) / O tema desta pesquisa é a formação do discurso da responsabilidade social empresarial por meio da revista especializada publicada pelo Conselho Empresarial Brasileiro para o Desenvolvimento Sustentável (CEBDS), a Brasil Sustentável.

Ecrire, danser : prendre corps et langue : étude pour une 'dansité' de l'écriture poétique / Writing, dancing : gathering body : study for a "dansité" of poetry

Godfroy, Alice 27 April 2013 (has links)
This study meets poets who don’t properly write about dance. Immersing ourselves in the works of Henri Michaux, Paul Celan, André du Bouchet and Bernard Noël, we try to perceive beneath the thematic silence of dance, the quest for a more elementary form of convergence. This quest is also a confluence out of which expressive gestures are born, before words are formulated; soulful movements which invite dancers and poets to enjoy a common experience of the inner body, its infra-motile stirrings, its inchoate motion. This gives rise to a new comparatist horizon, paving the way for a different experience of reading poetry. For a poem indeed does not dance, but is supported by a certain « dansité » -dancity-, which alludes to the corporeal movement underlying the poem and which appeals to the reader's own motricity. Following this trajectory at the limbo and origin before movement happens, transports us to the root origin of every act of creation, and enables us to envision a poetics for the arts, one which would have the choreographic experience at its core.

From these works, was discussed how the artist turned his production beyond the pictorial medium at different times in his career, who presided over the thrust axis of its operations in the Brazilian avant-garde, from the pure visual experience by the public, or even constituted by his participation. There was thus a reflection on the character expanded in the artist s work since the beginning of his career, in the 1960s to the present of his creative process.

A improvisação como um elemento transformador da função do coreógrafo na dança / The improvisation as a transformative element of the choreographer function in dance

No. of bitstreams: 1 119466.pdf: 267238 bytes, checksum: 5358a99cd828b7a71fe574cce08fec11 (MD5) Previous issue date: 2014-08-21 / Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior / The thesis discusses improvisation as a transformative element of the choreographer function, in dance, that reflects on collaborative processes of creation, which implies the participation of everyone involved in the work of composition, and from their artistic skills have a legitimate space for creation. The research develops a theoretical trajectory that crosses different areas, from the philosophy to the study in dance to illustrate and understand the improvisation role on the individual formation, and locate him in the experience space. Thus, it is possible to refer to the theory of "ethics of existence" and "self-care" developed by Michel Foucault, and Danielle Goldman, which suggests the improvisation practice as a practice of freedom. An analysis of the creation process is considered from multiple instances. In order to do that, this study develops a mapping of experiments and devices of procedures and collaborative processes of composition proposed by the vanguards of the 1960s, and the implications in the transformation of the concept of dance. It reflects on the improvisation phenomenon as a dance technique, as a cause of the transformation and strengthening of the collective, and its use in the creation processes with detailed analysis of the improvisation process. The concepts of language, meaning and affect are discussed to chart a course that outlines the thoughts as a choreographer, and where the dramaturgy and the meaning construction in the dance happen, in the processes one performs the choreographer function. Also, one considers in which state the dance presents and affects the imagination as a starting point for the process of invention and assembly. The aim is also to analyze the changes in the concepts of choreography, choreographer and some principles and practices pertaining to the universe composition before the panorama that is configured in the creation. Finally, in the same direction; however, with a perspective turned to the processes of two processes of assembly of Ronda Grupo, it is possible to describe parts of the proceedings of creation techniques, and the work of producing a sense, in the pieces Socorro (2008) and Lugar Nenhum (2010). Therefore, one brings for discussion the Deleuze and Guattarri s concepts of Ritornello and Fabulation as a way of questioning the creative form of improvisation and the creativity movement.

SOUZA, Luís César de 05 September 2006 (has links)

