INTRODUÇÃO: O modelo epistemológico humanista na Medicina redefine o bom médico como um profissional que detém tanto excelência técnica quanto traços humanísticos. Os currículos médicos tiveram que se adaptar e se preocupar com projetos pedagógicos que dessem conta de promover o ensino/aprendizagem desses traços humanísticos. Esses projetos têm tentado resgatar a Educação Liberal nos currículos de Medicina através da introdução das Humanidades Médicas. Essa introdução tem sido tentada ao redor do mundo nos últimos 40 anos e requer cada vez mais novos projetos pedagógicos. Essa tese propõe o uso de uma atividade instrucional específica no campo das Artes Cinemáticas (enquanto Humanidade Médica) com a finalidade de mediar junto aos alunos a consecução de objetivos humanísticos pertinentes à Educação Médica. OBJETIVOS: Pretendeu-se analisar o filme And the band played on, produzindo possibilidades interpretativas sobre ele, justificando-as e comunicando-as através de uma síntese elucidativa; identificar aspectos de relevância médica cujo ensino/aprendizagem pode ser mediado pela discussão estruturada do filme como atividade instrucional; compilar esses aspectos em termos de objetivos educacionais humanísticos e de sua alocação a uma das taxonomias de objetivos educacionais nas Humanidades Médicas e prover exemplos concretos de possibilidades de ensino/aprendizagem relacionadas a essa atividade instrucional. METODOLOGIA: A análise fílmica abordou a obra nos seus aspectos narratológicos (como personagens e convenções de ponto de vista e narração) e estilísticos específicos do cinema. Observou os vários eixos que geram significação no cinema (linguagem verbal, linguagem escrita, visualidade, ruídos e música). Foi macro-analítica (analisando a obra como um todo), mas necessitou de momentos de micro-análise (seqüências e planos específicos). Envolveu a análise descritiva e formal da obra e sua interpretação através da análise interna (aspectos inerentes como iconografia e simbolismo) e externa (sistemas referenciais externos como teorias psicológicas) de sentido. Os aspectos de relevância médica passíveis de ensino/aprendizagem através dessa atividade instrucional foram procurados e alocados nos campos das grandes taxonomias que organizam os objetivos educacionais (Taxonomia de Objetivos Educacionais, Campos de Significado e Competências). RESULTADOS: Descreveram-se possibilidades de uso do filme de duas maneiras instrucionais: assistência do filme inteiro e assistência de excertos, em ambos os casos com posterior discussão. Em relação ao filme como um todo, duas propostas interpretativas diferentes foram geradas com base no seu potencial uso no ensino/aprendizagem em Medicina. A primeira baseia-se na narrativa romanesca da crise vocacional vivenciada pelo protagonista e a segunda centra-se na análise da instância narrativa e seus dispositivos. Em relação aos excertos, pinçaram-se algumas seqüências para ilustrar alguns de seus possíveis usos instrucionais. CONCLUSÕES: O filme pode ser usado instrucionalmente com vistas à abordagem educacional de objetivos humanísticos. Esses objetivos são pertinentes a diversas áreas do conhecimento, entre as quais citam-se os Domínio Afetivo e Emocional, os Campos Ético e Sinoético, e as Competências Adaptativa, Contextual, de Identidade Profissional e Motivação para Aprendizagem Continuada. Esses objetivos abordam áreas de conteúdo relevantes, como a relação médico-paciente, a vocação médica, o contar notícias ruins, a persona médica, o arquétipo do médico ferido, a comunicação humana e a identidade profissional médica, entre outras. / INTRODUCTION: The humanist epistemological model in Medicine redefines the good physician as a professional that has technical excellence, but also wields humanistic traits. Medical curricula have had to adapt themselves and make efforts to generate pedagogical projects that could foster the teaching/learning of these traits. These projects have attempted to address a Liberal Education in medical curricula by means of the introduction of the Medical Humanities. This introduction has been attempted worldwide in the latest 40 years and is still in need of new pedagogical projects. This thesis proposes the use of a specific instructional activity in the Cinematic Arts (as Medical Humanity) so as to provide mediation to the accomplishment by students of humanistic objectives. OBJECTIVES: The objectives of this thesis were to analyze the film And the band played on, producing interpretative possibilities about it, justifying them and communicating them by means of an elucidative work of synthesis; to identify aspects of medical relevance, whose teaching/learning could be mediated by the structured discussion of the film as an instructional activity; to compile these aspects