This study covers the years of 1937-1961, a coping period that the school organizations had to face due to the strong campaign of nationalization in German schools and societies. In these scenarios, the structure and the administrative-pedagogical organization of the school had to adjust to transformations in the political context of the country. From the norms determined by the state and by the federal government, there were several curricular changes such as: prohibiting the use of the German language in class, not allowing the conversation in German between students in the schoolyard and between teachers and students, prohibiting the circulation of foreign books inside the institution, the government regulation of holidays and vacation, teaching methods and the way teachers led the pedagogical relationship and disciplinary practices. This research sought to discuss how the school, being private and having German origins, has adjusted to the new government proposals and changes in the administration. This research aims to investigate the changes in the school from the current legislation, for example in the faculty and students of schools, in the festivals and celebrations and in educational practices developed in this period. It also aims to understand how the school, teachers, directors and other agents used these norms and guidelines of this code of National Education, - which the state took over, by establishing their fundamental principles and monitoring its application, - to constitute their teaching practice and match the political and educational expectations established in the analyzed period. Through the theoretical support and the analyzed documents (the annual reports from the direction of primary education which were presented in the school Maintainer Meetings, the school notebooks, the school newspapers, the Teaching Magazines of Rio Grande do Sul, the photographs of events, the inspection records, the official correspondences and the interviews), the research was established. The final considerations focus on the issue that the campaign of nationalization in education sought to socially regulate the national feeling, causing the school to assume the characteristics of the systematic and repressive action of local authorities. Moreover, Col?gio Farroupilha became a target and used to be monitored during this process, because this action involved a rigid policy of nationalization in private schools. In part, the school sought to fulfill the governmental inspections and norms. We can say that the changes that have reached Col?gio Farroupilha were not exclusive of that institution, but it is a story, to a certain extent, of resistance and adjustments to government measures which aimed one goal: the ideal nationalist institution. / A presente pesquisa, inserida no campo da Hist?ria da Educa??o problematiza o ensino prim?rio do Col?gio Farroupilha de Porto Alegre /RS no processo per?odo da nacionaliza??o do ensino at? a implanta??o da Lei de Diretrizes e Bases da Educa??o Nacional/1961. Este estudo abarca os anos de 1937 a 1961, per?odo de enfrentamento das organiza??es escolares devido ? forte campanha de nacionaliza??o nas escolas e sociedades alem?es, em que a estrutura e a organiza??o administrativo-pedag?gica do ensino prim?rio e ginasial do Col?gio ajustava-se ?s transforma??es ocorridas pelo contexto pol?tico do pa?s. A partir das normatiza??es determinadas pelo Estado e pelo governo federal, ocorrem diversas modifica??es curriculares como: a proibi??o do uso da l?ngua alem? nas aulas, a proibi??o estendida ? conversa??o usual no p?tio do col?gio, nas rela??es entre os corpos docente e discente, a circula??o de livros estrangeiros dentro da institui??o, a determina??o pelo governo quanto ? regulamenta??o dos feriados e das f?rias, os m?todos de ensino e o modo como os professores conduziam a rela??o pedag?gica e as pr?ticas disciplinares. A investiga??o dessa tem?tica buscou problematizar como a escola, sendo particular e de origem alem?, se ajustou ?s novas propostas governamentais e reformas na administra??o. O estudo tem como objetivo investigar as mudan?as ocorridas na escola a partir da legisla??o vigente, do corpo docente e discente, das festas e comemora??es e das pr?ticas educativas desenvolvidas nesse per?odo de mudan?as administrativo-pedag?gicas, entender como a escola, os professores, diretores e os outros agentes se utilizaram dessas normatiza??es e desse c?digo de diretrizes da Educa??o Nacional, no qual o Estado assumiu a sua suprema dire??o, fixando-lhes os princ?pios fundamentais e controlando a sua execu??o, para constituir suas pr?ticas de ensino e corresponder ?s expectativas pol?tico-educacionais implantadas na ?poca analisada. Por meio do suporte te?rico, dos documentos analisados (relat?rios anuais da dire??o do ensino