Representação na mídia das candidaturas à presidência nas eleições brasileiras em 2010 e em 2014 : um recorte de gênero

Esta dissertação propõe-se a analisar a mídia impressa, enfocando as revistas Época e IstoÉ e sua cobertura sobre as eleições presidenciais de 2010 e de 2014 no Brasil, a partir de uma perspectiva de gênero. Buscou-se identificar como foram construídas as figuras políticas das candidatas Dilma Rousseff (PT), Marina Silva (PV e PSB) em relação ao candidato José Serra (PSDB) e Aécio Neves (PSDB) nesses pleitos. A hipótese levantada é que esses semanários promoveram uma representação diferenciada com base no gênero das candidatas/os à presidência da República, a partir de narrativas que reforçam a associação socialmente aceita do feminino com a esfera privada e do masculino com a esfera pública. Considerando que a política e a mídia são campos em constante interação, e que os fatos ocorridos em um terão repercussão no outro, entende-se a mídia como um ator central do jogo político contemporâneo. Em ambos os campos a participação das mulheres é assimétrica e diferenciada em relação aos homens. Deste modo, torna-se importante questionar como a mídia impressa contribui para a manutenção do cenário de baixa representação feminina na política institucional e quais narrativas são construídas sobre as mulheres que disputam importantes cargos eletivos. A abordagem dos 194 textos selecionados deu-se através do uso da técnica de análise de conteúdo e tendo como suporte a Teoria política feminista e seu debate em torno da díade esfera pública e esfera privada. A partir da análise empreendida conclui-se que em ambas as revistas investigadas a representação das candidatas Dilma e Marina foi diferenciada de seus concorrentes homens. O gênero foi um marcador importante na narrativa construída pela mídia impressa sobre as eleições presidenciais de 2010 e 2014, em que as candidatas têm seus corpos, personalidade e vida pessoal e afetiva mais exploradas nos textos jornalísticos do que seus concorrentes homens. Também foi constatada a reprodução e reforço de estereótipos socialmente associados às mulheres, bem como uma desqualificação sistemática da figura de Dilma Rousseff e uma interseção entre classe e gênero na representação de Marina Silva. / This dissertation aims to analyse print media, focusing on the magazines Época and IstoÉ and their reporting of the presidential elections of 2010 and 2014, from a gender perspective. The goal was to identify how the political figures of the candidates Dilma Rousseff (PT) and Marina Silva (PV and PSB) were constructed, in comparison to the candidates José Serra (PSDB) and Aécio Neves (PSDB) during the referred litigations. The hypothesis brought up is that these weekly publications promoted a distinct representation based on the gender of the presidency candidates, starting from the narratives that reinforce the socially accepted association of the feminine to the private sphere and the masculine to the public sphere. It was also verified the reproduction and reinforcement of stereotypes socially associated to women, as well as a systematic disqualification of Dilma Rousseff’s figure and an intersection between class and gender in the representation of Marina Silva.

