In the last decades, access to information is increasingly being expanded, especially with the arrival of digital and social technologies. However, the biggest challenge is in recognizing and using the appropriate information in a manner that will meet the information needs of the subjects. In this scenario, seeing the Librarian as an information professional who is responsible for mediating the knowledge of the subjects, we seek to know how the Library Science students of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte have been using the information in their daily lives. Thus, our main goal is to understand how practices and literacies events held by students preparing for professional practice are established. In order to meet our goal, we seek to: (i) describe the practical activities of information literacies used by students in the pursuit of new knowledge; (ii) highlight the reflexive processes of students when they use new information; (iii) explain how students have applied technical knowledge acquired in the classroom to social practices related to their profession. Substantiating our research, we have basis in New Literacy Studies (BARTON; HAMILTON, 1993, 1998, 2000; KLEIMAN, 1995; STREET, 1984; OLIVEIRA, 2008, 2010), discussed in this work as social practices that are inserted in different social fields (OLIVEIRA, 2010; KLEIMAN, 2008; ROJO, 2009). The analysis of information literacies has as its theoretical support the works of Belluzzo (2002), Hatschbach (2002), Campello (2003), Dudziak (2003) and Gasque (2010, 2011). With the data analysis, we consider that: (i) the activities used to seek and use information are multiple, held in social, academic and technological contexts, nevertheless we can see a superficiality regarding the use of technical and scientific sources which are inherent in the academic and professional practice of future librarians; (ii) they are critical and have reflexive consciousness about the use of information and (iii) they reported having had few opportunities to practice techniques of library science, thus generating insecurity in the professional act.

Disserta??o (Mestrado) ? This work takes part of the project n?00 Fapemig in partnership with ARMICOPA (Mucuri Regional Association for Cooperation to Small Farmers). The soil samples were collected in four areas of the municipal districts of Ladainha, Novo Oriente, Pot? and Cara?, considering that in each place there were collected samples of pasture, culture and remnant forest areas. Determination of physical, chemical and linked to the organic matter of the soil attributes was accomplished in all areas. The floristic composition was accomplished in four remnant forests of Atlantic forest with Seasonal Semidecidual Forest bioma. Were allocated nine 10 x 10m portions, totaling 900m? in each ciliary forest environment. The botanical material was collected in each portion always attempting to reach the largest species diversity possible per fragment. Among the analyzed agroechossistems, the forest was the one that presented better quality of the soil attributes, indicating that the use and handling can influence directly on those attributes. In the four ciliary forest areas 149 species were identified, distributed in 81 genders and 40 families. The results are aimed at subsidizing the recovery of those environments with agroforests systems developing, once the Mucuri Valley microrregion lacks of studies about the possibilities of maintainable use.

This diversity of characteristics is associated with several factors, including the origin of the coffee beans. Considering these variations reported in the literature, the present study aimed to perform a search of the chemical and physico-chemical composition of commercial coffees in different cities in Southeastern Brazil. Fifty-eight packages of 250 grams of roasted and ground coffee packaged in packaging the type pad and / or vacuum were acquired in different cities of the four states of southeastern Brazil. All products were within the validity period and approximately 58% of brands had the seal of purity of ABIC, while 22% of brands had the seal of the Brazilian Association of Coffee Industry Samples were taken for Laboratory Technology Biomass of the Cerrado, Federal University of the Jequitinhonha and Mucuri, which were conducted evaluations of pH where the average yield around 5.95; titratable acidity 15.03 ? 1.07 (v / m)%; total soluble solids 1.15 ? Brix; staining index and the average for the values ??of L * was 28.87 ? 0.29 for the a * values ??was 8.99 ? 0.10 and b * values ??were 2.84 ? 0.21 ; phenolic compounds were obtained an average of 4.1152 ? 0.4863 g.100g-1 and the average of flavonoids was 0.5042 ? 0.0291 g.100g-1. The multivariate analysis methods, associated with methods using spectroscopy in the infrared region has taken great strides with several applications in food analysis. For this purpose, we used spectroscopy in the infrared region to delineate the most representative functional groups in coffee samples analyzed with the intention of grouping them by similarity using multivariate statistics. The results allowed us to visualize that few groups were formed using the physicochemical analyzes to classify the samples. The Principal Component Analysis was able to accumulate 61.98% of variance in the first two components and the groups formed were confirmed by Hierarchical Cluster Analysis. Regarding the infrared spectra of the samples were further grouped with the Principal Component Analysis accumulating 41.76% of the variance, the groups of samples were confirmed by Hierarchical Cluster Analysis.

