Lennefors, Caroline January 2017 (has links)
Visit Sweden is a marketing company with the main objective to promote Sweden from a tourism perspective internationally. Visit Sweden’s main office is in Stockholm. Other than that, Visit Sweden has twelve abroad offices which focus on marketing of Sweden in the specific country. To make Visit Sweden’s marketing as efficient as possible, the focus is on marketing to the global traveller. They have also studied how Sweden is perceived internationally. This study aims to understand what the image of Sweden is communicated internationally. It highlights Visit Sweden’s way to market Sweden from a tourism perspective. The study is based on Visit Sweden’s main markets and how Visit Sweden works towards different subgroups within “the global traveller”. To further understand how the image of Sweden is internationally, I have done a survey which people from different countries have answered. The objective of questionnaire survey was to understand how people in other countries look at Sweden. The conclusion of the study; Visit Sweden has focused on a target group “the global traveler” that has the same values that exist in Sweden. Visit Sweden’s marketing is communicated out to their main countries, based on what people in the country is interested in doing on their vacation. The picture of the global traveler in Visit Sweden's main countries is therefore reflected in the person’s own interests. According, to the survey, which was based on a mix of different people in the world, it appears that Sweden has an established image as reminiscent of how it looks in the most northern part of Sweden. Both the global traveler and the people from the survey see Sweden as a country of innovation. The picture of Sweden as a country of innovation goes along with Visit Sweden’s goals to market the country. However, the general knowledge about Sweden needs to get better among potential international visitors.

A study on problem of the cross-strait marriage to veterans of Kaohsiung

Chern, Shwu-fang 16 February 2005 (has links)
Since the People in Taiwan free from the prohibition to visit their relatives or family members in the Mainland China by the government in 1987, it not just only opens up the cross-strait interaction, but also increases the opportunities for the cross-strait marriage. Although the intenseness and confrontations between the Mainland China and Taiwan lasted for several decades is eased by the interaction of marriage, however, Taiwan still faces new problems and challenges concerning new issues with influences of political atmosphere; meanwhile, the people in Taiwan still have negative images to the spouses from the Mainland China. The reports by media also create a stereotype of spouses from the Mainland China to the people in Taiwan. Nevertheless, the actual perspective is worthy of our attention. Therefore, this article is hereby to discuss the current situation of marriage between the Mainland China and Taiwan by the usage of relevant documents and referring to the immigration policies of America, Canada, Japan, and so on for being as a reference to the cross-strait provisions of our government. This study emphasizes on the cross-strait marriage of veterans, which discovered that it is easier for the spouses from the Mainland China to get used to the life style in Taiwan for the cross-strait culture was originated similarly. Although the age gap exists between the cross-strait couples, their marital life is very harmonious. Presently, the cross-strait immigration policy is affected by the considerations of national politics, economy, social settlement, and national security. And one of the regulations of cross-strait immigration policy in relation to the ¡§residence¡¨ has even stipulated that it has to provide the certificates of financial capability if the spouses want to reside in Taiwan. However, when we look through the thoughts of government for ¡§protecting the rights of the spouses from the Mainland China¡¨, we know it actually has not helped a lot to our nation, society, and the families whose members get married with the people from the Mainland China. On the contrary, we should take the policy seriously to offer the opportunities that the spouses from the Mainland China can work in Taiwan legally for they can recreate new labor force and stale the productive mechanism of domestic low-priced labor force in Taiwan. For the population results from the cross-state immigration has transformed the population structure in Taiwan stealthily, we can discover that the business of immigration has been overlapped and restricted if we evaluate the society and legal system affected by the immigration policy. So, when we work on studying what we should suggest to our government, we should set up one unified institution that possesses jurisdiction to magnify our achievements of execution and expect the cross-strait marriage can be developed normally. Secondly, when we work on planning the immigration policy due to the spouses from the Mainland China, we should look for the balance between the ¡§human rights¡¨ and ¡§legal system¡¨ for the allotment system. Last but not the least, in order to prohibit the marriage frauds from coming to Taiwan effectively, we should establish a complete management system for the introduction agencies of marriage to prevent the businessmen with bad intentions and marriage frauds from dealing in illegal behaviors.