prim?rio apresentados em Assembleias da Mantenedora da escola, os cadernos escolares, os peri?dicos escolares, as Revistas do Ensino/RS, as fotografias dos eventos, registros de inspe??o, correspond?ncias oficiais e entrevistas realizadas) a pesquisa foi constitu?da. As considera??es finais se centram na quest?o que a campanha de nacionaliza??o do ensino procurou disciplinar e regular socialmente o sentimento nacional, fazendo com que o ensino assumisse caracter?sticas de uma a??o sistem?tica e repressiva das autoridades locais, e o Col?gio Farroupilha se tornou uma escola visada e fiscalizada durante este processo, pois essa a??o envolveu uma pol?tica de nacionaliza??o r?gida nos estabelecimentos de ensino particular. Em parte, o col?gio procurou atender as demandas das fiscaliza??es e normatiza??es governamentais. Podemos dizer que as modifica??es que atingiram o Col?gio Farroupilha n?o foram uma prerrogativa exclusiva dessa institui??o, mas ? uma hist?ria, at? certo ponto, de resist?ncias e de ajustamentos ?s medidas governamentais que visavam um objetivo: a institui??o do ideal do nacionalismo.

Therefore, we elected as scenario the city of Jaguar?o, that is located in the southwest border of the state of Rio Grande do Sul, because there were born Henrique d??vila and Jose Diana, two politicians that have threshed successful careers along the second half of XIX century, but they remained linked to the place they were born. Firstly we proceed to a characterization of the local elite which we were dealing it, what revealed traces of a closed and conservative elite. On the other hand, researching the trajectory of these individuals that performed the role of mediators, we found that they and their families were deeply intertwined with the elite of the city, what is, incluiding, one of the factors that enabled they to acting as mediators between the locality and the external world. However, a number of elements determines the ability of mediation of this individuals, as the relations they keep inside and, specially, out of the locality, of the positions they occupied and the prestigie that they had in a specific moment. Therefore, with variable efficiency according the listed conditions, the elite of Jaguar?o had their interests represented in the government, indicating the active role of the local elites in the process of construction and maintenance of the Imperial State. / O presente trabalho analisa as formas de articula??o entre a elite de uma localidade e o Estado Imperial, atrav?s da atua??o de alguns indiv?duos que mediaram as intera??es entre essas partes. Para tanto, elegemos como cen?rio o munic?pio de Jaguar?o, localizado na fronteira sudoeste do estado do Rio Grande do Sul, pois l? nasceram Henrique d??vila e Jos? Diana, dois pol?ticos que trilharam carreiras de sucesso ao longo da segunda metade do s?culo XIX, mas continuaram vinculados ao lugar onde nasceram. Em primeiro lugar, procedemos a uma caracteriza??o da elite local da qual est?vamos tratando, o que revelou tra?os de uma elite fechada e conservadora. Por outro lado, investigando as trajet?rias desses indiv?duos que desempenharam a fun??o de mediadores, verificamos que eles e suas fam?lias estavam profundamente entrela?ados com a elite do munic?pio, sendo este, inclusive, um dos fatores que os habilitavam a atuar como mediadores entre os a localidade e o mundo externo. Contudo, uma s?rie de elementos determinava a capacidade de media??o desses indiv?duos como rela??es que mantinham dentro e, especialmente, fora da localidade, dos cargos que ocupavam e o prest?gio que dispunham num momento espec?fico. To do that, I take Michel Foucault s concept of apparatus, and its development by Hans Ulrich Gumbrecht and Giorgio Agamben, and describe the apparatus of engagement. The apparatus is described genealogically, through readings of Jean-Paul Sartre and Theodor Adorno. I show that the concept of engagement has three different meanings, which I describe as three levels. The novels Zero, by Ign?cio de Loyola Brand?o, and El oto?o del patriarca, by Gabriel Garc?a M?rquez, both published in 1975, are analyzed in what pertains to their narrators and protagonists, and the results are compared to the described levels of engagement. The conclusion shows that there is a presence of the apparatus of engagement in these novels. In the concluding remarks, the historical inscription of the novels is discussed, both relating to Latin American general history and to cultural and literary history / Esta tese se inscreve dentro do projeto contempor?neo de escrever a hist?ria da literatura de um s? ano, no caso o ano de 1975. In modern age - during the liberal period - the ordinariness became a paradigm, by the influence of rationalism. The law was submitted to the methodology of mathematical sciences. The judge