文人論政是中國知識份子的一項傳統,尤於國勢危迫之際,更形發達與影響深遠。證之九一八事變後,受譽為「一代輿論權威」的大公報主筆張季鸞之時評文字,正反映出三○年代文人論政之內涵與價值。本文即由追述張氏生平事蹟入手,再深入探討其報論方針、思想基礎以及文境與文筆,並對照時事發展,以明瞭張社評形成之背景;接著,便將各篇社評內容之主要論點,分就抗日問題及建國問題兩方面來闡明、析論。有關抗日之詮釋,約以七七事變為分野,前期倡議緩抗備戰之說,後期則力主堅抗到底。而建國觀是以國家中心說為精髓,充實國防建設之具體事項。綜觀張說於三○年代論政潮流中,展現的政觀特質以及論點在和戰論爭、政治出路…等政治議題的定位,卒能成就出對時局的重大影響,獲得後人高度的評價。總括九一八事變後張季鸞的論政社評,標示了三○年代中國政治發展的圖象:在激發民族意識的同時,蘊涵著傳統主義的復甦;在提倡循三民主義理論以致政道的同時,顯示出政治觀的本土化。復由其立言的風格表現,更讓人體會到知識份子論政藝術的歷史經驗與通則。

《金瓶梅》為中國四大奇書之一,廣泛而深入地描寫人們對財色的欲求,透過其中所程現之人情事理的普遍性,可以體會人生的道理。如今,《金瓶梅》一書普行於世,已有多種版本而張竹坡評本《金瓶梅》對於中國內外流傳貢獻最大。本文旨在了解張竹坡利用評點形式分析《金瓶梅》時,是如何認識「小說」和「人生」的,試圖再詮釋張竹坡的小說觀和人生觀,希望藉由研究張批《金瓶梅》,得以更了解「小說」之本質,並且從而體會人生的道理。全文共分六章。第壹章緒論,概述研究旨趣、文獻檢討及使用版本。第貳章則從小說評點的發達情況、《金瓶梅》問世以後世人之評述與清初文字獄及禁燬小說等三方面,來探討張批小說理論之形成背景。第參章概述張竹坡生平及其評點《金瓶梅》之版本問題。第肆章探討張竹坡論小說之本質,創作及閱讀態度。第伍章探討張竹坡有關小說的人物,小說的情節結構,小說的主題,小說的語言,小說的細節,小說的環境構設等等的小說理論。第陸章結語,綜論張批小說理論之價值。

如何叛逃張愛玲--朱天文與胡蘭成的文學關係 / Separate the world of Chang, Eileen -- literature relations between Zhu,Tien-wen and Hu,Lan-cheng.羅郁玫, Lo, Yu Mei Unknown Date (has links)
朱天文由於家學淵源,很早即接觸了父親口中所說的好的作品-張愛玲的文本,而張愛玲的才氣與華麗的文字很讓朱天文著迷,而朱天文早期的作品的確是深受張愛玲的影響,然而,學者將張愛玲的文學地位抬至極高,且整理出受到張愛玲所影響的作家名單,當然,朱天文亦名列其中。本章主要是整理出所謂「張派」的研究名單,究竟是何種文風特色的作家作品被列名,主要的論者有哪些?他們又是持何種觀點呢?而回到朱天文早期的創作文本,張愛玲是否真的對朱天文造成莫大的影響?面對張愛玲,朱天文又有何種看法以及觀感,這對於其文學實踐又產生了什麼作用呢?
真要談朱天文,就得從三三時期開始說起,從創辦、集刊名稱、體例,以及週遭活動開始觀察,胡蘭成的文章思想以及啟蒙又對其產生如何的影響。
在黃錦樹評論朱天文的文章當中,點出《荒人手記》是對胡蘭成的致意,並引用胡蘭成〈來寫朱天文〉文中的比喻,將朱天文與日本祭祀的巫女相比併,究竟朱天文在文學創作上呈現何種特色呢?本文將回歸朱天文的創作文本,並藉由審視黃錦樹與王德威的說法,並且參考張瑞芬的研究,探討朱究竟是向張愛玲致意或是向胡蘭成靠攏?並且透過「巫」的意象觀察朱天文的書寫以何姿態展現,以及為什麼要以「巫」的姿態書寫。
本文從朱天文的三三時期開始耙梳,觀察朱天文的文章從早期張愛玲的影響與胡蘭成的文學淵源,乃至最後成功叛逃張派作品,自成天文風格的文學創作,看這位臺灣當代重要的小說家是如何以文字煉金術士的功夫奢靡地實踐文學這華麗的修行。

