Thus, those first language Technician-Pedagogical Assistants were chosen to be interviewed in loco and the interviews were scheduled in eleven Pedagogical Offices located in Sao Paulo city and countryside. However, those educators had no previous knowledge about the content of the interview in order that the spontaneity of their speech might assure the scientific accuracy of the study on how public education has coped with the teaching of orality in Portuguese Language. The general goal of the present study consists of verifying how the first language Technician-Pedagogical Assistants are operationalizing the contents related to oral text teaching in the capacitation of teachers in Basic Education in public schools, so that the Technician-Pedagogical Assistants might understand the orality and also their domain over the theories related to oral language, especially the ones that study and describe the speech in social interaction, like the analysis of conversation and grammar of spoken Portuguese, which they are the fundamentals of the present study. It is also important to investigate the articulation of the theoretical and methodological comprehension shown by the Technician-Pedagogical Assistants with the propositions contained in the National Curriculum Parameters. Therefore, when analyzing qualitatively the content of the interviews, it has been attempted. Even so first language projects have been developed at Pedagogical Offices on Secretariat of Education in Sao Paulo States, Technician-Pedagogical Assistants know oral theories, but there are not specific projects about oral language modality to Basic Education. It disables modern theories in classroom application mainly analysis of conversation, linguistics, and sociolinguistics. It disables also National Curriculum Parameters proposal articulated with those subjects / No presente estudo, propõe-se demonstrar de que modo a rede estadual de ensino vem enfrentando questões relativas ao ensino da oralidade em língua materna, tendo-se por base uma pesquisa realizada com Assistentes Técnico-Pedagógicos (ATP) em Oficinas Pedagógicas (OP) da Secretaria da Educação do Estado de São Paulo (SEE). Optou-se por entrevistar os ATP de Língua Portuguesa (LP) in loco, agendando-se as entrevistas em onze OP selecionadas na capital e no interior do Estado, sem que, no entanto, esses educadores tivessem prévio conhecimento do teor da entrevista, com o objetivo de assegurar, na espontaneidade das falas, o rigor científico do estudo sobre a maneira como a rede pública tem se empenhado para realizar o ensino da oralidade, no âmbito da disciplina de LP. Os objetivos gerais neste estudo consistem em verificar a maneira como os ATP de LP estão operacionalizando os conteúdos relativos ao ensino do texto oral nas capacitações direcionadas aos professores de Ensino Fundamental e de Ensino Médio da rede pública; o modo como compreendem a oralidade e, ainda, o domínio que possuem a respeito das teorias pertinentes à linguagem oral, notadamente as que tratam de estudar e descrever a fala nas interações sociais, como a Análise da Conversação que fundamenta o trabalho aqui proposto. Investiga-se também a articulação dessa compreensão teórico-metodológica demonstrada pelos ATP com as propostas contidas nos Parâmetros Curriculares Nacionais (PCN). Ao se analisar qualitativamente o conteúdo transcrito das entrevistas, foi possível observar que, embora vários projetos sobre LP estejam sendo desenvolvidos nas OP da Secretaria da Educação do Estado de São Paulo e os ATP conheçam teorias do oral, não há projetos específicos que contemplem o ensino da modalidade oral da língua direcionados ao Ensino Fundamental e Médio. We have chosen for the accomplishment of our study one literary corpus, specified, a theatrical text, because the dialogues analised retract the spontaneity of the language. In this reaserch, we stand by theorically, in Analysis of the Conversation in a socialinteractionist perspective. We observed the mechanisms employed to formulate/reformulate the strategies adopted during the development of the conversational interaction. We ve found out, as defend Tannen, Lakoff and Preti, that the dialogue of fiction presents, in fact, a fertile material for the linguistics studies related to the oral language / A partir do tema Estratégias conversacionais na interação de Dois perdidos numa noite suja, de Plínio Marcos , esta pesquisa coloca em pauta questões relativas às interações verbais, particularmente, as que se referem às estratégias conversacionais, especificamente, a preservação da face, frame e footing, na tentativa de aproximação dos diálogos de um texto literário aos modelos ideais de estratégias conversacionais próprios da interação face a face. Escolhemos para a realização dos nossos estudos um corpus literário, especificamente um texto teatral, por acreditarmos que os diálogos analisados retratam a espontaneidade da linguagem. Consideramos nos exemplos selecionados para a análise, não apenas os aspectos relacionados à identidade social das personagens, mas também as características da situação de comunicação em que os diálogos ocorrem Nesta pesquisa, apoiamo-nos teoricamente, na Análise da Conversação na perspectiva sociointeracionista. Buscamos observar os mecanismos empregados para se formular/reformular as estratégias adotadas durante o desenvolvimento da interação conversacional. [pt] A coordenação de vários participantes interagindo simultaneamente em uma sessão de bate-papo é difícil, devido ao grande volume de idéias geradas e à variedade de assuntos, que podem ser paralelos ou até não relacionados. Durante várias edições do curso TIAE - Tecnologias da Informação Aplicadas à Educação - as seguintes dificuldades foram percebidas repetidamente pelos mediadores no debate: estimular a participação de todos, manter o foco da conversação e manter o ritmo do debate. Esta pesquisa investiga o uso de técnicas para facilitar a dinâmica dos debates. Uma ferramenta de bate- papo (Mediated Chat 2.0) implementando técnicas de conversação foi desenvolvida e disponibilizada para ajudar o mediador na condução da conversação entre os aprendizes de um curso do ambiente AulaNet. Atualmente, a aplicação usada no ambiente AulaNet é o Mediated Chat 1.0, uma instanciação do Framework Canais de Comunicação que foi desenvolvido no Laboratório