Previous issue date: 2011-08-01 / This work is an analysis of the works of Lêda Selma de Alencar, which are
characterized by a recurring set of images, dispersed in a multiplicity of textual forms.
The chronic and the tales are the modalities of her prose, parallel to the production of
poetic texts and poems or not. This dissertation examines the dialogue established
between texts from different textual forms in poetic prose's entire Leda Selma,
through literary corpus: Pois é filho ... (1997); Nem te conto…! (2000); Até Deus
duvida (2002); Hum... Sei não! (2005); Eu, Hem?! (2008), which are meeting as
chronicles and tales. In addition to the A dor da gente (1988); Sombras e sobras
(2007); A deriva (2008), which are part of poems’ books. The proposal is guided by
contributions dialogical and intextual of Bakhtin (2003) and basing themselves mainly
by imaginary theory of Bachelard (1957) and added to formulations of Paul Ricouer
(2000). The authoress interacts with the reader and both live new experiences and
demonstrate a fascination with making poetic running through existing standards
between prose and poetry.

corpus literário: Pois é filho... (1997); Nem te conto (2000); Até Deus duvida (2002);
Hum... Sei não! (2005); Eu, hem? (2008), que estão reunidos como crônicas e
contos.

Memórias do cotidiano e saberes sujeitados: análise das crônicas A+B de Machado de Assis / Memories of everyday and subjects knowledges: analysis of chronic A + B of Machado de AssisSousa Neto, Dário Ferreira 25 September 2008 (has links)
This work aims to understand, from a compositional perspective, seven of Machado de Assis` chronicles. Published between September and October of 1886 in the newspaper Gazeta de Notícias, the chronicles A + B are an amalgamation of genres - chronicle, dialogue and parody - and rhetorical structural procedures - styling and paraphrase - and non-structural - intertextuality, irony and humour, based on the tragicomedy. Established on the fundamental theories of Julia Kristeva, Mikhail Bakhtin, Michel Foucault and Linda Hutcheon, the analyzis tries to understand the compositional elements and the sense of effects that transform these chronicles in elementary factors to understand all Machado de Assis` works. As the analysis has developed, it showed up the ability of the great author of appropriating from canonical sources in order to establish relations between them and the various political speeches and reported cases in the newspaper from that period. This is the reason of the title of this work, Memórias do cotidiano e saberes sujeitados, therefore from rhetorical structural and non structural procedures, the author disarranges the various official speeches and knowledges using the daily non-official knowledges to highlight the incongruous and the inconsistencies of forced knowledges as \"truths\". Such evidences are produced through technical and aesthetic procedures that show the importance of chronicle in our literature.

The research theme of this thesis is the indigenous health, thought in policies, practices and intercultural relations in health care. In that way, the thesis is aimed at analyzing the policies around the processes of health / illness / care aimed at the indigenous population in Roraima. It was deeply explored the microuniverse of Indigenous Health House in Boa Vista, called Casai-RR, to understand other contexts, such as the implementation of National Health Policy of Indigenous Peoples and the course related to this thematic. The objective of the research was to analyze the policy of interculturalism indigenous health, from the dialogues and tensions between social actors in Casai-RR. It was chosen as the study design ethnography, by enabling face to face interactions, strengthening interpersonal relationships between the actors involved. Ethnographic research was focused on managers of indigenous health policies, health professionals working at Casai and indigenous people from different ethnic groups who were undergoing treatment, including some shamans. Throughout the process, it was possible to build and reconstruct practices and conceptions of health and disease, in a continuous process, making room for the emergence of new health care models, with emphasis on character relational and multiple voices that are part of the social scene. As regards the construction of public policies, they have been permeated by dialogue, negotiation, conflict, historical buildings and different socio-cultural groups policies. This characteristic is accentuated in the construction of this interculturalism in indigenous health, which seeks to promote the dialogue between different rationalities and health practices, which by the way, has been a central theme in the struggle of indigenous peoples for the conquest of their rights in terms of access and services with quality.Research like this become essential for broad understanding of the cultural discourse of equality and recognition of ethnic and cultural diversity of societies, especially in the context of differentiated indigenous health care.

