說唐家將小說之家/國想像及其承衍研究 / The study of the imagination flows from state to family in the novels of family of warriors for Tang Dynasty (說唐家將小說), and its inheritance李佩蓉, Lee, Pei-jung Unknown Date (has links)
說唐家將小說包括《說唐後傳》、《說唐三傳》、《反唐演義》與《粉妝樓》四部小說。系列小說前承說唐系列小說,書寫題材由「君王」轉向「家將」,呈現了講史小說發展脈絡本身由「國」而「家」主題更迭的動態移轉過程。又說唐家將小說之題材於史有據,再依民間想像改編創想,承衍脈絡淵遠流長、橫跨古今,其間的家/國想像或合乎正統、或顛覆遊戲,形成官/民、虛/實等等多元對話空間。
論文第二章先討論「前之所承」,梳理小說成書之前,由官方史傳而至民間之平話、詞話、雜劇、傳奇等作品。民間說唱曲藝受官方史傳影響甚深,保持了系列小說國家宏偉敘述的「講史」特色;戲曲搬演深入民間,促成了「離家/榮歸」的情節結構,講史系統與民間戲曲的特色雜揉、交融於小說文本之中,形成說唐家將小說的獨特體質。
論文之第三、第四章進入核心論題,分從「情感關係」與「空間配置」探討小說文本之家/國想像,呼應影響家/國認同之血緣與地緣概念。第三章剖析小說中親子代際、男女性別與敵我陣營關係,發現看似穩固的倫理規範之下,其實隱藏了諸多不盡平靜的衝突與角力。第四章探察系列小說「家、國間遭到架空、戰場空間卻誇張膨脹」的空間配置情形。發現「寒窯」等破碎的家屋意象充斥文本,國朝空間更遭擠壓,只枯澀地擔負故事之間的串場任務;倒是邊境戰場含納各種家、國互動的情感因子,成為民間自掌定義、恣意戲耍的狂歡空間。
第五章再論「後之所衍」,以「個案研究」方式觀察臺灣戒嚴時期由楊麗花領銜主演之電視歌仔戲《薛剛》、二十一世紀初國光劇團創作之新編京劇《新編樊梨花》與本論文寫作當下於東森電視臺上映之電視連續劇《薛仁貴傳奇》三種現代承衍作品,探察系列小說進入現代之後,如何透過情節改編新詮改造家/國想像內涵,使更切合現代人的生命處境,故事持續傳講搬演。
第六章為總結,提出「完成承衍脈絡探討」、「深化家/國想像內涵」與「重估系列小說於小說發展史脈絡中的定位」等三項研究成果。 / The “Novels about family of warriors in Tang dynasty”(說唐家將小說) include “Shou Tang Hou Zhuan”(說唐後傳), ”Shuo Tang San Zhuan”(說唐三傳), “Fan Tang Yian Yi”(反唐演義), “Fen Zhuang Lou”(粉妝樓). Although those novels were combined with folk tales, they were also based on history facts. Thus, there are some opposite views in those novels, such as official vision verses folk culture, reality faces unreality. They inherit the “Novels about Tang dynasty”(說唐系列小說), but the subject matter transforms from the emperor to the family warriors, which reflects the theme transformation flow in history-based-novels. It leaves state and get closer to home.
Related texts before the novels have been composed were collated in chapter 2. We can see those stories appeared in folk art “Quyi” (曲藝) were deeply effected by official history story. History vision still remains. At the same time, some Chinese operas have formed the basic structure of these novels, which is “leaving family/ coming home proudly”. Chinese opera and Quyi are two important sources of those novels we referred.
Relationship and space arrangement are discussed in chapter 3 and chapter 4 to analyze the imagination of state and of family in the novels. In the study of chapter 3, it seems that conflicts in the novels happen under a stable requirement of ethic. However, code of ethics are shown only in appearance. In chapter 4, we will find out that war spaces are almost overstated, while space of home and state are ignored.
Three case studies are put in Chapter 5. They have one thing in common: they are three modern works of art which inherits the series of novels. In Chapter 5, the study focus on how those novels has been revised to adapt nowadays culture.
The essay is trying to achieve the following statement from the ” Novels of family warriors in Tang Dynasty”(說唐家將小說): further study to the heritage of tradition Chinese novels; further understanding of the imagination of family and state; revaluate the position of these novels in the history of Chinese traditional novels.

A Study of Zou yan shu, Unearthed from Zhangjiashan Han Dynasty Tomb 247Zhou, Min-hwa 07 February 2012 (has links)
From December 1983 to January 1984, 228 bamboo strips were unearthed in M247 at Jiangling, Hubei. These strips contained a collection of criminal cases called Zou Yan Shu, as well as 526 strips containing Laws of the 2nd Year. This discovery effectively patched a gap in judicature during the transition from the Qin to the Han. Beginning in 1985, a research group, Li Xueqin, and Peng Hao, began publishing the content of these strips in Wenwu. Soon scholars all over the world began researching the strips. In 2008, the Bamboo and Silk Manuscript Center at Wuhan University used infrared imaging (as well as referencing Cai Wanjin¡¦s revisions of the text and the research of other scholars) to make sense of a very muddled text. This also brought about many breakthroughs in research on the Zou Yan Shu. Now scholars understand much more concerning judicature during the Qin-Han period and how it differed from that of pre-Qin times. Despite this, few scholars have attempted a comprehensive analysis of the 22 cases found in this work. There is much research to be done on legal terminology in the text, the judiciary writing process in Zou Yan Shu, the reasons for compiling these 22 cases, knowledge of judiciary principles during Qin-Han gained from these cases, and several keys to unjust, falsified, and mistaken cases.