No. of bitstreams: 1 Dissertacao Luis Cesar.pdf: 541274 bytes, checksum: e814929d8181b52a770ec428a9ab913a (MD5) Previous issue date: 2006-09-05 / We proposed at this text to discuss the post-modern ideology as a result of the contradictions of the contemporaneous industrial society of capitalist production, and how the education is inserted on this context, and, mainly, to analyze the influence of this ideology at the physical education (based on a negative and critical theory of the established society). In that sense, this text is characterized by the theoretical-philosophical debate, which we resort to the bibliographic research in order to understand the reasons that lead the post-modern ideology to announce the crisis of the principles and values constructed along the modernity. With an idea of crisis, the post-modern ideology refuses the theories that intend to understand the reality since the dialectical relation between universality and particularity, besides to despise the historical questions that allow us to comprehend the development of the productive forces and the production relations at the industrial society as factual action of the man. We run over to some concepts of Marx and Marcuse that wanted to understand critically the industrial society and the capitalism of their time -, important elements to the reflection of the contemporaneous society, with the purpose of justifying that the actual society is not , but it is , at a development phase that has ancient historical bases. Based on the perspective of these authors, we returned to the history to analyze the education at the industrial society context, since the ample development of the sciences and technology, making us to distrust about the post-modern conception of the education and the curriculum. We also analyzed the relation of the physical education to the industrial society development, since the requirements to the new man, which surged with the approaches of the burgher society of capitalist production, until the contemporaneous conflicts. We verified that the influence of the post-modern ideology at the physical education is not generalized, although there is an approval about the post-structuralists announcements that it is called linguistic rotation. We presented the mistakes of these conceptions because, according to their analyses, the material base responsible for the social relations is distrusted. At last, we comprehended that we are challenged to maintain the current of the principles that intend to emancipate the situation subject of exploration and minority. To the physical education, as it is implicated on the formative process, we must to promote constantly a critic to the contradictions of the industrial society of capitalist production and of the discourses that, when they are disrespected, they constitute on an ideology. Drª. Sílvia Rosa da Silva Zanolla

The post-modern man faces the stage which he has his relation with the discourse, nevertheless, he loses references and manifestations in the disconnecting of the infinite ideological complexities and the representations of new social roles. The book explores these subject s current questions and, through the language and its perfect arrangements, intends to centralize and unify him, promising the discovery of the human centralization which is in the relation I/ you. In such a manner, the enunciators positions in the contexts, the words of place and person, the ideological and discursive formations inside the book, showing the sense s effects in the discourse, in the language and in the post-modern subject are analyzed, based in the studies of French Discourse Analysis and Cultural Identity.

Developing a Curriculum Model for Architectural Education in a Culturally Changing South Africa

Saidi, Finzi Edward 16 September 2005 (has links)
Through education, a society hopes to reproduce itself, and through architecture a society reveals it’s values, aspirations, norms, beliefs and its cultural composition in the built environment. The first democratic elections in 1994 marked the end of the apartheid era and the beginning of the definition of a new era that would represent the new aspirations of all the people of South Africa. These fairly recent changes are important for the reshaping of the architectural profession as it seeks to interpret new meanings, views and aspirations of the new South African society in the built environment. A starting point in the transformation of the architecture profession is the development of a curriculum model in schools of architecture that will ensure continuous adaptation to the changes in society. The study reviewed and categorized the contemporary curriculum models as used in the South African schools of Architecture according to an array of philosophies and principles that underlie curricula. The Thesis proposes that an eclectic approach to design of architecture curricula is ideal for the multicultural society of South Africa that seeks to balance the demands of the local and global context in its education. This study revealed that most architecture programmes retain their traditional programmes because the university is the largely the locus of learning, experiential learning is minimal as well as little flexibility as most of the learning course- modules are required modules. The Thesis proposes a curriculum model for architecture based on the Post-Modern philosophy, which can effectively accommodate the needs of a changing South Africa in the educational programmes for architects. Such a model defines with clarity the pedagogic or epistemological reasons for directing change in architecture programmes in an increasingly complex and dynamic South African society. / Thesis (PhD (Architecture))--University of Pretoria, 2006. / Architecture / unrestricted

Architecture for the emerging missional paradigm amomg faith communities in Botswana - In dialogue with Bosch