The Analysis on Effects of Medical Quality of Carrying out the Perioperative Visit in One Southern Medical Center

Tang, Yi-chen 05 February 2009 (has links)
Objective: The goal of medical care in twenty-first century is to pursue a safe, effective, patient-centered, timely, efficient and equitable service system. The mission of medical professional providers and managers of medical institutions depends on controlling ¡§quality¡¨, i.e. medical essence and existence of medical institute. In order to raise surgical medical service quality in medical centers, the perioperative visit becomes an important index of medical quality in surgery. Therefore, this study investigated the effect of surgical medical quality in one southern medical center carried out the perioperative visit. Method: The samples were from patients undergoing surgery in one medical center. From March 1 to June 30, 2008, we conducted structural questionnaire to gather 505 cases. The contents of the perioperative visit included the visit for patients in the early stage of surgery, the care in the middle stage of surgery, and the visit for patients in the later stage of surgery. Based on the contents of the visits, this study analyzed the influence of demographic characteristics (including sex, age, surgical divisions, anesthesia, marital status, past medical history, surgical experience and blood types, etc.) on medical quality (including the decrease of anxiety, the raise of medical service satisfaction, the loyalty of returning to the original hospital and self health cognition, etc.). The collective data analyzed by descriptive statistics, One-Way ANOVA, independent-sample T test were compared the difference between the groups by Bonferroni correction. Result: The results indicated that the decrease of anxiety was not affected by sex, marital status, past medical history, surgical experience, and blood types, but was dependent on age, divisions and anesthesia. For the age group, the results of 21-40 year-old people were the most significant. For surgical divisions, the results of patients in orthopedic system were the most significant. The increase of medical service satisfaction was not affected by sex, past medical history and surgical experience, but was dependent on age, divisions, anesthesia, martial status and blood types. For the age group, the results of 21-40 year-old people had the highest satisfaction. For surgical divisions, the results of patients in orthopedic system had higher satisfaction than others. The health cognition and loyalty of returning to the original hospital was not affected by sex, age, divisions, anesthesia and past medical history, but was dependent on martial status, surgical experience and blood types. Conclusion: Therefore, the results suggested that medical institutions, professional clinical staffs and researchers should timely correct perioperative contents and make an integral care plan for medical teams to join in order to perfectly provide a personal, familial, whole and integral medical care and then to achieve the essence of medical quality.

Colm, Matilda, Eriksson, Lina January 2015 (has links)
To adopt and to be adopted can be a distressing experience of life, and support from child healthcare, social services, health care and child psychiatry may be necessary. This study is aregister study and covers 50,221 children, of which 440 are adopted, born between 1994-2007 and registered in Uppsala län. The purpose of the study is to investigate if there areany differences in the contact with child health care for adopted children compared withbiological children as regards to the number of clinic visits, number of home visits, children whoare vaccinated with MMR, referrals to pediatricians, psychologists, orthoptist and speechtherapist and if the children perform the visual-, auditory-, and language screening and theoutcome of these screenings. Logistic- and linear regression analyzes were made and some werecorrected for age. The adoptees had both significantly fewer home visits and office visits than thebiological children. There were also a lower proportion of adopted children who were vaccinatedagainst MMR. The adopted children had significantly more referrals sent to the BHVpsychologist, the orthoptist and the speech therapist. Adopted children take a lesser part inimportant childcare components than biological children. This could lead to a worse health forthis group in the long term. The healthcare need to be more equal amongst children, and to getcloser to the cause of these differences more studies is needed.