in terms of humanistic educational objectives and their allocation to one of the taxonomies for educational objectives in Medical Humanities; and to provide concrete examples of teaching/learning possibilities related to this instructional activity. METHODS: Film analysis approached the movie through narratological (characters and conventions of narration and point of view) and cinema-specific stylistic aspects. The several axes that generate meaning in cinema have been considered (verbal language, written word, visuality, sounds and music). The analysis was macro-analytic (approaching the film as a whole), but contemplated micro-analysis (specific sequences). It involved the descriptive and formal analysis of the film and its interpretation in the light of internal (inherent aspects such as iconography and symbolism) and external (external referential systems such as psychological theories) analysis of meaning. The aspects of medical relevance were allocated to and searched for in the fields of the great taxonomies that organize educational objectives (Taxonomy of Educational Objectives, Realms of Meaning and Competences). RESULTS: Two instructional uses of the film were described: projection of the whole film, as opposed to the projection of excerpts. In both cases, a discussion should follow. In the first case, two different interpretative proposals were generated, based on their potential use in teaching/learning in Medicine. The first is based on a romanesque narrative about the vocational crisis experienced by the protagonist, whereas the second one focuses on the narrating instance and its dispositions. In terms of the excerpts, some sequences were pinpointed to illustrate some of their possible instructional uses. CONCLUSIONS: The film may be used instructionally within the educational approach to humanistic objectives. These objectives pertain to several areas of knowledge, among which, the Affective and Emotional Domains; Ethics and Synnoetics (Realms of Meaning); and Lifelong Learning, Professional Identity, Adaptative and Contextual Competences. These objectives comprehend relevant contents, such as the physician-patient relationship, medical vocation, breaking bad news, the medical persona, human communication and medical professional identity, among others.

Estimulação transcraniana com corrente contínua associada ao tratamento multidisciplinar da fibromialgia: um estudo duplo-cego, aleatorizado e controlado / Transcranial direct current stimulation associated to multidisciplinary treatment for fibromyalgia: a double-blinded, randomized controlled trial

A estimulação transcortical com corrente contínua (ETCC) é uma técnica de estimulação não-invasiva do córtex cerebral que tem mostrado efeitos positivos no controle da dor crônica. A hipótese principal deste estudo foi verificar se a associação da ETCC ao tratamento multidisciplinar de pacientes com fibromialgia aumentaria os resultados no controle da dor e melhora da qualidade de vida. O desenho do estudo foi um ensaio clínico controlado, aleatorizado, duplo-cego e de braços paralelos. Vinte e três mulheres com fibromialgia receberam o tratamento habitual de reabilitação com a intervenção multidisciplinar e medicamentos e foram divididas aleatoriamente em um grupo com ETCC anódica sobre o córtex motor esquerdo e catódica na região supra-orbital direita, com corrente contínua de 2mA, por 20 minutos. O outro grupo recebeu estimulação sham, na qual a mesma disposição de eletrodos foi usada sobre o couro cabeludo, porém a corrente foi interrompida após 1 minuto, permanecendo desligada nos 19 minutos restantes. As sessões ocorreram uma vez por semana por 10 semanas consecutivas, sempre antes de terapia multidisciplinar. A dor foi quantificada ao início e ao final do tratamento pela escala pela visual analógica (EVA) e pela dolorimetria de pressão sobre os pontos dolorosos da fibromialgia. A qualidade de vida foi avaliada pelo Questionário de impacto da fibromialgia (FIQ) e SF-36. Como possíveis fatores de confusão, foram avaliados o humor e a capacidade funcional por meio do Índice de depressão de Beck (IDB), Escala de Hamilton (HAM) e questionário HAQ. Não foram descritos efeitos adversos graves. Houve melhora significativa da pontuação do domínio Dor do questionário SF-36, com efeito significante apenas no grupo sob estimulação ativa (de 26,6 ± 12,9 para 45,6 ± 15,1 ao final do tratamento, p=0,006). Nenhum dos demais desfechos apresentou melhora estatisticamente significativa, exceto FIQ que teve evolução marginalmente significativa no grupo ativo (62,1 ± 11,5 para 49,2 ± 21,2; p=0,056) e HAQ que evoluiu de 1,51 ± 0,47 para 1,24 ± 0,4 (p=0,0005), todavia sem diferença entre os grupos. Estes resultados reproduzem parcialmente os achados anteriores de melhora da dor