Henry, Desmond 18 October 2010 (has links)
The indispensability of the Church [in Africa] is the primary motive for the writing of this dissertation. Throughout the centuries, we have seen the Church in various contexts, and in many forms. We have borne witness to the good, bad and the ugly throughout the history of the Church. It is my belief that any constructive growth for the future success of the Church in Africa has to come from the bold recognition that if it is to succeed and fully partake in the Missio Dei, 'everything must change' (McLaren 2007). There is need for continuity and discontinuity; however, change is not negotiable!! The Church is called to be both confessional and Missional; the Church should always be forming (ecclesia simper formanda), and reforming (ecclesia simper reformanda)(van Gelder 2007). Therefore, there is a need to rediscover the essence of Jesus‟ intention for the Church; that is God‟s redeemed people, and their view of God‟s Kingdom with its various implications for an African Missiology. There is a need for Missional Churches in Africa, for dialogue, and for unity in action. In this dissertation, I will endeavour to present architecture for a Missional Ecclesiology in dialogue with Bosch; focusing on the emerging renaissance of African Missiology, and the current Pneumatological importance/ emphasis in many African Churches (otherwise known as African independent Churches- AIC). I have used the word architecture to mean overall framework emphasizing relationships between components, orientation and support as well as the innovative response to functional necessity. The focus/ niche of this dissertation will be faith communities in Botswana, because that is my current context of ministry, and there is an obvious research gap in this area of study as nothing has been researched and published in terms of an emerging Missional Ecclesiology amongst faith communities in Botswana. I will seek to collect, analyze and interpret current as well as historical data regarding Church (mission), population and emerging areas of concern for faith communities in Botswana, and, by implication, Southern Africa. / Dissertation (MA(Theol))--University of Pretoria, 2010. / Science of Religion and Missiology / unrestricted

Blijleven, Dirk 30 October 2007 (has links)
Within the Dutch society there is, in recent years, an influence from postmodernism notable. This influence of a post modern way of life has also become more and more apparent within the churches who count themselves as being part of the ‘Reformed family group of churches’ (Dutch: De Gereformeerde Gezindte). In some respects this worldview influences the way of practising the faith, or so called: spirituality. What the consequences are of these changes in spirituality, form the subject of this research. For this research a qualitative approach was chosen to study literature of post-modern origin to arrive at the research viewpoint. What are the demands from postmodernism to come to a valid form of spirituality? With this research viewpoint the work of two influential Dutch theologians, F. G. Immink and R. R. Ganzevoort is evaluated. The outcome of this comparison is connected with a personal definition of pastoral counselling formulated from a salvation-historical understanding of the bible. Immink takes his viewpoint from the philosophical idea of External Realism. God is knowable and it is possible to have and maintain a relationship with the Divine. For Immink the most important choices are: a) attention to the relational character of faith, and b) the active influence of faith in daily living, authenticity. Gansevoort’s proposition is the social-scientific theory of Social-constructionism and his Practical Theology is based on a Narrative approach. He emphasises: a) a personal influence in shaping the way of believing, b) contextual determination of faith, and c) autonomy of the human being. The inference made from the choices found in the work of Immink and Ganzevoort and the personal definition of pastoral counselling produces ideas for a model for pastoral counselling. Important features here are: <ul> <li> attention to the concept of authenticity, in the way of understanding the Bible, as well as the way the contents of the faith are communicated during counselling</li> <li>the experience of fellowship and communion, together with attention focussed on a personal approach and contribution, during pastoral counselling</li> <li>attention for pastoral workers regarding discipleship and being a spiritual guide</li></ul> Copyright 2006, University of Pretoria.

Van Tonder, Barend Jacobus 30 October 2007 (has links)
Current collective church services, where families in totality are coming together although the focus only falls on adults, do not address today’s post modern families. For this reason two tragic routes were began to be followed within the church: <ul> <ol><li>Parents with small children began to give up trying to pressure their children to attend services because they themselves realized that it was not working for them, and started to go to church without their children, while parents with teenagers allowed their teens to attend services of other churches where they felt that their needs were met. Parents who still tried to pressure their children into going to services with them, started to experience the tension surrounding that within their families as well as in themselves.</li> <li>Congregations started creating generative services where the different generations were served separately from each other, within the premise of specialized ministry on the level of each unique generation.</li> </ol></ul> The result of this was disastrous for families as well as the church in general. On the one hand family members were spiritually alienated from each other and covenant families were tore to pieces; on the other hand covenant families were alienated from their own Christian tradition and church foundation, while the role of parents as spiritual mentors of their children were minimilised. Because of this, more and more families began to plead for the addressing of their needs to be ministered to as a whole within the church service and to worship together, while covenant parents began to demand to be once again empowered as primary spiritual mentors of their children. Consequently the urgent need within the church had arisen for the implementation of family ministry, and especially family services, where families in totality can effectively be ministered to so that the needs of each family member will be met. Principles for such inter generative services, as well as sermons to post modern families within that context, is necessary to make such a cross generational ministry successful. Precisely this is the focus of this study. / Dissertation (MA (Research in Practical Theology))--University of Pretoria, 2007. / Practical Theology / MA / unrestricted