de Engenharia de Software da PUC-Rio em 2000. O Mediated Chat 2.0 é uma instanciação deste mesmo framework. Para avaliar a aplicação desenvolvida foram realizados debates no curso TIAE 2002.2 onde pôde-se experimentar e comparar as duas ferramentas: Mediated Chat 1.0 e 2.0. As sessões de debate foram analisadas buscando avaliar se os mediadores conseguiram aplicar de forma satisfatória a dinâmica elaborada para os debates com a ferramenta Mediated Chat 2.0. O Mediated Chat 2.0 será incorporado ao software AulaNet. / [en] It is difficult to coordinate participants simultaneously interacting and generating ideas in a textual chat session. During several editions of ITAE course - Information Technologies Applied to Education - the following difficulties were perceived by the mediators: ensure participation from all users, keep the focus of the conversation and the flow of the chat. This research investigates the use of conversation techniques to facilitate the dynamics of textual chats. A tool (Mediated Chat 2.0) implementing those techniques was developed and made available to help mediators conduct chat sessions in a course using the AulaNet environment. Currently, the standard application used in the AulaNet environment is the Mediated Chat 1.0, an instance of the Communication Channels Framework developed in the Software Engineering Laboratory at PUC-Rio in 2000. The Mediated Chat 2.0 is an instance of the same framework. To evaluate the developed application, chats had been carried out in ITAE 2002.2 where both Mediated Chat 1.0 and 2.0 were used and compared. The chat sessions had been analyzed to evaluate whether the mediators managed to successfully apply the dynamics supported by the Mediated Chat 2.0. The Mediated Chat 2.0 will be incorporated into the AulaNet software.

[pt] O presente estudo parte da premissa de que novas formas de se comunicar surgem ao longo dos anos, inclusive na relação entre o humano e a máquina, onde, atualmente, a fala é o veículo comunicacional predominante. E nesse diálogo há uma busca para a adequação da máquina à nossa forma de comunicação e uma constante necessidade de adequação dos seres humanos à forma de comunicação da máquina. Essa investigação visa elucidar se sistemas baseados em interfaces de voz compõe o modelo de interação fundado no que se define como conversa, sendo amparados pelas áreas da ergonomia e usabilidade e por fundamentos provenientes da teoria da conversação. Este trabalho encontra-se estruturado em quatro seções: a primeira equivale a fundamentação teórica; a segunda seção abrange o levantamento de dados através de entrevistas com usuários de interfaces conversacionais; a terceira seção constitui-se na análise de conteúdo das entrevistas; e por fim, a quarta seção envolve as considerações em torno das experiências no uso de interfaces conversacionais atuais. / [en] The present study starts from the premise that new ways of communication are emerging throughout the years, including the relationship between human and machine, which nowadays, speech is the predominant communicational vehicle. And in this dialogue, there is a search for the adaptation of the machine to our form of communication and a constant need to human s adaptation to the machine s form of communication. This investigation attempts to clarify if systems based on voice interfaces are in fact composed by a model of interaction that is defined as conversation, and if they are actually being supported by the areas of ergonomics, usability, and also by the basics fundaments of conversation theory. This work finds itself structured in four sections: the first one corresponds to the theoretical foundations; the second section embraces data collection, which gathered several interviews with the users of conversational interfaces; the third section is established on the content analysis of the previous interviews; lastly, the fourth section concerns the final considerations of the current experience of conversational interfaces.

[pt] Os sites de redes sociais, liderados pelo Facebook, representam na contemporaneidade um fenômeno social e comunicacional graças a sua popularização e sua incorporação na vida de milhões de pessoas espalhadas pelo mundo. Uma das inovações promovidas por estes sites foi a consolidação da conversação em rede, isto é, da interação social pública, pessoalizada e permanente, praticada em sua grande maioria por mulheres, segundo revelam pesquisas e como pode ser comprovado pela pesquisadora através da própria utilização do Facebook, o que indica uma maior motivação do sexo feminino para a utilização do ciberespaço para fins de relacionamento, afeto e emoção. Diante deste contexto, o objetivo desta pesquisa foi identificar e descrever a apropriação do Facebook por um grupo de mulheres urbanas, economicamente ativas e na faixa etária dos 30 a 45 anos para fins de sociabilidade e exposição, isto é, de que forma estas práticas são realizadas no Facebook pelo grupo feminino observado - suas principais características e suas principais motivações - e como contribuem para a construção e para a manutenção da identidade simbólica da mulher moderna contemporânea. / [en] Social network websites, led mainly by Facebook, represent nowadays a social and communication phenomenon due to their popularization and constant use by millions of people spread all over the world. According to studies, one innovation brought by social network websites was the consolidation of web chats, meaning, public social interaction, personalized and permanent mostly used by women. The current researcher was able to confirm those studies by using Facebook chat, which indicates a greater motivation carried out by women to use cyberspace in order to develop relationships, convey affection and emotion. Within this context, the purpose of this research was to identify and describe the appropriation of Facebook by a group of urban women, economically active, in the age group ranging from 30 to 45 years-old. This group was observed in terms of sociability and exposition, in other words, in which ways those practices are carried out on Facebook by women, focusing on their characteristics and primary motivations. Furthermore, the current study also analyzed the contribution of the construction and maintenance of the symbolic identity of the modern women.
