Vers des traitements morphologiques couleur et spectraux valides au sens perceptuel et physique : méthodes et critères de sélection / Towards color and spectral morphology processing perceptually and physically valid : methods and criteria for selection

Ledoux, Audrey 05 December 2013 (has links)
Mathematical morphology extension to colour or multi/hyperspectral domain in image processing is not straightforward. Most approaches have focused on the mathematical translation of the operators without taking into account the physical or perceptual sense of colour/spectral information. The developed tools in this work are part of a new generic formalism based on adistance function. This construction allows using morphological operators in colour or multi/hyperspectral domain by adapting the distance function. Moreover, the distance function choice validates the operators in the perceptual or physical sense. In front of the increasing number of existing approaches, selection criteria are developed in order to compare the different mathematical morphology constructions. These criteria are based on the validation of the theoretical properties of operators, on the metrological properties and the computational efficiency. With a formalism taking into account the perceptual information of colour and integrating a valid defnition of non-flat structuring elements, two kinds of highest level operators are defned. The frst is a spatial-colorimetric object detector through the defnition of a vectorial and spacial template. The second is the computation of vectorial texture spectra. The spectral extension for both tools is made and opens new scientifc questions.

Právní garance nezávislého výkonu mandátu člena parlamentu / Legal guarantees ensuring independent exercise of the parliamentary mandate

Částková, Eva January 2012 (has links)
This PhD. thesis is dedicated to the legal regulation of instruments presenting guarantees of the independence of the member of parliament during the performance of his/her functions. The aim of this thesis is in particular to present a comprehensive picture of the topic concerning protection of independent performance of the parliamentary mandate, evaluate the Czech legal regulation in force and, last but not the least, to find an answer to the question to what extent is the Czech legal regulation in force complete and effective as well as present possible alternatives de lege ferenda. Member of parliament must be independent with regard to all aspects of the exercise of his/her mandate. Independency of the member of parliament is necessary precondition for his/her ability to exercise the mandate in such a way, which will enable him/her to face external pressures, not only from the state bodies, but also from other subjects or phenomenons. Instruments protecting independent performance of the mandate also support the possibility of members of parliament to fulfil their role freely and as a result to constitute working parliament. Presented PhD. thesis deals with the topic of parliamentary immunity, particular focus is put on the part presenting protection of freedom of voting and freedom of...

On the circle endomorphisms with a flat interval and Cherry flows

Palmisano, Liviana 12 December 2013 (has links)
The principal purpose of this thesis is to give a complete description of the dynamics of a class L of circle maps of degree one, supposed to be (two times differentiable) C^2 everywhere with the exception of two points where the maps are continuous. Moreover the maps are constant on any of the two intervals delimited by this two points. In particular, on a half open neighborhood of this two points the maps can be written as an x^l where the real positive number l is called the critical exponent of the function. In Chapter 2 we prove the existence of a global phase transition when the critical exponent passes through l = 2, for functions of L with rotation number of bounded type. The more general case of function in L with rotation number of unbounded type is studied in Chapter 3. In this case it becomes more delicate to make conjectures ; in fact it often hides surprises due to the presence of underlying parabolic phenomena. Moreover, our results on circle maps give us the opportunity to study the interesting theory of Cherry flows (Chapter 4). In particular we construct an example of such a flow with a metrically non-trivial quasi-minimal set and we give a complete description on the physical measures for this kind of flows. In Chapter 5 we construct a Denjoy counterexample which is a (smooth) C^∞ diffeomorphism away from a half-critical point.

We came to this conclusion following Gadamer?s interpretation of the practical philosophy of Plato and Aristotle. We also achieved this idea through the recognition of the similarity between the proposal of a hermeneutical understanding and moral phenomena considered since the Socratic question about the good. In this sense, the conceptual framework that connects Gadamer?s philosophy and an ethics of dialogue is grounded in both the hermeneutical tradition and in his reinterpretation of the concept of Aristotelic phronesis and the Platonic dialogue. In our view, one of the most important contribution of the ?hermeneutical ethics of dialogue? was to seek a new basis for the discussion on ethical behavior. This is a concept of dialogue that identifies in the project of a human solidarity the possibility for the emergence of actions aimed at taking care of the other seeking the public well-being. Therefore, Gadamer?s hermeneutics reaffirms the importance of philosophy to evaluate the fundamental issues of our practical reality and allowing a rich debate of philosophy and other sciences (medicine, law, education).

It departs from the hypothesis raised by Oswald Ducrot that Saussure, by developing the notion of linguistic value, applies in the study of language what Plato stated about ideas. Ducrot ? an expert in classical philosophy ? draws in the linguistic value theory to develop the branch in linguistic studies known as Argumentative Semantics. According to Ducrot, it is possible to find the philosophical origin of Saussure's theory of value in Plato's theory of alterity. The article intends to draw on a detailed study on the dialogue between Sophist and CGL to circumscribe concepts belonging to different fields of study: philosophy and linguistics. Thus, it aims an epistemological perspective. By the means of the aforementioned works, Ducrot set a nexus between the idea of alterity and the notion of value by finding in both the idea of ?opposition? as constitutive of the issues under analysis. Through the investigation and the deepening of the understanding on the notion of value, it tries to reveal the philosophical influences under the concept developed by the Genebrian linguist. Both Plato and Saussure have set discourses which echo in posterity. These discourses are texts dialoguing with the theories they help to build. In this regard, it looks to counterpoint their interdiscursivity.

Effet d'une déformation biomécanique du pied sur la marche : le cas du pied plat dynamique idiopathique de l'enfant / Effect of a biomechanical deformation of the foot on gait : the case of flexible flat foot in children

Pothrat, Claude 14 December 2015 (has links)
The pediatric flexible flat foot is a common deformation. It is the reason of most pediatric orthopedic consultations and commonly leads corrective foot orthotics prescription. The specific architecture of the normal foot gives it properties of adaptation, strength and flexibility. Any alteration of its structure, particularly related to the shape of the plantar arch can cause modifications in gait. A lot of studies investigated the effects of this deformation, but are generally centered on a small number of variables, only at the level of the lower limb. However, if the local deformation is important to assess, it is unlikely to represent the complex non-linear coordination of the whole body segments related to gait performance. This thesis aims at characterizing the effect of flexible flat foot on gait in children, from a biomechanical point of view at the lower limb level as well as at the global coordination level, using methods from classicla biomechanics, data analysis and non linear dynamical systems theories. The major outcomes of this work are the multiplicity of biomechanical effects and the numerous changes on muscles activities and kinematics of the lower limb caused by flexible flat foot. The intrinsic foot movements particularly reflect the lack of control of gait at the patient's level. The particular role of the trunk and contralateral leg regarding the specific locomotor pattern of patients will be detailed. Finally, the foot will appear to have a protective role of the center of mass concerning resistance to perturbations and maintaining gait dynamic stability.
