Syftet med studien var att utifrån kuratorers upplevelser studera hur kvinnor påverkas efter en våldtäkt, samt att studera kuratorernas förhållningssätt och hur deras arbete med våldtagna kvinnor sker. I studien genomfördes sex kvalitativa intervjuer med kuratorer. Resultatet från studien analyserades utifrån teorier och modeller som stigma, klientcentrerad terapi, kognitiv teori samt tidigare forskning. Studiens resultat visade att de vanligaste konsekvenserna är posttraumatiskt stressyndrom med symptom som flashbacks, ångest, depression, mardrömmar och sömnsvårigheter. Även skam och skuld var framträdande konsekvenser och kuratorerna menar att det är vanligt att offren lägger skulden på sig själv för det som har hänt. De beskriver att ett empatiskt förhållningssätt och respekt för individen i mötet är viktigt för att kvinnorna ska våga berätta sin historia. När det kommer till metoder och arbetssätt framkom det att kuratorerna inte använder sig av några speciella metoder i arbetet. De arbetar med minnet av händelsen på olika sätt beroende på var kvinnan befinner sig. / The purpose of the study was to, based on counselors experience, study how women are affected after a rape, as well as to study counselors professional meeting and working methods. The study conducted six qualitative interviews with counselors. The result of the study was analyzed based on theories and models such as stigma, client-centered therapy and cognitive theory. The results of the study showed that the most common consequences are posttraumatic stress disorder with symptoms like flashbacks, anxiety, nightmares and sleep disorders. Feelings of shame and guilt are also common consequences and it is common for the victims to blame themselves for what has happened. The counselors describe that an empathetic approach and respect for the individual in the meeting is important for women to dare to tell their story. When it comes to methods, it was found that they don’t use any special methods in the work. They work with the client´s memory of the rape in different ways depending on where the client is.

Meetings carried out should be stimulating for the company as well as the co-workers.  Companies should come to an awareness of the importance of meetings, and the full capacity of the meeting can be made use of, through using meetings as a means of communication. When companies carry out meetings the focus should be on the quality of the meeting, rather than the cost.  Meetings should be regarded as an investment, comparable to investments in physical capital. We think that this new way to plan and carry out meetings is a new direction within the meeting industry. This direction takes focus on a professionalisation of the content and purpose of the meeting. This development will benefit companies both within and outside the meeting industry. With a professionalisation, companies outside the meeting industry will replace a lot of inefficient meetings with less, but more efficient meetings. The professional meeting should be used as a tool for reaching success, competition benefits and development. Many adults attend and rely on continuing professional education (CPE) throughout their careers, and CPE is big business for associations. One way associations deliver CPE is through educational conferences. While adult education theories and frameworks offer developmental and operational guidance and advice, there is little practice data to understand what meeting planning professionals actually do as they implement adult education conferences in practice. The purpose of this study was to identify the elements that practicing meeting planning professionals in associations utilize in CPE conference planning and which elements are considered the most important. This study accessed a senior group of association planners who held credentials offered by meeting planning industry associations. In all, 40 participants with a cumulative 784 years of experience participated in eight, online focus group discussions. Utilizing a constructivist orientation, the study employed grounded theory to identify 23 specific elements which were divided into three overarching categories: CPE-related, business-related, and venue. When compared with the cited theoretical models, six of these 23 elements were strongly supported, eight elements were supported, and nine elements were not supported. Only two elements in the cited literature did not appear in the research group-derived list. The three most important elements that emerged were goals and objectives, budget, and venue. A model to describe these findings is offered. This project studied actual practice to understand it better in light of the literature of adult education program planning models. The subject pool was very narrow and the results of this research cannot be generalized. The findings, while partially represented in the literature, fit no single previous model. The most important implications of this study may be to provide insight into adult education in CPE association conference application and suggest areas for future research.

The aim of this study was to examine school counselors' experience working with high school students' psychosocial health during spring 2020 when school was online. The empirical data consists of qualitative interviews with nine school counselors. The result showed that school counselors used their discretion at a greater extent to help and support their students during spring 2020. They also said that the online communication made it easier for some students to contact the counselors. The school counselors said that there were some students that dislike the online way of communicating and in these cases the school counselors made other arrangements for them. Furthermore, the school counselors could see that virtual learning had an impact on the students psychosocial health mainly due to the lack of everyday routines and social contact with other students. The results of the interviews were analyzed using the theoretical concept of discretion and the professional meeting. The conclusion states that school counselors need to incorporate digital communication in their everyday work even when school is not online to be able to meet the needs of every student. It also shows the great impact school has on students' psychosocial health.