became the ?mouth of the law? and the biggest asset of ordinariness is designed - the ordinary procedure - slow and declaratory by nature, committed to the certainty and security. Court decisions based in likelihood were rejected by the system, therefore they contradicted the legal core values of this historical period, preventing execution acts during the cognition process. The summary forms of jurisdiction always coexisted with the civil procedure, in greater or smaller extension, since its origin in classical Roman law. This summary forms are different species of jurisdictional activity, which cuts through the entire cognition procedure, and have the ability to quickly and effectively assure the exercise of certain rights. The Brazilian Code of Civil Procedure of 1973 was strongly influenced by rationalism and the ordinary procedure has been elected as a standard. In its original version, the 1973 Code reflected the theoretical assumptions of modern age, creating the legal abstraction called cognition-execution dichotomy. After the re-democratization and the changes in social axiology - influenced by advertising, consumption, technology and science applied to information - The Brazilian Civil Procedure Code of 1973 and the ordinary procedure failed to attend modern social demands, not conforming to democratic-constitutional paradigm for its slowness and inability to perform with effectiveness rights, once its conception was founded on legal fictions, which were away from underlying substantive right. In contrast to ordinariness, holds up the recovery of procedural summarization capable of exerting influence modernizing the justice system, to streamline the civil procedure for the democratic-constitutional paradigm and also bring it phenomenic reality. The 2015 Brazilian Code of Civil Procedure reflects the constitutional process. In its core values, safety and effectiveness are closer to the balance, breaking a significant part of the rationalist ideology, through the valuation of summary forms of cognition. / O procedimento ordin?rio tem origem no direito romano, deitando suas ra?zes na vertente da cognitio extraordinaria, cuja recep??o pela doutrina tradicional foi respons?vel por equ?vocos conceituais, especialmente o de que a jurisdi??o se define pela cogni??o, levando ? pessoaliza??o dos direitos, quando os interditos, formas sum?rias de cogni??o, foram absorvidos pela actio. Na modernidade, na fase liberal, a influ?ncia racionalista al?ou a ordinariedade ? condi??o de paradigma. O direito foi submetido ? metodologia das ci?ncias que buscam a verdade por meio da raz?o. O juiz passou a ser a ?boca da lei? e o grande trunfo da ordinariedade surgiu - o processo de conhecimento - declarat?rio e ordin?rio por natureza, comprometido com a certeza e com a seguran?a. O sistema passou a rejeitar os ju?zos de verossimilhan?a, por contraporem-se aos valores centrais desse per?odo hist?rico, repelindo qualquer executividade na mesma rela??o onde se realizava a cogni??o. As formas sum?rias de jurisdi??o sempre conviveram com o processo, em maior ou menor grau, desde o seu surgimento no direito romano cl?ssico. S?o esp?cies de tutela diferenciadas, que atrav?s da utiliza??o de cortes na cogni??o, t?m aptid?o para realizar certa classe de direitos de forma r?pida e efetiva. O CPC/73 foi fortemente influenciado pelo racionalismo, tendo o procedimento ordin?rio sido eleito como padr?o. Em sua vers?o origin?ria, refletia os pressupostos te?ricos da modernidade, atrav?s da abstra??o jur?dica que refletia a dicotomia cogni??o-execu??o. Ap?s a redemocratiza??o e as mudan?as na axiologia social - influenciadas pela propaganda, consumo e pela tecnologia e ci?ncia aplicada ? informa??o - o CPC/73 e o procedimento ordin?rio passaram a mostrar-se insuficientes para dar conta das demandas sociais, n?o se conformando ao paradigma democr?ticoconstitucional, por sua lentid?o e incapacidade de realizar com efetividade os direitos, pois fundados em fic??es jur?dicas que os afastaram do direito material. A first instance, dedicated to memory, points to some images of the emancipation that were builtt after its success, as well as to the meaning that these images intended to carry. After that, based on the theory of J?rn R?sen, who understands historical narrative as an intellectual operation capable of ensuring men?s identity before time, some historiographical productions from this period will be analyzed. The conferences of the Brazilian Historic and Geographic Instititute, in celebration of the 100 years of Independence, Francisco Adolfo Varnhagen?s A History of Independence, posthumously published, and Manuel de Oliveira Lima?s The movement of Independence, are highlighted. The objective then is to perceive how this apparent tension between memory, understood as an image of the