Rozvojové projekty Euroregionu Glacensis

Kožená, Alena January 2007 (has links)

De nordiska biblioteken : En undersökning av Nordisk kulturkontakts och Nordens hus biblioteks identitetsskapande / The Nordic Libraries : A Study of the Construction of Identity by the Libraries of the Nordic Culture Point and the Nordic House

Barkelind, Malin January 2019 (has links)
The aim of this thesis is to examine the construction of Nordic and organizational identities performed by the libraries of two Nordic cultural institutions: the Nordic Culture Point in Helsinki, Finland, and the Nordic House in Reykjavik, Iceland. To do this, three main methods were used: (a) Fairclough’s critical discourse analysis was employed to interpret the institutions’ self-representations, (b) the topics of debates and talks organized by the institutions were analysed and (c) interviews were performed with librarians currently working at these libraries. The results show that the institutions are (re)presented as two separate units rather than two parts of the same organization. The Nordic Culture Point is more explicitly connected to the Nordic Council of Ministers while the Nordic House presents itself as an iconic building in a marketing manner. The institutions are affected by politically defined themes and values, which permeate their events. The most common themes for talks and debates were literature, environmental issues or sustainable development, and politics. Even though there is a clear influence from political strategy documents, many topics with little or no connection to these documents were found. In addition, the literature selection processes at these libraries do not seem to be largely affected by politically defined priorities, based on the librarians’ views. According to the librarians who were interviewed, the aim of the Nordic libraries is to offer literature in the Nordic languages that would otherwise be difficult to access, gather this literature in one location, and promote interest in the Nordic region. While they agree that the main point of reference for the Nordic libraries is public libraries, the librarians differ on the role digital technology should play in the library. This is a two years master’s thesis in Library and Information Science.

Distriktssköterskors upplevelser av samverkan med vårdcentralen, från hemsjukvårdens perspektiv : En kvalitativ intervjustudie / District nurses in home health care experiences of collaboration with the health center. : A qualitative interview study.

Fridh, Marielle, Svensson, Therése January 2020 (has links)
Background: Declining care places along with an increasing age of the population means that the need for care in the home is increasing. Therefore, it is important that collaboration works between the district nurse in home health care and the health care center, since primary care is the first-line healthcare. Collaboration can be seen as a working method in which the actions of different actors strive towards a common goal and is a complex concept.Aim: The aim of the study was to investigate district nurses in the home nursing experiences of collaboration between a care center and home health care.Method: An empirical interview study in southern Sweden with a total of 11 informants and qualitative content analysis took place in year 2019.Result: Collaboration between home health care and care center is reflected in the result of four categories: organization, relationship, dialogue and competence. Collaboration is influenced by how the organization is working based on division of responsibilities, resources and organizational changes. The collaboration is about relationships where understanding, knowledge and continuity in these relationships are affecting the collaboration between home health care and the care center. The dialogue between home health care and the health center is important where accessibility, feedback and meetings are important components for the collaboration to work. Collaboration could also benefit from the experience and expertise of other colleagues. Conclusion: The study reveals that there is a deficiency of collaboration and can be improved between home health care and the health center. The great challenge and opportunity for improvement can be found in the organization, relationships, dialogue and competence.

Honekamp, Wilfried 21 December 2010 (has links)

The Missing Pieces : A project about trying out and improving a jigsaw-style lesson in an ESL-setting / The Missing Pieces : A project about trying out and improving a jigsaw-style lesson in an ESL-setting

Svanström, Emil, Lundgren, Pontus January 2020 (has links)
The aim of this project was to explore the jigsaw-method as a teaching tool in English as a Second Language-classrooms, and to design and evaluate a jigsaw-style lesson that aims to promote student activation and communication. To achieve this goal, we conducted a case study in which we designed and tried out a jigsaw-style lesson in two classes. We then evaluated the lessons through a survey which was analysed using thematic content analysis. The results of the survey showed that the negative aspects voiced by the participants belonged to the two main themes Perceived difficulty and Perceived lack of time. Additionally, the participants made several suggestions for improvements which were identified as belonging to the following three themes: Predetermined groups (Based on skill), More time for each step of the lesson, and Pre-activity & Prior Knowledge. The results from the survey, in combination with a review of literature on second language teaching and prior research, was used to propose several changes to the lesson format as it was used in the case study. For example, we proposed the addition of a pre-reading exercise aimed at giving prior knowledge and activating schemas, as well as the addition of graphic organisers to help provide a clear focus to the different stages of the lesson. The proposed changes were aimed at alleviating the difficulties voiced by the participants in the case study. The changes were then applied to the case study lesson as an example.