¡§Naked Wolf¡¨- the Anima/Animus and the Symbols of Eileen Chang and Her Works: ¡§Jasmine Flavored Tea¡¨ as the Main FocusSyu, Shun-jie 26 August 2009 (has links)
¡§Jasmine Flavored Tea¡¨ is one of the earliest published works of Eileen Chang. However, the autobiographic fiction which focuses its topic on ¡§looking for Father¡¨ has not been valued by the academic circle for a long time. In fact, ¡§Jasmine Flavored Tea¡¨ is the center text(centext) among Eileen Chang¡¦s works. She semioticizes this work according to its plot and then makes these elements metaphors of her later works. This is the key to discussions about the hypertextuality between the texts of Eileen Chang and the phenomenonal world. By using a new approach of criticism called ¡§the School of Super Searching,¡¨ this discourse attempts to blend the research achievements of modern anthropology, psychology and folkloristics into traditional searching, to do gender studies by searching ¡§psychological facts,¡¨ and to focus on the intertextuality between the plot of the fiction and the folk data. By means of the motive tied with folktales and folk customs, and of the related significant notions like misogyny, twins complex, endogamy desire, liminality and initiation rite, divine king and scapegoat, and individuation process, with a close reading on the text of ¡§Jasmine Flavored Tea,¡¨ this discourse explores how the pieces of symbolism and meaning in the text associate with the life experiences of Eileen Chang.The issues dealt by this discourse are as follows:
1. Lead a large amount of anthropological concepts into literary criticism, and make intertextual comparison between ethnography and literary works.
2. Clarify the countervailing process between masculinity and femininity in ¡§Jasmine Flavored Tea¡¨ by means of the connotative plot structures of the fairy tales, ¡§Iron John¡¨ and ¡§Little Red Riding-Hood,¡¨ in the text. Men gradually construct masculinity by adopting male violence in order to get rid of maternal swallowing and paternal castration.
3. The practical operatoins of Jung¡¦s theory in literary criticism: (1) Twins complex is an important complex to present the relationship between ego and Anima/Animus. (2) Synchronicity and the possibility of predictive text(predictext). (3) Clarification on the relationship between ¡§sukuu¡¨ and the self. (4) Application of the participation mystique on the narrative point of view.

張羣(1889-1990),是蔣中正幕僚群中的關鍵人物,歷任上海市市長、湖
北省主席、外交部長、四川省主席及行政院長等職。但涉及張羣的相關歷史研究 並不多。
本文聚焦張羣任上海市市長時期(1929 年 4 月至 1932 年 1 月)。對於張羣 的著述、蔣中正相關資料、檔案、當時的報刊等史料,加以分析比對並分類歸納。 通過厘清張羣任上海市市長期間相關行事,筆者認為張羣本欲在市政上有所作為, 也初步解決了市政上面臨的困難。但蔣中正對上海的政治期望並非市政建設,而 是上海的治安問題;當國家有難,蔣中正需要張羣運用他善於遊說地方勢力的縱 橫捭闔的政治手腕為他掃清屏障。張羣被要求頻繁奔波在非市政的領域,最終導 致了他在上海市市長任內的市政建設成果慘澹。
筆者試圖以此為基礎,探討張羣之政治才幹、張羣與蔣中正之關係、市長 張羣和中央執行委員張羣雙重身份下的張力等議題,以期能對理解張羣其人及訓 政初期的國民政府政治生態有所貢獻。 / Chang Chun(1889-1990) was one of the most important lieutenants of Chiang Kai-shek. He followed Chiang’s political path and took the position as Shanghai Mayor, the Chairman of Hupei Province, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, the Chairman of Sichuan Province and the Premier of the country. Even though he played an important role in modern China, the study of Chang Chun is not sufficient today.
This dissertation will focus on Chang’s Shanghai Mayor period (From April 1929 to January 1932). By collecting Chang’s works, the archive of Chiang Kai-shek and newspapers at that time, a most comprehensive viewing of what Chang did in and outside his mayor duty could be made. This dissertation makes clear that Chang wanted to do something on municipal administration on his position as Shanghai Mayor, and he preliminarily succeed to conquer the problems met. However, Chiang paid more attention on public order than municipal construction, which Chang focused on, in Shanghai. When the nation were in trouble,Chiang needed Chang to use his powerful social ability on lobbying the local power. As Chang was always forced to do some tasks outside Shanghai, his municipal construction was always not on the plan.
On the basis of these arguments, I want to discuss Chang’s intelligence in politics, the relationship of Chang and Chiang and the roles of Chang as mayor and central executive committee at the same time, in order to learn more about Chang Chun, as well as the political circumstance of early national government.