com estímulo nãoinvasivo sobre o córtex motor, mas com dimensões menores, em virtude, talvez, da baixa freqüência de estímulos. A falta de ganhos diferenciados nos grupo ativo em outras dimensões da funcionalidade sugere que a estimulação realizada tem efeito específico sobre a dor. Conclui-se que a associação da ETCC à intervenção multidisciplinar pode trazer ganhos somatórios no controle das queixas clínicas da fibromialgia / Transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) is a non-invasive technique of cortical brain stimulation which has shown some positive effects on chronic pain control. The main hypothesis of this study was to verify if the association of tDCS to the multidisciplinary approach in patients with fibromyalgia would increase the results for the control of pain and improve quality of life. The study design was a randomized, double-blinded, shamcontrolled clinical Trial of parallel arms. Twenty tree women with fibromyalgia received the usual treatment with the multidisciplinary approach and drugs, and were randomly allocated in a group with 2mA anodic tDCS for 20 minutes over the left primary motor cortex and the cathode was positioned over the right supra-orbital region. Another group with sham stimulation, with the same electrode positioning, had the electric current interrupted within 1 minute from of stimulation and remained off during the remaining 19 minutes. Stimulations occurred weekly for 10 weeks, always before the multidisciplinary intervention. Pain was rated at the begging of the treatment and after its end by the visual analogue scale (VAS) e pressure dolorimetry on fibromyalgia tender points. Quality of life was evaluated with the Fibromyalgia impact questionnaire (FIQ) and SF-36. As possible confounders, humor and functional capacity were evaluated with Beck depression index (BDI), Hamilton scale (HAM) and HAQ. There were no serious adverse effects. There was a significant improvement in the Pain domain of SF-36, with significant effect only in the group under active tDCS (from 26.6 ± 12.9 to 45.6 ± 15.1 in the end of the treatment, p=0.006). Any of the other outcomes showed statistically significant improvement, except for FIQ, which presented with a marginally significant improvement in the active group (62.1 ± 11.5 to 49.2 ± 21.2; p=0.056) and HAQ (1.51 ± 0.47 to 1.24 ± 0.4; p=0.0005), without any difference in both groups. These results partially reproduce previous findings of pain improvement with non-invasive stimulation of the motor cortex, however with smaller effects, maybe due to the use of a reduced weekly frequency of stimuli. The lack of differential gains in the active group in other dimensions of functioning suggests the used stimulation be specifically effective for pain. The conclusion is that the association of tDCS to the multidisciplinary approach may bring additional improvement in the control of pain in fibromyalgia

Its objective is to reflect about the reading and creative writing problematic with the Teaching and Learning correcting tendencies Cycle II Project. Field work was done with teachers of Portuguese in Fundamental Education of the Public School System of the State of S?o Paulo in the cities of Hortol?ndia, Paul?nia and Sumar?. These teachers analyzed data concerning continued formation qualification offered by the Regional Administration of Education of Sumar? in S?o Paulo and the consequent application of the Teaching/Learning Project in Eighth Grade classes. We chose the qualitative approach using three questionnaires as the instrument for collecting data at three distinct moments during qualification encounters. There were twenty-nine participants in each encounter and we obtained an average of twenty-three questionnaires answered. The pedagogical proposal of the project aims at recuperating the positive self-esteem and confidence of the students in their capacity to learn by means of a new approach in teaching practice and the creation of challenging school ambient. The material offers alternative of actuation and intervention by materializing conditions for students to attain the level of learning, development and autonomy that corresponds to their needs and age group: learn by doing. However, the data reveal that there are many obstacles in the way: absence of parents, resistance of students and teachers, among others. This causes insecurity and consequent disorder among students and makes the work unviable with unsatisfactory results, thus confirming the enduring picture of defunct public schools in spite of attempts at innovation. Continued Formation is an oportune moment for discussions and valorization of pedagogical work. More credit should be given to group work, autonomy and theory adapted to practice. / Este trabalho est? inserido na linha de pesquisa Universidade, Doc?ncia e Forma??o de Professores. Tem por objetivo refletir sobre a problem?tica da leitura e escrita criativas e conhecer o trabalho com o Projeto Ensinar e Aprender corrigindo fluxos ciclo II (EA). A pesquisa de campo foi realizada com professores de l?ngua portuguesa atuantes no Ensino Fundamental na rede p?blica estadual de S?o Paulo, nas cidades de Hortol?ndia, Paul?nia e Sumar?