The choice for these subjects was made from the comment of that the after-modern society of consumption involves its values, desires, habits, likes and necessities in a scale extremely intensified. Today, one perceives that the images that transfer health and beauty, by body and mind, take space each bigger time in this society that starts to absorb such values as standards of social ascension and personal satisfaction. Moreover, the body is changeable since the birth until the aging and the consumption society does not support the marks and signals of the time in the body. The aesthetic search for perfect, the medicine longevity and sprouting new and cures for illnesses are subjects, each time more recurrent in the weekly media, characterizing, thus, an interesting object of study. The subjects had been categorized in sub-groups, in accordance with the focus of each news article, such as aesthetic beauty and, alternative medicine, remedies, treatments and prevention of illnesses, feeding, chemical dependence, behavior and science. The analyzed period sweeps all the existence of the magazines, since end of years 1960, up to 2006. As method, we will adopt the discursive analysis, with you arrive in port of the semiotics to examine the news articles, collating the respective speakers of the magazines and identifying, also, the narrative citizens and its values, beyond the thematic and figurative construction, composing specific communicative contracts between magazine and reader. Other aspects to study are made positive or negative by each periodic one the mediating function and, the values relevance thematic in the aftermodern society of the magazines / A presente pesquisa teve por objetivo realizar a análise discursiva das reportagens de capa das revistas Veja, Época e Istoé sobre os temas saúde e bem-estar . A escolha por estes temas foi feita a partir da observação de que a sociedade de consumo pós-moderna envolve seus valores, desejos, hábitos, gostos e necessidades numa escala extremamente intensificada. Hoje, percebe-se que as imagens que transpassam saúde e beleza, de corpo e mente, tomam espaço cada vez maior nesta sociedade que passa a absorver tais valores como padrões de ascensão social e satisfação pessoal. Além disso, o corpo é mutável desde o nascimento até o envelhecimento e a sociedade de consumo não suporta as marcas e sinais do tempo no corpo. A busca por estética perfeita, longevidade e o surgimento de novos medicamentos e curas para doenças são temas, cada vez mais recorrentes na mídia semanal, caracterizando, assim, um interessante objeto de estudo. Os temas foram categorizados em subgrupos, de acordo com o foco de cada reportagem, tais como beleza e estética, medicina alternativa, remédios, tratamentos e prevenções de doenças, alimentação, dependência química, comportamento e ciência. O período analisado varre toda a existência das revistas, desde final dos anos 1960, até 2006. Metodologicamente adotaremos a análise discursiva, com aportes da semiótica para examinar as reportagens, confrontando os respectivos enunciadores das revistas e identificando, também, os sujeitos narrativos e seus valores, além da construção temática e figurativa, compondo contratos comunicativos específicos entre revista e leitor. Skriftliga broar : Ett arbete om lärarnas skriftliga veckoinformation till vårdnadshavare

Syftet med arbetet är att bidra med kunskap till lärare om hur de kan designa den skriftliga informationen som skickas på en veckobasis till vårdnadshavare, så att chanserna ökar att den blir läst. Arbetet har en kvalitativ ansats där en litteraturstudie, intervjuer och en observation används som metoder för empiri-insamlingen. Undersökningens metodval baseras på ett människocentrerat designperspektiv där gestaltningsförslaget baseras på teoretiska perspektiv inom kognitionspsykologin och informationsdesign.   Resultatet synliggör en brist på riktlinjer och en enhetlig struktur för veckobrevens utformning och innehåll. Detta är en anledning till att vårdnadshavare ibland inte tar del av informationen. Det finns en riktlinje som arbetet funnit när det kommer till den veckovisa informationen som skickas till vårdnadshavarna. Det är att lärarna har ett ansvar enligt läroplanen för grundskolan, LGR22, att informera om elevernas skolsituation, mående och kunskapsutveckling. Denna riktlinje talar inte om hur lärarna ska kommunicera ut informationen.   Arbetet visar att genom att ha en tydlig rubrik för veckobrevet, upplever vårdnadshavare att det är enklare att kunna förstå brevets relevans. Genom att varje veckobrev skrivs utifrån en mall, där brevets innehåll får en tydlig hierarkisk uppbyggnad med fasta rubriker skapade utifrån vårdnadshavarnas behov, kan vårdnadshavarna skapa sig en mental bild av veckobrev. Något som skapar trygghet och möjliggör att vårdnadshavarna enkelt kan orientera sig i brevet och snabbt hitta informationen som är relevant för dem. Utifrån resultaten gestaltas en mall som ska fungera som en standardiserad informationstyp för veckobreven. Vid utprovning av mallen fick en vårdnadshavare studera mallen och komma med synpunkter. Konceptet var passande för vårdnadshavarna och designen upplevdes som tydlig och lättläst, däremot kunde vissa delar möjligen innebära dubbelarbete för lärarna.