Estimating the adaptation deficit : an empirical analysis of the constraints on climate change adaptation in agricultureGawith, David January 2018 (has links)
Agricultural adaptation to climate change is often simulated by changes in land use over time. Land use is commonly optimised in economic models, which rests on the neoclassical economic assumption of rational choice among farmers. A wealth of experimental and empirical evidence demonstrates that rational choice can be a poor approximation of human decision making. Models simulating adaptation by optimising producers’ behaviour are in effect simulating adaptive potential. Much evidence demonstrates that adaptive potential does not necessarily translate into adaptation. This investigation focuses on the ways by which farmers’ real-world adaptive behaviours depart from those assumed by the dominant economic models of agricultural responses to climate change. These departures are characterised as adaptation constraints, and they are assessed through an empirical case study of adaptive behaviours in the Hikurangi catchment, New Zealand. Data are collected using a mixed methodology comprising an extensive survey of rural decision making, to which this study contributes, and a suite of semi-structured interviews. The interviews give an understanding of the origins and processes of adaptation constraints, while the surveys provide information about the extent to which they impact adaptive propensity. These adaptation constraints are then formalised as mathematical rules and written into an existing agent-based model of land use change, which is substantially modified for the purposes of this study. Different combinations of constraints are then tested in order to produce estimates of their economic impacts. The constraints on adaptation are found to significantly reduce profits relative to a specification that assumes rational choice among farmers. This is understood to be the first empirically derived estimate of the extent of the adaptation deficit. The size of the deficit identified in this study implies that current economic models are likely to significantly underestimate the costs of adaptation to climate change, the benefits of climate change mitigation, and the residual loss and damage climate change will cause.

Dans une approche transculturelle, transdisciplinaire et transtemporelle, la publication se concentre sur des pièces solo chorégraphiées et interprétées par sept chorégraphes contemporain.e.s basé.e.s en Allemagne, France, Martinique, Palestine, à Taiwan et aux Etats-Unis. Estimant que les corps humains sont objets et sujets de relations de pouvoir, la thèse étudie ce qui se passe lorsque les corps dansent le passé au temps présent, au sens propre et au sens figuré. L'auteure introduit un nouveau concept: (to) perforMemory, à la fois un substantif et un verbe en anglais. Elle met en relief la spécificité de la danse comme forme de production et transmission de la mémoire culturelle, en relation avec des traumas historiques tels que l'Holocauste, la Traite triangulaire ou Maafa, la Nakba ainsi que des défis sociopolitiques contemporains.

In an innovative transcultural, transdisciplinary and transtemporal approach, the publication focuses on solo works by seven contemporary dancers-choreographers based in Germany, France, Taiwan, Martinique, Palestine and the USA. Contending that corporeality is a site and a source of power, the research asks what happens when moving bodies propel the past into the present, metaphorically and materially. The author introduces a new concept: (to) perforMemory, which is both a noun and a verb, and discusses the specificity of dance in the production and transmission of cultural memory in relation to historical trauma such as the Holocaust, the Transatlantic Slave Trade, Maafa, the Nakba and contemporary sociopolitical challenges.
Conceived in a spiral-like fashion, the book takes the reader through diasporic dancescapes in which notions of identity, home, embodiment, spatiality and temporality unfold and are brought into resonance with each other in the discussion of specific dance examples. The theoretical references connect such various fields as gender studies, dance and performance studies, cultural memory studies, postcolonial studies, literature, quantum physics, queer studies and poetry. Based on doctoral research conducted across the globe from 2013 to 2017, the electronic publication also features the full interview transcripts of personal conversations recorded by the author with the artists Oxana Chi, Zufit Simon, Wan-Chao Chang, André M. Zachery, Farah Saleh, Christiane Emmanuel and Chantal Loïal, as well as links to audiovisual performance excerpts.