This dissertation attempts to utilized prior understanding of the scholarly community to systematically and comprehensively analyzing all 22 cases and to explicate the meaning of the title Zou Yan Shu, judiciary terminology, the judiciary process, adjudicatory results, and reasons for the unjust, falsified, and mistaken cases.
It was discovered that the purpose for this compilation was to educate law-enforcement officials and portrays the message that from receiving the initial report to apprehending and trying the criminal to gathering evidence to issuing the final judgment, if the principle ¡§all is decided by the law¡¨ is not strictly adhered to then mistakes are easily made. In addition, the way documents are written in Zhou Yan Shu is closely related to the judiciary process from the county-level all the way to the Commandant of Justice, revealing how this process worked at the various levels.

The second wave of Chinese art film : film system, film style, and alternative film culture of the 1990sYang, Li 16 November 2010 (has links)
This dissertation examines the development of Chinese art film in the 1990s. It explores the mechanisms that were conducive to the emergence of this art wave and its representative cinematic styles. Art film was a historically underdeveloped film practice in China, especially under the mass line-dominated Socialist film system. I argue that Chinese art cinema was fundamentally defined by the second art wave, which was flanked by the first art wave (the Fifth Generation Cinema) of the 1980s, and the full capitalization of the film industry in the new millennium. The key to understanding the second art wave was the paradoxical industrial process of the Socialist film system reform of the 1990s. The controlled top-down reform made the emergence of independent production possible while at the same time denying its legitimacy. As the result, the Chinese art film production breathed new life but was pushed from the mainstream to the realm of the alternative. In alliance with other youth subculture phenomena of the time, such as rock music and avant-garde art, art film came to be defined as a distinctive position in the field of Chinese film production in terms of the mode of production (mostly independent), distribution (international film festivals), and film style. Three styles are examined in detail in this dissertation: the documentary-inspired new realist style represented by films of Jia Zhangke, the modernistic expressionist style represented by films of He Jianjun, Zhang Ming, and others, and the style that falls in-between the new realist and expressionist style represented by early films of Zhang Yuan, Lou Ye, and Wang Xiaoshuai. / text

He depicts a lot of characters who struggle with their lives, and he works to explore one common question throughout all of his films: “where do I belong?” Jia Zhangke uses unique filmmaking techniques in order to emphasize the feelings of people losing their sense of home. In this thesis, I am going to analyze his cinematic style from three perspectives: photography, musical scores and metaphors. The Trust Study – Transition Us Together: Evaluating the Impact of A Parent- And Adolescent-Centered Transition Toolkit On Transition Readiness In Patients With Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis And Childhood-Onset Systemic Lupus ErythematosusHeera, Simran 05 1900 (has links)
Aging adolescents with rheumatic disease adopt responsibility for disease management from parents. Education on transition care is usually provided to patients by healthcare providers or parents. However, parent-focused transition resources are sparse with limited understanding of parental role and involvement during transition. After providing both parent and adolescent with the Transition Toolkit (parent-centered transition pamphlet, 5 domains of transition readiness roadmap, tip sheets) to support transition to adult care, we aimed to i) determine the change in patient’s transition readiness, using the Transition-Q, ii) explore the influence of parent-adolescent relationships on transition readiness, using the Parent-Adolescent Communication Scale (PACS), and iii) obtain feedback on the Toolkit’s effectiveness, using a questionnaire. A prospective cohort study of patients 14-18 years was conducted at McMaster Children’s Hospital rheumatology transition clinic (includes pediatric rheumatologists, allied health, and the adult rheumatologist patients see post-transfer). Participant demographics, disease characteristics, transition readiness scores (Transition-Q, max 100), and parent-adolescent communication scores (PACS, max 100) were collected. After obtaining 2 Transition-Q scores from routine clinical care prior to enrollment, the Toolkit was shared with participants, and 2 follow-up Transition-Q scores were collected. Generalized estimating equation analyses were performed to determine the Toolkit’s impact on transition readiness and explore the parent-adolescent relationship and communication quality. Subgroup analyses were conducted by sex. A questionnaire was used to obtain Toolkit feedback. Of 21 patients, 19 completed one post-intervention Transition-Q and 16 completed two. Transition-Q scores increased over time and the rate of increase doubled after the Toolkit was shared with adolescents and parents (β=7.8, P<0.0 and β=15.5, P<0.0, respectively). Transition readiness did not seem to be influenced by the quality of communication between parent and child. Feedback from questionnaire responses found the Toolkit to be a helpful resource but standardization of transition programs and further investigation into parent-adolescent relationships, gender differences, and intervention sustainability is needed. / Thesis / Master of Science Rehabilitation Science (MSc) / Aging youths with rheumatic disease adopt the responsibility of disease management from parents. However, few resources to educate parents on transition and transition support exist. After giving patients and parents a Transition Toolkit, we aimed to i) determine change in patient’s transition readiness, ii) explore the influence of parent-adolescent relationships on transition readiness, and iii) obtain feedback on Toolkit use. Twenty-one study participants were recruited. Participant demographics, transition readiness scores, and parent-adolescent communication scores were collected. Transition-Q scores were collected before and after Toolkit provision. Analyses were performed to determine Toolkit impact and influence of parent-adolescent communication on transition readiness. Toolkit feedback from parents and adolescents were obtained through a questionnaire. Transition-Q scores increased at each follow-up, with the greatest increase after the Toolkit was shared. Parent-adolescent relationships did not influence transition readiness. Toolkit feedback suggests digital reminders to improve long-term retention of transition education. Future studies with greater patient diversity are recommended.

