Introduktion: Strävandet efter ett gemensamt mål utgör grunden för ett kollaborerat samarbete och bristande kommunikation ger märkbara effekter. Operationssjuksköterskan ansvarar även för samverkan och en god kommunikation med operationsteamet och andra vårdenheter. Detta för att tillgodose kontinuitet för patientens vård. Teamets olika professioner och kompetenser skapar ett gemensamt vårdande till förmån för patienten. Syfte: Syftet är att belysa operationssjuksköterskans erfarenhet av kommunikationen inom den perioperativa vården. Metod: Litteraturstudie med en integrativ översikt. 14 studier valdes ut och systematisk artikelsökning utfördes i relevanta databaser. Resultat: Kommunikationen har påvisats kunna ske verbalt eller icke-verbalt för att förmedla information. Operationssjuksköterskans erfarenheter av beteenden och bemötanden har haft en inverkan på hur kommunikationen har påverkats för patientens vårdande. Missförstånd i kommunikationen medförde otrygghet, kulturella skillnader och frångående av rutiner som hotar patientsäkerheten. Konklusion: Flera olika professioner ska kunna samarbeta, kommunicera och tillsammans ansvara för att vården som ges är patientsäker. Med förbättrad och stödjande kultur för vårdpersonalen på operationssalarna och ökat lärande inom IPC och IPL finns möjlighet till förbättrad kommunikation och patientsäkerhet. / Introduction: The pursuit of a common goal forms the basis of collaborative cooperation and lack of communication produces noticeable effects. The operating room nurse is also responsible for cooperation and good communication with the operating team and other care units so that continuity is ensured for the patient's care. The team's various professions and competencies create joint care for the benefit of the patient. Aim: The purpose is to shed light on the operating room nurse's experience of communication within perioperative care. Method: Literature study with an integrative overview. 14 studies were selected and a systematic article search was performed in relevant databases. Results: Communication has been shown to be able to take place verbally or non-verbally to convey information. The operating room nurse's experiences of behaviors and attitudes have had an impact on how communication has been affected for the patient's care. Misunderstandings in communication led to insecurity, cultural differences and deviations from routines that threatened patient safety. Conclusion: Several different professions must be able to cooperate, communicate and together be responsible for ensuring that the care that is given, is patient safe. With improved and supportive culture for the nursing staff in the operating rooms and increased learning in IPC and IPL, there is an opportunity for improved communication and patient safety.

Var tredje person i Sverige kan under sin livstid drabbas av en cancersjukdom. När en familjmedlem får diagnosen cancer påverkar detta oftast livet för dem som är närstående. Forskning visar att de närstående upplever olika förändringar i livet. Det uppstår oftast känslor som ångest, hjälplöshet och maktlöshet. Syftet med denna litteraturöversikt var att beskriva hur närstående till personer med cancer upplever sin förändrade livssituation. Informationskällor använda i analysen är 13 artiklar som beskriver närståendes upplevelser. Resultatet presenteras i fyra olika huvudteman med tillhörande underteman. Dessa fyra teman är Förändrad livssituation, Maktlöshet och hjälplöshet, Stöd är betydelsefullt och Behov av information. I resultatet framgår att relationer mellan familjmedlemmar antingen fördjupas eller försämras. Behovet av information och stöd visar sig vara stort hos den närstående. Det är av betydelse att resultatet används i vården så att sjuksköterskor samt annan vårdpersonal blir uppmärksamma på närståendes upplevelse. Research shows that family caregivers experience various changes through life. These changes are often accompanied by feelings of anxiety, helplessness, and powerlessness. The purpose with this literature review was to describe how caregivers of persons with cancer experience their changed situation of life. The sources of information used in analysis are 13 articles who describe the experiences of caregivers. The result is presented in four main themes with sub themes. These four themes are Changed life situation, Powerlessness and helplessness, Support is important and Need for information. In the presented result it is clear that relations between family members is either deepened or worsen. The need for information and support has showed itself to be of great value for family members. It is of importance to implement the result in healthcare so that registered nurses and other staff can be attentive to the experiences of the relatives. This knowledge can help nurses and other personnel to offer better opportunities to give support to these relatives.

Aspekter som påverkar sjuksköterskors ledarskap som är verksamma inom psykiatrisk vård / Aspects that influence nurses´ leadership who are working in psychiatric care