Standardiserad tidsplanering för SSM i produktionen / Standardized time scheduling for SSM in production

Det här examensarbetet har utförts åt företaget SSM där syftet var att standardisera deras tidsplaner och arbetssätt kring planering i produktionen.   Detta arbete har grundat sig på analys av några av SSM:s tidsplaner inom produktion, där dessa har granskats in i minsta detalj. Tre av sex projekt har studerats djupare och författarna har sedan gjort egna standardmallar som baserats på dessa. Utöver detta har även intervjuer/möten hållits med tidsplanerare både inom företaget men även utanför.   Dessa metoder resulterade i slutsatsen att alla platschefer på SSM samt personal på projekteringssidan bör använda sig utav Vico Office i framtiden för att en standardisering av tidsplanerna ska ske. Detta då programmet sparar återanvändbar information från varje projekt som genomförts, vilket på så sätt kan nyttjas i kommande projekt. I programmet finns olika verktyg för hur man väljer att presentera tidsplanen vilka framgår i rapporten.   Efter att ha provat på programmets olika funktioner rekommenderas att företaget använder sig utav det i framtiden då de kan kombinera olika planeringsverktyg samt koppla ihop modellen med bl.a. kostnader, mängder, resurser och tid. Anpassade standardmallar har tagits fram för att förenkla och standardisera tidsplaneringen enligt SSM:s arbetsprocesser. / This thesis has been carried out for the company SSM where the purpose was to standardize their time schedules and also their working methods regarding planning in production.   To achieve this, the thesis has mostly been based on analysis of some of SSM's time schedules in production, where these have been examined in the smallest detail. Three out of six projects have been studied in more depth and the authors have then made their own standard templates based on these. In addition, interviews/meetings have also been held with time planners both within, but also outside the company.   These methods resulted in conclusion that all site managers at SSM and personnel in the design department should use Vico Office in the future in order to standardize the time schedules. This because the program saves reusable information from each project that has been implemented, which can be used in future projects. The program contains various tools, which are stated in the report that allows the user to choose how to present the time schedule.   After trying the different functions of the program, the recommendation is that the company use Vico in the future as they can combine different planning tools and connect the BIM-model with e.g. costs, quantities, resources and time. Custom standard templates have been developed to simplify and standardize time scheduling according to SSM's work processes.

Weekly planning of hydropower in systems with large volumes of varying power generation

Hydropower is the world’s largest source of renewable electricity generation. Hydropower plants with reservoirs provide flexibility to the power systems. Efficient planning techniques improve the flexibility of the power systems and reduce carbon emissions, which is needed in power systems experiencing a rapid change in balance between power production and consumption. This is due to increasing amount of renewable energy sources, such as wind and solar power. Hydropower plants have low operating costs and are used as base power. This thesis focuses on weekly planning of hydropower in systems with large volumes and varying power generation and a literature review and a maintenance scheduling method are presented. The topic of hydropower planning is well investigated and various research questions have been studied under many years in different countries. Some of the works are summarized and discussed in literature reviews, which are presented in this thesis. First, some reviews are presented, which covers several aspects of hydropower planning. Literature reviews for long term, mid term and short term planning, respectively, are described. Maintenance scheduling in power systems consists of preventive and corrective maintenance. Preventive maintenance is performed at predetermined intervals according to a prescribed criteria. This type of maintenance is important for power producers to avoid loss in electricity production and loss in income. The maintenance scheduling for hydropower plants prevent these phenomena since spill in the reservoirs and wear on the turbines can be avoided. Usually, the maintenance in hydropower plants is performed on the turbines or at the reservoir intake. A deterministic and a stochastic method to solve a mid term maintenance scheduling problem formulated as a Mixed Integer Linear Programming using dynamic programming is presented. The deterministic method works well in terms of computational time and accuracy. The stochastic method compared to the deterministic method yields a slightly better result at the cost of a need for larger computational resources. / Vattenkraft är världens största källa till förnyelsebar elproduktion. Vattenkraftverk med magasin erbjuder flexibilitet till elkraftsystem. Effektiva planeringsmetoder förbättrar flexibiliteten hos kraftsystemen och minskar koldioxidutsläppen, vilket är nödvändigt i kraftsystem som utsätts för snabb förändring med obalans mellan produktion och konsumtion av effekt. Detta beror på ökad andel förnyelsebara energikällor, som vind- och solkraft, i kraftsystemen. Vattenkraftverk har låga driftkostnader och används som baskraft. Den här avhandlingen fokuserar på veckoplanering av vattenkraft i kraftsystem med stora volymer och varierande kraftproduktion, samt en litteraturstudie och en metod för underhållsplanering presenteras.    