Ensaísmo, práticas confessionais, autoficção, performance de si, apropriação de imagens amadoras, valorização do processo e abertura da cena à sua não-realização, na forma da emergência do fracasso, são escolhas, projetos ou procedimentos estéticos empregados em um número crescente de filmes brasileiros, sobretudo aqueles tomados por documentais. Tais escolhas dialogam, criticamente ou não, com uma cultura audiovisual colonizada por estratégias que visam a uma permanente intensificação dos \"efeitos de real\": seja por meio da tentativa de apagamento da linguagem como construção e mediação (o que chamamos de \"apelo realista\"), seja por meio da exposição de uma suposta intimidade como lugar privilegiado, ou mesmo garantia, da verdade do sujeito (o que chamamos de \"hipertrofia da subjetividade\"). Na contramão dessa tendência e operando na indeterminação entre autenticidade e encenação, pessoa e personagem, público e privado, processo e obra, experiência e jogo, vida e performance, diversos documentários brasileiros contemporâneos, que constituem o foco de nosso interesse, têm investido na opacidade, na explicitação das mediações, na reposição da distância e na tensão entre as subjetividades e seus horizontes ficcionais - destilando dúvidas a respeito da imagem documental, colocando sob suspeita seus procedimentos ou produzindo suas próprias esquivas. Os filmes que constituem o nosso corpus - caso de Jogo de cena (Eduardo Coutinho, 2007), Santiago (João Moreira Salles, 2007), Pancinema permanente (Carlos Nader, 2008), Juízo (Maria Augusta Ramos, 2008), Filmefobia (Kiko Goifman, 2009), Moscou (Eduardo Coutinho, 2009), Sábado à noite (Ivo Lopes Araújo, 2007), O céu sobre os ombros (Sergio Borges, 2010), Pacific (Marcelo Pedroso, 2009), Rua de mão dupla (Cao Guimarães, 2004), Avenida Brasília Formosa (Gabriel Mascaro, 2010) e Viajo porque preciso, volto porque te amo (Marcelo Gomes e Karim Ainouz, 2009), além de diversos outros títulos, de longas e curtas-metragens, a eles relacionados - não são aqui vistos como meros sintomas de nossa época, nem como formas puramente autônomas dotadas de legitimidade artística. Organizados em quatro ensaios e articulados a outras manifestações da cultura, os filmes analisados tanto constituem diversos regimes de visibilidade (com seus correlatos modos de produção da subjetividade) como tensionam as formas estéticas e as forças culturais, políticas e sociais em jogo em nossa sociedade mediada pela imagem, onde o que se mobiliza e disputa é a própria vida ordinária (que sempre interessou ao documentário), contígua às dinâmicas do capital e indissociável de seus jogos de cena. / Filmic essays, confessional practices, autofiction, performance of the self, appropriation of amateur images, appreciation of the creative process and the openness of the scene to its non-closure assuming a sense of failure: these are all choices, projects or aesthetic procedures employed by a growing number of Brazilian films, especially those classified as documental. These choices dialogue, critically or not, with an audiovisual culture colonized by strategies that aim the constant intensification of \"reality effects\". These effects are achieved either by the attempt of erasing filmic language as a construction and as a mediation process (what we name \"realist appeal\"), or by means of exposing an alleged intimacy as the place of the subject\'s guaranteed truth (what we name \"subjectivity hypertrophy\"). Heading towards another direction, a number of Brazilian contemporary documentaries work within an undetermined zone between the authentic and the staged, the real subject and the fictional character, the public and the private sphere, the artistic process and the final work, the real experience and the invented game, life and performance. These films, which will be the main focus of our interest, invest in the opacity of meaning, in the self-evidence of the filmic mediations as well as the reenactment of distances and tensions between subjects and their fictional counterparts, raising questions about the status of the documental image and putting their own artistic procedures under scrutiny. The films chosen for our analysis - Playing (Eduardo Coutinho, 2007), Santiago (João Moreira Salles, 2007), Permanent Pancinema (Carlos Nader, 2008), Behave (Maria Augusta Ramos, 2008), Filmphobia (Kiko Goifman, 2009), Moscow (Eduardo Coutinho, 2009), Saturday night (Ivo Lopes Araújo, 2007), The sky above (Sergio Borges, 2010), Pacific (Marcelo Pedroso, 2009), Two way street (Cao Guimarães, 2004), Avenida Brasília Formosa (Gabriel Mascaro, 2010) e I travel because I have to, I come back because I Love you (Marcelo Gomes e Karim Ainouz, 2009) and many other short and feature films - are not seen as symptoms of our time neither as purely autonomous forms with artistic legitimacy. Organized in four essays, the films are analyzed in combination with other cultural manifestations creating different visibility regimes (each one with its own mode of subjectivation) and tensions within the aesthetic forms and the cultural forces - a political and social quarrel at play in our society permeated by images - in which the place of dispute is a theme that always interested documentarists: the ordinary life, always connected to the dynamics of capitalism and inseparable from its scenic games.