past susceptible to imagination, and, historiography, seen as an intellectual operation in which research results and rationalizations about this same past are developed in written form, happens. / Esta disserta??o pretende analisar a rela??o entre mem?ria e historiografia tendo por objeto de estudo algumas produ??es lan?adas durante as comemora??es do Centen?rio da Independ?ncia do Brasil. So, we tried to identify the strategies that have enabled the development of these two automobile companies of national nature, its growth ambitions and the way they related to multinationals, this industrial branch, installed here. High taxes that protected the Brazilian industry in the years 70/80, allowed the emergence of dozens of small manufacturers over the proposed period. However, the economic imbalance of the eighties, demanded immense creativity of these entrepreneurs, who started the 1990s with an economic opening that exposed their markets and companies for competition with imports. From this, we fix its technological developments and innovation capabilities as a central means for understanding their realities and potentials. Methodologically, this thesis was based on bibliographic analysis and primary documents, combined with several interviews with people involved in the issue, and others performed in various news programs. / A tese que segue, buscou analisar a ind?stria automobil?stica brasileira entre as d?cadas de 1970 e 1990 a partir da an?lise do desenvolvimento empresarial de Jo?o Gurgel, Aldo Besson e Iltemar Gobbi e suas empresas: Gurgel Motores S.A. e Aldo Auto Capas, renomeada posteriormente para Besson, Gobbi S.A. Para tanto, partimos da compreens?o de que a ind?stria automobil?stica desempenha ainda hoje papel central na economia brasileira. Assim, buscamos identificar as estrat?gias que permitiram o desenvolvimento destas duas empresas automobil?sticas de cunho nacional, suas ambi??es de crescimento e a forma com que se relacionavam com as multinacionais deste ramo industrial aqui instaladas. To do so, initially we studied the phenomenon of formation of nations and nationalisms in the European and African context, with a case study on the specificity of Cape Verdean case. After this stage, we contextualize the historical moment of the two works of reference, the first written in 1963, during the struggle for decolonization of African countries where Portuguese is the official language, and the second, written forty-two years later, during the last year of the author in the Cape Verde ambassador condition in Portugal. The last stage of this analytical work is a debate about the historicity of thought of On?simo Silveira in the two works, regarding the discussion about national identity in Cape Verde, taking in to account both historical categories "space of experience" and "horizon of expectation", proposed by Reinhart Koselleck. / Este trabalho de pesquisa tem como objetivo analisar a historicidade na interpreta??o de On?simo Silveira sobre a identidade nacional em Cabo Verde, com base no estudo comparativo de dois de seus livros: ?Consciencializa??o na literatura caboverdiana? e ?A Democracia em Cabo Verde?. Para tanto, inicialmente estuda o fen?meno da forma??o das na??es e dos nacionalismos, no contexto europeu e africano, com um estudo de caso sobre a especificidade do caso caboverdiano. Ap?s essa etapa, contextualiza o momento hist?rico das duas obras de refer?ncia, a primeira escrita em 1963, durante a luta pela descoloniza??o dos pa?ses africanos de l?ngua oficial portuguesa, e a segunda, escrita quarenta e dois anos depois, durante o ?ltimo ano do autor na condi??o de embaixador de Cabo Verde em Portugal. From this analysis two points jump in sight: first, to defend the strengthening of representative government, set within the framework of a parliamentary Republic and, secondly, the strengthening of the federal Union on the state units by delivering a political centralization regime for the Brazilian state. These two main aspects that stand in the federalist speech at the national level, were strongly influenced by a regional character problems, experienced by Rio Grande do Sul during the castilhista-borgista regime of authoritarian and conservative feature: with respect to the southern state, denial that the castilhista situationism was around the representative government and its replacement by a "dictatorship"; with regard to the Union, the desired subject of this authoritarian interests of Chief Rio Grande State. In this sense, we analyze, through political press and parliamentary speeches of federalist opposition, the relationship had major thematic policies raised by maragato party at the national level with the situation south of Rio Grande, occasioned by castilhista-borgista authoritarianism, which the Federalist Party, throughout