-SP. Foram analisados dados desses professores, quanto ?s capacita??es - forma??o continuada - oferecidas pela Diretoria de Ensino Regi?o de Sumar?-SP, e conseq?ente aplica??o do projeto EA nas classes de 8? s?rie. O material utilizado oferece alternativas de atua??o e interven??o objetivando condi??es de o aluno atingir n?veis de aprendizagem, desenvolvimento e autonomia correspondentes ?s necessidades e ? faixa et?ria: aprender fazendo. The research was elaborated in two different levels. The first one focused on a bibliographic review to collect enough data to base the discussion about the EE. The second level was based on a qualitative research made on some previous selected schools and some organization responsible for the conduction of the municipal teaching in order to identify whether the EE is critical or conservative. The dissertation shows at first the EE origin and development. Following it broaches the main contributions of the main international conferences on the subject as well as its institutional evolution it on a national basis and at last some different concepts about the EE. The EE practice was studied through a documental research so as to rescue the conduction of the EE in the Municipality of Sao Paulo and through a field work based on interviews and observation in order to understand the EE currently experienced in Sao Paulo, which grant us identify the most predominant EE tendency. In order to contribute to the development of a critical and changing EE practice our proposal is based on the thoughts of the educator Paulo Freire. We remark from the conclusion topics the perception that the EE currently practiced in most municipal schools of Sao Paulo presents a predominant conservative feature / A constatação de que existem diferentes tendências de Educação Ambiental, levou-nos a esta pesquisa que tem como objetivo principal refletir sobre sua prática nas escolas da Prefeitura Municipal de São Paulo. A pesquisa, realizada no período 2003-2004, apresentou dois momentos. No primeiro momento, realizamos uma revisão bibliográfica, a fim de obtermos subsídios para a fundamentação do debate sobre Educação Ambiental. No segundo, por meio de uma pesquisa qualitativa em algumas escolas selecionadas e em determinados órgãos responsáveis pela gestão do ensino Municipal, verificamos se a Educação Ambiental praticada se caracteriza como crítica ou conservadora. A dissertação mostra, inicialmente, a origem e o desenvolvimento da Educação Ambiental. No plano internacional, são destacadas as contribuições das principais conferências internacionais sobre o tema e, no plano nacional, a evolução da sua institucionalização. Em seguida, discutimos diferentes conceitos de Educação Ambiental. Para entender a Educação Ambiental em São Paulo, resgatamos seu histórico por meio de uma pesquisa documental e estudamos sua prática na atualidade com base em uma pesquisa de campo, o que nos permitiu identificar a tendência de Educação Ambiental dominante. Apoiados no pensamento do educador Paulo Freire, apresentamos subsídios para uma proposta político-pedagógica de Educação Ambiental Crítica, buscando contribuir com o desenvolvimento de sua prática. Entre suas conclusões, destaca-se a percepção de que a Educação Ambiental praticada atualmente nas escolas da Rede Municipal de São Paulo se apresenta predominantemente conservadora

TQM, commonly used control system – ISO, and Business Excellence Models – Mal-colm Baldrige National Quality Award (MNBQA) and European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM) were used as the basis for our research. The main premise for the research is that it is not nec-essary to excel in all concepts of TQM, where ISO was used as the primary step towards total quality.</p><p>Hence it was deduced that quality in the collected sample differs among the concepts. Even though the main concept of customer satisfaction is acknowledged, the human factor is still undervalued. This might also be the flaw hinged by ISO. Nonetheless IT sector is considered as highly competitive Belarus is listed in the top five, while also be-ing in the transitional stage. Thus, this thesis examined the tendencies of the quality management in Bel-arus IT industry. 本研究旨在探討新北市完全中學兼任行政工作教師人格特質、工作壓力與憂鬱傾向之關係,以新北市400位完全中學兼任行政工作教師為研究對象,回收有效問卷389份。本研究工具為「性格自評量表」、「工作壓力量表」及「身心健康量表」。以描述性統計、T檢定、單因子變異數分析、皮爾遜績差相關及多元逐步迴歸分析等方法,進行統計分析。