To do so, we start from the Social Psychology and the concept of Identity as the central category of analysis, considering to understand not only the phenomenon in its instrumental aspect, but, all the context in which the individual that uses psychoactive substances is inserted, in the tradition vs. modernity conflicts, of the market of consumption, of the diagnostic and treatments; with the proposal to present a contribution in such a way theoretical as political. The research was carried through from the narrative of the participant life history, which was recorded and transcript with the consent of the interviewed. While analyzing the life history narrative, we focused on happenings immediately before, during and after the participation on the therapeutic workshop of theater, asking the participant to tell several aspects of his life and not only the one who made the person search for drug dependency treatment. What has changed in his family, social, professional and individual life, observing how has this process developed. The dissertation is divided in five chapters that approach several aspects in which the individuals who use psychoactive substances are inserted. In this way, this work weaves some reflections on the question of drug usage and the possibility of change through the therapeutic workshop of theater, as well as it offers subsidy to discuss the Post Conventional Identities (Habermas) and the possibilities of emancipation in Modernity.

No. of bitstreams: 1 Alessandro de Oliveira Campos.pdf: 629690 bytes, checksum: 410b71a9f2c7db8d4139976a07b62b83 (MD5) Previous issue date: 2007-02-02 / Conselho Nacional de Desenvolvimento Científico e Tecnológico / This dissertation investigates the identity of autonomous activists in the Global Resistance movement. We begin with a central category of Social Psychology, the conceptual use of identity-metamorphosis-emancipation sintagma. The proposal arose in the inquiry for the political Identity of the autonomous activist as a transformation process for the emancipation of the subject in a dominated world. This transformation occurs on the path to what we call Post-Conventional Identity. For this observation an analysis was performed of the history of the life of a member of the São Paulo Independent Media Center, as well as field work including participation in meetings and acts of autonomous nature. We perceive that nobody is born an activist, but passes through a process that leads him to this place. To think of the autonomous activist as a role is a contradiction, but to consider the activist identity as an I who searches for autonomy and recognizes the diverse actions for another political and social reality, which with new forms of existence come to gain legitimacy for the struggles in search of emancipation. The history of life of the autonomous activist passes through different processes that can take it to an amplification of given values and recognitions being more cooperation than competition. This work searches to weave reflections on the different possibilities to be political beyond the institutions and traditional parties / Esta dissertação busca investigar a identidade do ativista autonomista envolvido no Movimento de Resistência Global.

Goethe's Vision of Natur during the Italian Journey

Ewing, John Paul 2009 December 1900 (has links)
The following project will examine the scientific, metaphysical, and aesthetic themes connected to Goethe's vision of Natur during and surrounding the years of his famed Italian Journey. Goethe's progressing conceptualization of the Urpflanze during this period, as witnessed in his autobiographical Italienische Reise and the Versuch, die Metamorphose der Pflanzen zu erklaren, will be of special concern because of its pertinence to a number of vital natural scientific themes in Goethe's scientific work. I will also trace the progression of these themes over time as seen in Goethe's related theories of the intermaxillary bone and of the morphology of plant organs so as to maintain that the Italian Journey may be seen as a period not only of literary revitalization as commonly cited, but also of scientific progress in connection with Goethe's deepening understanding of Natur as well as its inherent laws and archetypal nature. The first chapter will introduce the project's problem in detail as well as the textual and critical obstructions associated with the project. I will maintain in Chapter II that Goethe's biography during the 1780s shows a systematic progression in the understanding of Natur in his scientific projects and in the Reise, which also helps to demonstrate that Goethe's Journey was a period during which Goethe was able to develop, in greater detail than heretofore, his metaphysical vision of Natur. In Chapter III, I will investigate the primary textual material on Goethe?s notion of the Urpflanze within the Italienische Reise and its resulting extension in his 1790 study of plant morphology, the Metamorphose der Pflanzen. Chapter IV will discuss the topic of the Eins in Nature and anschauende Urteilskraft as detected in Goethe's scientific writings. Chapter V will continue and conclude this argument by linking Richards' argument regarding "Romantic biologists" to Goethe?s natural science during the time of the Italian Journey, thus making a connection between Kunst and Natur in the Italienische Reise and in Goethe's scientific projects during and surrounding the Journey.

Zummo, Raphaël 18 April 2018 (has links)

Poetica della metamorfosi e poetica della conversione: scelte formali e modelli del divenire nella letteratura / Poetics of metamorphosis and poetics of conversion: formal choices and examples of the eternal change in the history of literature

BISI, MONICA 17 February 2009 (has links)
This work aims at offering a new perspective from which it is possible to read the dialectic between the heathen-mythical culture and the Christian culture that runs through the whole literary Italian tradition. Transformation is the theme in common between the two visions of the world, it is the leading figure of the whole research and it assumes different forms. It takes the name of metamorphosis in the mythical culture and of conversion in the Christian culture. The novelty of this perspective consists in the attempt of a rhetorical reading of these two phenomena, in order to formalize two kinds of poetics., that could correspond to the theme of metamorphosis and conversion. Applying to the large materials offered by Divina Commedia, Gerusalemme liberata, Adone, Promessi sposi, tragedies by Manzoni and some poems from Alcyone by d’Annunzio the instruments deriving from the anthropological studies about archaic sacrifices by Girard and from the intuitions of Bottiroli about literary transposition of some logical schemes, which are typical of the Western culture, it was possible to notice a constant correspondence between forms of contents ‘metamorphosis’ and ‘conversion’ and the particular forms of the expression, with which they have been represented. Once they have been pointed out, the particular forms of expression have been codified in figures of speech, so that it was possible to indicate the overall scheme of the antithesis as the proper sing of the poetics of metamorphosis and the figure of correctio as the feature of the poetics of conversion.