Ämnet vattenkraftplanering är väl undersökt och varierande forskningsfrågor har studerats under många år i olika länder. En del av arbetena sammanfattas och diskuteras i litteraturstudier, vilka presenteras i den här avhandlingen. Först presenteras några litteraturstudier, som täcker flera aspekter av vattenkraftplanering. Litteraturstudier, för långtids-, medeltidsplanering, respektive korttidsplanering beskrivs.    Underhållsplanering i elkraftsystem består av förebyggande och korrigerande underhåll. Förebyggande underhåll utförs vid förutbestämda intervall enligt förbestämda kriterier. Denna typ av underhåll är viktig för att kraftproducenter ska kunna undvika förlorad elproduktion och förlorad inkomst. Underhållsplaneringen för vattenkraftverk förebygger dessa fenomen, eftersom spill i magasinen och slitage på turbinerna kan undvikas. Vanligen utförs underhållen i vattenkraftverken på turbinerna eller vid intaget i magasinet. En deterministisk metod och en stokastisk metod att lösa ett medeltidsplaneringsproblem, formulerat som ett blandat heltalsprogrammeringsproblem presenteras. Den deterministiska metoden fungerar väl i termer av beräkningstid och noggrannhet. Den stokastiska metoden jämfört med den deterministiska metoden ger ett något bättre resultat dock till priset av ett behov av större datorresurser. / <p>QC 20220920</p>

The diploma thesis " The transformation of the press releases into the media texts" deals with criteria according to what journalists make decisions, what press release should be included into the news and what should not. Since the present media studies perceive gatekeeping as a broader process of information control involving all aspects of message encoding, therefore not just a selection but also a compilation, a transmition, a formation and the timing of information transmition from a supplier to a recipient, the diploma thesis also pursues the transformation process of a press release into a media text itself. The diploma thesis is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part includes the gatekeeping process analysis, the pseudoevent problems analysis and news production routinization analysis. This chapter summarizes the knowledge to the topic from scholarly literature. The second and the principal part of the diploma thesis is the practical and application part. This part argues a personal and a creative approach to a chosen problem solution. The premediate defined hypothesis are being disproved or approved on the basis of a practical research. The aim of this work is the analysis of a typology of characters in the serial novel, which was published in women's magazines in the interwar period. For this thesis were used methodology of quantitative content analysis and qualitative analysis of selected five novels to continue. The work was focused on the period 1931 - 1939. Obtained data were found identical types and features the characters used in contemporary novels to continue. They were found the common aspects of serial novels that formed the primary source material of this thesis. The research was obtained the basic data for working with literary figures of romantic fiction. In this work was prepared model the main male and female character appearing in the novels to continue. In this work was constructed the model of serial novel. Part of the thesis has brought an analysis of novels and their characters have been converted into a movie. This work confirmed the importance of the continuation novels, as a key department of women's periodicals in the interwar period. The contribution of this work is to analyze the most frequently used characters in the novels to continue. The ethnographic research analyzed in which aspects the WPM meets the training needs of teachers and in which it does not contemplate them, in order to re-signify: the end-goal of WPM as a formative space; the attendance to the training needs of teachers; children's learning; the moments of study, exchange, evaluation and collective decision that guarantee the collaborative teaching-learning process, in a nursery that is part of a municipal education network, with the educational guidelines of its policy. As a hypothesis, it was considered that the Pedagogical Coordinator (PC) has planned WPM with the aim of this space - the continuous formation of the teachers -, but its methodology is restricted to its own reading of the needs of the teachers, without to listen to these professionals, disregarding their history, their culture and the identity of the school. Initially, the picture of the education of the city and its peculiarities is presented, The