主要研究結果如下: 1.新北市完全中學兼任行政工作教師的整體憂鬱傾向屬於中等偏低程度。 2.新北市完全中學兼任行政工作教師不同性別、不同年齡、不同婚姻狀況及不同兼行政服務年資的憂鬱傾向有顯著差異存在。 3.不同性別、不同年齡、不同婚姻狀況、不同兼行政服務年資、不同行政職務及不同學校規模之新北市完全中學兼任行政工作教師的「神經質」人格特質與其「整體工作壓力」間均有顯著相關。 4.不同性別、不同年齡、不同婚姻狀況、不同兼行政服務年資、不同行政職務及不同學校規模之新北市完全中學兼任行政工作教師的「神經質」人格特質與其 「憂鬱傾向」間均有顯著相關。 5.「神經質」人格特質、「上級要求」工作壓力、「和善性」人格特質及「工作負荷」工作壓力,可以有效預測整體新北市完全中學兼任行政工作教師的「憂鬱傾向」,解釋的總變異量為51.4%。 6.「神經質」人格特質可以有效預測不同性別、不同年齡、不同婚姻狀況、不同兼行政服務年資、不同行政職務及中大型學校規模新北市完全中學兼任行政工作教師的「憂鬱傾向」。 7.「人際關係」工作壓力可以有效預測兼行政服務年資第2至5年、擔任圖書館行政職務及中型學校規模新北市完全中學兼任行政工作教師的「憂鬱傾向」。 8.「上級要求」工作壓力可以有效預測35歲以下及擔任教務處行政職務新北市完全中學兼任行政工作教師的「憂鬱傾向」。 9.「和善性」人格特質可以有效預測小型學校規模新北市完全中學兼任行政工作教師的「憂鬱傾向」。 10.「嚴謹自律性」人格特質可以有效預測兼行政服務年資第6至10年新北市完全中學兼任行政工作教師的「憂鬱傾向」。 11.「聰穎開放性」人格特質可以有效預測擔任學務處行政職務新北市完全中學兼任行政工作教師的「憂鬱傾向」。 本研究依據上述結果加以討論,並分別對完全中學兼任行政工作教師、學校、教育行政主管機關及未來研究提出相關建議。 / The purpose of this study is to understand the relationships between personality traits,work stress and depressive tendencies of the teachers work part-time administration in New Taipei City six-year high school.This study samples have 400 the teachers with administrative position in New Taipei City six-year high school,and 389 valid questionnaires are collected.The research tools used are:”Character self-assessment scale”,”Work stress scale”,and” Mental health scale”.The data was analyzed by descriptive statistics,t-test,One-way analysis of variance,Pearson’s correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis.The major results of the study are as follows. 1.Work part-time administration in New Taipei City six-year high school teachers’ depressive tendencies is in the medium low degree. 2.New Taipei City six-year high school teachers work part-time administration of different gender, age, marital status and years of service in different chief executive of depression tend to have significant differences 3.Different gender, age, marital status, different years of service and chief executive, different administrative duties and the New Taipei City six-year high school teachers work part-time administrative "neurotic" personality "overall pressure" were significantly associated therewith. 4. Different gender and age, marital status, different years of service and chief executive, different administrative duties and the New Taipei City six-year high school teachers work part-time administrative "neurotic" personality with its "depressive tendencies" were significantly associated therewith. 5. "Neurotic" personality, "the higher level" work pressure, "kind" personality and "work load" pressure of work, can predict a whole New Taipei City six-year high school teachers work part-time administrative "melancholy tendencies," explained the total varianceIt was 51.4%. 6. "Neurotic" personality traits can predict different gender, age, marital status, different years of service and administration, administrative duties and in different large-scale New Taipei City six-year high school teachers work part-time administrative "melancholy tendency." 7."Interpersonal" work pressure can effectively predict and Chief Executive of service of the first 2-5 years as library administrative duties and medium-scale New Taipei City six-year high school teachers work part-time administrative "melancholy tendency." 8."Higher level" job stress can predict the age of 35 and held executive positions with the New Taipei City six-year high school teachers work part-time administrative "melancholy tendency." 9."kind" personality traits can predict the size of a small New Taipei City six-year high school part-time administrative work teachers' tendency to depression. Construcción de sentido y mecanismos anafóricos: la traducción de las marcas anafóricas TEL y VOILÀ en textos periodísticos

El objetivo de esta tesis doctoral es analizar, desde una óptica semántico-pragmática y traductológica, las actualizaciones anafóricas de las marcas francesas TEL y VOILÀ en un corpus de textos periodísticos franceses y sus traducciones al castellano. Los resultados del estudio muestran que en los textos meta se plasma una tendencia traductora mayoritaria consistente en reproducir las virtualidades anafóricas del texto original mediante soluciones apropiadas de la L2. Sin embargo, también se detecta una tendencia traductora secundaria, que consiste en recuperar la operación anafórica mediante partículas más explícitas. Estos resultados confirman la idea según la cual un comportamiento traductor debe concebirse como una noción gradual, que no es un proceder completamente uniforme, ni totalmente aleatorio. / L'objectiu d'aquesta tesi doctoral és analitzar, des d'una perspectiva semantico-pragmàtica i traductològica, les actualitzacions anafòriques de les marques franceses TEL i VOILÀ a un corpus de textos periodístics francesos i les seves traduccions cap al castellà. Els resultats de l'estudi