A intimidade composta é a mesma?... / The research presented here is part of a project entitled The adventure of writing: practices, knowledge and scenarios, that seeks to deepen studies the act of writing in the perspective of its permanent metamorphosis and of metamorphosis of one who writes and/or read, based on self-narration and self-interpretation that can be read [and interpreted], also in the diaries written by ordinary people. In this research, we focus as objects of study the diary placing it among the disseminated practice of writing. The researches were based on the studies published diaries, written in its majority by women. Apparently intimate and secret notebooks edited and turned into books. It is, as well as Nora Catelli presents of a very attractive double marginality. According to the author, ―el diario íntimo de mujer sería, sin duda, el lugar de escritura más cercano a la verdad existencial de lo diferente” (2007, p.45). There are two questions that can be said mobilize discussions about the published diaries: one enunciated by the French researcher Philippe Lejeune (2008, p.260) – When you read 'the same' text printed in a book, will actually be the same? And the other developed by Laura Freixas (1996, p.11) - ―¿Son verdaderamente diários íntimos?‖. Weighs about these questions the seizure of the diary as a ordinary cultural practice and the book as a cultural object that establishes an order. According to historian Roger Chartier, the authors do not write books, do not they write texts that have become objects writings, manuscripts, engravings, printed (1994, p.17) .It seems strange that the term book-diary. As books, they appear like any other book: cover, title, preface, presentation, content ... As diary: what's in these books? The text is the same? The composed intimacy is the same? Vozes femininas de Moçambique / Female voices from Mozambique

Pereira, Ianá de Souza 19 October 2012 (has links)
Through a comparative analysis of the novels Ventos do apocalipse [Winds of the Apocalypse] (1999) and Niketche: uma história de poligamia [Niketche: A Story of Polygamy] (2004), by Mozambican writer Paulina Chiziane, the present dissertation discusses the representations and the social role of women in novels based on the intense strength of the social relations that guide the behavior of men and women in Mozambique. We shall show how women especially those from Mozambique characters who used to be mainly represented by a male aesthetic-literary construction, acquire, in Paulinas female writing, a womans representation of women. Thus, we attempt to consolidate a critical thinking to support the investigation hypothesis according to which the subalternity instituted for women and rooted in the patriarchic capitalist order is deconstructed in the literary space.

In the search for writings by women that talked about the female body I found Maria Teresa Horta’s lyric. In her poems, the eu-lírica gives voice to a body as a way to untie it from the patriarchal domain. Thus, there is a woman’s voice and a woman’s writing that derive from an immanence. They are analyzed, at first, from an internal movement that will answer some essential questions, such as: what makes this writing truly feminine? In what aspects is it different from a masculine one? Is it a biological manifestation or is this concept not founded in such perspective? According to the ideas of Hélène Cixous and Luce Irigaray, theoreticians of the difference feminism, there is a ‘woman being’ that has constantly been erased by the “father”’s and the logos’s laws, therefore women’s writing and speech need to subvert phallogocentrism and let themselves flow through female body. It would be the return of the semiotic language of Kristeva, essentially feminine and circular, which is not tied to the denomination and immobility of the name. In a poetic and erotic language, we find this speech of the body that surpasses an imposed social order, thus leading us to a second movement – an external one. The implications of a recovery of the female body by women outside the patriarchal sovereign would lead to a complete change in society, in which men and women would not occupy vertical spaces; on the contrary, their social positions would be established in a horizontal axis with no hierarchy, so women would not be subordinated to men and vice-versa. There would be mutual respect inside the difference. Politically, gender difference would not be a reason for discrimination and subordination. Hence, poetry represents the possibility of subversion of the patriarchal order from the phallus, as long as, when produced by women, it is the writing of a female body, a woman’s writing that voices the eu-lírica. From the becoming of a woman, women’s lyrics is born. Similarly, there comes gynocritics– a literary theory that marks a women’s tradition in the literary studies that rejects traditional criticism.

Beraldo, João Paulo Ribeiro January 2019 (has links)
Abstract: The present Dissertation has at its heart the results of the research in which the theme developed was the Italian female Renaissance writing in the 16th century, which is based on the poetic-epistolary works of two homonymous women, Veronica Gambara (1485 - 1550) and Veronica Franco (1546 - 1591). Our sources were Terze Rime (1575), Veronica Franco's Lettere Familiari a Diversi (1580), Veronica Gambara's Rime and her Lettere. The basic point that is present in the investigation is how the linguistic constructions, the courtesy wordplay (characteristic of courtly art) occurred, that is, how the compositions of the works were constructed. Both poetry and letters were intended by their authors with intent. The poets were inserted in a courtier game. Therefore, we investigate the existing nuances found in the works and the social contours pertinent to the time that guided the writing of the two women surveyed. / Mestre

