Using a critical-historical methodology, this thesis explores the dimensions and boundaries of the concept of the “whistleblower”. The specific case studies of WorldCom, the Madoff Ponzi scheme, and WikiLeaks are examined. The analysis includes an investigation into the shifting role of the whistleblower in society and whether legislative enactments have been able to support society’s need to protect current and future whistleblowers. I denna uppsats undersöks hur J.K. Rowling gestaltar identitetsskapandet av Harry Potter i Harry Potter-serien som består av sju böcker. Sedan presenteras möjligheterna i litteratursamtal med utgångspunkt i skönlitteraturen Harry Potter-serien med temat identitetsskapande. Diskussionen om möjligheterna i ett litteratursamtal utgår från sex läsarter, som är den handlingsorienterande läsarten, den betydelseorienterade läsarten, den värderingsorienterade läsarten, den subjektsorienterade läsarten, den intentionsorienterade läsarten och den metakognitiva läsarten. Undersökningen av Harry Potter-serien baseras på en kvalitativ metod för narrativanalys då tolkning och analys presenteras i resultatet och analysen. Studien presenterar Harry Potters identitetsskapande utifrån fyra kategorier. Den första kategorin är den osäkra identiteten, den andra kategorin är den förbestämda identiteten, den tredje kategorin är den sökande identiteten och den fjärde identiteten är den etablerade identiteten.

<p>Huvudsyftet med studien är att genom fyra djupintervjuer granska några unga läsares syn på Harry</p><p>Potter och den kritik som framförts gentemot fenomenet, alltså att framhålla ungdomarnas röst, som</p><p>en motpol till de vuxna som har kritiserat böckerna. Ett annat syfte är även att lyfta fram böckernas</p><p>betydelse inom medieundervisning, då de idag är mer än bara böcker och oftast en del av den</p><p>transmedialisering, där böcker blir film och där böcker inte säljs utan medieuppbåd. I uppsatsen</p><p>presenteras fyra av de många kritiska åsikter som framförts gentemot Harry Potter-böckerna och</p><p>dessa kommenteras och diskuteras av fyra ungdomar i 17-årsåldern. De fyra kritiska åsikterna</p><p>gäller; magiinslaget i böckerna; rädsla för att de som inte läser böckerna skall känna sig utanför;</p><p>den sneda familjebilden; samt de stereotypa könsrollerna. De fyra informanterna, två pojkar och två</p><p>flickor, reagerar i stort sett likadant gentemot dessa. I sammandrag tycker de att kritiken är överdriven</p><p>men de har alla en förståelse för att böckerna kan bli kritiserade. De uttrycker alla en oro för att</p><p>barn kan bli negativt påverkade av böckerna, men tycker samtidigt att de själva inte blivit påverkade,</p><p>trots att de själva började läsa böckerna då de var barn. Slutsatsen för arbetet är i korthet att</p><p>kritik gentemot Harry Potter-böckerna inte påverkar hur dessa ungdomar betraktar dem, och de</p><p>anser att kritik mot böckerna snarare ökar intresset för böckerna än motsatsen.</p> / <p>The main purpose of the study is by doing four interviews looking at some young people’s views</p><p>of Harry Potter and the criticism that has been brought up against the phenomenon. In doing so,</p><p>attention is called to the voice of the young people as an antipole to the adults that have been criticizing</p><p>the books. Another purpose is to bring forward the importance of books in media-education,</p><p>because of the fact that today books are not only books and often a part of media phenomena expanding</p><p>over different kinds of media, where books become movies and where books do not sell</p><p>without support from the media. In the composition four of the many critical opinions against the</p><p>Harry Potter-books are presented and these are commented and discussed by four seventeen year</p><p>olds. The four critical opinions are about; the magical aspects of the books; fear that the ones not</p><p>reading the books will be outsiders; the askew family images; and the stereotypical gender roles.</p><p>All four informants, two boys and two girls, react basically in the same way against these criticisms.</p><p>To sum up, they all feel that the criticism is exaggerated but still they all have an understanding</p><p>of why the books might be criticized. They all express worry over the fact that children</p><p>might be affected negatively, even though they themselves were children when they started reading</p><p>the books. The conclusion is, in short, that criticism against the Harry Potter-books does not affect</p><p>how these young people look at them, and they think that criticism against the books rather increases</p><p>the interest for them, than the opposite.</p>

This dissertation is a recension of the thesis of Harry J. McSorley on Luther. We pay special attention to some of the reactions that the book of McSorley published in 1969; that is Luther Right or Wrong? An Ecumenical Theological Study of Luther's Major Work, The Bondage of The Will has given rise to, either positively or negatively. Then we put McSorley vis-a-vis his critics, and we try the most possible to create a dynamic dialogue between them. After showing some of the reactions to the thesis of McSorley, and after presenting the thesis itself, we try to answer our first question that is "Is the thesis of McSorley on Luther still valid today?"