Bakgrund: Inom psykiatrisk vård samverkar olika sorters team där sjuksköterskors ledarskap påverkas/påverkar olika grupprocesser. Specialistsjuksköterskor, inriktning psykiatrisk vård har ett ansvar medan sjuksköterskor på grundnivå utför ledarskapet utifrån deras vilja och förmåga. Kunskapsbrist råder vilka aspekter som påverkar sjuköterskors ledarskap inom psykiatrisk vård. Syfte: Syfte med föreliggande strukturerade litteraturöversikt är att beskriva aspekter som påverkar sjuksköterskors ledarskap som är verksamma inom psykiatrisk vård. Metod: Metoden systematisk litteraturöversikt med kvalitativ design användes och analysprocessen bestod av tematisk analys. Resultatartiklarna utgick från kvalitativa- och kvantitativa metoder. Resultat: Sex teman och sex kategorier framkom; Organisationsstruktur med dess inflytande av genomförandeprocess och kommunikation. Vårdande kultur, med stödjande ledarskap och chefers betydelse för sjuksköterskors ledarskap. Egna rollers förtydligande, konstaterade mandatets inverkan. Sammarbetsrelationer, blev synlig genom olika yrkesroller i teamet. Erfarenheter, framträdde i form av tolkning av vårdsituationer och moralisk stress och dess betydels för ledarskapet. Utbildningar påvisade bl.a. utbildningar och utbildningsnivåers inverkan. Diskussion: Den teoretiska utgångspunkten Caritativt ledarskap av Bondas (2003) synliggjorde sjuksköterskans ledarskap i betydelse av tesen människa. Caritativt ledarskap ställdes i relation till de fem teserna, människa, caritas motiv, värdighet, mätning och mening med hälso- och sjukvård, och relation till den vårdande kulturen vilket förtydligade hur sjuksköterskor ledarskap inom psykiatrisk vård kan stödjas inom vårdande organisationer. Resultatet indikerar ett outforskat fält avseende sjuksköterskors ledarskap och där flera aspekter kan få betydelse för framtida forskning inom ledarskap för sjuksköterskor som är verksamma inom psykiatrisk vård oavsett deras utbildningsgrad. / Background: In psychiatric care different kind of team interacts where nurses’ leadership affected / affects various group processes. Advanced nurses, targeting mental health services have a responsibility while nurses at undergraduate level performing leadership based on their willingness and ability. Lack of knowledge is what aspects affecting nurses’ leadership in psychiatric care. Aim: The purpose of this structured literature review is to describe aspects that influence nurses' leadership working in psychiatric care. Method: The method systematic literature review with a qualitative design was used and the analysis process consisted of thematic analysis. The result from the articles was based on qualitative and quantitative methods. Result: Six theme and six category emerged; Organizational structure and its influence of the implementation process and communication. Caring culture where supportive leadership and managers of importance for nursing leadership. Clarification of the own Health careers roles, stated mandate impact. Cooperative relationships became visible through different roles in the team. Experience, emerged in the form of interpretation of the care situations and moral stress and its importance for leadership. Education influenced further development and inter alia of the influence of various training and educational levels. Discussion: The theoretical point Caritative leadership of Bondas (2003) made ​​it visible se nursing leadership in the importance of the five theses. Caritative leadership was used in relation to the five theses, human, caritas motive, dignity, measurement and meaning in health care, and relationship to the caring culture which clarified how the leadership of psychiatric nurses in psychiatric care can be supported within caring organizations. The results indicate an unexplored field regarding nurses' leadership and where several aspects may be of importance for future research in leadership for nurses working in mental health care regardless of their education level.

(v AJ) Introduction to Issue: The examined issue of the thesis is the influence of burnout and its development on the sexuality of women in health care in emergency care. Since there are a few nurses working in hospital facilities, I think they are in great danger of burnout. Therefore, it is necessary to investigate this issue and discover possible solutions to avoid burnout. The objective of the thesis is to find out whether burnout syndrome and its development influence the sexuality of non-medical health workers. Methodology: The research was conducted by means of a quantitative method using the online questionnaire on the website Ošetřovatelství.info. The data were collected using two questionnaires, the first focused on burnout (the Czech version of the Shirom and Melamed scale) and the second, which investigated the sexual function of the respondents (KRATOCHVÍL, Stanislav. Treatment of Sexual Dysfunctions). All nurses and female paramedics working in intensive care were included in the research sample. Results: The results were processed in Microsoft Excel and the resulting averages in each region were compared with one another. The total research sample is 110 nurses and female medical rescuers. Appreciating the Golden Hour: A Comparative Interdisciplinary Study

Within the health care, many medical professionals know about the critical time restraints for provisions of care within their discipline, but do not know the term "The Golden Hour". The Golden Hour is a term indicating the universal time restraint found within every area of health care and more specifically, every area of nursing. The term and concept represented by it should be recognized to better the outcomes of our patients. Although the Golden Hour typically indicates a 60-minute period of time, various settings recognize shorter and longer periods during which specific actions must be taken to assure positive patient outcomes. To meet this aim, this thesis will review studies related to outcomes as associated with time critical interventions that could be categorized by "The Golden Hour". To meet the goal, a search of CINAHL, MEDLINE, PsychINFO, and ScienceDirect databases was conducted. Findings of the search revealed that while the term is not widely used, the concept of time sensitive care is found in many areas of Health Care and, specifically, within multiple sub-disciplines of nursing.