mostren que als textos meta es concreta una tendència traductora majoritària consistent a reproduir les virtualitats anafòriques del text original mitjançant solucions apropiades de la L2. Aquests resultats confirmen la idea segons la qual un comportament traductor ha de concebre's com una noció gradual, que no és una conducta totalment uniforme ni totalment aleatòria. / The aim of this thesis is to study the anaphoric occurrences of the French anaphors TEL and VOILÀ in a corpus made up of journalistic texts and their translations into Spanish. Our approach is semantic as well as pragmatic. According to the results, the target texts show a tendency to reproduce the anaphoric virtualities of the original text by using appropriate translational solutions of the target language. However, a sencondary translation tendency can also be detected: translating the anaphoric operation by using more explicit linguistic devices. These results confirm the idea that a translational behaviour should be regarded as a gradual notion, which is never a fully steady conduct.

It is characterized as exploratory, documental and bibliographical, having undertaken a cross-sectional study which covers the period from 2007 to 2011. It analyzes the context of academically production in tourism, the nature of these researches, the methodological aspects adopted in these theses and dissertations, the philosophical inclinations and the coherence and contribution of the same. This research uses, the Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations (BDTD) and the secretariats of the Academic Centers of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN) as means to collect data. It employs the technique of sampling by judgment and undertakes the research in various Academic Centers in UFRN, using the method of content analysis. It shows that, from the 643 studies analyzed, 43 of them have themes related to tourism, which characterized this study sample. This study realizes that PPGA is the largest producer of researches on tourism issues, ahead of PPGTur, which ranks the third position, in this aspect. Also realizes that all surveys analyzed are crosssectional and the theme further investigated, with 21% of the sample, is related to the marketing aspects of tourism, with the theme Directors of Hotels and Restaurants (DHR) . This research demonstrates that all sample surveys make use of interviews, and these are, mostly, structured. Also realizes that most of these studies, with 21% of the sample, employ the method of content analysis. The references in Portuguese are surveyed about five times more than the ones in other languages. It estimates that more than half of the sample is characterized as positivist, associated with aspects of functionalism. A minority of 21% of these researches seeks to identify and recommend solutions to the tourism issues, or even represent part of them. This research concludes that the studies in tourism are mostly unifocal, being driven by issues related to the touristic trade. PPGTur produces a number still unrepresentative of studies. The theses and dissertations of the sample are limited and/or unable to analyze the changes of the phenomenon caused by the time. The studies from the sample present criteria and make use of other methods and techniques to associate with the interviews and content analysis to obtain more solid and reliable data and results. They use a low number of references in languages other than Portuguese. Most of these studies, characterized as positivist-functionalist, investigate the functioning, planning, coordination and expectations in organizations, leaving aside other issues, also relevant for tourism. The number of studies aimed at identifying solutions to the problems of tourism, or that even represents part of them, is not expressive / O estudo consiste numa an?lise das pesquisas com tem?ticas em turismo, em n?vel de mestrado e doutorado, investigando suas tend?ncias epistemol?gicas, no que concerne ao tipo de estudo que vem sendo produzido e aos m?todos utilizados. Mostra que, das 643 pesquisas analisadas, 43 delas possuem tem?ticas relacionadas ao turismo, o que caracterizou a amostra do presente estudo. Constata que o PPGA ? o maior produtor de pesquisas com tem?ticas em turismo, estando ? frente do PPGTur, que ocupa o terceiro lugar, neste aspecto. Avalia que mais da metade da amostra caracteriza-se como positivista, associada aos aspectos do funcionalismo. Uma minoria de 21% dessas pesquisas busca identificar e recomendar solu??es ?s problem?ticas do turismo, ou mesmo representar parte delas. Conclui que os estudos em turismo s?o, em sua maioria, unifocais, sendo movidos por tem?ticas relacionadas ao trade tur?stico. O PPGTur produz um n?mero ainda pouco representativo de estudos.