[E]scape : anonymat et politique à l'ère de la mobilisation globale: passages chinois pour la communauté qui vientBordeleau, Erik 04 1900 (has links)
Le thème de la mobilisation totale est au cœur de la réflexion actuelle sur le renouvellement des modes de subjectivation et des manières d’être-ensemble. En arrière-plan, on trouve la question de la compatibilité entre les processus vitaux humains et la modernité, bref, la question de la viabilité du processus de civilisation occidental. Au cœur du diagnostic: l’insuffisance radicale de la fiction de l’homo oeconomicus, modèle de l’individu privé sans liens sociaux et souffrant d’un déficit de sphère. La « communauté qui vient » (Agamben), la « politisation de l’existence » (Lopez Petit) et la création de « sphères régénérées » (Sloterdijk) nomment autant de tentatives pour penser le dépassement de la forme désormais impropre et insensée de l’individualité. Mais comment réaliser ce dépassement? Ou de manière plus précise : quelle traversée pour amener l’individu privé à opérer ce dépassement?
Ce doctorat s’organise autour d’une urgence focale : [E]scape. Ce concept suggère un horizon de fuite immanent : il signe une sortie hors de l’individu privé et trace un plan d’idéalité permettant d’effectuer cette sortie. Concrètement, ce concept commande la production d’une série d’analyses théoriques et artistiques portant sur des penseurs contemporains tels que Foucault, Deleuze ou Sloterdijk, l’album Kid A de Radiohead ainsi que sur le cinéma et l’art contemporain chinois (Jia Zhangke, Wong Kar-Wai, Wong Xiaoshuai, Lou Ye, Shu Yong, Huang Rui, Zhang Huan, Zhu Yu, etc.). Ces analyses sont conçues comme autant de passages ou itinéraires de désubjectivation. Elles posent toutes, d’une manière ou d’une autre, le problème du commun et de l’être-ensemble, sur le seuil des non-lieux du capitalisme global. Ces itinéraires se veulent liminaux, c’est-à-dire qu’ils se constituent comme passages sur la ligne d’un dehors et impliquent une mise en jeu éthopoïétique. Sur le plan conceptuel, ils marquent résolument une distance avec le paradigme de la politique identitaire et la critique des représentations interculturelles. / The theme of total mobilization is central to the contemporary reflection on the renewing of subjectivation processes and ways of being-together. In the background, we find the question of the compatibility between the human vital processes and modernity, or in other words, the question of the viability of Western civilization. At the core of the diagnosis: the radical insufficiency of the homo oeconomicus’s fiction, model of the private individual without meaningful social links and suffering from a sphere deficit. The “coming community” (Agamben), the “politization of existence” (Lopez Petit) and the creation of “regenerated spheres” (Sloterdijk) name as many attempts to think how to go beyond the henceforth improper and senseless form of individuality. But how are we to realize this overcoming? Or more precisely: which crossing to bring the private individual to operate this overcoming?
This work is organized around a focal urgency: [E]scape. This concept suggest an immanent horizon of flight: it signs a way out of the private individual and draws a plan of ideality allowing to effectuate this exit. Concretely, this concept commands the production of a series of theoretical an artistic analysis of contemporary thinkers like Foucault, Deleuze and Sloterdijk, of Radiohead’s Kid A Album, and of different Chinese contemporary filmmakers and artists (Jia Zhangke, Wong Kar-Wai, Wong Xiaoshuai, Lou Ye, Shu Yong, Huang Rui, Zhang Huan, Zhu Yu, etc.) These analyses are conceived as passages or itineraries of desubjectivation. They all posit, in one way or the other, the problem of the common and of the being-together, on the threshold of global capitalism’s non-places. These itineraries are meant to be liminal, i.e. they constitute as many passages on the line and imply an ethopoietic mise en jeu. Conceptually speaking, they mark a distance with the identity politics paradigm and the critics of intercultural representations.