O gerenciamento de recursos materiais na área hospitalar tem assumido destaque principalmente com os avanços tecnológicos ocorridos nas últimas décadas. A incorporação de tecnologia sofisticada pode ser percebida pelo aumento da complexidade das práticas assistenciais e dos desafios que os gestores de instituições públicas e privadas enfrentam diante do aumento da oferta de produtos, que visam maior segurança aos pacientes e equipe de profissionais que lhes assistem, e do consumo dos materiais médico-hospitalares, com consequente elevação dos custos na prestação de serviços. A Agência Nacional de Vigilância Sanitária (ANVISA) tem como atribuição a regulamentação e regulação dos produtos para a área da saúde como forma de promover a vigilância em saúde e subsidiar as instituições quanto ao controle dos produtos na fase de pós-comercialização. Compete à Gerência de Risco Hospitalar o controle dos produtos das áreas de Tecnovigilância, Hemovigilância e Farmacovigilância. O objetivo desta pesquisa é analisar o processo de notificação da queixa técnica de material de consumo de uso hospitalar no contexto do gerenciamento de recursos materiais em um hospital universitário público, no período de 2007 a 2009. Trata-se de um estudo descritivo, retrospectivo, documental com abordagem quantitativa. Compreende a análise de 409 Impressos de Notificação, enviados para a Seção de Parecer Técnico, utilizados na instituição para formalizar o relato da ocorrência de queixa técnica. Destes, 260 preenchem os critérios de inclusão, constituindo-se na população investigada. As notificações analisadas estão agrupadas de acordo com sua finalidade, formando-se três grupos: material médico-hospitalar, material para higiene pessoal e material para uso no processo de esterilização. A construção do fluxograma do encaminhamento do Impresso de Notificação para material padronizado evidencia que a sequência de trabalho possibilita a caracterização da ação dos profissionais e das instâncias de decisão. No conjunto dos anos em análise, o mês de junho apresenta o maior número de notificações (36). Em relação à queixa técnica evidenciam-se os maiores índices no grupo de material médico-hospitalar. Os produtos identificados com maior frequência de notificação são representados pela luva cirúrgica, dispositivo de acesso venoso, equipo, seringa, papel toalha interfolha, fralda e embalagem para processo de esterilização. De acordo com a categoria de queixa técnica (embalagem, estrutura e aspecto alterado) destaca-se a presença das questões de estrutura nos três grupos de material. A participação da equipe de enfermagem é marcante, em especial a do profissional enfermeiro, totalizando 211 notificações; destas 69 enviadas pela Divisão de Centro Cirúrgico e 51 pela Divisão Materno Infantil. Em relação ao turno de trabalho, predomina o período diurno. The incorporation of sophisticated technology can be perceived by the increase in the complexity of care practices and the challenges that the managers of public and private institutions face due to both the increase in the supply of products that aim at greater safety for the patients and the team of professionals who assist them, and the consumption of medical-nosocomial material, with a consequent increase in costs in the provision of services. The National Health Surveillance Agency (ANVISA) is in charge of the rules and regulation of products for the health care area to promote health surveillance and assist the institutions as to the control of the products in the after sales phase. The Hospital Risk Management is in charge of the control of products in the areas of Tecnovigilância, Haemovigilance and Pharmacovigilance. This research aims to analyze the notification process of technical complaints about consumption material for hospital use in the context of material resources management in a public university hospital, in the period from 2007 to 2009. This is a documentary retrospective descriptive study with a quantitative approach. The analysis comprises 409 Notification Forms sent to the Section on Technical Advice, used by the institution to formalize the report of technical complaint occurrences. Of these, 260 met the inclusion criteria, thus composing the investigated population. The notifications under analyzes have been categorized according to their purpose, forming three groups: medical and nosocomial material, material for personal hygiene and material for use in the sterilization process. The construction of a flow chart of Notification Forms Reference for standardized material shows that the work sequence enables the characterization of the actions of professionals and decision-makers. In all the years under review, the month of June presents the greatest number of notifications (36). In relation to the technical complaints this research reveals that the group of medical nosocomial products received the highest indices. The products identified with increased notification rates are surgical gloves, devices for venous access, hoses, syringes, interfolha paper towels, diapers and packaging for the sterilization process. According to the category of technical complaints (packaging, structure and altered appearance), structure stands out in all three groups. The participation of the nursing team is notable, especially the professional nurses, totaling 211 notifications, 69 of which sent by the Surgical Center Division and 51 by the Infant Maternal Division. In relation to work shift, the day shift prevails. One of the objectives of monitoring technical complaints notifications is to feed the Sanitary Surveillance Notification System (NOTIVISA) with information. Thus this institution contributed with 20 pertinent notifications to the area of Tecnovigilância. It is concluded that the Notification Form is an important tool in material resources management in the nosocomial area. Through this feedback it is possible to carry out the monitoring of the quality of the products after sale while preserving the safety for the patient and the health care team.

One of the objectives of monitoring technical complaints notifications is to feed the Sanitary Surveillance Notification System (NOTIVISA) with information. Thus this institution contributed with 20 pertinent notifications to the area of Tecnovigilância. It is concluded that the Notification Form is an important tool in material resources management in the nosocomial area. Through this feedback it is possible to carry out the monitoring of the quality of the products after sale while preserving the safety for the patient and the health care team.