Esta tese desenvolve uma pesquisa em torno do lugar da psicanálise no pensamento filosófico e político de Cornelius Castoriadis (1922-1997), sobretudo relativa à segunda etapa de sua obra a partir de 1968. Investiga e discute em particular duas hipóteses: 1. A função paradigmática da psicanálise (teoria e prática) foi constitutiva para a formulação da concepção de sujeito e, portanto, de autonomia conceito que foi adquirindo papel progressivamente central na obra castoridiana. 2. O modelo de sujeito que emerge dessa reflexão é sui generis, distinto das filosofias da segunda metade do Século XX, e representa uma virada conceitual que remete ao futuro da filosofia. Examina ainda, ao longo do texto, o processo de articulação entre a psicanálise e as idéias-mãe de Castoriadis: imaginação radical, criação, significações imaginárias sociais, imaginário social instituinte, etc. Como conclusão, tenta elucidar algumas conseqüências dessa virada nas esferas política, histórico-social, institucional e mesmo psíquica. / The present thesis develops a research concerned with the position of psychoanalysis within the boundaries of the philosophical and political thought of Cornelius Castoriadis (1922-1975), conferring a particular emphasis on the second stage of his work initiated in 1968. The framework investigates and discusses especially two hypotheses: 1. The paradigmatic function of psychoanalysis (theory and practice) with has been constitutive viewing the formulation of the subject conception and therefore comprises the statement of autonomy -- concept that progressively acquired a central role in the castoridian body of work. 2. The model of subject - that arises stemmed by this reflection results sui generis, for it distinct from the prevailing philosophies of the second half of the twentieth century and represents a conceptual turning point that conducts to consider and regard the future of philosophy. Throughout the text there is also the inspection of the articulation process between psychoanalysis and Castoriadis mother ideas, namely: radical imagination, creation, social imaginary significations, social imaginary institutor, etc. As for conclusion, the text attempts to clarify some consequences derived from this turning point considering the context of political, sociohistorical institutional and even psychic scopes.