history of Early Childhood Education and its trajectory in the municipality is also reported. Next, the importance of continuing education and the role of PC to ensure teacher-centered teacher training in the perspective of collaborative networking in the teacher training process is presented. The methodology used in the research involved teachers and PC. The data were collected through a questionnaire, interview, documentary analysis, and records of in situ observations, carried out by the researcher. The theoretical basis of the research is based on the studies of Placco (2003; 2006; 2010; 2012; 2013; 2017), Almeida (2003; 2012; 2016), André (2005; 2010; 2016), Souza (2001; 2012), Tardif (2014), Dubar (2005), Ciampa (1986), among others, about school-centered training and teacher identity. The analysis of the data shows that the greater training need of teachers is related to the practice developed in the classroom, although it reveals the predominance of contradictions, regarding the perception of teachers feel - or not - contemplated in their needs. The contradictory answers also took place regarding the listening and the possibilities of participation of the teachers during the meetings. The analysis also pointed out that the three-hour meetings during the night are tiring and that, at times, there is a loss of focus of the discussions, evidencing the need to elaborate guidelines that are more articulated to the real needs of the teachers. Strong interference was also identified with the demands of the Secretary of Education in the definition of the guidelines, which compromises the time of meetings and meeting the demands of teachers. The need for investment in interpersonal and collective relations was also perceived as a way to reduce the incidence of subjects discussed by teachers in informal spaces, called in the research as "pedagogical corridors". Finally, the need for continued strengthening of the role of the PC is underscored / O presente trabalho teve como objetivo investigar como ocorrem as Reuniões Pedagógicas Semanais (RPS) no interior de uma creche localizada em um município vizinho à cidade de São Paulo, uma vez que os professores reclamam que as referidas reuniões não suprem suas necessidades de formação. A pesquisa, de tipo etnográfico, analisou em quais aspectos a RPS atende às necessidades formativas dos professores e em quais não as contempla, com a finalidade de ressignificar: o objetivo-fim da RPS como espaço formativo; o atendimento às necessidades formativas dos professores; a aprendizagem das crianças; os momentos de estudo, troca, avaliação e decisão coletiva que garantam o processo de ensino-aprendizagem colaborativo, numa creche que faz parte de uma rede municipal de ensino, com as diretrizes educacionais de sua política. Como hipótese, considerou-se que o Coordenador Pedagógico (CP) tem planejado a RPS com o objetivo-fim desse espaço – a formação continuada dos professores –, porém sua metodologia restringe-se à leitura que ele próprio faz das necessidades dos professores, sem apurar a escuta desses profissionais, desconsiderando sua história, sua cultura e a identidade da escola. Inicialmente, apresenta-se o retrato da Educação da cidade e suas particularidades. Relata-se ainda, a história da Educação Infantil e sua trajetória no município. Em seguida, apresenta-se a importância da formação continuada e o papel do CP para garantir a formação dos professores centrada na escola, na perspectiva do trabalho em rede colaborativa, no processo formativo dos professores. A metodologia utilizada na pesquisa envolveu professores e CP. Os dados foram coletados por meio de questionário, entrevista, análise documental e registros de observações in loco, efetuadas pela pesquisadora. A fundamentação teórica da pesquisa está pautada nos estudos de Placco (2003; 2006; 2010; 2012; 2013; 2017), Almeida (2003; 2012; 2016), André (2005; 2010; 2016), Souza (2001; 2012), Tardif (2014), Dubar (2005), Ciampa (1986), dentre outros, sobre formação centrada na escola e a identidade do professor. A análise dos dados evidencia que a maior necessidade formativa dos professores está relacionada à prática desenvolvida em sala de aula, embora revele a predominância de contradições, no que tange à percepção de os professores sentirem-se – ou não – contemplados em suas necessidades. As respostas contraditórias também ocorreram no que se refere à escuta e às possibilidades de participação dos professores durante as reuniões. A análise também apontou que as reuniões de três horas no período noturno são cansativas e que, em alguns momentos, ocorre a perda de foco das discussões, evidenciando a necessidade da elaboração de pautas mais articuladas às reais necessidades dos professores. Também se identificou forte interferência das demandas da Secretaria de Educação na definição das pautas, o que compromete o tempo das reuniões e o atendimento às demandas dos professores. Percebeu-se, ainda, a necessidade de investimento nas relações interpessoais e coletivas, como forma de diminuir a incidência de assuntos discutidos pelos professores em espaços informais, denominados, na pesquisa, como “corredores pedagógicos”.
