Ledarskap : Kan ett kristet ledarskap och idrottslärarens ledarskap berika varandra? / Leadership : Can Christian Leadership and Physical Education Leadership Enrich Each Other?

Petersson, Samuel January 2010 (has links)

My purpose with this essay has been to investigate whether Christian leadership and Psychical Education (PE) leadership can enrich each other. Thru literature studies I examined the issues: What is the meaning of Christian leadership and what is the meaning of leadership for a PE teacher? The chapter stressed the importance of discovering your own leadership style within Christian leadership, and having a clear vision from God. The leadership of the PE teacher aimed more at strengthening the students and having a good attitude towards them. The attitude towards students is critical to the social climate. I selected three PE teachers and two priests for the quality interview. I showed the advantages and disadvantages of qualitative interview and I believe validity was good. The results section examined: Can Christian leadership and PE leadership enrich each other? One of the main points was what one of the respondents said: It´s interesting with the dialogue and talks. Through conversation between church and school, leadership could be enriched to a higher degree, since Christian leadership is clearer in the ethics questions and the PE focuses more on teambuilding. The conclusions I drew was that different kinds of leadership can enrich in different ways in the leadership puzzle, which is solved by individuals. Through conversation and dialogue we can learn from each other and grow as leaders. I have in this essay shown that an exchange between PE teachers and the Christian leadership would enrich both sides.

Religious Innovation in Southern Sweden. : A case study on the congregation Kingdom Center Sweden.

Törnblom, Philip January 2022 (has links)
Kingdom center Sweden is a small-town Pentecostal community located in the Swedish province of Scania. What, on a surface level, distinguishes this community from other Christian communities in Sweden is that the congregation operates a cowboy-themed wilderness center. Religious communities that operate businesses is not in itself a novel occurrence; instead, it is the cowboy theme in particular that potentially alludes to a phenomenon, novel to a Swedish context, that is, cowboy Christianity. Thus, this essay centers on examining if and how the congregation can be understood as a representation of cowboy Christianity in Sweden. In addition to this, a theological reading is performed in order to further examine the roots of the congregation. The results of the examination suggest that Kingdom Center Sweden, outwardly, shares characteristics with other movements within the cowboy Christian milieu; this, based on images in the congregation’s e-book and on their YouTube accounts in which members of the congregation both dress in cowboy-themed clothes when appearing as a congregation, and to some extent has appropriated practices such as baptism in a horse through and wedding services on horseback – all of which has been previously connected to the cowboy Christian phenomena. Moreover, the information on their YouTube account and e-book brings out how the congregation promotes itself as existing within a cowboy Christian milieu, which consists of cowboy churches, rodeo ministries and profiles within the Christian cowboy community. However, the analysis of the theological material suggests that this, seemingly isolated case of Cowboy Christianity in Sweden, is not merely the result of cowboy Christianity mushrooming from the Great Plains to rural Scania. Instead, the examined material suggests that, theologically, the movement kept it ties with the prosperity theology associated with faith movements and the Swedish Word of Life. Thus, suggesting that after the congregation was excluded from the Swedish faith community, they appropriated the material culture and traits of the cowboy Christian phenomena. Hence, rooting the congregation in another contemporary offshoot of Christianity.

Svenska kyrkan och sekularisering : en studie över prästers olika uppfattningar

Fällström, Åke January 2004 (has links)

Svensson, Jennilie January 2015 (has links)
The purpose of this thesis is to analyse the pins from Bunge church, in order to investigate how what they can tell us about the burials inside the church. During the post medieval and early modern period pins were used to fasten the burial shrouds, and to stabilize the fabric on the inside of the coffin lids. Therefore these pins appear in grave contexts, and thus offer possibilities for interpretation of burials. The pins have been ordered according to the shape of the needlehead. A total of 697 pins have been analysed, amongst which four main pin types have been detected. The next step in the study was a chorological study where the pins positions were analysed in comparison to other finds such as craniums and coffin handles. Comparisons were also made with the placement of wall paintings, furnishings and the natural light intake in the church. The spatiality and dating of the pins have been used for the interpretation of the graves temporal and physical placement.

Nationalism i fredens tjänst : Svenska skolornas fredsförening, fredsfostran och historieundervisning 1919-1939

Nilsson, Ingela January 2015 (has links)
The overall aim of this thesis is to contribute to the field of research that examines the relationship between peace efforts and nationalism. The relationship will be studied from perspectives of educa- tional history and history didactics. More precisely, by focusing on history education, this disserta- tion will analyse the demands for a comprehensive peace education in schools that were put forward by a long list of actors in the Western world during the interwar period, and as such discuss to what extent, and in what ways, nationalism influenced the content and design of this peace education. The main theoretical framework of this thesis is the concept of nationalism, and the position of nationalism as a hegemonic ideology during the first half of the 20th century. Another central un- derstanding is the assumption that the educational system, specifically history education, played a central role in creating, maintaining and strengthening collective identities as well as the prevailing ideological hegemony. The empirical investigation has been limited to studying the demands and ideas presented by Nordic peace educators, mainly The Swedish School Peace League (SSF), regar- ding peace-educating history teaching. As such, the empirical aim has been to investigate the SSF’s views on the relationship between nationalism and peace education, i.e., how internationalism and pacifism were to be taught, as well as how this understanding affected the League’s ideas regarding history teaching. The results have also been analysed from a gender perspective, based on the as- sumption that contemporary notions of gender in relation to nationalism, war and peace in different ways had an impact upon the content and format of the proposed peace education. The study shows that the SSF regarded nationalism as the very foundation and prerequisite for any peace education. SSF thus tried to reconcile nationalism, internationalism and pacifism under one and the same ideological approach; “patriotic pacifism”, which in turn strongly influenced the endorsed peace-educating history teaching. Furthermore, the study highlights boys’ central role in the peace education project, which essentially set the long-term goal of creating a new pacifist and internationally oriented male ideal and yet, despite these aims, continued an intimate association with the “national”. Key concepts in SSF’s peace education were unite and supplement, and thereby they redefined central meanings of hegemonic nationalism. SSF’s patriotic pacifism and its impact on the association's demands for a peace-educating history teaching can best be described as an “intra-hegemonic counterforce”. / Historia utan gräns: Den internationella historieboksrevisionen 1919-2009