its history, has always been energetic opponent. / Este trabalho tem como objetivo analisar, sob o prisma da imprensa e parlamentar, a atua??o pol?tica do Partido Federalista no contexto da Primeira Rep?blica Brasileira. Dessa an?lise dois pontos saltam ? vista: em primeiro lugar, a defesa do fortalecimento do governo representativo, definido dentro dos marcos de uma Rep?blica parlamentarista e, em segundo lugar, o fortalecimento da Uni?o federal sobre as unidades estaduais, delineando um regime de centraliza??o pol?tica para o estado brasileiro. Estes dois aspectos principais, que se colocam no discurso federalista no ?mbito nacional, estavam fortemente influenciados por uma problem?tica de car?ter regional, vivida pelo Rio Grande do Sul durante o regime castilhista-borgista, de fei??o autorit?ria e conservadora: com rela??o ao estado sulino, a nega??o que o situacionismo castilhista fazia em torno do governo representativo e a sua substitui??o por uma "ditadura"; com rela??o ? Uni?o, a pretendida sujei??o desta aos interesses autorit?rios do Chefe do Estado rio-grandense. Fashion, understood here like a social phenomenon without specific content, is present in many fields of the social life. Even though personal looks are its clearer expression, fashion also covers behaviors. It seeks to contextualize the called "cycling fashion", which spreaded along the occident at the end of the XIX century, from the big European centers to the small provinces. In this time the development of new types of bikes made it possible for more people to use it - like older men and women. The new practice diffusion demanded appropriate clothing, since it wasn?t possible to ride these bikes using the suitable clothes of the time. Because of this many proposals of new clothes were presented, causing different reactions - the female clothing, for instance, created controversy for being close to a symbolic challenge to the gender roles, strongly set by that time. The cyclists unions encouraged the adoption of uniforms. In Porto Alegre, on the selected 10 years timeframe, there were two important associations - the Uni?o Velocipedica de Amadores and the Radfahrer Verein Blitz - from where fashion will be considered on its two aspects - the habits and the clothing. This paper will analyze speeches about the cycling clothes present on Brazilian newspapers in that time and how it was used by the people from Porto Alegre that shared the love for bikes, from evidences provided by the press and photography. In short, it?ll be discussed the connections between fashion, modernity and cycling in Porto Alegre. / Esta disserta??o aborda os prim?rdios da pr?tica do ciclismo em Porto Alegre (1895-1905) e o vestu?rio utilizado por seus adeptos, ambos sob a perspectiva de processos de moda. A moda, entendida como um fen?meno social sem conte?do espec?fico, se insere em diversos campos da vida coletiva. Embora as apar?ncias pessoais sejam sua express?o mais clara, a moda contempla tamb?m os comportamentos. Busca-se contextualizar a chamada moda do ciclismo , que se espalhou pelo Ocidente no final do s?culo XIX, desde os grandes centros europeus at? as prov?ncias. Nessa ?poca, o desenvolvimento de novos modelos de bicicleta viabilizou o uso do ve?culo por indiv?duos com perfis variados como homens mais velhos e mulheres. A difus?o da nova pr?tica demandou roupas adequadas, uma vez que n?o era poss?vel pedalar utilizando os trajes adequados para mostrar-se em p?blico na ?poca. Desta maneira, diversas propostas de vestu?rio foram apresentadas, causando rea??es diversas o traje feminino composto por cal?as, por exemplo, gerou pol?mica por aproximar-se de um desafio simb?lico aos pap?is de g?nero, determinados rigidamente no per?odo. A uni?o de ciclistas em clubes estimulou, por sua vez, a ado??o de uniformes. Em Porto Alegre, no dec?nio selecionado, houve duas associa??es importantes a Uni?o Velocipedica de Amadores e a Radfahrer Verein Blitz a partir das quais a moda ser? considerada em seu duplo aspecto nos h?bitos e na indument?ria. Ser?o analisados os discursos sobre as roupas de ciclista presentes em peri?dicos brasileiros da ?poca e seu uso pelos porto-alegrenses que partilhavam o gosto pela bicicleta, a partir de ind?cios fornecidos pela imprensa e pela fotografia. No decorrer do processo de coloniza??o do Estado verifica-se um constante descaso do poder p?blico com a educa??o, especialmente na regi?o Oeste catarinense, criada em 1917, de modo que diversos desafios permeavam a trajet?ria daqueles que optavam por seguir a profiss?o professor, sobretudo na ?rea de matem?tica. Diante disso e considerando que os desafios enfrentados pelo professor em sua trajet?ria formativa e profissional t?m implica??es no desenvolvimento da educa??o de uma maneira geral, interessamo-nos em identificar os principais