Analýza fotovoltaických článků pomocí fotoluminiscence / Analyse of photovoltaic solar cells by the photoluminescence method

Baura, Tomáš January 2012 (has links)
This thesis deals with the analysis of solar cells by photoluminescence method. Photoluminescence method is based on the excitation of luminescence radiation of the solar cell material by an external excitation light source. This method can detect various types of defects in the material solar cells. The main objective is the design and realization of a measuring system defects of solar cells, which is based on this method. For excitation of luminescence is used LED array. For the detection of luminescence is used CCD camera with IR optical filter. To filter out the excitation light radiation is used disc screen and optical interrupter. The parameters and options of this measuring system are verified and characterized by test measuring for example the achievable rotation speed of screen and response of optical interrupter. At the end is tested detection of luminescence radiation of solar cells in the measuring system. The measured images are compared with the method of electroluminescence.

From PSD2 to Open Banking : An analysis of the implementation of open APIs in accordance with PSD2 and the supplementing technical standards

Christerson, Johan January 2019 (has links)

Voltametrické a amperometrické stanovení homovanilové, vanilmandlové a 5-hydroxy-3-indoloctové kyseliny / Voltammetric and amperometric determination of homovanillic, vanillylmandelic, and 5-hydroxyindole-3-acetic acid

Němečková, Anna January 2020 (has links)
Presented dissertation thesis is focused on the development of electrochemical methods for the determination of three important tumour biomarkers, namely homovanillic acid (HVA), vanillylmandelic acid (VMA), and 5-hydroxyindole-3-acetic acid (5-HIAA). First part of the study is focused on electrochemical behaviour of these analytes in batch arrangement using differential pulse voltammetry (DPV) at screen-printed carbon electrodes (SPCEs). It has been proved that presented method is sufficiently sensitive for monitoring above mentioned analytes. Moreover, it can be used for determination of HVA and VMA in mixture. Obtained limits of detection (LODs) were 0.24 µmol·L-1 for HVA, 0.06 µmol·L-1 for VMA, and 0.12 µmol·L-1 for 5-HIAA. The requirements to speed up the analysis and at the same time to reduce its price initialized our study of the determination of tested biomarkers in flow systems. Firstly, flow injection analysis with amperometric detection was investigated for the determination of all three biomarkers at the same SPCE, and then an analogous determination of structural more similar pair, HVA and VMA, was performed at a boron doped diamond electrode (BDDE). Obtained LODs of optimized methods were as follows: at SPCE 0.07 µmol·L-1 for HVA, 0.05 µmol·L-1 for VMA, and 0.03 µmol·L-1 for 5-HIAA,...

Lagacé, François K. 06 1900 (has links)
This research-creation project aims to understand the specific relationship of an artist wanting to work on sound composition, digital lutherie and cultural mediation in a unique creative process dedicated to the creation of didactic art projects for non-initiated publics : "La couleur du son" and "Art martial sonore". To do so, this master's thesis first presents a study for each of the field, one at a time, before presenting a reflexion on how they can coexist. Are then studied different original art projects containing each of the three field of works, created specifically for this research-creation. Each of those creations concentrates mainly on one of the three fields of work and connect the other two to it in a way that seeks to be as uniform as possible.

Using eye tracking to optimise the usability of content rich e-learning material / Optimising the usability of content rich e-learning material: an eye tracking experiment

Mpofu, Bongeka 11 1900 (has links)
This research was aimed at the optimisation of the usability of content-rich computer and mobile based e-learning material. The goal was to preserve the advantages of paper based material in designing optimised modules that were mobile and computer-based, but at the same time avoiding the pitfalls of converting traditional paper based learning material for use on screen. A mobile eye tracker was used to analyse how students studied similar course content on paper, and on mobile device. Screen based eye tracking was also used to analyse how participants studied corresponding content on a desktop screen. Eye movements which were recorded by an eye tracker revealed the sequences of fixations and saccades on the text that was read by each participant. By analysing and comparing the eye gaze patterns of students reading the same content on three different delivery platforms, the differences between these platforms were identified in terms of their delivery of content rich, text based study material. The results showed that more students read online content on a computer screen than on mobile devices. The inferential analysis revealed that the differences in reading duration, comprehension, linearity and fixation count on the three platforms were insignificant. There were significant differences in saccade length. This analysis was used to identify strong aspects of the respective platforms and consequently derive guidelines for using these aspects optimally to design content rich material for delivery on computer screen and mobile device. The limitations of each platform were revealed and guidelines for avoiding these were derived / Computing / M. Sc. (Computing)

Tiefdruckverfahren zur Herstellung von Katalysatorschichten für (PEM) Brennstoffzellen

Siegel, Frank 23 November 2015 (has links)
This work presents an industrial close manufacturing process of active electrodes for Polymer Electrolyte Fuel Cells utilizing an adapted gravure printing process. To meet the requirements of the electrodes regarding the layer thickness (weight) and quality a novel line screen with maximized dipping volume for gravure printing was developed and investigated. A design rule for this kind of screens was realized and verified by a successful manufacturing of electrodes with different dried layer thicknesses. Due to the rough structure and the high dipping volumes of these line screens an adaption and optimization of the machinery and the whole process was necessary to achieve high quality electrodes. Finally, it is shown that it is possible to manufacture continuiously in an industrial close roll-to-roll process platinum loaded electrodes, working successful as cathode in a Membran-Electrode-Assembly.

Lavallée, Vincent-Philippe 08 1900 (has links)
Acute myeloid leukemias (AML) are a group of cancers caused by an accumulation of genetic and epigenetic mutations occurring in the stem or progenitor cells of the bone marrow. They represent a very heterogeneous group of diseases, characterized by a large number of combinations of alterations which disrupt to varying degrees key networks in these cells, their sensitivity to treatments and the prognosis of the patients. The deployment of next-generation sequencing technologies over the past decade has enabled exploration on an unprecedented scale of the mutational and transcriptomic landscape of various cancers, including AML. As part of our work, we tested the hypothesis according to which AMLs comprise several genetic subgroups, each characterized by distinct mutations and deregulated gene expression profiles, as well as a differential response to molecules that could represent novel therapies. We tested this hypothesis in the Leucegene cohort, which includes a large number of primary AMLs analyzed by transcriptome sequencing, which we explored one subgroup after the other, dissecting the genomic, transcriptomic or small molecule sensitivities profile of seven AML subgroups representing approximately half of adult AML cases. Our approach has allowed us to discover several new mutations specific to different subgroups, some of which have been validated in independent cohorts. We also confirmed that genes differentially expressed in subgroups are more informative than unsupervised expression signatures, and we identified genes representing potential biomarkers, or having a functional or prognostic relevance in the majority of subgroups. Generated data also led to targeted chemical screens performed on primary AML cells, which identified new context-dependent vulnerabilities. Beyond these observations, our work could have a translational scope while next-generation sequencing is paving its way in the clinic. The combination with other Omics and the incorporation of emerging technologies will help to further the multi-dimensional dissection of these groups and additional ones, as the presented approach could be applied to additional disease subsets and cancer types.