附屬於台鐵的《暢流》半月刊(1950~1991)是一本為火車乘客、鐵路員工發行的綜合性雜誌,講求「消閒」與「興趣」,內容五花八門,包括詩詞、遊記、書畫金石、人物軼聞、歷史掌故、文化探源、海外新知、文學創作等,堪稱一般大眾居家旅行必備良伴。本研究藉由細讀《暢流》,管窺戰後二十年間的文學文化生產的情況,一方面爬梳《暢流》的發展史及其週邊,一方面由文學研究的角度出發,指出《暢流》的特色、文學史上的定位,以及《暢流》所代表的美學取向。
本研究首先交代《暢流》刊史,分從:一、組織面上,說明《暢流》發行單位與歷任主事者的更迭與改組;二、經營面上,說明《暢流》的行銷方式、普及情形、售價調整、叢書出版等概況;三、編輯面上,點出編輯和作者的互動關係,闡釋編輯方針、刊物內容、讀者反應之間的交流與影響。接著,本研究聚焦《暢流》的形式與內容,追溯其承襲日本明治末期及中國民初以來鐵路附屬雜誌之脈絡,並在與同時代報刊的各種功能、類型對比下,照見《暢流》的綜合性。
本研究的第二部分,著重以「日常生活理論」分析《暢流》的旅遊書寫與生活新知。在外省人士以「由景點至風景線」的趨勢逐步認識台灣的同時,旅遊活動的頻繁複寫,使我們見到個體在現代的日常世界中,藉著「移動」所呈現的豐沛活力。另外,差異性不斷地展現在《暢流》的旅遊書寫中,展現在旅人對異地風俗、景觀的敏銳感知當中,於是,旅遊書寫的「非常」意義也由此展開。更重要的是,文本中橫貫公路、福隆海水浴場這些「地點神話」的建構過程裡可以得見,隨著五○年代中期以後台海情勢緊張、反共話語沸騰,同時期的《暢流》卻因為滿眼盡是遊山玩水的旅人,遂勾勒出一個現代化社會的輪廓:即連長年備戰的離島空間,都褪去反攻戰略跳板的色彩,而更接近於現代性不斷滲透、施展其神力的實驗場。另一方面,《暢流》的生活常識、科學新知則是時人在濃厚現代性的環境下,對「日常」萬象的期許與再現。
承上,本研究的第三部分由日常生活理論提示的「變動」、「流動」出發,析論《暢流》的文學作品內涵及其美學特徵。第一,本研究標舉「日常生活書寫」作為思考五○年代台灣文學的新框架,其具體文本內涵則包括購物活動、鄰里角力、社群關係的解散或重組、對愛情的質詰、以及寫實的社會百態等。第二,《暢流》的日常生活書寫顯示:所謂「反共」集體意識很可能是一種虛張聲勢,當脫去政治框架,「日常」仍將獲得普遍的關注。另外,在現代性的介入使日常不斷流變的歷程裡,「懷鄉」不再只是政治話語的附屬品,而成為日常書寫的同質異構體。
對《暢流》的全面探析,有助調校關於五○、六○年代社會實況的刻板印象。在看似政治掛帥、反共聲浪不斷的外象之下,現代性的滲透、現代生活的浮現,一一成為不宜忽略的面向。由此,五○、六○年代台灣文學的文藝美學、活動板塊、評價定位等,將再次走入評家論者的視野,亟待進一步的詮釋。 / With the research strategy of close reading and the methodology of Everyday life and culture theory, this thesis focuses on the Chang-Liou Fortnightly(1950-1991) to discover its developmental history, significant characteristics, and representative position in modern Taiwanese Literature. Aiming at the staff and the passengers, the Chang-Liou Fortnightly is an affiliated comprehensive magazine to the Taiwan Railway Administration, which includes classical poetry, travel notes, traditional Chinese painting, calligraphy, and graphic arts, anecdotes, general knowledge, science and technology, overseas experience, literary works and creative writings, etc. In the first place, this thesis explicates the developmental history of the Chang-Liou Fortnightly in three aspects: 1, at the organizational level; 2, at the management level; and 3, at the editing level.
The second part of study borrows a lot from Everyday life and culture theory to analyze the travel notes and the common knowledge in the Chang-Liou. While the mainlanders build a gradual understanding into Taiwan by the sequence which is named as “from scenic spots to landscape”, the frequent replication of tourism activities shows rich vitality in the course of moving and commuting. In addition, we can indicate a strong “non-everydayness” from the observation on local scenery and customs out of the travel notes. Above all, the emergency of “location myth” surrounding the Central Cross-Island Highway and the Fulung Beach for example reflect a modern image and also reveal a modern atmosphere during the martial law period. On the other hand, general knowledge, science and technology, and overseas experience all together outline the “everydayness” in the Chang-Liou.
The third part of this thesis, Chapter 4, discuss the meaning, the connotation and the text feature of the literary works especially those written by women writers. In view of “flowing” and “changing” hinted by Everyday life Theory, literary works in the Chang-Liou present a distinctive array of themes including shopping, neighborhood wrestling, interpersonal relation restructuring, questioning love, and investigating social issue. Besides, under the framework of “Everyday life writing”, the widespread perspective on taking the 1950s Taiwanese literature as anti-communist literature requires further reading and revaluation. Therefore, so-called nostalgic prose is no longer the product of political discourse, but another type of practice on Everyday life writing.
Studying the Chang-Liou on the Everyday life Theory basis improves the formation of railway magazine history and helps recognize how modernity influences everyday life during the first two decades in postwar Taiwan, so as to urge existing interpretations of 1950s Taiwanese literature and modern Taiwanese female literature to make certain alterations. Although purpose of the magazine is for leisure and for interests, the Chang-Liou expresses serious concern on literature, culture, and society, that is definitely a key notion for further research.