desafios educacionais (forma??o e atua??o) enfrentados por professoras de matem?tica da educa??o b?sica na regi?o de abrang?ncia da 4? Ger?ncia Regional de Educa??o de Santa Catarina entre as d?cadas de 1970 e 1990. Para tanto, entrevistamos cinco professoras, que lecionaram em escolas da regi?o oeste no per?odo citado, que corresponde ao tempo de exerc?cio profissional das professoras. O estudo foi constitu?do, em termos metodol?gicos, segundo os pressupostos da Hist?ria Oral, baseando-se na realiza??o de entrevistas como instrumento de constitui??o de dados. As entrevistas foram gravadas em ?udio, transcritas e textualizadas, constituindo-se em documento-base do estudo. A partir da an?lise do material emp?rico constitu?do por meio das narrativas das professoras foram evidenciados desafios de tr?s naturezas distintas: desafios da forma??o, da profiss?o e do ensino de matem?tica. Em rela??o aos desafios da forma??o, os depoimentos sinalizam que para a dist?ncia da regi?o das institui??es formadoras, as condi??es de perman?ncia nestas institui??es e a escassez de cursos espec?ficos de matem?tica. No que dizem respeito aos desafios da profiss?o, os depoimentos sinalizam para a estrutura inadequada das escolas estaduais, a falta de incentivo para a profissionaliza??o docente e a falta de suporte pedag?gico. E no que concerne aos desafios do ensino da matem?ti ca as professoras assinalam a limita??o de tempo para planejamento, escassez de material pedag?gico e atendimento especializado sem ter forma??o adequada para tal. Embora n?o constitua diretamente um objetivo do estudo realizado, consideramos que este trabalho dissertativo pode contribuir para a composi??o de fontes hist?ricas acerca da educa??o no interior do Estado de Santa Catarina, bem como para constituir uma vers?o da hist?ria do ensino de matem?tica na regi?o de abrang?ncia da 4? Por fim, numa perspectiva hist?rica, o estudo pode constituir-se em fonte de dados que podem embasar uma vers?o da hist?ria do ensino em Santa Catarina, contada a partir da narrativa das viv?ncias das depoentes. / The State of Santa Catarina, has as landmarks of its colonization the establishment of the first settlements even in the seventeenth century and the arrival of German and Italian immigrants in the nineteenth century, in addition to being on the route of European expeditions in the sixteenth century, in terms of education was a historic whose main brands littoralisation of public higher education and neglect basic public education. During the colonization process there is a constant indifference of the government to education, especially in Western Santa Catarina region, created in 1917, so many challenges saturate the path of those who chose to follow the teaching profession, particularly in math area. Considering that the challenges faced by teachers in their educational and professional career have implications for the development of general education, we are interested in identifying the main educational challenges (education and performance) faced by mathematics teachers of basic education in region covered by the 4th Regional Management of Education of Santa Catarina (4th Gered) between the 1970's and 1990's. We interviewed five teachers who taught at in western schools in the mentioned period, which corresponds to professional practice time the teachers. The study was made in terms of methodology, according to the assumptions of oral history, based on the interviews as data creation tool. The interviews were audio-recorded, transcribed and textualized, constituting a document-based study. From the empirical material analysis made by the narratives of the teachers were highlighted challenges in three distinct natures: the challenges of education, profession and the teaching of mathematics. Regarding the challenges of training, the signal testimonials to the distance from the area of educational institutions, the conditions to be in these institutions and the lack of specific mathematics courses. As they related about the challenges: the statements point to the inadequate structure of state schools, the lack of incentives for teacher professionalization and lack of pedagogical support. When the teachers became teachers, the challenges point out the limitation of time for planning, shortage of teaching materials and specialized care without having proper training to do so. Besides, we believe that this dissertational can contribute to the composition of historical sources about education in the State of Santa Catarina, as well as to provide a version of the history of mathematics education in the 4th Gered. Finally, from a historical perspective, the study may constitute a source of data that can base a version of history teaching in Santa Catarina, told from the narrative of the experiences of former students.