Disserta??o (Mestrado) ? Programa de P?s-Gradua??o em Ci?ncia Florestal, Universidade Federal dos Vales do Jequitinhonha e Mucuri, 2016. / The Atlantic Forest is considered one of the most important biomes of the world, a hotspot for conservation, and human actions are the main sources of disturbances that change this environment. Natural regeneration is a very important process that acts directly on the recovery and ecosystem functions. This study aimed to describe and compare the floristic-structural composition of natural regeneration in a Semideciduous Forest located in the RPPN Fazenda Fartura in Capelinha-MG. For this, we sampled a stretch inside the fragment (INT) and two sections of edges, one in contact with pasture (BP) and the other with coffee (BC). To analyze the diversity alpha (?), we used Shannon Index (H') and evenness of Pielou (J') and beta (?) through floristic similarity between sections was determined through Venn diagrams and indices of Jaccard and Czekanowski. We developed the species-area curve to estimate the size of the floristic richness of each sections and its estimators calculated ?jackknife?. To check for possible preferences of the species along the sections we performed Indicator Species Analysis (ISA). To analyze the structure of the vegetation, we calculated the classical phytosociological parameters, besides diameter and height distribution. We compared the structural variables through Kruskal-Wallis test and retrospectively a Dunn test. In the total sampling, we registered 1,561 individuals (230 in INT, 588 in BP and 743 in BC), identified in 42 botanical families, 87 genera and 162 species (78 in INT, 87 in BP and 89 in BC). Families with greater richness were Myrtaceae, Fabaceae, Lauraceae, Rubiaceae, Melastomataceae and Annonaceae. The results showed that the sections have high diversity, well above the standard normally found in the literature, with a low floristic similarity. In general, the vegetation structure was characterized by a higher number of thin and small individuals. The sections have different environments, each with different historical use, environmental variability and types of disturbances, these factors possibly were the main constraints that influenced the floristic-structural patterns of natural regeneration in the sampled community. The information from this study showed the importance of RPPN Fazenda Fartura for the conservation of the Atlantic Forest, as well as the need for more studies to be performed in a spatiotemporal scale.

We focus on the study of two distinct samples: the statistics of impedance of several points in the skin of a single individual and the statistics over a population (many individuals) but in a single skin point. The impedance data was obtained from the literature (Pearson, 2007). Using the Shapiro-Wilk test and the assymmetry test we conclude that the impedance of a population is better described by an assymetric and non-normal distribution. On the other side, the data concerning the individual impedance seems to follow a normal distribution. We have performed a goodnes of fitting test and the better distribution to fit the data of a population is the log-normal distribution. It is interesting to note that our result for skin impedance is in simtony with body impedance from the literature of electrical engeneering. Our results have an impact over the statistical planning and modelling of skin impedance experiments. Special attention we should drive to the treatment of outliers in this kind of dataset. The results of this work are important in the general discussion of low impedance of points of acupuncture and also in the problem of skin biopotentials used in equipments like the Electrodermal Screen Tests.

No. of bitstreams: 1 LeonardoRG.pdf: 4834241 bytes, checksum: d5d0177973b583b09f12fb8e32013bb3 (MD5) Previous issue date: 2010-03-15 / The daily teaching invokes us to answer questions that surround the educational action, they are ethic and political exercises of us teachers, considering the responsibility that is presented to us in circumstance of perspective that we create as for our students? formation. Considering the public school Terezinha Paulino as stage of the daily teaching which we invested, and finally, the school gymnastic group (GGTP), as pedagogical practice specifically attended during this study, we launch the following questions: 1. What are the ethic indicators present in the experience lived by GGTP members? 2. What s the meaning of these indicators for the GGTP members? 3. Do these meanings configure a socio-political dimension of the individuals involved formation ? What socio-political dimension is that? And What is its contribution to think of Physical Education in school? From these issues, we highlight our goals in this research: investigate the educational experience lived in GGTP, with a focus on the ethical elements that characterize and reflect the relationship of these elements in the socio-political dimension of Physical Education in school. To answer the initial questions and achieve our goals, we use the Content Analysis (BARDIN, 2004) as a methodological contribution of this research. From this methodological contribution we got two strands of the discussion here related: relational behavior of living and undesirable relational conduct and non-social. typical examples of good living are: union, cooperation, solidarity, fraternity, conversation, dialogue, love, trust, responsibility, commitment, dedication, application, respect, partition, sharing, gratitude, companionship, kindness Correspond to undesirable behaviors conduct: intrigue, strife (dispute), vanity, arrogance, anger, rage, fury, nervousness, anxiety and fear. Permeates the categories discussion, The group of knowledge produced by different authors, Humberto Maturana predominate among them, sometimes related to some of its main partners, , Jos? Varela, Gerda Verden-Z?ller and Sima Nisis de Rezepka. Although less frequent, we broach other authors, including Edgar Morin and Paulo Freire, to enlarge, articulate, and thus contribute to support the notes, contents of this study. Besides the introductory chapter, is the content of this dissertation: ethics: textual understanding, the methodological way; relational behaviors of living; undesirable conduct relational and non-social; gymnastics as an ethical and political bet on training human. In ethics: textual understandings, we make a brief introduction to distinguish the ethical field which we are advancing; In the methodology way, we briefly describe the implementation of the analysis content (BARDIN,2007); in relational behaviors of living, as well as, in undesirable relational conduct and non-social, we point out the meanings discussing them supported on theoretical contribution of this research. Finally, in gymnastics as an ethical and political bet on training human, we point out some possibilities for the gymnastic practice and physical education at school, as well as to think about education by training human bias.