These teams are responsible for taking care of a definite number of families located in a delimited geographical area, acting in health promotion and prevention, combat to the most frequent diseases and grievances as well as health maintenance of this community. As part of this context, the nursing professional is involved in activities such as education, planning, organization and evaluation of health actions, nursing visit, among others. The nursing visit can be an excellent tool for controlling the degenerative chronic problems, such as Systemic Blood Hypertension (SBH) which is considered a great and serious public health problem. The nursing history constitutes a fundamental tool to make viable the implementation of the first phase of the nursing visit: the data collection. OBJECTIVE: To construct and validate an instrument for nursing visit to the hypertense patients cared at the Health Family Units, based on Horta´s Theory of Basic Human Needs. METHODOLOGY: It is a methodological research which was accomplished at the Family Health Units (FHU), in the town of Cabedelo PB. In regard to the population and sample, the assistant nurses and professors, who act in the FHUs, and by means of the Statement of Consent, accepted to take part in this study. The research was developed in five phases: identification of the empirical indicators of the basic human needs in hypertense individuals; organization of the nursing visit instrument for hypertense patients; development of statements concerning the diagnoses/results and nursing interventions from the clinical indicators, of the Basic Human Needs, which were identified and validated; validation of an instrument for Nursing Assistance Systematization, containing all the nursing process phases; instrument operationalization. RESULTS: A large literature review and an analysis of the hypertense patients´records, in order to identify their needs, were carried out. This was based on Horta´s proposal, resulting in the attainment of specific indicators, for hypertense individuals, which were validated by assistant nurses and professors. Afterwards, diagnoses/results statements as well as nursing interventions were developed and used in the instrument construction, and thus they were validated. After such validation, the third version of the instrument was made up and applied to hypertense patients, by the nurses at the FHUs, with the aim to verify the feasibility of its operationalization. As a result, the final version of the viable instrument to be used in hypertense individuals was obtained. FINAL COMMENTS: With the construction of the nursing visit instrument for hypertense individuals, advancement as regards the implementation of the Nursing Assistance Systematization, at the Health Basic Units, is expected to occur. Furthermore, it is assumed that this will promote a higher quality with respect to assistance and valorization of the nurse s role in the institution as well as more efficiency, autonomy and scientificity to the profession. The clients´data register will aid the nursing team and, consequently the communication will be more effective among these professionals who care for the hypertense client.

Home visit in health care: integrative review os litereture.

Bruna Michelle BelÃm Leite 16 December 2011 (has links)
Home Visit (HV) is a technology used in health care which, although it is not recent practice, is present in the entire world. Evidence-based practice is the theoretical and methodological framework adopted in this study which selected the integrative review as research method. Results found in the clinical practice of visits will be used in both primary care and nursing care. This study aims at assessing the scientific production about HV and its concept, methodology, purpose as well as situations available in both national and international literature. CINAL, PubMed, Lilacs, Scielo and Cochrane were the five databases used for the selection of articles. The sample of this review consisted of 13 articles concerning HV in primary care. Results showed that the ones who study HV are still not worried about conceptualizing it. Based on these findings it can be inferred that since HV is a technology incorporated into primary care service routine, it is unnecessary, for some authors, the conceptualization of HV. The articles have evaluated this technology and its effectiveness in health care services. It was observed a variety of population groups receiving visits, such as, infants, children, adolescents, the elderly and the ones in specific situations: women in recovery stage, pregnant women and diabetics. However, there is the predominance of visits to the elderly aged between 70 and 84. Concerning the professionals carrying out the visits, there was some variety as well, but nurses, followed by health workers, are the main conductors of such practice. Given the health-disease process, HV has been held in the care focusing on the disease, which fulfills the service temporarily, devaluing the favorable effect of family environment for actions of health promotion, prevention or diagnosis of diseases. This study aimed at providing information to improve the practice of HV in primary care as well as encouraging nurses to develop researches which have as result strong evidences related to the production of new methodologies for HV to specific groups in primary care.

The Association Between Behavior Disorders and Return Visit to the Emergency Department

Fraguada, Destiney 01 January 2019 (has links)
Presently, extensive research supporting the overcrowding of emergency departments (EDs) and behavior disorder patients presenting to EDs are prevalent. There exists a knowledge gap between specific behavior disorders diagnoses associated to repeated visits to the ED. The purpose of this quantitative study was to address whether a relationship exists between patients with psychotic and/or substance abuse disorders and the repeated ED visits within 72 hours. The Andersen Behavioral framework model and the secondary data were used in the study. The cross-sectional archival data from the 2016 National Ambulatory Medical Care Survey was analyzed by using cross-tabulation with the 2 test followed by multiple logistic regression analysis. The author found that the primary independent variables were not significant in (un)weighted multivariate results. However, the primary independent variables were statistically significant in the unweighted cross tabulation analyses, along with the covariates of homelessness, geographical region, and gender. The findings also showed a strong likelihood of return to the ED for the primary independent variables and covariates. The implications of this study with regard to social change and health care practices are providing proper outpatient resources through behavior disorder urgent care facilities, behavior disorder travel clinics, follow-up communications directly to the patients’ care managers, and creating a treatment team, which will decrease future financial effects on the healthcare system.