CAPES - Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior / Diante do quadro de alterações na gramática do PB como sintomas da remarcação do Parâmetro do Sujeito Nulo PSN por que tem passado a língua, investigo a emergência do pronome de 2ª. pessoa com marcação genérica vocêgen, largamente empregado na língua falada como forma alternativa aos pronomes: nulo genérico e não referencial, se, a gente e nós. Esta tese parte da hipótese de que vocêgen exerce no PB a função de pronome indeterminador à semelhança do clítico se, cujo apagamento ou deixa vazia essa posição ou é substituído por vocêgen. Associo essa possibilidade às mudanças sintáticas processadas no PB: apagamento do clítico se; surgimento do paradigma de pronomes fracos nominativos no lugar do sistema pronominal Agr como compensação da perda do sujeito nulo referencial (Kato, 2000); perda da propriedade de genericidade do pronome a gente; emergência de construções existenciais com ter; tendência ao preenchimento da posição de sujeito que caminha para a perda do nulo não referencial e genérico, em uma clara evidência do encaixamento linguístico da variação. O modelo teórico-metodológico seguido é o da Sociolinguística Paramétrica proposto por Kato & Tarallo (1989). Assim, tendo em vista a variação interlinguística, tem-se como princípio norteador da discussão formal das variantes a teoria gramatical de Princípios & Parâmetros, de Chomsky (1981), e avanços em sua versão minimalista (Kato, 2000; Holmberg, 2010). O ponto relevante deste trabalho em relação à implementação de vocêgen está na proposição de que o interior de INFL é o lócus onde o pronome é inicialmente inserido antes de ser movido para a posição de sujeito gramatical das construções de terex nas quais o pronome não estabelece relação temática com o verbo. Considerando a variação paramétrica, um estudo comparativo com o PE comprova que quanto à realização de sujeitos indefinidos, o PB e o PE também exemplificam contrastes relevantes, confirmando a hipótese de que as mudanças sintáticas que estão desencadeando alteração de valor do PSN é um fenômeno que acomete somente o PB. / Considering the alterations in the grammar of PB as symptoms of the remarking of the Null Subject Parameter - PSN that the language has passed, I investigate the emergence of the 2nd person pronoun with generic mark-up, widely used in the spoken language as an alternative form to the pronouns: null non referential and generic, se , nós and a gente This thesis is based on the hypothesis that vocêgen is used on the function of indeterminating pronoun like the clitic se, whose deletion leaves this position empty or is substituted by vocêgen. I associate this possibility with the syntactic changes processed in PB: deletion of clitic se; emergence of the nominative weak pronoun paradigm in place of the pronominal Agr system as compensation for the loss of the referential null subject (Kato, 2000); loss of the property of genericity of the pronoun a gente ; emergence of existential constructions with ter ; tendency to fill the position of subject that moves to the loss of the non referential and generic null, in clear evidence of the linguistic embedding of the variation. The theoretical-methodological model followed is that of Parametric Sociolinguistics proposed by Kato & Tarallo (1989). Thus, in view of the interlinguistic variation, this thesis adopt as guiding principle Chomsky's grammatical theory of Principles & Parameters (1981), and advances of this theory in its minimalist version (Kato, 2000; Holmberg, 2010). The relevant point of this work in relation to the implementation of vocêgen is in the proposition that the interior of INFL is the locus where the pronoun is initially inserted before being moved to the position of grammatical subject of the constructions of terex in which the pronoun does not establish thematic relation with the verb. Considering the parametric variation, a comparative study with the EP proves that in relation to the performance of indefinite subjects, BP and PE also exemplify relevant contrasts, confirming the hypothesis that the syntactic changes that are triggering alteration of the PNS value is a phenomenon that affects only PB. / Tese (Doutorado)

Le monde « d’aujourd’hui » et ses transformations sociales ou légales impactent naturellement ce « petit monde dans le grand monde » qu’est celui de la prison. Les avancées significatives des dernières décennies, par exemple en matière de droit de l’homme et du détenu ou de culture du respect, s’imposent, petit à petit, aux règles et aux hommes de la pénitentiaire qui les appliquent. Ce faisant, les écarts qui existent depuis toujours entre buts de système et buts de mission, entre sécurité interne et sécurité externe ou entre impératifs de garde et besoins d’accompagnement à la réinsertion des personnes incarcérées, se creusent. Nous avons pu observer comment les tensions sociétales internationales qui sont à l’ordre du jour des prisons belges perfusent du niveau macro (celui de