The reading and the writing at womens silence : an intersection between psychoanalysis and culture

Corrêa, Maria Celeste Arantes 31 March 2009 (has links)
This work investigates how a muting process historically imposed to women was capable of partially introduce them in the world of the culture and at the same time to segregate them in specific ways of appropriation, by a triple process of apoliticization, asexuation and intellectual guardianship, in a way that restricted them to secondary fields of consumption and cultural production. It also analyzes how psychoanalysis emancipatory trend, liberating the sexuality but privileging the falic logic, overshadowed the paper of the mother, joining itself to the foucaultian alliances device and its strategies of power, especially the histerization of womens body. The feminine introduction in the aculturalization process resented a learning and an education processes excessively invested in writing and in the absence of orality. At the same time, appeared a pretension to a literary writing not submitted to formal processes from specific literary schools and neither to a solid tradition in writing. This specific way of appropriation delimited for women specific themes, subjects and styles, as well as it has happened historically with their practices of reading. In this manner, for the logic of the distinction and their specific conditions for literary written production, it remained to women the production of daily, private correspondence, literature of trip and a profusion of sentimental and social romances, read especially by women. The feminine writing was firstly enrolled by periodicals baseboards, with its fait-divers and the feuilleton-romances. The literary production finds in the psychoanalytic theory its form of subliming by excellence. Comparing womens history of reading and literary production to freudian and lacanian interpretations of psychic processes associated to the subliming, this work points to two directions: of one side, in an ontogenetic approach, it proposes that sexuality, education and sociability of girls - future mothers should be considered under an optics of non-exclusive mothering, centered in the object relations. In the other hand, from a sociogenetics point of view, it concludes that the slow transformations in the psychic structures of feminine superego that conduces to the subliming are directly associated to the cultural transformations implied in the order of sex/gender.

[en] THE POSSIBILITY OF FEMININE WRITING IN LYGIA FAGUNDES TELLES AND IN OTHER MALE AND FEMALE WRITERS, AND ITS DIALOGUE WITH CULTURE / [pt] A POSSIBILIDADE DE UMA ESCRITA FEMININA EM LYGIA FAGUNDES TELLES, EM OUTRAS ESCRITORAS E ESCRITORES E O SEU DIÁLOGO COM A CULTURA

MARIA JEANINE DE MIRANDA SALVATERRA 30 July 2004 (has links)
[en] The subject of this essay is feminine writing, a concept that can be applied to both female and male writers. We demonstrate how the characteristics of this writing are expressed in Lygia Fagundes Telles s work and also in other texts by female and male writers. The concept of feminine writing encompasses not only the psychoanalytic approach to the primordial experiences expressed in the literary discourse, but also the thematic perspective that shows how the female approach is different from the masculine in dealing with female characters, responsible for the point of view of the narrative. Also, postmodern thinking helps feminist criticism to reread literary works. In this context, the feminine emerges as the place of difference, and feminine writing becomes revolutionary as discursive potency, opposing the status quo and allowing the emergence of a voice that was previously silent: the voice of the feminine universe. This is also a question of language, because the new discourse demands a new language. Changes in ways of dealing the feminine have produced, in the real world, a pattern of libertarian behavior symbolized in the 1970s by the actress Leila Diniz.

The choice of the corpus was given by the fact that the cultural expressions of the work of that author represent far more than artistic manifestations. Are, in fact, an exercise of collective memory of social practice. We chose those texts that discuss historical themes or everyday related to social roles assigned to women, in the context of Brazil and Brazil, which are: prejudice and violence against women; the marriage; as well as the death and suffering, arising from the sexist oppression on the genre. The strings chosen were: story of Margarida Maria Alves, story of a life suffered, dismantle the world's story, When I was excluded from the St. Lawrence community, story of Bayeux and bird story. The theoretical basis was the semiotics of French line, in particular, the proposals of Greimas and Rastier that were considered the analysis of three structures that make up the generational path of meaning and analysis of human areas of the human environment: the ID, the proximity and the cultural distance. To this end, it was necessary to establish a systematic path that understood the following actions: a) theoretical study about the Semiotics of culture, based mainly on the work developed by the same authors mentioned above, of which we highlight, the popular culture and your transmission; (b) the purpose of writing) study, considering the socio-historical and cultural context of your production c) analysis of the immanent ideologies to narratives examined, deciphering and reconstituting the socio-cultural processes and the values of the subject that they establish, d) rescue of intersubjective relations and human projections of person, space and time, describing the effects of direction caused by such mechanisms.