Přeshraniční spolupráce euroregionů mezi Českou, Polskou a Slovenskou republikou / Cross-border cooperation of Euroregions between Czech Republic, Poland, and Slovakia

Vaňková, Eva January 2013 (has links)
The presented thesis is analyzing the cross-border co-operation between three units, the Czech-Polish-Slovak Euroregion Beskydy, the Czech-Slovak Bílé-Biele Karpaty and the Czech-Polish Euroregion Silesia. The object of the work is to point out the concrete factors influencing the collaboration in these Euroregions in 2004-2006 period. From the beginning of this date caught the countries, on whose territory particular structures are situated, as the lawful Member States of the European Union draw the financial aid from the Community Initiative INTERREG. An important part of this Initiative, INTERREG IIIA Programme, was in the Multiannual Financial Framework concerned designated to the support of the cross- border co-operation. The criteria are built on the base of the Theory of learning regions, according which the collaboration in cross-border structures is analysed: a milieu, from which the co-operation arised, a participation of the other subjects on the activities of the Euroregion and main areas of the co-operation and knowledge imparted. The priorities specified at the beggining of the partnership are envisaged with the intern setting of the Euroregion and with the projects truly realized in the period defined.

Questioning the rhetoric: A critical analysis of intergovernmental organisations’ entrepreneurship education policy

Amiel, May, Yemini, Miri, Kolleck, Nina 02 November 2023 (has links)
Entrepreneurship education is increasingly prominent in university and school curricula worldwide, following its intensive advocacy by intergovernmental organisations and national governments as a remedy for the urgent pressures to better prepare students for today’s globalised and highly competitive workplace. This study analyses the official policy documents of two of the most influential intergovernmental organisations – the European Union and the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development – in a quest to understand how each of these organisations presents and promotes entrepreneurship education. We argue that while the rationales and problems the European Union and the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development address regarding entrepreneurship education differ somewhat, the two organisations propose a very similar solution for entrepreneurship education implementation, occasionally even advocated through formal collaboration between the two intergovernmental organisations. We suggest that this collaboration exemplifies how intergovernmental organisations seek to govern in line with a globally dominant logic by providing universal, de-contextualised solutions to various problems. We build on previous studies on other policies these intergovernmental organisations advocated (e.g. quality education and modernisation of higher education) to learn about the nuances of such policy moves. We conclude by suggesting a critical understanding of such policy convergences and outlining recommendations for future research.

Odbytové organizace a jejich význam ve společné zemědělské politice / Marketing Estabilishments and their Importance in the Common Agricultural Policy

IRMIŠOVÁ, Monika January 2008 (has links)
The thesis is aimed at an analysis of marketing organizations within the frame ot the Common Agricultural Policy. Marketing organizations are one ot the forms of co-operation and these are usually horizontal co-operation, i.e. at the same level ot the logistics chain. This form of co-operation is called marketing organizations or marketing co-operatives in the agrarian sector. Voluntary grouping of farmers into marketing organizations is common both in the Czech Republic and within the whole European Union. To conclud the thesis, it can be said that the existence of co-operation is very important for functioning of agriculture and that agribusiness without any membership in any co-operative association is often very difficult.

Champagne-Racine, Jocelyne January 2016 (has links)
Abstract : This thesis describes the implementation of corporate culture changes at a Desjardins credit union branch and analyses how the process was achieved while ensuring it was in line with co-operative values and principles in the current context. The research is based on a unique case study for which data was collected in real time over the course of three years of regular observation. The thesis is qualitative in nature and shows the importance of instilling a renewed sense of co-operation among managers and employees, using new metaphors to convey its full meaning. It also stresses the need to better understand the different stages for building a co-operative business culture and provides a three-phrase model for transforming corporate culture within a co-operative business, which adds to the body of work on the topic. Furthermore, the case study provides better information on the crucial role played by the leader and managers and on essential qualities for a successful transition to a co-operative business culture.