la super structure) au niveau micro (celui de l’individu au travail). Il en résulte, pour les salariés qui les vivent, un profond bouleversement, tant des gestes professionnels que de leur manière de penser le travail. Entre ce qu’ils appellent le strict et le social, les agents pénitentiaires évoquent de profonds malaises professionnels, mais aussi identitaires. Cette thèse, qui suit deux autres de nos travaux sur le champ pénitentiaire francophone belge en réforme, s’interroge sur les rapports qui existent entre ces tensions identitaires et les engagements en formation d’agents qui sont en fonction dans la partie cellulaire (lieu de vie des détenus et lieu de travail de ces salariés). Par cette recherche, qualitative et monographique, après avoir posé la réflexion sur les « pourquoi » des engagements en formation de salariés, en formation professionnelle continue et auto déterminée, nous avons souhaité mieux comprendre si, et comment, l’engagement en formation permet, ou non, à ces salariés de résoudre, au moins temporairement, leurs dilemmes professionnels et identitaires pour soi, mais aussi pour autrui. / “Stretched between double constrain and double injunction. Case study”, LEROY Joël / Supervision: Professor Étienne BOURGEOIS (PhD)The “current” world and its social or legal changes obviously impact on this “little world within the bigger” which is the penitentiary one.Important breakthroughs in the last decades, e.g. regarding man’s and detainee’s right or respect culture, enforce themselves, step by step, to the rules and workers from the penitentiary world applying them. In this way, discrepancies which have always existed between institution aims and mission aims, between intern safety and extern safety or warding prerogatives and counseling needed to reinsert detainees, widen. We noticed how international society-bound tensions that are currently fiercely debated in Belgian jailhouses pass from the macro level (the one of the super structure) to the micro level (the one of the working individual). To the experiencing workers this lead to a profound change of professional gestures and their mental representation of the work. Considering both what they call the strict (le strict) and the social (le social), penitentiary wardens talk of deep professional bewilderments as well as identity crisis.This thesis, which follows two other works of ours on the reforming Belgian penitentiary world, poses the question of the possible links between those identity tensions and the wardens training commitment who work in the cell part of jailhouses (place where the detainees live and where the wardens work).By this qualitative and monographic study, after having thought about the “whys” of the training commitment of workers subscribing to auto-determined and progressive professional trainings, we intended to better understand whether and how commitment to trainings allows or not those wardens at least temporarily to solve for their own welfare as well as for others their professional and identity dilemma. / "Entre doble instrucción y doble restricción. LEROY Joël / Dirección: Profesor Étienne BOURGEOIS El mundo de "hoy" y sus transformaciones sociales o legales que impactan naturalmente este " pequeño mundo en el gran mundo", que es el de la prisión.Los avances significativos en las últimas décadas, por ejemplo, en el campo de los derechos humanos y de los detenidos o la cultura del respeto se imponen, poco a poco, a las reglas y a los hombres de las prisiones donde se aplican. De este modo, las diferencias que siempre han existido entre los objetivos del sistema y los objetivos de la misión, entre seguridad interna y seguridad externa o entre las necesidades de atención y apoyo en la reinserción de los presos, se profundizan.Hemos podido observar cómo las tensiones sociales internaciones que están al orden del día en las prisiones belgas infiltran desde el nivel macro (la de la superestructura) al nivel micro (el del trabajo individual).En consecuencia, para los trabajadores resulta un cambio profundo, tanto en actos profesionales como su forma de pensar en el trabajo. Entre lo que ellos llaman lo estricto y lo social, los agentes de la prisión no solo evocan profundos malestares profesionales, sino también de identidad.En esta tesis, después de los otros dos trabajos sobre el ámbito carcelario francófono belga, nos interrogamos sobre las relaciones que existen entre estas tensiones de identidad y los compromisos a la formación de los agentes que trabajan en la parte de las celdas (lugar donde viven los presos y lugar de trabajo de los agentes).A través de esta investigación cualitativa y monográfica y después de plantear la reflexión sobre el "por qué" del compromiso de formación de los trabajadores a la formación profesional continuada y la auto-determinación, queríamos comprender mejor si, y cómo, el compromiso a la formación permite o no, a estos trabajadores resolver, al menos temporalmente, sus dilemas e identidad profesional y también con los demás.