An agent-based approach to dialogue management in personal assistantsNguyen, Thi Thuc Anh, Computer Science & Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, UNSW January 2007 (has links)
Personal assistants need to allow the user to interact with the system in a flexible and adaptive way such as through spoken language dialogue. This research is aimed at achieving robust and effective dialogue management in such applications. We focus on an application, the Smart Personal Assistant (SPA), in which the user can use a variety of devices to interact with a collection of personal assistants, each specializing in a task domain. The current implementation of the SPA contains an e-mail management agent and a calendar agent that the user can interact with through a spoken dialogue and a graphical interface on PDAs. The user-system interaction is handled by a Dialogue Manager agent. We propose an agent-based approach that makes use of a BDI agent architecture for dialogue modelling and control. The Dialogue Manager agent of the SPA acts as the central point for maintaining coherent user-system interaction and coordinating the activities of the assistants. The dialogue model consists of a set of complex but modular plans for handling communicative goals. The dialogue control flow emerges automatically as the result of the agent???s plan selection by the BDI interpreter. In addition the Dialogue Manager maintains the conversational context, the domainspecific knowledge and the user model in its internal beliefs. We also consider the problem of dialogue adaptation in such agent-based dialogue systems. We present a novel way of integrating learning into a BDI architecture so that the agent can learn to select the most suitable plan among those applicable in the current context. This enables the Dialogue Manager agent to tailor its responses according to the conversational context and the user???s physical context, devices and preferences. Finally, we report the evaluation results, which indicate the robustness and effectiveness of the dialogue model in handling a range of users.

The aim of this paper is to clarify the importance of communication between parents and educators, as well as collaboration. The survey involves cooperation between parents and teachers in preschool and in the survey; it is the educators’ role and approach that is made visible. The issues I answer with the help of the interviewed teachers in the paper are: In what ways considers the interviewed teachers that can create dialogues with parents about children's daily life and activities? How do you describe the interviewed teachers that they interact with parents in preschool and the various forms of collaboration describe the interviewed teachers that they use in preschool? What difficulties consider the interviewed teachers may apply when creating dialogues and cooperation with parents in preschool Using a qualitative research method, the questions have been answered in the paper.

The purpose of this master thesis is to examine some pre-school teacher's and parent's perceptions about communication within the pre-school context and how this can be described in terms of conceptual dichotomy. The empirical investigation consists of a qualitative study, where data have been collected by interviewing two focus groups and one single parent. The main theoretical tools which the study uses as its premiss is Derridas' theory of hospitality and Habermas' theory of deliberative dialogues. The study also considers the conception of the intermediate domain as an arena for communication between parents and pre-school teachers, and further more the conception of stereotyping in social and cultural contexts. In order to explore these processes I have used the qualitative method of interpretation; Hermeneutic, also with a narrative approach to the analysis. The results and the analysis of the data show that the interviewed parent and pre-school teachers have a poor sense of knowing how much influence to give to each other. The parents were not satisfied with the level of open communication and how the pre-school teachers share information of the activities.

The main purpose of the thesis is: on the basis of an analysis and interpretation of Plato's Dialogues, to describe his personal characteristics in its relation to his pedagogic reality, and, on the basis of these descriptions, to analyse and interpret his teaching methods as a result of two different processes. The scientific perspectives of the thesis are inspired by hermeneutic philosophy of history and especially by the theories of Paul Ricoeur and Hans-Georg Gadamer. Furthermore, the perspective is grounded on three concepts of pedagogics, by the help of which both explicit and implicit pedagogic processes are analysed. In order to interrelate the interpretations some analytical and interpretational models have been used, based on Ricoeur's mimesis concept and his theory of narrative identity. The final interpretations maintain that a particular line runs through Plato's teaching, and that its goal is intellectual autonomy and a change in the pupil's whole view of the world, which implies a fusion between intellect and existential experience. This line shows that Plato teaches in both a sensual and spiritual dimension and that these processes, though contrasted, function in parallel. The goal of intellectual autonomy demonstrates how Plato breaks with his culture and by doing so recommends solitude - something quite revolutionary in an age when the group, a strong sense of community and of being one of Us sets its stamp on everyones mentality. An interpretation of the Symposium shows how any change in world view calls for a combination of existential experience and thought. The main principal features in Plato's teaching methods are presented as preparation, change, liberation and wisdom.
